The pierogi were amazing and I really liked the coffee and cake too! I was happy they still served food after 4pm and had lots of space, also sockets. I wanna come back to try the breakfast though! Sadly it was very cold inside and I didn’t see the price for the pierogi written down so the total was more than I anticipated.

It was a really nice stay! Fresh made food that tasted so good 🥰 Highly recommended!

First, but definitely not my last, time eating at Kazik. If you go, I pray it’s on a day where Tosia is working, so you can experience her life defying Garzonka (with additional smoked tofu). I cried after the first bite.

We visited on Sunday. It was crowded, but the service was efficient and friendly. We had a casserole and pierogi. Everything was delicious; we'll definitely be back.

Broke up with a situationship here. The sandwich was so good, I could barely focus in the argument we were having. Every moment she was talking I would just grab a bite. It made everything a bit less awful I guess. Thank you guys and sorry for the arguing in Spanish 😭😇

Very tasty Polish food. The place is small, but the staff manages to accommodate everyone.

The food is delicious and the waitresses are very kind. It’s a small place and when we went you had to wait for a long time before you could seat down (and then wait for the food). They seemed to be short staffed as there were only 3 people doing everything and nobody was able to manage the tables when they became available. But, again, the food was so good that it was worth the wait

Zapiekanka was amazing, coffee also good but service is so slow. We waited 20min for a coffee… Local is so tiny, lots of space is taken by a ‘decoration’ which makes this place look messy and overcrowded. Not recommended for a family breakfast as there is literally no space to sit with kids and enjoy the food. I left really dissapointed! And pierogi you can eat only on the weekends, there is no information about it. Also very pricey.

Absolutely fantastic, I walked with my meat lovers zapiekanka through Amsterdam and everyone was asking what It Is, looks and smells amazing, not to mention the delicious taste.

Kazik Amsterdam. Where to start? Now, this one was a real surprise. It’s my first time ever to a polish cafe or even polish breakfast / brunch. Limited number of tables, very cosy…it did have plenty of outdoor seating. It seemed like a really popular place. However the food was DELICIOUS. The waitress was lovely and welcoming. It was a HIT!! Had a few capucinnos, banana bread, polish scrambled eggs & the Spanish & spicy.

One of the absolute best cappuccinos in Amsterdam. The service feels personal, with the café's spirit rooted in high-quality and rustic attitudes. I love the eclectic mix of charming cups and saucers.

What a treat this restaurant is. If you're looking for a quick bite to eat that feels like home this is the place to stop. It's a small little cafe that we purchased a Polish sandwich that had sauerkraut, pickles and sausage on a roll. It was such a surprisely delicious bite to eat and I highly recommend it. The place is pretty popular with the locals and the atmosphere is awesome. The staff was incredibly friendly ... Five star place.

Great place with delicious zapieksi and cheesecake that literally melted in your mouth! I also got an iced coffee, it's just perfect there, Polish music is playing and the girls behind the bar are great. I recommend it to everyone!!!

Wait time for zapiekanka simply outrageous - 25 mins. It’s meant to be a streetfood from order to hands pretty fast. Zapiekanka was really 3/10, everything ruined by overbaked baguette that was hard. The size was also very very small.

A wonderful place. Pierogi ruskie (Russian dumplings) are just like grandma's. We were there yesterday, and today (out of greed) I was hoping to buy a few more to go. 😅 They weren't there at the time, but the zapiekankas (cafes) are just as great. The liqueurs are excellent; they're not some frosted junk from Polish stores. The owner is also a fantastic woman, hospitable and very pleasant. It's a shame that this is one of the few places where the product is of high quality and the people who run this place are on point! Congratulations and I hope they open a branch soon. 😅♥️

It was my first time there, and I've lived near Amsterdam for almost 14 years. I finally made it to Kazik's. I had the traditional zapiekanka and mint tea. The zapiekanka was delicious! I watched others order other zapiekankas, because there are a few items, and I'll try them too... everyone raved about them. I recommend this small, intimate little restaurant!!! 🌎🌏🌍. WE WERE THE SECOND TIME, AWESOME! The zapiekanka was standard, the second with oscypek cheese 😋😋😋, the third with Polish sausage and sides 😋😋😋😋😋 amazing, delicious. The lemonades are delicious on hot days. I RECOMMEND IT AGAIN, FOR THE SECOND TIME. Really, really good. 🤩😋🌎🌍🌏

Great traditional polish 'fast food' in several flavor variations + delicious homemade lemonade. I will recommend it to my friends and come back there myself. Worth every penny.

What a gem! We found this place while looking for something for lunch and it did not disappoint. The staff is super friendly and thoughtful! The owner asked if she could make a picture of our food because it looked cute. And honestly, she was right ☺️ We had the summer special and I would highly recommend.

Service took a bit long, but on a relaxed Saturday there's no need for a rush. I had a cappucino with regular milk, which was very tasty!

Really cozy breakfast place, where there is a high emphasis on the cozy decor and atmosphere. The food is included, but it was a bit undersalted, which is a matter of taste. Definitely good ingredients and nice visual expression on the plates:) All in all, a good place, and the price is okay.

The heart of Polish food in Amsterdam. Pierogi have simply knocked it out of the park for me. I came in quite early and I get to see the woman that made them. So fresh and wholesome. Such a lovely place. Feels like a center for a Polish community. Will be coming back 100%. The service was super fast too

The breakfast was tasty but a bit on the expensive side. The service is slower and it took forever to pay. If you are wanting a nice vibe and to stay a while it is great place but not for a quick takeout.

Oh my god. Came in here just looking for a coffee and maybe a toast or sandwich, but found a haven of modern Polish cuisine beyond anything of what I was looking for. Couldn’t stop eating. Must-try place for anybody looking for amazing food and delicious coffee.

It truly is a Polish living room in the center of Amsterdam! If you don’t believe me, go and check out the pieróg (dumpling) shaped throw pillow or the post-socialist cabinet where they keep cups and glasses. I usually go on the weekend and it’s packed every time. So impressed with the team working there for holding down the fort, can’t be easy! I’ve tried zapiekanki (the oven-baked sandwiches) but pierogi (Polish dumplings) served on the weekend stole my heart. Not only are they my favorite kind, they are made to perfection. Texture, temperature, flavor, presentation - 10/10, no notes. Different people might have different preferences but to me they’re perfect. I also managed to get my hands on a freshly made jagodzianka (wild blueberry bun) that’s only available around July, when these blueberries are in season. I’ve had many in the past but this one was incredible, the amount of blueberries inside and the fruit to dough ratio is great. You can check for availability on their instagram stories, there might be a couple more days left to try them if you’re in Amsterdam. Overall in love with the food, service and atmosphere. Will definitely come back!

The hotdog quality could improve quite a lot. Nice dumplings but the skin could get crispier in my opinion to go with the yogurt beneath

Incredible place, bringing the vibes of the cutest Krakow (specifically Kazimierz) cafés to Amsterdam. The food is great (pierogi and zapiekanki), cakes are great (cheesecake and cookies), drinks are great (the iced coffees and the matchas), staff is sweet and attentive. My only wish is the place would be bigger so it's possible for bigger groups to visit and that it's closer to my house :)

Kazik in Amsterdam is like stepping straight into Poland, everything from the vibe to the flavors is spot on. The zapiekanka is exactly how it should be: crispy, cheesy, packed with flavor, and totally nostalgic if you know the real deal. It’s comfort food done right, and honestly, probably the best zapiekanka you’ll find outside of Poland. Whether you’re Polish or just a fan of great street food, Kazik is a must-visit. Authentic, satisfying, and full of heart.

The doughnuts are amazing, filled with a lot of filling ;) The service is very nice, everything is very efficient despite the high traffic. The atmosphere is very nice. Delicious! The cakes are fantastic, the open toast baguettes (zapiekanki) are to die for, just make sure you get half, unless you want to have a whole baguette haha. There is a wide range of yummy jams and syrups etc to take home. The egg dishes are generous and full of yummy toppings. The tea and coffee are excellent. It's cozy inside and the staff is nice. A Polish place that is hipster enough to appeal to anyone, yet cozy and homey with comfy furniture to make you feel welcome to stay and enjoy your food. You can tell I have been coming a lot. Love it!

I recommend it! The oscypek casserole is delicious. The paczek was warmed up before serving - that's a plus, lots of raspberry filling :)

Kazik has an amazing vibe, typical Polish hospitality (with a good pinch of wit). Worth visiting and worth waiting for a table, while it's important to remember zapiekanka is a fast food to be eaten on the go. Tip jar is a direct offence to people from Krakow 😉 Kasia, you're doing it right! Congratulations!

We went to Kazik on King’s Day and loved it. We ordered two coffees and sat in the sun, enjoying the festive atmosphere. Then we tried the zapiekanki, a kind of open baguette baked with a base of homemade mushrooms, Gouda and mozzarella: simply spectacular. One had smoked cheese and jam, the other had sausages, pickles, crispy onion and mustard. Original flavors, perfect combination. All delicious and with very good vibes. To return!

we had to wait for 1.5hrs to get the food on Sunday, in the end half of the nice sunny day is wasted because of the very slow service and complete chaos at the kitchen food is ok but doesn’t worth it, never again!

This is a unique place. You might wait over 60 minutes just for a simple sandwich. Yes, the food here is tasty, but the space is very cramped and the wait is extremely long. Right before us, the owner arrived with a group of friends or family — I’m not sure which. She went behind the counter and processed their order herself. Their order was quite large, including several takeaway items, and it seemed like no other orders could be prepared at the same time. About 15 minutes after placing their order, they started receiving their food - dish after dish - while the rest of us, regular customers, kept waiting for over an hour, even though we had arrived earlier too. It’s a very strange concept: the owner walks into her own restaurant, sees that it’s packed with customers, and still decides to prioritize feeding her close ones. It felt more like someone cooking in their personal kitchen than running a public place where people come to eat. So, if you have plenty of time and you’re not too hungry, I definitely recommend this place.

Absolutely amazing pierogis and delicious drinks!

It is very nice, but it is very small, they only have 3 tables so I had to eat in an armchair, it was not very comfortable, if it is for a coffee with a pastry it is perfect, but for lunch/breakfast there is this factor. The food was very delicious, their Zapiekanka are delicious!!

Friendly people and very warm atmosphere :) Very happy we found this small cafe. We enjoy the sandwich with smoked Polish cheese with cranberry compote which tasted amazing.

Very nice Polish food, unfortunately it takes too long to get your order. We ordered a sandwich and the soup and it took 60 minutes to get them.
