I've been here very often. EVERYTHING is delicious. I definitely recommend trying the cakes! It's cozy inside, and sitting outside when the weather is nice is also great because it's located in a busy neighborhood.

They weren't kidding about the huge serving for the xxl on the menu, just barely managed to finish it. The baguette was fresh and the thing beansprouts were a great addition, the inside was filled with mozzarella and three jumbo sausage were also included as well though I have to say it's a little too dry. Ice latte was also good, zero complaints about that.

We went today and absolutely loved it. We had the vegan option and it was so tasty. Staff were lovely and coffee was great. 100% recommend

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. The vegan Garsonka was absolutely delicious and unique. So excited to see something vegan on the menu like this! We ordered a large one for 3 of us, plus an omelette and that was more than enough food. We found a cute table at the window (it’s pretty small, so felt lucky). The staff was absolutely lovely.

Delicious coffee and the best cakes we've ever had! The cheesecake was so creamy and the lemon cake was divine. The rather high prices are definitely worth it. The interior is very cozy, and despite its location on the main road, there's also a lovely place to sit outside.

Kasia's Favorite casserole is a real winner!! And the girls who work there are amazing. So grateful for this place in Amsterdam🫶🏻

A surprising Polish spot on the Amsterdam map. The warm cinnamon roll is the best in the world. The coffee is fantastic. If you're feeling fancy, you can also try pierogi and various casseroles. Served in porcelain from Bolesławiec 😁 A nice change from the repetitive offerings of other places in the area. I recommend it!

One of my favourite restaurants in Amsterdam! I love Polish food and they cook it veeeery good. Zapekanki are amazing, cakes are fantastic. The interior is very cute and tableware is “grandma-style”. I love they have enough of vegetarian options and extended drinks menu at any taste. I always have great experience here and always come back. Highly recommended!

A great place. The pierogi are quite large, but you have to wait about 15 minutes for them. The pierogi menu isn't on the menu; there's a "specials" menu at the counter. The pierogi are very tasty. The place is quite small, so it's sometimes hard to find a seat inside, but there are also tables outside. The sweet pastries are delicious.

It reminded me of a childhood taste... I haven't had a casserole like this in over 20 years! And they also have caramel cheesecake 😋 Go there for lunch and you won't be disappointed 😍

Matcha was absolutely terrible. Ended up getting a raspberry lemonade and a slice of cheese cake. Cheese cake did not taste very good and had a grainy rough consistency. Lemonade was ok but did not make up for the rest of the experience. This was one of the first times we left establishment without finishing a drink that we paid for.

I came here for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. They make such good casseroles 🥪 🥪 and matcha 🍵 🍵. The service was friendly and very pleasant, the lady explained everything in her native language. The casseroles are fresh, made with high-quality ingredients, with a distinctive flavor, the strawberry and mango matcha flavors are perfectly vibrant, and the fresh matcha is perfectly balanced. Overall, 10/10! I'll definitely be back! 😀

The food was great, but the service wasn't. 😞 I waited an hour for a casserole, supposedly due to a power outage, but no one informed me. They only noticed me after I cursed because I'd lost my patience (swearing is forbidden there). It was the Polish culinary embassy in Amsterdam. It's just another lunch spot for expats, what a shame.

Good brunch place. Tasty food. Intense flavours. I ordered a small orange juice, a flat white and the Polish scrammble eggs with Polish sausage. Unfortunately, they forgot to serve the extra sausage, so I could not taste it. The coffee was good, it was frothy and had a pleasant flavour. The juice was delicious. The scrambled eggs were amazing; being mixed with different vegetables and tomatoes enhanced the flavour and taste. I really enjoyed it. The waitresses were friendly.

I was very disappointed today with the quality of the products sold here. I tried the classic and smoked cheese casseroles twice. They were simply tasteless to me. Of course, I understand that this may be a matter of taste, or maybe I just know what a homemade, high-quality casserole with good cheese tastes like. Unfortunately, today's experience was completely disappointing. I bought 10 doughnuts, which – in my opinion – were of very low quality. I sometimes buy much better doughnuts for €2.50 at a Polish store in Rotterdam, and the difference in quality is really noticeable. The rose filling was more like raspberry than rose. The pistachio doughnut looked attractive on the outside, but the cream inside had virtually no pistachio flavor. The dough wasn't fresh – judging by the appearance and texture, I have the impression that the doughnuts could have been over 24 hours old. They were simply dry. The friendly service and the very pleasant atmosphere are also a plus. Unfortunately, I don't plan on returning. The cheesecake was also average.

Lovely little place. In the weekend you can get great dumplings. It can be crowded and the waiting times can be quite long. So don't come here if you're in a rush.

The sandwiches are very good and tasty, but they are really not worth the waiting time. It took almost 50 minutes to get one Meat Lover. I understand that it can be busy (there were only 12 people inside), and there were four people working. What really annoyed me is that other people who came after us, either for takeaway or who sat down after us, received their sandwiches before us. Of course, we had to ask three times, and the answer was always the same: “five minutes.” Meanwhile, other people were getting their sandwiches.

Cute and authentic cafe with many great vegan options, including scrambled tofu, yoghurt, banana bread, and sandwiches. MUST try the vegan garsonka, it is the best thing on the menu, vegan or not❤️

I don't recommend it, it's definitely not worth it. It's expensive, the food is average, and you can only speak Polish, and that's about it. There are plenty of other interesting places in Amsterdam where you can eat well. P.S. Kasia, please don't forget to respond to the comment, as you usually do with negative ones 😅 I recommend keeping quiet and improving it if you care about positive reviews.

A heartfull piece of Krakow in the center of Amsterdam. A Zapiekanka is a must!

One of the best experiences I've ever had! The baguette is a must-try; it's crispy and filled with cheese and olives 🫠. The omelet is amazing. The coffee is perfect, and so is the tea. Highly recommended! The owner is so sweet! We wish you all the best for your next location 💚. The tea is so good, you get a bucket, not just one cup! The coffee is perfectly balanced—not too strong, not too sour 👌🏼. The baguette is even better than the ones in Paris! They put in a generous amount of olives, cherry tomatoes, mozzarella, and feta. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside—it won't hurt your teeth 🤭. The egg omelet is excellent! I baked it and it had spinach and tomatoes in it! The feta has no aftertaste. Absolutely delicious!

The pierogi were amazing and I really liked the coffee and cake too! I was happy they still served food after 4pm and had lots of space, also sockets. I wanna come back to try the breakfast though! Sadly it was very cold inside and I didn’t see the price for the pierogi written down so the total was more than I anticipated.

First, but definitely not my last, time eating at Kazik. If you go, I pray it’s on a day where Tosia is working, so you can experience her life defying Garzonka (with additional smoked tofu). I cried after the first bite.

The food is delicious and the waitresses are very kind. It’s a small place and when we went you had to wait for a long time before you could seat down (and then wait for the food). They seemed to be short staffed as there were only 3 people doing everything and nobody was able to manage the tables when they became available. But, again, the food was so good that it was worth the wait

Zapiekanka was amazing, coffee also good but service is so slow. We waited 20min for a coffee… Local is so tiny, lots of space is taken by a ‘decoration’ which makes this place look messy and overcrowded. Not recommended for a family breakfast as there is literally no space to sit with kids and enjoy the food. I left really dissapointed! And pierogi you can eat only on the weekends, there is no information about it. Also very pricey.

Absolutely fantastic, I walked with my meat lovers zapiekanka through Amsterdam and everyone was asking what It Is, looks and smells amazing, not to mention the delicious taste.

Kazik Amsterdam. Where to start? Now, this one was a real surprise. It’s my first time ever to a polish cafe or even polish breakfast / brunch. Limited number of tables, very cosy…it did have plenty of outdoor seating. It seemed like a really popular place. However the food was DELICIOUS. The waitress was lovely and welcoming. It was a HIT!! Had a few capucinnos, banana bread, polish scrambled eggs & the Spanish & spicy.

One of the absolute best cappuccinos in Amsterdam. The service feels personal, with the café's spirit rooted in high-quality and rustic attitudes. I love the eclectic mix of charming cups and saucers.

What a treat this restaurant is. If you're looking for a quick bite to eat that feels like home this is the place to stop. It's a small little cafe that we purchased a Polish sandwich that had sauerkraut, pickles and sausage on a roll. It was such a surprisely delicious bite to eat and I highly recommend it.
