Delivery was great, the food unfortunately a bit less so. The butter chicken was so dry that the sauce had to work overtime, but it resembled soup more than a curry. A shame, because fast delivery alone doesn't make the food any tastier.

Just terrible. Reminds me of when I started cooking at 17 after I moved out of my parent’s house. I doubt they are even qualified to boil eggs. The audacity to open a restaurant. I can only laugh.. where the hidden camera?

I had a great experience here. The staff was friendly and helpful, the service was fast, and the food was delicious. Definitely recommended for anyone who wants to enjoy a good meal in a pleasant atmosphere.

Nice people good food no place to eat

Never order through their own site. Half of the order wasn’t delivered, called them, “we’ll send later”, never came, next day call again, “we’ll send today”, never came. Scam. With Thuisbezorgd you get at least money back, own site they just steal your money and not deliver the food

The takeaway discounts are fake and the customer service was terrible. The food was also quite bad.

Unfortunately, we had to wait 2.5 hours for our food. We were told that the food would be delivered within 10 minutes, but it turned out to be 45 minutes.

Ordered something here for the first time yesterday. Sorry, but it was such a disappointment! The discount on the samosa hadn't been applied. I sent a message about it, but received no response. The chicken samosa wasn't tasty either. The shrimp curry was nothing but oil! So I didn't eat that either! The shrimp were also very soft. The delivery person barely said hello and left immediately. Very unfriendly. I definitely won't be ordering from here again.

Ordered again after months and this time it was very disappointing.. the chicken curry was just like tomato soup and the chicken biryani had absolutely no taste. This was the last time!

Never order here. The photo is clear with a name, but you don't get it. If you call, he says he's on his way, but he never comes. You call again, and he says it's your problem.

Very disappointing experience. The product quality was poor, and the promotional offer (2x1) was not honored: they only delivered a single item, which feels misleading. Additionally, the customer service over the phone was far from acceptable. The representative came across as unprofessional and dismissive, which made the situation even more frustrating. Overall, not recommended.

To start with food arrived late. About food: The description of dish says Indo-chinese fried rice, far from what we get in India. It was not chicken fried rice at all, it is just a Cumin flavoured rice with chicken pieces on top of it. Disappointed!!!

Food is alright and well priced, but the delivery time is insane. Waiting an hour or two for food is not okay, and they will lie on the phone and tell you it's 10 minutes away.

We got takeout because the buy-one-get-one-free deal was much cheaper than at other Indian takeout places in town. Unfortunately, it was very mediocre, so we will never order here again. The butter chicken was tasteless, the tikka masala was very thin, and there was very little chicken in it.

The paneer tikka masala is absolutely inedible. The paneer is tough, and the curry is a bland sauce with a nasty flavor. The naan also had absolutely no flavor. This was a real waste of money.

I'd never had this kind of food before, or I'd never liked it at other restaurants. Here it's truly excellent. Worth a try.

We ordered at 6:15 PM and waited two hours for it. When we called at 7:20 PM, they said it was on its way. It finally arrived at 8:15 PM. The onion bhajis we ordered were also missing, and the curries were very watery. Very mediocre.

Never order food from here again! I ordered food an hour and a half in advance, but half an hour after the stated delivery time, there was still nothing. I called, and the employee gave excuses, saying it would be there in 10 minutes. I told them I'd already ordered an hour and a half in advance. I got no response; the employee simply stopped talking and didn't respond to anything I said. Half an hour later, it still hadn't arrived, and I received a call from the delivery driver saying he couldn't find it. He didn't clearly indicate where he was and acted irritated. I tried to help him find the address, and then he yelled at me, saying he wasn't stupid and had a high school diploma. A little later, he started saying it wasn't his fault and kept repeating this about a hundred times. When the food finally arrived, he started boasting about how he'd give us free food next time, that this was his boss's fault, that he'd be angry with his boss, and that he didn't care if he got into trouble. All in all, the food arrived 75 minutes late, was cold, and of poor quality. I've never had such a bizarre service experience.

Scores a 4.4 on Thuisbezorgd. Don't believe it. Butter chicken is as watery as diarrhea. That's exactly what you get after eating that butter chicken. I've honestly never had such disgusting butter chicken. Even the ready-made one from Albert Heijn is ten times better.

I ordered food for 6:30, and called at 7:00 to ask if it was coming. Someone on the line didn't speak Dutch, snapped at my address, and then hung up. Dramatic. Overall, the food is good. The service is subpar.

I had the student menu 7 delivered to my home. The ingredients were disappointing. Rice with a curry sauce and only 4 pieces of chicken. No vegetables in sight. Twenty euros for white rice with a sauce is a bit pricey. It was delivered on time, though.

Honestly the food is great. Only wish the naan were a bit thinner. But otherwise tasty, good portion size, and price is fine considering how many extras you get for special offer. Don’t listen to the poor reviews, just expect delivery to take a little longer than stated. But hey, why are you in a rush, chill. Update 10 months later: Kashmir kitchen might be my most ordered delivery since moving to Utrecht a year and a half ago. They have been there for me in sickness and health. They have outlasted multiple situationships. I will never turn my back on them. Kashmir Kitchen + me = true love Addition: I will never understand the hate for this restaurant. I accidentally ordered for pickup and couldn't go because I was sick, they sent it to me anyways. The best.

We ordered takeaway, it came quite fast but the food is super expensive and not that good. We ordered the butter chicken and it’s extremely runny with almost no chicken for 30 euros. Also the naan was soggy and had almost no taste at all. Such a scam

The order arrived within an hour, which is very positive. The food was still warm upon arrival. Unfortunately, the butter chicken was disappointing: it was very watery and lacked flavor. Furthermore, the cheese naan was tough. Hopefully, this can be improved in the future. Paid 52 euros for: - Two butter chicken dishes with rice - 1 cheese naan - Delivery was free

I ordered some paneer and a mango lassi. The mango lassi wasn't included, so I called them right away. They said they would deliver the mango lassi, but that didn't happen.

The quality was poor: the spicy chicken legs weren't spicy at all, and the vindaloo was bland. Very bad, very expensive. Don't order.

Unfortunately, my food was cold and incomplete. The service on the phone wasn't great either. They hung up on me. I called back later, and I'll get a free meal next time. Who knows, maybe that's actually true. But I wouldn't recommend ordering from here.

It should have been called 4 bowls of watery sauce and a few chicken pieces. Way too expensive, first time and definitely never again. P.S. The naan looked like chewing gum. €90 wasted.

Huge disappointment. The butter chicken was a watery mess, with 4-5 sad, dry pieces (about 100g). Without a buy-one-get-one deal, you'd have to pay €20 per person for this, which is absurd. Most microwave meals outdo this dish for a fraction of the price.

Watery soup curry and afterwards we had to bivouac for half an hour in the smallest room where it came out just as watery on both sides.

The food wasn't very good, watery/thin. Certainly not bad, but not as tasty as Indian food usually is. The naan was bad; it felt like a supermarket naan. I live far away (3 or 4 km, but they deliver there), so it took 1 hour and 45 minutes to get it, and by then it was already lukewarm. The price was reasonable.

It is beyond ridiculous when you have to wait 2 hours for food, which upon arrival is just lukewarm. Being told in the span of about an hour that the deliveryguy will be there in 10 minutes adds on to the dissappointment. Will not order again.

We've now ordered twice through Thuisbezorgd. The first time, everything was delivered perfectly, on time, and delicious. We're fans of the tiki masala. The second time, it was half an hour late, but we received a sincere apology. The food was delicious again the second time.

I got butter chicken for takeout. The naan was okay, but the butter chicken was unfortunately very disappointing. The butter chicken was VERY watery and THIN, not at all creamy, spicy, or as it should be. You also don't taste much flavor in the sauce or chicken. If you're a discerning foodie, I'd avoid this place. For the price of 20, you really should expect a bit more effort :(

A truly terrible experience – never again The food was absolutely terrible. The chicken looked so old and bad that I didn't even dare eat it. It looked reheated and was limp and unappetizing. The rice was truly awful: dry, hard, and completely flavorless. The rest of the food was nothing special. There were no vegetables, even though the photos clearly stated that. The sauces that were promised were also completely missing. Misleading advertising and a complete waste of money. This was the first and last time I ordered from here.

Used to be one of my favorite places to order Indian food, but the quality has dropped tremendously. Food order arrived cold after more than 1 hour, and the coating of the bhaji I ordered was flavourless and way too thick. Naan was cold and tough. The paneer jalfrezi and vegetarian samosa were alright.

They made me wait two hours for my food, and when I called, they said they canceled it. It's a shame they treat customers this way. We always ordered from them; apparently, they don't want to keep regular customers. The reason the order was canceled was because I had my old number on Thuiszorg. Apparently, they don't have the brains to just email to say your order has been canceled.

So we ordered food, I wish I could tell you the quality of it but I never reached ou home, after several calls which led to nothing we cancelled our order after 3 hours of waiting.... I will skip this one next time and I recommend you do the same

Ordered food. Unfortunately, they were very disappointed with their veggie korma. It was overly sweet and therefore not tasty at all (and I've had korma from other restaurants many times!). We won't be ordering from them again!

They are scammers ! on 17 o July I make an order which was around 30€ and mistakenly I select to pick up I wanted it to deliver to my address so I called them that I can’t pick it up could you bring it to my place they said no it’s a small order we will not deliver it to you . I said ok they can you cancel my order they said Ok we will cancel it but in the morning I received the message that you picked up your food . I called them on the first day they said sorry my manager is not here on the second day when I called they said we will cancel it it’s been 6 days and I didn’t receive nothing . They are the biggest scammers in the Netherlands be aware!

Really gross korma which was bland, super sweet (like desert-level sweet, for a curry/main), definitely made with frozen/unfresh vegetables, and the naan was bland and soggy. Waited for 75 min for this crap. The owner's response to this review was rude and not constructive, I quote: "Please read good and then place order Thanks". NOT recommended.

The food is good, but the quantity is way below the price. We ordered two pens and two cans of drink for €40. The food was very small. I expected at least double the amount for that price. No, not for me anymore. Too expensive for the amount of food. Even though it was very tasty.

We ordered 1+1 deal. Butter chicken was so bad that my stomach is upset now. Chicken tikka was sweet and no other taste. Both garlic Naan and butter Naan were so chewy and bad in taste. Pedí 2 veces la comida estudiantil de pollo con mantequilla por veinte euros. Parecía un buen trato, pero no había naan ni verduras involucradas y solo unos bocados de pollo. Mayoritariamente arroz y salsa, con sabor no tan interesante. Demasiado caro para salsa y arroz ligeramente aburridos...

Absolutely brilliant visit, everyone was so welcoming and chatty. Food was absolutely incredible and staff were so attentive and personal! We were very shocked to come on here and see bad reviews, it was far from and definitely recommend! Thank you all ♥️

Had it delivered. It arrived nice and warm for the distance. Nicely seasoned, tender chicken. The samosas were also delicious. Very friendly delivery person, came into the porch whistling a cheerful tune.

I ordered chicken tikka masala today and out of 6 pieces of “meat”, at least three of them were tofu. How is this even possible? How is it possible to even trust what you’re ordering at this point

Kashmir Kitchen is truly a hidden gem in Utrecht! The food is wonderfully spicy and full of flavor — exactly what you would expect from Pakistani-Indian cuisine. I had the butter chicken and my boyfriend had the vegetarian palak paneer, both were great! The portions are generous and the naan breads are fresh and deliciously fluffy. The service was friendly and attentive, and the restaurant itself feels warm and cozy. It is clear that the food is cooked with love. Also nice: the food arrived quickly and everything was at the right temperature. If you are looking for authentic South Asian food for a fair price in Utrecht, then Kashmir Kitchen is definitely recommended. I will definitely be back!
