Furious! They make you wait an hour and 45 minutes for your food, and when you call... They don't have delivery drivers, you have to pick it up! Don't you have any decency? Can't you just call your customers and explain the problem?! 🤮

I advise everyone against ordering food from here. The fries were incredibly soft and undercooked, and they had no salt. The chicken tenders weren't even warm, and they tasted strongly of dry chicken breast.

The location is great, only a shame you can almost drink your chicken. Unusual old grease!

The longest possible wait for the order

Only thing is... It's not possible to change the sauce on the wraps... I think it's a missed chance. Other then that, the food was good!

It's truly incomprehensible what's happening here. How can this branch even still be open? The average wait time is 20 to 45 minutes after ordering. The floor is sticky, the elevator is broken, the trash bins are overflowing, and not a single table is clean. If your order is incomplete, you have to wait another 10 minutes at the counter until someone is willing to help you, because you're completely ignored. The fries are lukewarm to almost cold, but is there even a point in reporting that? No, because there doesn't seem to be a word of Dutch spoken. As a branch manager at another company, I can't understand how this is possible. My regional manager would have fired me on my first day if my branch looked like this. Is there even a supervisor here? It feels like some people were hired through temp agencies with no experience or training. And yet there are (returning?) customers—I don't understand it, because I'll never come back. Maybe it's a good idea to do an internship at the McDonald's next door; things almost always go well there, while things almost always go wrong at KFC. If things do go well there, buy a lottery ticket right away. The only positive thing was the Crispy Tenders.

Delicious food and ready quickly + friendly staff

Table sign 109 is in the right trash can near the elevator on the first floor. Your dark-pigmented employee with the cap and headscarf carefully threw it in the trash can after completely ignoring us at the table.

Waited 20 minutes for 2 small burgers that were made incorrectly. There should have been 2 tenders per burger, but 2 were for 2 burgers.

I had a delicious chicken meal and the staff was very friendly, the price-quality ratio is of course very good

I just ordered a bucket here for about €12, and apparently, instead of the bucket these days, you just get a small bag of chicken the size of my hand. For €12. I took it to the counter, and she angrily emptied the bag into a bucket and gave me the bucket with a little chicken in the bottom. It was cold by now.

Worst KFC ever… everything goes wrong with the order processing. Complete chaos. A partially disabled queue system. No one at the counter because they're happy to take out one order every 10 minutes. A 4-minute wait becomes a 30-minute pickup, and we're still lucky to get two chicken legs and two juices. No one's running the place; total anarchy. Note: Of course, management responds with a standard refrain that they're sorry. This is their standard reflex. But why doesn't anyone do anything about this, or worse, fix it? Just see what we see as a group of waiting and sulking customers when you have to witness this and no one can tell where your order is. See all the reviews. KFC is a terribly mismanaged company that simply doesn't fix things, but stands by and watches the whole KFC concept fall flat. Will KFC HQ ever come and see this and lose any sleep over it? You still see this in so many other reviews of the same location. KFC apparently doesn't care. Tip: Go to the butcher for warm chicken legs. You can get them warm within 5 minutes, and people are still happy to have you as a customer.

Unfortunately, the staff doesn't seem to want to work. No smiles, no interest. Table service is nonexistent. Order and pick up... It's a disaster. After fifteen minutes, I received cold food. I don't recommend it.

Actually a large and clean branch compared to others in the city center, lots of seats and tables, children's play area, food was ready pretty quickly despite a large order for 5 people, enough parking spaces, easy to reach

I felt a little intimidated, if you know what I mean, but I kind of like it. It's a shame there wasn't any watermelon or Koolaid, and where was LeBron James? Oh yeah, and I expected your restroom to be cleaner; it was just as brown as the customers here.

Ordering at the kiosk, and table service was available on the screen, but the staff didn't offer this. Only waiting at the counter if you ate inside. Once ordered, I had to wait 30 minutes for a simple, medium-sized menu. Except for one person (who spoke English), the staff were very reluctant to work there. After waiting 30 minutes, my order was also wrong. The entire floor was sticky, and many tables were either not cleaned or not cleaned properly. The food was okay, but sloppily prepared compared to other KFCs. This is a place I'll avoid next time.

One of the dirtiest KFCs I've ever been to. The restroom smelled terrible and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in days. I ordered takeout, and the fries were lukewarm (a good portion, though). The staff are incredibly rude. I don't expect much from fast food staff, but these were downright rude and didn't speak Dutch. The wings were okay, but not quite cooked through, and the wrap was really poorly made (it fell apart). I'm grateful I used the app and got a discount, but otherwise I would have felt truly robbed.

The chicken pieces are as big as the wings. Terrible. The people who work there are friendly.

You're stuck to the floor. The food isn't hot. There's no clean table to be found. It's a real waste of money, really, because the food isn't very good either. The music in the restroom is so loud that you can't hear anyone peeing next to you. That's a nice bonus, but you do risk hearing damage with a large bowel movement.

I thought a to-go order would take less time, but I waited over an hour in the restaurant! That's crazy! 20 minutes, 30 minutes, okay, but more than an hour, no. Very bad.

What a disaster. Ordered and couldn't get table service. Probably not enough staff. Probably not even to operate the order screen, which had endless amounts of information on it and wasn't being updated. Probably not even to clean the restrooms, or to clean in general. Probably not even to empty the trash, take orders, or speak politely to customers in Dutch. Probably not... Probably no customers will come back... Probably? I'm pretty sure.

Terribly understaffed, we had to wait over 20 minutes. The chicken was cold, and everything was dirty... The toilet was very dirty... First and last time, very disappointing...

What a culinary experience… if you ever want to know what cardboard tastes like, order the chicken here. Dry, tasteless, and so tough I almost thought chewing it through was a fitness exercise. The wait time? Perfect if you'd like to celebrate your retirement here before your order is finally ready. And the hygiene… well, let's just say the scene in the kitchen was so filthy that even a garbage dump looks decent in comparison. In short: the only reason to come back here is to check if it really was that bad, but trust me—you don't have to risk it.

What a disgusting mess here. Upstairs, everything is on the table, and the floor is filthy. The staff comes upstairs and walks away. The food was cold, and three people are making one burger. And then another 20-minute wait for an order... One thing's for sure: we won't be back.

I've been here three times now and will never go back. The wait time is enormous, and fries have to be requested. I once waited 30 minutes and then it turned out I didn't get what I wanted. I went back and waited another 30 minutes for the same food. The food looked like someone had taken it out of a school bag. I've never had bigger problems at other KFCs, but here—absurd.

Today we decided to see if they had better service here than in Alkmaar. They didn't. After ordering, we walked upstairs for the view. But there were only two tables on that floor that weren't really dirty. Then we had to wait a long time for our food. The crispy tenders were far from crispy. And the fries had apparently been waiting for the burger to warm up, because they were very cold. We're usually used to finishing our plates, but we all have reservations about this. It's just not tasty. And therefore WAY too expensive. We won't be going back here again; there's no sign of any enthusiasm among the staff. I'm surprised they've been there a while, but with this experience in mind, I don't think many people will be coming back often.

I actually thought it was quite dirty. The floors were sticky, and the glass wall along the stairs was absolutely filthy. I didn't dare touch anything there. My daughter enjoyed her meal, but I didn't like it at all. I'm a vegetarian, and the veggie burger wasn't good. It was very quiet, but I had to wait a long time for my food.

Absolutely disgusting! Sticky tables! Sticky floors! And it's become self-service there now. They're too lazy to bring it to your table these days. And then you pay €40 for it! Ridiculous!

The dirtiest KFC ever. What a disgrace. Overflowing trash bins, trash on the floor, and every table covered in dirty trays and trash. No employee cleaned up; it seemed like the staff didn't care at all. It was like walking into a dump to eat. How dare you treat customers this way? This is unsanitary, unprofessional, and completely disrespectful. KFC Amersfoort, you should be deeply ashamed of yourselves. One thing is for sure: I'm never coming back here.

Waited half an hour for the order while there were only 2 people in front of us who both had a small order.

Food was just fine, nothing special just KFC But the staff was really unfriendly and bad. With all orders they forgot something and they were also unfriendly. At a busy time really don't go here, at a quiet time they are fine.

Fast and good service, fresh hot chicken

What a sad affair, about 15 minutes in the drive. Car in front of me got the wrong order was apparently mine..... ice melted, chicken lukewarm and limp. Disinterested staff. Really worthless establishment. And then I read in old reviews that they want to give their customers the best experience but didn't change anything.... I regularly make a quick stop at a fast food restaurant on my way there. I'm used to quite a lot, but this is truly bizarre. Everything in the restaurant is filthy. There's old food strewn across the floor, already bruised with mold. The restroom is incredibly disgusting, all the tables are sticky, and even the floor is sticky in many places. The banister is too disgusting to touch, and the children's play area hasn't even been cleaned. The food was decent, but not the quality I'd normally expect. Anyway, the tone was already set with all the filth. In short, unbelievable! I will never stop here again. It was very quiet (just three customers), but I still waited half an hour, and the staff just hung around looking disinterested. As a manager, I would have given them all a kick in the ass and put them back to work. If you're the store manager here, you should be ashamed of yourself.

What a mess and havoc at KFC on the pig market: nothing is cleaned up and the trash bin is overflowing. A waste of the beautiful historic city center.

The place is very dirty. You can't eat at a clean table, even though there's absolutely nothing going on. The taste was subpar. I won't be coming back.

The chicken was limp and soggy, the tables outside were dirty and sticky, the toilet smelled strongly of urine and was not clean and they were out of hand soap. The fries were ok though.

Every time something goes wrong. Now I order zinger burger and without notice no tomato. I checked after and they were out of tomato. Please inform customers before hand. I am just very disappointed for every time I go here. Last time for me. Update: 6 months later I try again, ordered a Korean stacker menu, got a normal stacker burger and no ice in my drink. How is this restaurant still this bad?

Never go there again. Slow service, many orders went wrong, dirty toilets etc. Staff shortage is really bad here.

We came on Ascension Day, a busy day and this was clearly reflected in the service and food. A lot went wrong with the order, burgers forgotten, drinks exchanged etc. The food was also clearly not fresh, bread was stiff and tough. You had to search for the chicken on your sandwich and the small amount of lettuce we got was very wilted. A disappointment for us because we had mainly positive experiences at other KFC locations. The elevator was broken when we were there, so we could not go up with a car and therefore had to wait longer for a seat. The staff was clearly tense here, and reacted rudely to questions or solutions. In the end it worked out well, but for us it was a "once and never again" experience.

Should have ordered without tomato, 1 pitiful slice. + everywhere on the advertisements you can still see that the chicken salon is there, I arrive to order "we don't have that anymore", okay why do you still advertise then?

We had just been in drive, the young man that was at window 1 can't talk very well, we can't get him to the window at all, so we went to the window, we can't finish the order there because he said we've passed, we can't order anything anymore because he says there are still 4 cars behind us and it's so busy and we have to do another round, I'm a manager at Mc and I never had that situation with my crew, really bad service and they were just with 6 people and nothing they could do about it

Our order was ready pretty quickly but it wasn't really warm. Burgers were reasonably warm but we sent the fries back. We then got fresh warm fries, still a 3 star rating because it wasn't quite right.

Order placed within... Not busy, came in as the 3rd customer. Had to wait 45 minutes for a simple menu. This is then called 'fast food'. People who came in later and had ordered wondered why nothing was over the counter and it became fuller with people waiting. Perhaps the drive-through went faster because bags were regularly thrown through the window. Of course, the staff can't do anything about it, even though it all happened at snail speed, but the supervisors may not know the strategy of a fast-food restaurant.

Tasty food, quick preparation, beautiful atmosphere

The KFC can be reached quickly, 2 minutes off the highway. The store is located on a large site with several stores such as McDonalds, Subway and Shabu Shabu. Definitely recommended

After a very long wait, I received my order and once I got home to the share side of Amersfoort, the order turned out to be incomplete. Called KFC De Wieken to report this, when she heard it was a complaint, they hung up and were no longer answered. I decided to drive there because the treatment on the phone made me angry. Once there I asked for the person who unceremoniously hung up the phone, then the manager came, a Ukrainian or Polish woman with bright red lipstick on, she simply told me that she had no time for complaints and that from now on I must first check my order at the delivery window myself, otherwise they are not responsible for it. So the children's evening was ruined and they ate a cheese sandwich and went to bed. I don't mind, but this was about my kids which really pissed me off and the staff's reaction made me even angrier. I didn't hear any form of apology, of admitting a mistake and also of blaming the fact that checking is my job... I won't be eating there again anytime soon.

Did you ever go to a KFC and they didn't have any chicken (apart from some hotwings)? Last Monday 7 April this was the case. No information, no warning, no explanation whatsoever. We only figured out when we started ordering. Me and my colleagues were very very disappointed and just left.

I had ordered online in advance. After about 30 minutes I went to ask where my food was. After a few minutes I was told that I should have reported. This is not stated when you have ordered. It actually said that it would be ready within 5 minutes.... The order was also on the screen in the store. Staff generally speaks Turkish to each other. At one point I was wondering if I had stopped at the right KFC. Perhaps you can at least speak English to each other so that the rest also knows what is so funny. The food was lukewarm. I got the burgers who had been looking at me for 30 minutes. This is my worst experience at a KFC.

Ate here after we canceled our order in Apeldoorn after a 40 minute wait. Helped quickly and had a good meal. Service excellent here unlike Apeldoorn. If you pay peanuts you'll get monkeys, as we say in good Dutch.

We ordered via home delivery, and it arrived missing 2 burgers and 6 hot wings. Then we called KFC itself and they treated us very rudely and they just hung up. And we took a bite of our chicken and it was completely pink inside.

Usually the food is fine. Unfortunately, the last few times it seemed as if the order had been completed very quickly. The boneless meal was bland and missing side dishes. The zingerstacker burger was also limp and cold. Unfortunately the same thing happened at the restaurant itself, the chicken was limp and barely breaded. Edit: Got the wrong order twice in the drive through. No one was really willing to fix the mistake. After almost half an hour of trying to get the food we ordered, we gave up.
