The barista made both the oat and cowmilk cappuccino on the perfect temperature. Not burnt, gentle flavour, incredibly silky. Right next to Vondelpark and museumsquare I didn't expect coffee this good.

Good coffee, only two types of beans for espresso and they are pretty close to each other. The Tanzania and the Ethiopia (both tasted highly acid and fruity) the pastries were OK , the coco piece with the coconut was so dry. The staff is super friendly, helpful and smiling. At the beginning the place was a little bit smelly, but after understood that it is because everything was so old and authentic, and all wooden floors and tables

Stayed around the corner and came here daily for amazing coffee (as an Australian that’s a big call in Europe 😆) -the granola bowls were amazing and the friendly staff offered brilliant service that included tips on where the locals hang in Amsterdam! High recommend!

Really amazing experience. A coffee to place that I have enjoyed. I have ordered a flat white, the coffee was smooth and delicious. I ordered fresh orange juice and a toastie as well. Both were so good. The toastie was really good (ham and cheese) Highly recommend it.

I entered the café by chance to have a coffee and wait for my reservation time for Van Gogh Museum. I liked the place, the carrot cake is so delicious. The gentleman who makes the coffee and also serves is kind and helpful. The toilets are clean, I confirm.

Found this amazing cafe during my visit to Amsterdam. One can find a nice coffee and breakfast here. It's a combo cozy atmosphere with good vibes, also making it perfect for reading and working. I recommend their cheese croissants. Nice cafe with good coffee!

Very fu coffee shop! Came here to buy a latte and a hot Americano, both taste great It’s a pity that the portion is a little smaller! Ordered banana cake and brownies They were all quite delicious, and we even asked the store clerk to heat them up for us. This is my favorite coffee spot for a work day. The barista is always nice and makes good coffee. They have plenty of tables and chairs where you can sit with your laptop. The tarts are tasty and healthy. Great for a pleasant day in the fall.

Really? 11 euro for one slice of bread with a little bit of tomato and two very small slices of mozzarella???

There is nothing wrong with what is served and the atmosphere is also pleasant. I think the price for a toasted sandwich (small size) with some tomato and two slices of mozzarella is very disproportionate (€11!). And it is also far too little for a normal eater. The wait staff's defense 'well, this is Amsterdam isn't it', disappointing. I'm an Amsterdam resident myself and I've never had so much on my plate for so much money.

Honestly, one of the best coffee places in ams. This is my fav go to if I need a place to get creative or productive with work. The place is super relaxed vibe, nice atmosphere with the garden (especially doors open) music and staff always nice and coffee also good! This is what a coffee place should be like, not those modern cold interior €5 places..

Fantastic coffee shop! Was looking for a high quality cup of American style drip coffee (that wasn't Starbucks) and this place did not disappoint. Got the Batch Brew three days in a row and it was awesome every time... each day a different single origin brew. Their espresso is equally good. Can't go wrong here.

Ok, so Ive been coming to this coffee place forever. Today I got served a flat white, the smallest flat white at the most ridiculous price. Ik voel me beledigd. No way, not again. This is daylight robbery!

We came to this café spontaneously and the first impression was actually quite ok. But when we saw the prices, we were completely shocked. Nevertheless, we ordered a latte macchiato and a tea. When we were served we were disbelieved because we definitely expected something different given the prices. The latte macchiato was far too small, the taste was unbearable - a real disgrace for the price! It was also difficult to get the tea down. The toilets had another surprise in store: they looked like a junk room and the hygiene options were poor, if at all. When we asked the waitress about it, we were rudely turned away. The store is definitely not recommended! We were very disappointed!

Food is a bit over the price, order the granola bowl for 12€ and it doesn’t even come with a full banana on the bowl. the guy serving the cafe has not much patience or charisma. Saw him being rude with other costumers for not understanding their order at first. Was a miscommunication with the translation of a drink that he could definitely have handled without losing his temper.

This nice, small bar at the Overtoom serves roasted coffee and homemade croissants, brownies and carrot cake. Everything at the bar is for sale: so also the interior and the paintings on the wall made by students. Furthermore they have coffee to go and wifi.

Recently visited this coffee shop in Oud-West and was disappointed with my experience. Overall, decor of coffee shop is nice but food and coffee are mediocre. The coffee shop doesn’t allow laptops at the majority of tables regardless of length of stay. I watched individuals read books for over an hour which doesn’t seem fair to professionals wanting to send out a few emails. I brought this up with a gentleman of the staff and he rudely disregarded my concerns. (I believe he was the owner) Other staff members were a lot nicer. Unfortunately, I won’t be back. I’d recommend Uncommon Amsterdam across the street.

I enjoyed the coffee here for the majority of my stay in Amsterdam until the very last day when I was rudely approached by a staff member. One of the male baristas came to our table and informed me that I was extremely rude for bringing juice in from outside because they also make juices here (this was not infact my juice, but rather an empty bottle a friend had brought in because we had been using it to stuff our trash into as we walked along the canal. The staff member then stormed off before we were able to get a word in and made a rude gesture to us as we left. Safe to say I will not be returning to the Cafe, nor will I be recommending it to friends after this experience.
