I actually love KFC. I'm only giving it two stars because of the personal touch. I desperately needed the restroom and didn't realize you need a coin if you're ordering food. So I went to the counter and asked for change, and they gave me a strange look. Instead of quickly giving me change, I felt like I had to wait another half minute, even though I really needed to go. And when ordering food, the service was incredibly rude. We were shocked because we'd never experienced anything like it.

I ordered food from KFC, but it was the second time my order was wrong. I ordered a juice, but that was wrong too. It was really bad; I'm very disappointed.

i was a KFC lover until i have been here. Worst food ever got from KFC (visiten many KFC in many country ) 1 euro for toilet acces, but you can do it under table, is so dirty that nobody will notice. I dont blame the people working there, the problem is the owner. But as they closed all KFC in Danmark, will not be a surprise to close also this one. Never KFC again!

I don't like these kinds of restaurants, but I went in with my son anyway. It was a disappointment and a waste of money. Nothing wrong with the staff, just not my thing.

I just got home from the first one on Swindenstraat with completely different food than what was on my receipt, such a shame! Because I was especially craving spicy wings, and now I had way too many fries, orange juice, cola, and strange chicken nuggets!! And I didn't leave without checking my order number!!!! If I order again, I'm going to open the bag first! SUCH A PITY! Have a nice evening, hard workers!

It's incredibly crowded there. Not friendly or welcoming at all. Apparently, making the food hot is too much to ask. Just avoid it and get a chicken at the Febo store down the road.

Worst KFC experience I’ve ever had. The fries are always soggy and the chicken cold and rubbery. They get the sauces wrong 7 times out of 10. Recently, they even gave me a sauce that had expired in 2024. When I went back to exchange it, the staff member acted annoyed.

The restaurant is absolutely filthy! Besides, it's truly bizarre that, in a restaurant where you primarily eat with your hands, there's no way to clean your hands. No wet wipes, no sink, and the restroom is only accessible with a euro coin, even for guests.

This is my first time in such a dirty KFC! We waited for food like in a restaurant for 25-30 minutes, the tables were dirty, the floor was a mess!

Huge holes in the sofa. During dinner, there was a loud bang, and a tabletop nearly fell on a child. The staff had made the wrong order, which meant the wait was quite long. In short, not a pleasant place to sit down and relax.

The staff at the counter were unwelcoming/friendly. The food was even worse, unfortunately. My order was incomplete; my daughter walked back to report it. The lady said: "Yeah, uh, what are you missing then?" (rolling her eyes). Btw, no manager or anything in sight. The restaurant itself is in need of renovation; it's very outdated, smells unsanitary, and is dirty (sticky floor, broken benches, no one cleans up). The food wasn't fresh or tasty. I'd rather go to Zuidoost or Osdorp, where they know how things are done, the food is fresh and delicious, and the restaurant looks neat. In any case, I won't be coming back!

Extremely rude and grumpy personel, no nice places to sit down. Horrible old toilets that you need to pay for with physical 1 euro coins, even if you are a paying customer. Worst KFC I've ever been and the chicken was still raw.

I don't even know where to begin! Grumpy staff, no salt packets because they hadn't been ordered, the reusable cups were gone, you couldn't pay by card at the counter due to a prolonged outage, the floor was extremely dirty and messy, the floor manager was shouting loudly and aggressively, and when I complained about a drumstick smaller than a wing, I was given a rude mouth. The place also looked like it was undergoing a lengthy renovation. Absolutely the worst KFC restaurant I've ever experienced.

We ordered from this store, and unfortunately, the delivery arrived incomplete. When we tried to call to get a refund, no one answered after five attempts. The food itself was delicious, but the online customer service was lacking. P.S.: The chat service didn't really help either.

The service is terrible. I needed toilet paper and couldn't get any for the bathroom because it wasn't in the dispenser area. The food was also really bad. Don't go there!!!!!

Where to start... You order 3-4 things thet just throw everything down randomly, my fries where waiting 5 minutes on the counter for the rest of the order to finish, then the burger, it too stands there waiting for the next item e.t.c. Obviously everything cold specially the fries. They dont have salt in the place so if you want any flavor in your food better buy some salt from the supermarket before you get here. If you want to wipe your hands after eating finger food with freakin sause on it better bring your own wipes as well because the only thing available in this place is some kind of paper that you pull, you know, like in the toilets, place is filthy and there are flies everywhere. Surreal, distopian...

We waited for over an hour for our food, , the restaurant started to get very full of customers and delivery drivers alike. There was no order with people working behind the counter. The staff wasn't friendly at all. Not just to the customers but to the delivery drivers as well. At one point he just said he's not making their orders any more, I feel sorry for the customers who's orders got cancelled. All in all it wasn't a pleasant experience at all

I made a mistake to order from this location, I placed my order at 22:17 pm (so this was before closing time 23:00) only after over 1 hour (23:25) they sent me a mail cancelling the order, it wasn't a difficult order and there's was enough time to make it, the delivery counter indicated it was 16 minutes away way before closing time. It would've been understandable if I'd order 10 or 20 minutes before closing, not 45, the kitchen was open. At this point I don't know what to say anymore, not even paying not cheap prices you have a decent service, ordering from home was a nice thing to do, now is just a russian roulette and most of the times you get just crap, if they don't like the job they're doing they should change it. And now I'm still starving in the middle of the night but 53 euros lighter, ridiculous

Compliment for KFC Eerste van de Swinderstraat Dear KFC, I would like to compliment the team at the branch on Eerste van de Swinderstraat. Every time I go there, I am helped super friendly. The service is great, the food is always hot and fresh, and the employees are fast and professional. They really deserve a big 10 - or better said: 💯! Keep up the good work, you make every visit worthwhile!

Worst kfc I've ever been to. Very dirty nothing seemed (fresh) fries cold. And the toilet was closed, and there was no table service because the employees were, well, lazy?

The food here is like any KFC, so good. Thing is this place used to have bad personnel, like very terrible to say the least. Bad experiences every time. It seems like recruitment took a step forward though, there is a new guy that is very nice and actually smiles and does not look at you like you are some kind of freak of nature. Give him a raise!!

I thought I was going to get a piece of chicken, but unfortunately I got a cold burger, greasy chicken pieces, no napkins, and this in a place with no atmosphere.

There is always something wrong when I order here! Just an order at 7:31 PM. This time a corn on the cob was missing from my order, last time I got chicken wings while I had ordered Chicken Pieces, before that I had a milkshake with spoiled (sour) milk, and before that an entire chicken item was missing. UberEats doesn't even believe me anymore when I have to report this for the umpteenth time. If you're the manager here, either hire more people or better ones.

The food is good. That lady who helped me, very rude (a woman in front of me already warned me). I ordered two pieces of chicken, leg and breast. I did not receive that upon delivery. I said something about it, I should have done better not. I left it as it is. I don't go there anymore, some people don't know why they work with customers!

Worthless company. Ordered here a few months ago, they had already forgotten a hamburger. Fine, it can happen. But then I tried to call—the phone number didn't work. Now, months later, I ordered again... and yes, another burger was forgotten. And again, phone unreachable. That is no longer a coincidence, that is simply policy. Deliberately no customer service, deliberately not solving anything. As if customers are retarded and will put up with it anyway. And now I can get on my bike again only to be told that I will not get any money back, but 'have to choose something'. Sorry, but I'm ordering food because I want it delivered. Not so that I still have to go out myself. Any other decent company will pick up the phone and sort it out. But you? No sense in that of course. It's 10 euros, yes. Not a world sum, but it's about the principle. No respect for the customer. The least you can do is be accessible. But even that is apparently too much to ask.

If you order from these clowns you can wait a hour and a half for them to just cancel the order bunch or clowns working at this place.

Recently ordered here and after payment it turned out that what I had ordered was gone. I wanted my money back but that was not an option. I had to choose something else or I lost my money. Before I left I went to the toilet and paid 50 cents for it. The door was broken and wouldn't open. When I went to the counter they gave me a coin for an Albert Heijn shopping cart. This allowed me to try again, but again the door would not open. The manager was completely uncooperative and I was unlucky again. Lost my money again!

I went to eat there with my friends in the early evening. Very long service due to an extremely large influx of online orders. Lots of oversights in order preparation. My order could not be found and I had to ask for it again, non-functional electronic board, paid toilets in deplorable condition, dirty tables and overflowing trash cans. The staff started to get annoyed with the delivery people who were demanding their orders at all costs while dozens and dozens of tickets arrived. Reusable plastic glass charged at 1€ excluding we were served in cardboard glasses, so 1€ paid extra for no reason. In addition, the Lipton drink was carbonated even though this was not indicated when ordering. Despite everything, rather friendly staff.

Three very meager heads (one of which is super small), lots of oil. You have to buy sauce for 85 cents. But what is particularly striking is that the staff is very unhappy there. The woman at the counter doesn't even look at you, even when you ask something. Bad thing.

I had to go to the bathroom, my 50 cent coins got stuck in the machine. The employee and manager did not want to give my money back.

What an antisocial woman was behind the counter on Sunday January 26 at 11am. Just shouts in the shop, first steers me away from ordering ice cream from Dr. because it is only cash. Then I order via the desk, she shouts that she has no ice. Then I ask for my money back, she shouts that that is not possible. Fine. Quietly enjoy your €1.25.

Today I went to the KFC on the first van Swindenstraat around 7:30 PM. The employee made an older woman wait more than 20 minutes to place an order. After my order came the fries were cold and limp but my chicken was hot, when I asked for another one the employee ignored me. My aunt also placed an order and received the same cold fries about 10 minutes later. We asked again for fresh fries and if that was not possible, we got our money back, she responded with "I told him (the employee at the back of the kitchen) to fry new ones! After about 5 minutes we got the same COLD FRIES again! At that moment we gave I again stated that I wanted my money back because the service and food were bad. The employee shouted at the employee in the kitchen and said "I did my job and they are not satisfied, just help me" he came forward and grabbed it. prayed orders and placed them walked to the back under the counter and filled up with freshly baked fries, came forward and put it on the counter. When we asked whose order it was, he looked a bit annoyed and opened it to check and if he had to solve this, there could be no apology. The employee also threw orders and rolled up the bags on her stomach as if she were rolling up a towel. I think it is very clever of the branch manager to keep a branch running with mentally handicapped people. Unfortunately this is the closest branch to me. And now after several times I will never order KFC again unless I walk by (somewhere else). Of all the times I have ordered, never has an order been good and complete, every time I paid for extra sauces and never received sauce. Drinking is never right or is not an option 8/10 times. Absolute worst experience I've had in a long time buying food here. I bought 2 original chicken pieces to go and not only were they old, noticeable by the skin being hard and tough, but also instead of getting one chicken leg and a chicken breast I got 2 small chicken legs. Avoid this place at all cost, I am not going to this food chain again.

Possibly the worst place in Amsterdam East to get food. Staff looks miserable, service is bad, food is not good, restaurant is dirty and everything takes a long time.

1 star is too much. Sauce for the salad is missing. The drink is completely spilled and the food is ice cold but the main thing is that you want €8 for delivery and service. Actually you deserve more than a bad review but whatever.

My experience at KFC was incredibly frustrating. Upon entering, I encountered staff who displayed a dismissive attitude, making it clear that customer service was not a priority for them. Unfortunately, the situation only worsened from there. When my food arrived, it was not what I had ordered. I attempted to address the issue, but rather than taking responsibility, the staff shifted the blame onto me. Their condescending demeanor was unacceptable, and to make matters worse, they even threw my food on the counter and spat in it. Overall, this experience was disappointing, and I cannot recommend this to anyone. It should be shut down immediately

Everything is cool but the chicken ain’t crispy

Reusable cup cannot be returned (machine broken or something) so you have to take it with you (they do not give any other option). It's stupid that this isn't reported or something internal is done about it. Now paid extra for a KFC cup. Fries were also cold.

Unfortunetaly i did not have the best experience here. First of all i did not have the option for a throw-away cup, so i was forced to spend an extra euro for the reusable cup. When i asked for extra cheese, which is ssid to be 60 cents, suddenly added 1 euro to my order instead of 60 cents. I also asked for 2 burgers without tomato, yet only 1 of them had no tomatoes. The service is fine, pretty fast cause it wasnt busy, but they did put a tomato on my burger. The atmosphere im not a fan of, its pretty plain and there is a 50% chance you gotta sit next to someone you dont know. The food still tasted pretty okay (except for the tomato) 4/10 experience.

This is honestly the worst KFC ever. Do not order here!! I ordered 2 milkshakes. To my great surprise I received a green Fernandez and a red bull! How on earth do you mix that up hahaha. The chicken was incredibly tough. Nasty. Normally I never write a review but I couldn't pass this up. What people say there.

I ordered via Uber eats here, yesterday the food arrived quickly enough however everything fried smelled very strongly of gasoline or paint. It was very disturbing, as a result we did not touch the food of course. Would not eat here again, better go to another KFC. I also ate here before with no issues.

The people who work there do their best. You see them working very hard. But it's a bit of a mess. And the employees don't look happy anymore. They look quite overworked.

Far too little if you take the savings menu. I can't get enough of it. Otherwise, the meat is prepared differently depending on the branch/country, but is still very tasty for my taste.

I ordered via Uber Eats and the order kept on getting cancelled saying some one else took it but we've still not received anything. I'm not sure who's working behind that counter or if there even is anyone working. WORST EXPERIENCE.

I had to wait 1 hour and there weren't even too many customers. I thought fast food means something else. Burgers were okay, but one of them was completely cold. The KFCs I know in Jamaica, Germany or USA are able to handle way more people with the same amount of employees.
