Extremely busy polish cafe that serves branches. You can also buy some liquors (nalewka), pickles, canned berries and sweets here. Matcha latte was pretty good. I didn’t have a chance to try pierogy, might come back and update the review. The place leaves good impression so far: it’s cozy and has its own charm. But there is ALWAYS a queue, so be prepared to wait.

Great brunch place, small and busy but we waited just 15min to have a place. We had 1 matcha coconut latte and 1 coconut latte, 1 dumplings dish, a medium sandwich and a slice of Oreo cheesecake and we were super full and satisfied! the dumplings were especially good, will come back definitely

New brunch favorite discovered! Everything here was excellent: delicious Polish dishes in generous portions, good coffee, fantastic cheesecake and lovely staff. The menu was perfect for a rainy day like today. The pierogi and zapiekanka are real comfort food. The setting is in a small room that feels like a living room. Nice playlist too. The number of seats is limited and I don't think you can make a reservation, so you have to visit at random and definitely go in if you see that there is room! I can't wait to go back.

This is hands down one of my favorite places to eat In Amsterdam. The food is always so delicious. The service is also always great. Very cozy and my dog is always welcome. I think they have the best chai around. My favorite breakfast is the veggie omelet. They also have gluten free options. Definitely recommend.

Kazik is a cosy place for trying out some delicious polish flavours. They have a wide range of dishes, pastries and polish products that you can buy. I definitely recommend trying out the zapiekanki or coming by on the weekend to have some pierogi. The service is very welcoming and it all makes up for a nice, warm place to spend a chilly winter day.

Whenever I feel homesick I come to Kazik to eat some amazing polish food and to experience the true polish hospitality. Pierogi (which are served over the weekend) are delicious and you can also never go wrong with a fresh zapiekanka.

The food is delicious. The portions are very big and ingredients used are of great quality. I often leave so full, I can barely move. The atmosphere feels like home and the staff is very friendly. It’s a small and cosy place, always full of people, music and great food. I always come back. If you’re a foodie, this is a place you must visit!

Kazik is just the coziest place in Amsterdam! The atmosphere is fantastic, whether you want to catch up with a friend or come with a book. The staff is really friendly, and they made me feel really welcome and at home. Very warm people! Not the mention the zapiekanka’s are delish! The pierogi’s on the weekend’s are visibly home-made and they taste fantastic. It’s without a doubt my favourite place in Amsterdam. It’s so rare to find a place with an actual soul and character these days and Kazik definitely provides that ❤️

The food was absolutely delicious and definitely worth it! I especially loved the pierogi and the “Meat Lovers” zapiekanka. We’ll probably come back soon. The only thing I wouldn’t recommend is the orange cheesecake. While the base of the cheesecake was really good, the orange topping was overwhelmingly bitter. Next time, I’ll try a different flavor. Suggestions for Improvement: 1. Waiting List and Time Limit: The place is small and has limited seating. It was chaotic trying to find a spot to sit and eat, especially with some people staying at tables without ordering. A waiting list system and a time limit for tables could help manage this better. 2. Add a Cooker Hood: The smell from the cooking was noticeable throughout the space. Installing a range hood would help with ventilation and improve the dining experience. 3. Staff Training and Process Optimization: The staff could use better training, and the service processes could be more organized to improve efficiency and customer experience. 4. Install a Door Closer: The door was often left open, and with freezing temperatures outside, this made things uncomfortable. A door closer would solve this problem.

THEY HAVE PIEROGI! only during the weekend but it was absolutely delicious. Super nice place but tiny, really hard to find a sitting place but worth waiting for their pierogi and superior lemonade!

A creamy, velvety dessert with a buttery crust, served by a waitress with an intriguing smile—the best cheesecake I’ve ever had in AMS. Paired with matcha in handmade pottery, it created a moment so perfect, it makes me long to return to that place.

We are staying in the area and we’d seen the place busy all day every day. We ought we’d give it a go and we were so happy we did. The food was amazing! We had the OG Classic and the spicy one. Going back again for sure. My husband said it was a nice vibe while he was eating and the staff were nice.

50 minutes of waiting for a casserole without mushrooms for 15 euros. I don't recommend it

Waiting for casseroles for over 45 minutes, without prior notice. The casseroles were delivered after 30 minutes and were wrong, so the time was even longer. The staff is clueless, they take a break with the casserole you ordered earlier and even though you've been waiting for the same one for 45 minutes, the staff takes it away and goes for a break. DRAMA! Apart from the fact that the casseroles were delivered after 45 minutes, they also ran out of mushrooms so they were left without. I do not recommend, big disappointment and incompetent service.

This is my favorite cafe in Amsterdam. Everything I tried here was delicious, and their decaf coffee is the best. Even when it gets really packed, the staff is super nice. 10/10

Very pleasant staff and great cakes. Open sandwiches filling and tasty. It's a small and cozy cafe with consistently great vibes. Only downside is I think they suffer from having too much on their menus. Even with just the open sandwiches, cakes and weekend pierogi there's plenty of choice. I think the service would be even more streamlined if the cafe focuses on fewer items on the menu :)

I am happy polish food is introduced in an international setting although i feel like the unawareness of the typical prizes and ingredients used makes the owner to put really exceptionally high prizes. Its not a restaurant, it's just a café- but the prizes are not applicable. How can someone charge 17 euros for pierogi? Pierogi is very simple and basic polish dish, same goes for oscypek (cheese) 3,50 euros? I understand it's Amsterdam, but it has became slightly unreasonable. Water with raspberry syrup is 3,50 (called lemonade) I don't even mind paying for pierogi that much if service would be good and fast. To order it might take up to 15min due to a very busy atmosphere, and then waiting time around 30min. I think if a place wants to have restaurant prizes, this should also go along. The taste is obviously great, and I love to eat their food but i feel like this place has became too busy for its need and too small to accommodate.

Great food, wonderful team - we felt very welcome with a baby and a dog, even in such a cozy place. Staff is very friendly! I absolutely recommend.

We got the Zapiekanki Meat lovers and it was decent, nothing too special about it. We also ordered pierogi and although they were good, they weren’t worth the price, 17€ for 7 pierogi. We didn’t know the price when we ordered because this dish wasn’t on the menu. If we knew the price, we would’ve ordered another zapiekanki instead, they are worth their prices. Their cake selection looks very interesting, would like to come back to try :)

l love sitting somewhere, watching people as I have something to eat. This place is perfect for that, You sit outside on one of the benches as you watch people walk past eating one of their sandwiches and relaxing The people who work here were very kind and it made me immediatly felt at home! I added a photo of what I ate 5 minutes before I finished it.

honestly one of the best places in Amsterdam! Zapiekanki were so delicious I’m honestly gonna be dreaming of them. Big shout out to girls working there because it is really impressive what and how much you’re doing! everything is very delicious, the service is smiling and giving their best possible even tho it is extra busy. Kazik is an absolutely charming place with an amazing atmosphere. The pumpkin spice latte had a wonderfully subtle and perfectly balanced pumpkin flavor—the best I’ve ever had! The pierogi were clearly homemade, with a fresh and authentic taste. The zapiekanka was impressive both in size and flavor—the combination of ingredients was spot on. And the cake… well, I might sound repetitive, but it was truly delicious. The service is one of a kind, warm and professional. There’s no doubt we’ll be back for more!

We had the “İ Love Monday’s” sandwich, and it was delicious. The place was very cute, and they were playing nice music. The person who prepared and served the food was very friendly and smiling.

You must visit this place if you are in Amsterdam. First time visited it in 2022. After the re-visit in 2024 I can definitely say that it is one of the best places to eat in the city. Prices are incredibly cheap. The sandwiches are excellent and you can taste each ingredient that they use ( and they are really fresh by the way). They also good really good traditional drinks ( chai, Polish beer etc) and very cool ice orange macha. Definitely 10/10.

Lovely place with great polish food. The pierogis were especially good though pricey. Unfortunately the service wasn’t as good: dishes took a really long time to be served, even our drinks took more than 30 minutes to arrive. Tables weren’t cleaned in between guests and outdoor tables were particularly uncomfortable to eat on.

One of my favourite places to have breakfast: an awesome big omelette with smoked sausages and good coffee. Zapiekanki are also great, I totally can recommend.

The meal was delicious. I ordered the cheese tomato spinach egg roll, which was like a pizza but stuffed with mushrooms. It was grilled like a pizza but sprinkled with chives and tomato sauce. It was crispy with rich texture and layers, apple radish. Juice, iced latte, the store decoration is full of vitality, although it is small but full of customers, the service attitude is very friendly, making people feel happy, it is really a five-star experience.

Went there on Saturday afternoon. Bustling with people and luckily i got seat outdoor. Midway, my friend and i decided to move inside. The whole process was simple and servers were attentive! Great service. Food was bomb! You gotta try their Pieroggi 🔥 amazing filling and great dough. The sauce was matching well with the pieroggi. Then we got meat lovers, the sausage was juicy! Cheese and bread crispiness texture made the whole eating experience unforgettable. Not to mention the Ube and Grandma Cakes. Recommend!

Delicious cinnamon buns in two styles. 1. (Top) more typical Nordic style. Not too sweet. Flavour - good amount of cinnamon and a nice glaze. Texture - lots of layers which kept the moisture inside, more of a bread texture. 1. (Bottom) not overly sweet even with the cream topping. Flavour - bun itself was delicious and good cinnamon flavour. Topping could do with a bit more icing sugar for sweetness. Texture - thick layers, a more cake/bread feel (my favourite)

Fantastic place! I had some free time on an organized trip so I decided to drop by to eat something. Great employees, delicious and filling casserole... and this cheesecake... oh, what a cheesecake it was. Heaven in mouth. The most delicious cheesecake I have ever eaten.

I like this place a lot for their vegan cakes, but last time the smell of pork sausage was so intense that I decided to leave. The place lacks proper ventilation; it also gets very damp inside.

Most kindest people ever! My sister accidentally ordered a cake, which was not vegan. She went to ask if she could take it to go (with the plan to gift it to a friend we’ll meet tomorrow) but came back with a vegan cake on the house. WOOWWW!! SO KIND!! In general, the food and drinks are amazing. I am visiting the cafe for a few years now and the quality has been consistently superb.

This place is absolutely lovely, it ticks all the boxes for the perfect breakfast/brunch spot. It's small and therefore had not many seatkng spots, but that makes it super cozy. Try the polish scumbled eggs with mountain cheese...it's amazing!
