Unpleasant place, had company dinner today, menu was just beef so those who dont eat it, ONLY had a plate of cabbage, (check photo) with nothing else. Very poor dinner, those not eating beef DIDNT EAT ANYTHING. The whole table was laughing about this meal as it’s not presentable at all, only a cabbage for dinner. I came home and prepared dinner. Of course we should have chosen a better place with more choice, our bad as well. Next time.

On our first night in Amsterdam, we tried this place located at the back of the Foodhallen. We shared the pumpkin ravioli (enough for three, very tasty) and also the eggplant (perhaps a bit too spicy), all accompanied by some sweet potato. They brought all the food at once instead of little by little, although they were friendly. The atmosphere was quiet compared to the rest of the Foodhallen.

For what it is, solid. The feta sandwich with 🍟 for lunch was excellent. Skip the shakshuka. Slow, young service but cute atmosphere. A sit-down alternative in food hallen.

Not a bad place, but the menu is quite limited. There aren’t many meat dishes, and there’s no option to add extra ingredients to meals. It’s also generally quite noisy inside.

had a pleasant late lunch here. the sweet fries are a highlight, but the fried cauliflower can be skipped (too much honey in our opinion). the terrace is lovely for a sunny summer day

The staff didn’t mention the kitchen was closed even though the website mentioned otherwise and it was very confusing and an uncomfortable atmosphere. Our drinks came 20 minutes after we ordered there even though it was not very crowded and the staff was very rude. Also the drinks were watered down a lot!! :(( sadly a no for me.

The staff was really rude and we could not get any food even though it said that the snacks could be ordered „all day“ -3hrs before the club closed it was not possible. We then ordered 2 aperols which were 80% ice and costet us 22€- never again!

I like this place the most in foodhallen.

Very disappointing food. Menu looks delicious, but food lacks taste, depth and is really disappointing. The portions are also much too small. Dessert, on the other hand, was much too big. I thought it was extremely expensive for what you got. Atmosphere is great, people are friendly, but when it comes to food, it's not worth repeating.

Food is of mediocre quality. The watery shakshuka was not up to par. The egg was barely poached, but rather raw. The fried oyster mushrooms in the Caesar salad are tough and not tasty. Friendly service and nice location. Small number of guests...

We wanted to eat dessert somewhere and ended up here. Super nice tent because the music was fun. R&B and songs to sing along to. There was Holtkamp cake and delicious mint tea. Too bad there was no Chai Latte! Definitely worth repeating. Security was also present.

Absolute best experience as I was looking for a location to welcome a group of 25 people for my birthday - the team of Kanarie club was super supportive and made everything happend with in a day - my gathering was a full success . I had a complete ease of mind and enjoying to see my friends on my birthday to the fullest while the team of kanarieclub was super attentive and took care of everything ! Absolute rare in amsterdam to get treated so perfectly - the day before I’ve get let down by another place telling me the wont have capacity to take care of my group - their loss and a big plus for kanarie club !!! Thank you for a perfect birthday night at your place !!!!

Nice restaurant for vegetarians. I didn't like it. If you stand at the side of the bar upstairs, you will not be helped. Even if they have seen you. They then have a nice chat together. You won't see me anymore.

We had no idea it was a Veg restaurant. The restaurant was empty but waiters also have a lot of attitude and made us feel bad being there. The food did not taste nice. Next time better to eat at busy Foodhallen standing, rather than be insulted here.

Very nice place with a great atmosphere, the staff is super friendly and although when I arrived the kitchen was about to close, I ordered some gnocchi with some very delicious beans and parsley and cheese and bread with garlic paste. The portions are not abundant, so it is preferable to order two dishes or a main dish and a snack, but everything is very delicious and I was satisfied.

Once again a restaurant where you pay a lot for what you get. Avocado: a small sandwich with a poorly poached egg and some lettuce for 13.50z then the shashuka: a can with peeled tomatoes opened and warmed up and also with a mini poached egg. Without any flavor or spices added. Shame on you!

Since I didn't like the menu as the one in a group of 4 I asked one of the employees if U could get food from the foodhallen to eat there on which he agreed. Went to a sate place and got a plate and went back. Manager walked up to us and barrated us on how we couldn't eat the other food there. Tried to explain to her we asked, and got permission but she wouldn't listen. Eventually I asked if I could atleast keep the peanutsauce on the table to dip some of the bread we got from the place itself which misses didn't allow either. Began to barrate us she would get us the bill. We played her of like an idiot and I coulntinued to eat the plate (since we asked) after which miss came every minute to barrate us on how annoying we where, even though my colleagues where paying customers. Treathened to take my plate away after which I told her no you can't do that so you won't. Dissrupted our business meeting several times. Terrible service, awful worker. Only cool thing is the name, service and the food is terrible yet expensive. (Hence why I asked to order at their neighbour foodplace). If it was a normal place I could imagine, however, it's very custom for the foodhallen courts to order at several places and to eat wherever there is place. This company is a disgrace for the amazing place. Would recommened foodhallen, not recommened kanarieclub. Edit; Just want to add they call themselves the kanarieclub and have not a single bird on their premise, nor any birthfeeders/waterdispensers. The only thing coming close was the crazy bird manager that kept catapulting herself in our conversation.

The place is beautiful and the treatment is magnificent. We really liked eating there. It is well worth going if you are in Amsterdam. I had never eaten somewhere so cool.

Gorgeous place with great food!

Healthy food in a very spacious place with a good, quiet atmosphere, especially for groups, and very friendly service.

The waitress comes to our table, and after saying that she is the manager, tries to kick us out because we brought some food from the food hall, where all of us 4 had also ordered from the restaurant at the table. In doing so, she disturbed our business meeting, said that she didn't want us there any more and forced us to pay as we were eating. All four of us were paying customers, who got permission to being this 'alien' food by another water whom we asked. Also, one of us ordered a coffee that was never delivered. I would definitely not recommend, if you like to be treated with respect.

Después de sufrir encontrando un café que estaba abierto, tenía mesas, y permitía computadoras portátiles, Kanarie Club absolutamente me salvó! El espacio es grande y hermoso. Cuando llegué alrededor de las 11 am de un lunes, pude sentarme, subir a su WiFi gratis y trabajar mientras me servían café y tostadas de aguacate. El precio es tu precio estándar estético al contado, pero mi comida y bebida eran bastante buenos. Sin duda recomendaría este lugar para hacer su trabajo. ¡También está conectado a FoodHallen si quieres explorarlo al salir o al entrar!

This place is absolutely fantastic! It's so peaceful and quiet, away from all the noise of the city. I've been to many places, but this is definitely one of the best for studying or just enjoying some time to yourself. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful too!

I come here to study casually or meet up with friends to make plans and chill. Its noisy but I can focus with my airpods. If you need a more quiet place then this is not it! The snacks are rather pricy but the place looks cool and the service is good.

The place has changed...the dishes are Italian. I really liked the food and it is very creative. Very attentive staff. The atmosphere expanded and for all tastes with different atmospheres.

I celebrated my bday here , most of the staff was very friendly, some seemed a bit stressed, but generally very nice. The food (hapje's) is good and at a reasonable price. I rented ( spend at least 250 euros )the area "pool" bar upstairs. Which was ideal when you want to have a private event. Overall a nice evening.

We stayed from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. to work. We were able to move forward thanks to the background music at a reasonable sound level and the calm of the space recommended. The waitresses are cheerful, the drink prices are very reasonable and the apple pie was excellent.

I was expecting a better menu, there are no so many options. It is a healthy and vegetarian menu. What we ordered was tasty. The restaurant was empty at lunchtime on a Saturday. It is not an expensive place.

Had a delicious meal at the canary club. They have a fantastic new menu with delicious shared dining dishes. Perfect for culinary and long dining. We will definitely come back here!

We waited 40 minutes for the food and what we got was not much for €50.

We went here for brunch and both ordered the protein bowl. After receiving our food we were both a bit confused where the tempeh was. After asking they said they ran out of it. I would have appreciated that info after ordering or at least when receiving my food. They offered to take it off the bill which was a great solution for us. So props for at least afterwards taking care of this situation. The menu is all vegetarian which I loved and the space is really open and has a great vibe. They also have a nice terrace in the back for summer. The service was quick but when we went there it was also very empty.

It was located right at the back of the Foodhallen and more than a restaurant, it was a bar/pub where you could have a bite to eat. That did not detract from the value of their food since it seemed delicious to us. In addition, it had a multitude of vegan options on its menu. The club premises were quite spacious and light tones such as yellow and white predominated, giving a greater sensation of spaciousness if possible. Its menu was brief since the restaurant was not the main dish of the establishment, although it had enough options to end up satisfied with your meal. Dishes of African or Arab origin that delighted us diners. These were our chosen dishes: - Nachos - Hummus with pomegranate and seeds - Shakshuka - Falafelburger We liked all the dishes although the hummus was especially delicious. The most recommended without a doubt. Ideal for traveling with babies since it is spacious and you will have no problem accommodating the stroller and other necessary belongings. Good option if you go to the Foodhallen and want to get away from the hustle and bustle in search of comfort. Recommendable.

Bad service... the staff gives the impression that you are in the way. You have to ask yourself about a table, menu, whether you can order and pay. The guests run after the staff…

Only vegetarian food, but not just healthy vegetables 😀 Delicious, not expensive, friendly service that is also helpful. Space to sit quietly, even with children.

If you are vegetarian, the menu here is probably ideal for you. There is no dish with meat on it. Because of the characteristic building it is very reverberant here.

Update the time of your closing, not at 1 am. My friends and I went for drinks and had a good time. We were putting on our coats at around 00:40 when a security man approached us extremely rudely and said, “Guys, you need to leave”. There were still other tables with people in them.

Had dinner here with a friend some time ago. Delicious snacks and drinks. Very friendly service. Nice atmosphere and I will come back here more often. Highly recommended.

An incredible place to hang out, have a cup of coffee, work, or chill at night! I came at 12.30pm, and experienced lots of sunlight at this hugely spacious cafe. Most of the work seats were taken, but I could still grab a seat at a coffee table for work. The vegetarian brunch menu was great - I had the protein bowl and it was delicious, well-plated, and generously nutritious. It's something I can see myself eating again and again. Staff was polite and courteous. Highly recommended!

Great spot! Burrata was great and so was the truffel risotto. Some of the food is a bit too basic for the price but nonetheless it’s nice. Atmosphere is great and quirky in a chique way and service is really friendly!

Ik was hier tijdens een groot feest. De bediening was vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ondanks de grote hoeveelheid mensen die van hapjes voorzien moesten worden werd er de tijd genomen om speciale gerechten te maken ivm mijn allergieën.

Alleen biertjes gedronken. Uitstekende service. Barkeeper laat bier proeven of het bevalt. Zelden meegemaakt. Mijn complimenten. En divers assortiment. Misschien een wisseltap enige puntje Locatie buiten op het terras is heerlijk itt het vreselijke foodplein in de hallen

Avocado Toast voor €12 is één klein sneetje brood met guacamole en ei erop. De rest van het bord is gevult met een paar blaadjes sla. Qua smaak lekker, maar de prijs is belachelijk voor wat je krijgt. Ik zou hier niet meer eten.

Need to keep an eye on the Kanarie Club! My partner and I are usually a bit apprehensive of vegetarian/vegan restaurants because they leave us hungry. But the food here is amazing. The chef created a new menu that launched in April 2023, so tasty, delicious, fulfilling, and locally-sourced - great for the belly and the planet 🌱😊 The atmosphere is also nice. The location is airy and light, very summery and enjoyable. Looking forward to coming back, highly recommended!

The Kanarie Club is adorable and should be at the top of your list if you are looking for a fun night with fantastic food in Amsterdam. The conference I was attending rented out half of the restaurant for a dinner. The other half appeared to be food stalls where you could order a variety of things. From the moment I walked in, I knew it would be a good night. The restaurant has several games including ping pong and a ball pit upstairs (however not filled while we were there). Since we were at an event, my experience may be a bit different. Different stations were set up and throughout the night, waiters and waitresses walked around serving us a variety of foods. Just to name a few, I tried, chicken on a stick with peanut sauce, hummus and pita bread, duck spring roll, Mexican rice bowl, and more. Everything was delicious and I was stuffed. There was even an adorable cat roaming around. Such a fun night and I highly recommend visiting if you are in the Amsterdam area.
