We ordered for take out, and we could pick it up in 20 min. We ordered biryani special, butter chicken and tandoori chicken wings,. The food tasted really fresh and good, we will order here again. Very nice service also from the people there

It took 2.5 hours. I called several times. The delivery driver had "just left," but after 45 minutes, he still hadn't arrived. The food was cold, and a container of rice was missing. The quality was poor: the spicy chicken legs weren't spicy at all, and the vindaloo was bland. Very bad, very expensive. Don't order.

45 minutes late despite ordering early. I called several times to cancel, but I couldn't wait. The taste was okay, but it was literally 4 pieces of chicken! It should have been called 4 bowls of watery sauce and a few chicken pieces. Way too expensive, first time and definitely never again. P.S. The naan looked like chewing gum. €90 wasted.

Huge disappointment. The butter chicken was a watery mess, with 4-5 sad, dry pieces (about 100g). Without a buy-one-get-one deal, you'd have to pay €20 per person for this, which is absurd. Most microwave meals outdo this dish for a fraction of the price.

Very expensive for what you get. We expected much more. It wasn't very tasty either.

The place didn't look clean. The food wasn't ready. Butter chicken was really watery. It tasted more like chicken fat. Not really Indian. For that price, you expect more. I got a stomach ache from it.

Watery butter chicken with dry chicken, lacking flavor. The rice was very dry and definitely not fresh, and the naan was tough. Not recommended, especially considering the prices. You can get much better.

The food wasn't the best, but it wasn't the worst either. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant!

Watery soup curry and afterwards we had to bivouac for half an hour in the smallest room where it came out just as watery on both sides.

The food wasn't very good, watery/thin. Certainly not bad, but not as tasty as Indian food usually is. The naan was bad; it felt like a supermarket naan. I live far away (3 or 4 km, but they deliver there), so it took 1 hour and 45 minutes to get it, and by then it was already lukewarm. The price was reasonable.

It is beyond ridiculous when you have to wait 2 hours for food, which upon arrival is just lukewarm. Being told in the span of about an hour that the deliveryguy will be there in 10 minutes adds on to the dissappointment. Will not order again.

We've now ordered twice through Thuisbezorgd. The first time, everything was delivered perfectly, on time, and delicious. We're fans of the tiki masala. The second time, it was half an hour late, but we received a sincere apology. The food was delicious again the second time.

I got butter chicken for takeout. The naan was okay, but the butter chicken was unfortunately very disappointing. The butter chicken was VERY watery and THIN, not at all creamy, spicy, or as it should be. You also don't taste much flavor in the sauce or chicken. If you're a discerning foodie, I'd avoid this place. For the price of 20, you really should expect a bit more effort :(

A truly terrible experience – never again The food was absolutely terrible. The chicken looked so old and bad that I didn't even dare eat it. It looked reheated and was limp and unappetizing. The rice was truly awful: dry, hard, and completely flavorless. The rest of the food was nothing special. There were no vegetables, even though the photos clearly stated that. The sauces that were promised were also completely missing. Misleading advertising and a complete waste of money. This was the first and last time I ordered from here.

Used to be one of my favorite places to order Indian food, but the quality has dropped tremendously. Food order arrived cold after more than 1 hour, and the coating of the bhaji I ordered was flavourless and way too thick. Naan was cold and tough. The paneer jalfrezi and vegetarian samosa were alright.

So we ordered food, I wish I could tell you the quality of it but I never reached ou home, after several calls which led to nothing we cancelled our order after 3 hours of waiting.... I will skip this one next time and I recommend you do the same

They made me wait two hours for my food, and when I called, they said they canceled it. It's a shame they treat customers this way. We always ordered from them; apparently, they don't want to keep regular customers. The reason the order was canceled was because I had my old number on Thuiszorg. Apparently, they don't have the brains to just email to say your order has been canceled.

Waited 2,5 hours but the food never arrived. Called the restaurant 3 times but they kept saying the delivery driver was on their way. Ended up cancelling our order via Uber Eats. Would not recommend.

Ordered food. Unfortunately, they were very disappointed with their veggie korma. It was overly sweet and therefore not tasty at all (and I've had korma from other restaurants many times!). We won't be ordering from them again!

They are scammers ! on 17 o July I make an order which was around 30€ and mistakenly I select to pick up I wanted it to deliver to my address so I called them that I can’t pick it up could you bring it to my place they said no it’s a small order we will not deliver it to you . I said ok they can you cancel my order they said Ok we will cancel it but in the morning I received the message that you picked up your food . I called them on the first day they said sorry my manager is not here on the second day when I called they said we will cancel it it’s been 6 days and I didn’t receive nothing . They are the biggest scammers in the Netherlands be aware!

Really gross korma which was bland, super sweet (like desert-level sweet, for a curry/main), definitely made with frozen/unfresh vegetables, and the naan was bland and soggy. Waited for 75 min for this crap. The owner's response to this review was rude and not constructive, I quote: "Please read good and then place order Thanks". NOT recommended.

The food is good, but the quantity is way below the price. We ordered two pens and two cans of drink for €40. The food was very small. I expected at least double the amount for that price. No, not for me anymore. Too expensive for the amount of food. Even though it was very tasty.

We ordered 1+1 deal. Butter chicken was so bad that my stomach is upset now. Chicken tikka was sweet and no other taste. Both garlic Naan and butter Naan were so chewy and bad in taste. Absolutely brilliant visit, everyone was so welcoming and chatty. Food was absolutely incredible and staff were so attentive and personal! We were very shocked to come on here and see bad reviews, it was far from and definitely recommend! Thank you all ♥️

Had it delivered. It arrived nice and warm for the distance. Nicely seasoned, tender chicken. The samosas were also delicious. Very friendly delivery person, came into the porch whistling a cheerful tune.

I ordered chicken tikka masala today and out of 6 pieces of “meat”, at least three of them were tofu. How is this even possible? How is it possible to even trust what you’re ordering at this point

Kashmir Kitchen is truly a hidden gem in Utrecht! The food is wonderfully spicy and full of flavor — exactly what you would expect from Pakistani-Indian cuisine. I had the butter chicken and my boyfriend had the vegetarian palak paneer, both were great! The portions are generous and the naan breads are fresh and deliciously fluffy. The service was friendly and attentive, and the restaurant itself feels warm and cozy. It is clear that the food is cooked with love. Also nice: the food arrived quickly and everything was at the right temperature. If you are looking for authentic South Asian food for a fair price in Utrecht, then Kashmir Kitchen is definitely recommended. I will definitely be back!

Absolutely dreadful. I ordered the king prawn madras and received a flavourless and actually watery (a first, credit where credit is due) excuse for a curry. Absolutely no spice to it, terrible flavour profile, and the prawns were tiny and shrivelled sad excuses for prawns and absolutely not king prawns (jester prawns?). Please, do not order from restaurant and do not be fooled by the Thuisbezorgd 4.3 star reviews, which are either fake and/or were left by people who have tragically lost all sense of taste.

I'll leave my review up, but the gentleman who gave me my (as always delicious) food was extremely derogatory and was outright laughing at me? Spoke to me as if I was a toddler or mentally challenged. Very nasty in any case. I've always been a loyal and good customer, I'm not a Karen or anything. This was really very nasty I'm still upset about it. And besides that I didn't get my extras that you never get when you order above 16 euros. I live around the corner, so I would have been happy to wait at home for my order. But now I feel pissed off and ripped off. I think that after years of being a loyal customer for myself and for parties at this place, I'm going to give up my trust. I don't get it, why? Always delicious food! Because they forgot the rice last time and I didn't think it was necessary for them to deliver it, long live the garlic naan, this time I got chicken curry as a gift! Never ordered because I didn't know which curry was "chicken curry". I still don't know, but man that is awesome! Just like everything I've ordered so far (butter chicken, and (btw it was the first time that something was wrong with the order and I've been ordering here for a long time) paneer chicken masala, all tandoori, the bartha and all vindaloo and madras, although unfortunately not "British" spicy, but that will probably be inedible for most Dutch people, everything is delicious! And the chicken curry is now also on my list! Don't forget to order the garlic naan with it!

Ordered delivery from here twice and will not be doing it again. Very long delivery time. The second time part of our order was missing, called for a refund and was told we’d receive a free one next time which I have doubts about. Worst of all, I ordered a vegetarian paneer dish which I found a chunk of chicken in.

I ordered once and definitely won’t be ordering again. They had a 1+1 free deal on their “Chef Specials” butter chicken, which came to €29.95 in total. Even with the promotion, it was a letdown. The rice and chicken were dry, and the overall quality was far below expectations — I’ve had better from a microwave meal at the supermarket. What’s worse is that without the deal, it would’ve cost €46. That’s way too much for a dish that’s neither flavorful nor satisfying. At this price point, you expect either something truly special or enough food for multiple meals. This was neither. Very disappointed — I wouldn’t recommend it.

This Meal Was a Scam with a Side of Attitude 3 complaints: 1st complaint: Catfished by Chicken. I ordered the “Student Meal 1” expecting what was shown in the photo: juicy drumsticks, maybe even some hope. What I got instead? Three suspiciously dry thumbnail-sized pieces of chicken breast that looked like they lost a fight with a microwave. Not even a sprinkle of seasoning to mourn the loss. Calling this a "meal" feels like false advertising and an insult to actual students everywhere. 2nd complaint: Customer service with a side of confusion. Called to track my order and got hung up on mid-sentence. Not because I was rude, unless politely asking someone to repeat themselves is offensive now? I left a note to call me on arrival. Spoiler: they didn’t. When I called them back, they said they took the food back to the restaurant. At that point, I’m convinced this meal was never meant for me. Maybe they were protecting me from their own cooking. 3rd complaint: Delivery so slow, I evolved. It took 2.5 hours to deliver a sad bowl of rice and the Sahara’s driest chicken. By the time it arrived, I was spiritually fasting and had already gone through the five stages of grief. The only thing this meal delivered was regret.

Here they have the tastiest Indian dishes in Utrecht. Highly recommended are; tandoori mix grill, all biryani dishes and the hot wings are delicious. Food is always hot and friendly people.

I have been ordering from here from quite some time now. I just love the food it's so delicious. I would specially like to mention about the tarka dal which is made authentically accurate only here in the entire Netherlands by not using Channa Dal. All the paneer dishes are also so tasty. Sometimes there's a minor delay in delivery that is acceptable for the quantity and quality of food, it's always worth it !!
