KFC in Wijk 40 Berkum

Not worth a dime, every time there's a card payment failure in the drive. I come once a month, every time there's a card payment failure.....

It says here on Google that the drive-thru closes at 11:00 PM. We arrived here at 10:25 PM to get some food. The barrier at the drive-thru was already up, and the entrance door was closed. As sweet as my partner is, he walked through the drive-thru ahead of me... however, when we arrived at the window, it turned out that almost everything was already sold out and cleaned. I really wanted a Zinger Burger menu with a vanilla milkshake and 10 chicken tenders. They didn't have it anymore. As 'compensation,' they offered me a Colonel Burger menu with Coke and 4 chicken tenders. Was the rest sold out? This is a bad situation. Who closes the doors half an hour before the place officially closes? I love KFC, but I won't be coming back.

The staff isn't making themselves useful. They slam the door shut while people are still sitting inside eating? And they do this well over 2 hours before closing time; I'm pretty sure that isn't legally allowed. Not clean or tidy, no customer friendliness, you get half the orders. I don't know how they think they make food? But the food tastes and looks like a rat rolled in breadcrumbs itself. Lol never again

The waitresses looked at us as if we were fat because we ordered for the second time, so I was quite sad.

Shef behind the counter—a bald man with a gray beard wearing a shirt—walks through the place yelling and screaming at his staff. The place itself was also incredibly dirty; every table was covered in sauce. The food is also lukewarm and slow. Fortunately, everything had already been laid out on the counter fifteen minutes earlier.

In general, great atmosphere, delicious food, friendly staff, truly a top-notch place!

I go there because there's no other KFC in the area. But I'm appalled by how dirty it is. The tables are always dirty and the bins are overflowing with trash, even though there's a low customer traffic. I think the owner should seriously consider replacing the staff. I sometimes travel and stop at other KFCs. I've never seen such filth.

Today I visited this KFC branch in Zwolle, and unfortunately, the hygiene and professionalism left much to be desired. I noticed that two employees were walking around with long, completely loose hair during food preparation and serving. They were not wearing hairnets, and their hair was not tied back in a ponytail or bun. One of the employees was wearing a cap, but their long hair was still hanging completely loose underneath. The other employee was not wearing any head covering at all. This is very unhygienic and gives a very wrong impression of the company. In a business where you sell and prepare food, staff should simply wear their hair neatly tied back. As a customer, you expect that hygiene rules are strictly followed. This left a very unsavory impression. I hope that management will monitor this more closely soon and address this issue with the staff.

Unfortunately, not such a good experience at this KFC. Long wait time. The staff didn't seem to be in the mood, looked bored, and forgot the sauce packet and salt. Although it was busy around dinnertime, there was very little speed in taking orders. Additionally, there was a loud whirring sound in the restaurant.

Very dissatisfied. I ordered my food an hour and a half ago and it still hasn't arrived. You would think that at a fast food place, it wouldn't take longer than an hour to prepare burgers, fries, and kapsalon. We keep trying to get in touch, but the delivery time is adjusted every few minutes. Honestly, I have no words for this. I definitely do not recommend this place. And the delivery person is smoking 9 out of 10 times, which probably explains a lot too.

They can just drop the name fast food here, man oh man. Waiting 30 minutes for your order, and a drive-thru that is always out of order.

Truly too scandalous for words. I ordered some takeaway food for my family. At the drive-in, we were turned away because the cash register was "malfunctioning"—okay, that can happen. I walked inside and saw a few people waiting, but it wasn't too busy... then I saw one manager and three ladies working. The whole place was packed, and after a few minutes, two ladies went outside to stand smoking and making phone calls by the window at the restaurant, while the manager was busy making wraps. At that moment, absolutely no one was taking orders... everyone saw them walk in, not even washing their hands, nothing. It's a good thing a customer who had been waiting half an hour for two milkshakes spoke to the manager about it, otherwise the manager wouldn't have said anything at all! I got my food 50 minutes later, and the drive-in was actually open because in the meantime, people were being served whenever it suited them! A useless manager and employees who just want to earn money by doing nothing. That was the very last time here!

It is filthy here, food arrives lukewarm even when it is quiet, and the KFC looks like a slum.

Unfortunately, the food at KFC is no longer what it used to be, but the quality varies by location. Sometimes it is old and even smells bad, but at this location, the food was better. I hope that KFC will once again pay just as much attention to food quality as it used to.

The food was there within 10 minutes, warm and tasty.

They were already closed at 10:15 PM, even though it said they would close at 11:00 PM.

Little space at the ordering kiosks, dirty tables, dirty floor, they don't bring your order to your table. The staff are having a good time together but don't lift a finger... the whole place was waiting but they weren't working any harder and there is also too little staff..

Today, six of us went to KFC in Zwolle and spent around €90. Unfortunately, our visit was a huge disappointment. Several items were missing when we first picked up our order. We had to go back inside and point this out. Then we had to wait quite a while again for the missing items to arrive. We had also ordered a boneless meal, but it still contained chicken wings with bones. This shouldn't happen when ordering. Since the air conditioning was set too high inside, it was uncomfortably cold, so we sat outside. However, it was very dirty there. The tables, the floor, and the entire outdoor area were filthy. The trash cans outside were completely overflowing, as were the ones inside. In the end, we couldn't even dispose of our trays because there was no more room on the bins. On top of that, a man approached us outside. His clothing was so inappropriate that his genitals were visible. Something like that right in front of a restaurant—especially a family restaurant—is very unpleasant and, in our opinion, shouldn't have gone unnoticed. During our visit, teenagers also came into the restaurant with a live chicken, filmed it, and wandered around the KFC for an extended period. Again, no staff seemed to intervene. Overall, we unfortunately didn't get the impression that cleanliness, order, or smooth service were being prioritized. For a visit where we paid around €90, we expected significantly more. It's a shame – we probably won't be visiting this location again.

I ordered food via the website yesterday around 9:00 PM and 9:15 PM; delivery was possible until 10:00 PM, but I received absolutely nothing. Just waiting 30-60 minutes every time, freshened up again... It is a shame that they couldn't deliver before 10:00 PM; it was constantly being said they were cancelled.

KFC Zwolle has really gone downhill in terms of customer service. I went there today because the little one wanted to eat KFC. You think you're being quick and going to the Drive-Thru. It turns out they are having a technical issue for the umpteenth time and I have to order in the store. It wasn't too busy in the store, but it still took almost half an hour before I received my order. I went to the counter twice to ask if they could pick up my order, given that my little daughter had just had a procedure and I had her on my lap. The response I received was that I have to wait and they can't go any faster. Very unfriendly and rude. Absolutely no understanding. It seems like a gathering place for all unfriendly people who are minding their own business instead of helping the customers. No more KFC Zwolle for me!!!

The food is just good, as it should be. But they always have a problem with the cash register at the Zwolle drive-through. It takes a very long time to get your order. They should close the drive-through.

Ordered a crunchy burger here today because of the discount. The chicken was smaller than a finger and the sauce was nowhere to be found. We literally paid 1.50 for a cheese bun. We went to the manager without eating a single bite, but he refused to do anything about it. Ridiculous service; we have had crunchy burgers before: if you are running a promotion, don't make everything smaller, because this can no longer be called a burger.

The food was fine, although the fries were lukewarm. The service was terrible. We had all ordered a special Pepsi that was also slightly more expensive than the regular one. It turned out they didn't have it. Since I had paid extra, I expected some form of compensation. Nothing was suggested, so I just suggested adding an ice cream for all of us. While I was waiting for our ice creams, I was asked in a rather rude manner what I was doing at the counter. Eventually, the ice creams were ready, but we still hadn't received any drinks. The man who served us apparently hadn't understood that we wanted a drink as well, and not just a cheap ice cream. Eventually, we got our drinks (without any apologies). And to top it all off, it turned out that I had ordered a large Pepsi and the rest of our family a medium, but we all received a medium. Things going wrong can happen. But having to come up with a solution yourself, and for that solution to go wrong on multiple points, is simply unacceptable.

Not a single table was clean. Toilet unavailable (a rope was hanging in front of the stairs). Excessively long wait. Eventually ate in the car. Done with KFC in the Netherlands.

Very poor service, orders were wrong, they forgot the drinks. I showed what I had ordered, then it was changed. They started on the fries, they were dark and soft, went back, the fries were fried again. That girl was standing there laughing. The man said something to her: they are old. I got new ones, a huge difference. I said to her: you're ripping people. She kept laughing, but when I said: I'm going to file a complaint, she was laughing. Never again KFC.

We eat here often, and sometimes things do go wrong, but the food is almost always very good and reasonably priced with the special offers. We are always served quickly, and the food is usually nice and hot. We usually eat at lunchtime, around 11:15. So, in contrast to all the negative reviews, I want to post this positive one.
