Good shop, friendly staff, good quality for a fair price

Good selection and nice week BUT there is no place to smoke inside, so it's either take away or smoke standing on the street.

The renovation of this shop has been a complete fiasco, such a waste of what used to be a cozy gathering place. It's a shame the new owners made these choices. I won't be coming here very often anymore, which is a real shame because it was always a pleasant place to be.

I went here recently and had a fantastic experience. The employee, Daniel, was very helpful in guiding me through the various options I wanted, and they were incredibly friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend them. I'll definitely be back!

First coffee shop from Haarlem Greengrocers 14.50 1g of Black Magic...it immediately struck me...a bright green with deep black tones, the taste is pungent and sweet like a big brand perfume, my rating from 1 to 10 is 9.5...I don't think I'll find any other quality like it...but I hope I'm wrong

The staff is super friendly and really knows what they're talking about. I received personalized advice that perfectly matched what I was looking for. The quality of the products is top-notch; everything is fresh, well-packaged, and there's a wide selection, from flowers to edibles and specialty joints. The Cali genetics, in particular, were of exceptional quality. You can tell they're passionate about what they do. The store itself is also beautiful and clean, with a well-organized layout and a relaxed vibe. No rush, no pressure. Just a great place to shop. In short: highly recommended. I visited Greengrocers on a day trip to Haarlem on 3th of July and got a heartwarming welcome by Daniel. We not only got a competent guidance for the menu but also great advices of local spots for enjoying the rest of the day. The prices are really affordable and the quality can measure with any High Quality Coffeeshop I have seen in the last 10 years. This is a shop you should definitely visit if you are a gourmet. Various types and flavors at NORMAL prices. This is what sets them apart from the other shops in Haarlem.

Ugh, i hate to edit this review since i enjoyed this shop for so long, but i really should, because things have changed a lot more than expected since the initial rebrand & not in the right direction, so my old review no longer applies.. Quality has been going down while prices have been going up.. I'm honestly thinking about changing to a different coffeeshop. Wich is a real shame as i loved visiting this place for almost 10 years... A few months after the rebrand to "The Greengrocers" they have become part of a franchise ("Amsterdam Genetics", while keeping the "Greengrocers" name) and since then: - The quality of the weed has gone down (several times now since the latest changes i've received deep dark green/near black stuff, like it's bordering on rotting & i can taste the difference... on top of that even though they sell the same stuff its all listed with lower THC values now??) - There are more/bigger branches in my purchases, i certainly don't expect them to remove all of those (no shop does) but its noticeable that i end up with much more "not smokable stuff" than i did a year ago. Effectively raising the price covertly. - The prices have gone up in general (per gram but also less discount for getting 5 grams) while i really don't see why (my best guess is the 'parent company' wants a cut, which would make sense but doesn't mean i'm happy about it) - They no longer have any seating and have lost any sense of identity they had, its looks cold and sterile and meh. Im sure some people like this but i'm not one of them, especially when there are already several shops of this franchise looking the exact same. 3 out of 5 stars, "with pain in my hearth" & honestly a bit surprised at how they 'fell' in only a few months... It seems like it has become a bit of a tourist trap now... Considering what i said at the end of my initial review, its "lesser times" now instead of "higher times".. ☹️ - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - 5 star review from a few months ago: - - - Been coming to this shop for a few years, always happy with my purchases & the friendly staff. They rebuilt the interior and started a new menu about a month ago and i have had zero complaints, looks nice and while the menu is fairly different it's still great. In the last few weeks since the interior change they've: - Started expanding the new menu - Switched from pre-weighed (which was always fine) to weighing it in front of you (which i guess most people prefer) - Started "teasing" a name & logo change Overall still possibly the best shop in Haarlem, highly recommended, wondering if the new name will be "higher times" 👍

Today my 1st visit to Coffeeshop The Greengrocers. Biked and walked by at least a few hundred times. Shop is newly redone and looks amazing. As if ya walk into an American dispensery. Chill guy behind the counter, allways a plus. Took his time to show me the different buds.The greens look amazing. Took home some Purple Punch (Indica) and Mac (hybrid). Prices are fair, would almost say low but hey I am Dutch. But most important how does the weed taste. the Purple Punch is full of flavor, sweet with a little spice. Nice high, ya get stuff done, and vibe on music. The Mac is a sneaky one. Also tasty, and much flavor. The sneaky part is it hits slow. It creeps up on ya. All of sudden ya feel high asf. So if ya smoke buds and ya in Haarlem, hit them up

This is, by far, the most profesh and friendly bud tender in Haarlem. Great menu, honest advice and a welcoming vibe. 10/10 will come back soon-ish

most tropical weed I've smoked in a long time. (FM) reminds me a bit of a holiday in Thailand. 5 for 4 is also very nice update April 2024: menu is suddenly less (choice) (edit) 5 for 4 is sometimes still there (but not always) 3 gram discount is gone very unfortunate! :-( update May 2025: pick-up point with very expensive prices.,

Good selection with a lot of quality! Nice employee, but unfortunately wrong advice. We bought the Weedy Wonderland Strawberry because they were offered as vegan. Unfortunately, these contain beeswax and gelatin. Unfortunately I ate it and then read the ingredient list. Unfortunately it does not work. Otherwise great!

Damn good weed at really good prices. The service is also very friendly and casual. Unfortunately there is no oat milk with coffee, but that was the only thing that was missing. The highlight are the small glass containers in which you can look at the grass under a magnifying glass and smell it.
