10/10! Freshly made bread, delicious combinations with cheddar, extensive menu, and very affordable prices! Right next door, you can find desserts and drinks. The service and atmosphere are like in Turkey, so incredibly good! It took me right back. The owner is very friendly.

Based on a recommendation, I brought my brother and his family from Bursa. We were very pleased with the service. The pita was also delicious. I recommend eating it hot as soon as it arrives. You should also definitely try the kadayıf dessert.

Delicious kofte sandwich with cheddar, friendly staff

Too expensive for what you get.

Pide and chicken sandwich were tasty, kapsalon lamb was less so, too greasy for my taste.

I've eaten there before. The kofte sandwich was fine then. This time we ordered it, and it was absolutely inedible. The bread was burnt, making everything taste burnt, and the kofte sandwich had a nasty aftertaste. To be honest, the seasoning on the chicken and kofte was also just very poor and minimal.

Bad delivery. Good food. But choose another restaurant from now on. Walking is even faster. Price ratio not in balance with service. Good food but bad staff

People complain about the prices on social media. I went there today but when you see how big the bread and meat is that you get I think it is really worth it. And it was also super tasty

This place was a total surprise. I was expecting a decent meal, but what I got was one of the best dining experiences in recent memory. The staff here are incredibly passionate about what they do — you can see it in how they explain each dish and how carefully everything is presented. I had the lamb shank and it was fall-off-the-bone tender, served over creamy mashed potatoes with a rich reduction. The portion was generous and beautifully plated. My only regret is not saving room for dessert. I’ll be back to fix that. This is one of those restaurants that’s worth going out of your way for.

Good thing from the tradesmen's restaurant. Arabesque music in the background. Narrow place. We ordered cubed pita and the meat was inedible. Especially the sharma pizza was a disaster. I think they mix stale meat with spices to prevent it from smelling. When the children asked for drinks, the waiter said go and get them yourself 🫨

We had a kofte sandwich with cheddar, the sandwich was well filled with a fresh salad and cheese. The kofte's were juicy and tasted deliciously like grilled and the sandwich was warm and crispy 😍😍😍

Unfortunately, a place that looks great on social media, but in reality it doesn't. We've been here a few times with family. The focus seems to be very much on what they turn over per table. If you come with children, they already seem to be annoyed. Simple questions seem to be too much. When new guests arrive, they are already told that we are almost leaving while we are still eating. Last Ramadan we wanted to make a reservation for iftar and we indicated that there are children with us. The tone immediately changed from friendly to unfriendly. Suddenly it was not easy to make a reservation, because the intention is that the children also order an iftar menu. 2 adults and 4 children. I indicate that the children will share 1 iftar menu with two. The tone becomes sharp and the person literally says that I have to understand that they also want to earn something and that if we only take 2 iftar menus with 6 people, it would be a waste of the table that we would then occupy. I have never felt so disrespectfully treated by a restaurant owner/employee. The fact that you allow your guests in this way is one thing, but that you have also communicated it in this way is far from decency. The first few times we came here with great joy, unfortunately the last few times not until the experience on the phone. This makes this restaurant not an option for us. Radiate hospitality, respect and warmth via social media and in real life especially the other way around.

I've eaten here before and I was actually quite satisfied, so I thought this is a place where I can order again with confidence. Unfortunately, that was really not the case this time. I had ordered a köfte sandwich, but it was completely out of balance. The cheddar was so dominant that you could hardly taste the rest. The bread itself seemed barely baked, it was still almost raw and very white in color. The lettuce on it was soggy and wilted, as if it had been there for a while. I was even five minutes earlier than the indicated pick-up time, hoping to get everything as fresh as possible. To my surprise, my order was already completely packed and ready. When I asked if they could cut the sandwich for me, I saw an employee hesitate, after which the owner came over and immediately said: "No, it's already packed." The chicken tenders sandwich was also very disappointing. The tenders were not crispy as you would expect, but rather soggy and limp. And then the loaded fries… I don’t even want to start on that. The fries were pale, limp and soggy, and the extra chicken fillet we ordered was cold and bone dry. A real shame, because my previous experience gave me hope that this could become a new regular spot. But after today I know for sure that I won’t be coming back here again. Too bad.

Actually I never really take the time to write an extensive review but I thought it was worth it now so here we go: A few days ago I went to Konya for the first time, and I can tell you that you will find the best döner sandwich of your life here! The sandwich is apparently freshly made and the meat, soooo much and soooo tasty, a friend only wanted döner and feta cheese with garlic on his döner and this was arranged for free, great. By the way, the order of 3 döner sandwiches was ready super fast (less than 5 minutes) They have a super large menu, the choice is huge. If you wonder why it took so long it was probably because you couldn't choose what you ordered 🤔😂 The atmosphere was also great, many couples/families who came by for a chat and a tasty bite. Plenty of seating. The place also looked nice and clean and the service was quick and the employees very sympathetic and spontaneous. Konya Etliekmek, definitely recommended, hopefully they will open a place in Amsterdam South one day, there is almost no good döner to be found there. 10/10 😁

Definitely recommended. Their lamb shawarma sandwiches are top notch. We also had pide with lamb shawarma (also delicious), kofte sandwiches with cheddar (absolutely amazing) and their loaded fries were delicious, especially if you like cheesy. We will definitely come back, but if you want to sit down for a while, I think it would be wiser to come during the week and not at the weekend. It will be difficult to sit comfortably, but when it comes to food they are one of the best.

I ate the Köfte Cheddar Sandwich and the Chicken Breast Cheddar Sandwich here, and both were really delicious! The flavors were well balanced and everything was freshly prepared. I can definitely recommend these two sandwiches if you eat here. The place is neat and clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful.

Small restaurant with tasty doner and fresh bread. Atmosphere could be better, but it has to do with the size of the business. I once saw that they fry fries and some snacks together, but that affects the taste. Definitely recommended.

Picked up the well-known kofte cheddar sandwich here. I had my doubts after reading the mixed reactions, but these were immediately dispelled with the first bite. Super tasty sandwich and filling! A bit on the expensive side, but definitely worth a try.

Etli ekmek has not been what it used to be for a while There is also someone else who makes it and there is a real difference with the old one

The base is wonderfully thin and crispy, just as it should be, and the filling is rich with fresh ingredients. I ordered a Turkish pizza with döner, and the combination of tender meat, fresh lettuce, and perfectly seasoned sauce really made it complete. Everything tasted fresh and well prepared. You notice that attention is paid to quality and taste. In addition to the Turkish pizzas, there are also other dishes on the menu, such as kapsalon, dürüm and delicious grilled meat dishes. My friend took a hair salon, and it was also well seasoned and not too greasy, which you sometimes encounter at other places. The portions are also generous, so you really get value for your money. They take the time to take your order properly and think along with you if, for example, you want something extra or want to leave out an ingredient. Really good place and great food ! Very clean and bright and they even have lemon cologne tissues to clean your hands and toothpicks which is exactly what I wished for after eating my chicken fillet sandwich.. I really appreciate these places that take care of their customers 😊👍🏼

Konya Etliekmek is one of the most popular ones and, for sure, one of the best Turkish restaurants in Amsterdam. The restaurant is small but comfortable and clean.

Just drove here from Zaandam to try a large kofte sandwich with cheddar. And all I can say is that it was great! Friendly and fast service, clean and fresh food. Definitely worth repeating!

This restaurant is exceptionally good. You get some kind of starter (meze) for free. Today we ordered a köfte sandwich with cheddar cheese and an “etli ekmek”. If we had taken the starter, it would have been very difficult for us to eat the entire food we ordered. Tea is, as just mentioned, free on the house together with the meze. Highly recommended for everyone. Everything is made on site. The dough is made into a sandwich while you watch it.

The best place to eat döner is in Amsterdam. I especially recommend the meat döner and köfte. But you should also definitely try the shawarma calzone. The Italian dough, combined with Middle Eastern spices, is a delicious combination!

You order 4 chicken sandwiches without sauce. She confirmed still without sauce yes without sauce. You get 3 sandwiches with dry tough veal and a pile of nasty garlic sauce everywhere.

This is by far the worst döner sandwich I have ever eaten. Reviews on UberEats are fine, but you are being completely misled by this. The sandwich resembles an unbaked pizza base from dominoes and the döner is tasteless and burnt. ALL IN ALL, ONE TIME AND NEVER AGAIN!

This was without a doubt the most disgusting dining experience ever. How this business still attracts customers is beyond me. DO NOT be fooled by social media or promotions, anyone promoting this should be ashamed of themselves! It may have seemed nice upon arrival, but it was immediately disappointing. As soon as we ordered, we already heard complaints from other customers. Still, we decided to give it a chance. Biggest mistake ever. The hygiene? Nil. An employee went to the restroom, left the door wide open, and the foul odor spread through the business. No one even bothered to close that door. Then you see the boys standing in the kitchen sweating as if they were just coming out of the sauna. I wouldn't be surprised if their sweat literally mixes with the food. That thought alone makes me feel sick again. And then the food... You wouldn't even want this for free. The döner tasted fake and chemical. But the biggest shame? That so-called köfte with cheddar. It literally looks like köfte with a nasty blob on it. How do you even think about selling something like that? Just the sight of it was enough to make me feel sick. If you compare this to what you get at Atila, it gets even worse. It's an insult to every customer and every euro you spend. This is pure fraud. Never again! This is a warning to everyone: stay away from this place and don't be fooled by online promotions. Save yourself the misery and go to a place where you at least get respect for your money.

Ate here because of a TikTok we saw, but it was very disappointing. We found her IN the soup, passed this on to an employee who politely asked if we wanted a new one (unfortunately they work in the kitchen without a net and the problem was not passed on to the staff in the kitchen). This had been refused. Döner was simply burnt and hard, garlic sauce was too watery and rolls unfortunately tasted of nothing. All in all, the experience and the tent that was too small was worthy of 1 star, I gave 2 stars because the employee offered us new soup.

I personally didn’t like the food unfortunately. I had the broodje kebab with lamb meat and I felt like the meat wasn’t quite fresh, it was quite chewy and just didn’t hit the spot. The fries were not salted, so I had to season them myself. There was no cutlery on the table nor napkins. Prices are reasonable though. I can imagine that their other food taste better!

Staff are friendly but I watched the man touch the raw meat, throw it on the grill, and directly turn around using the same hands he touched the meat with and prepare my falafel. He used his non-washed hands all over the pita wrap - never saw him wash his hands before or after. He ended up touching everything afterwards. What’s worse is I have not ate meat in over 10 years - this kind of unsafe food handling makes people sick.

Im sorry but the Kapsalon doner was not good at all, neither was the Kusbasi Kasarli pide… based on the reviews i was NOT expecting this. There was too much fat on the doner and the meat on the kusabi was just bad. Never leave a review but because it was such a disappointment i just had too.

Ate an adana dürüm today. To be honest, I waited quite a while for the food, but once it arrived and I took my first bite, I forgot about it. The adana meat was nice and juicy, I have never eaten it so tasty before! The wrap was well filled with salad and sauce. Presentation of the food is also really great. A tip would be to put some extra napkins on the tables next time, as the sauce may drip again. All in all the food is top quality. Staff very friendly. Great tent!

As a Turkish person, this is the most authentic Turkish food I've had in Amsterdam. I'd recommend the lentil soup and of course pide.

I randomly came across a video of Konya Etliekmek on YouTube (yes, look at our yaprak doner). I thought wow looks good, let's order. I can tell you one thing, it's not worth your hard earned money. Doner what I got was not yaprak doner and quality was really not good. And please don't let us start about pide, I had pide with cheese, tomato and pepper, you pay almost €11, you get maybe 5 slices at most 6 slices, very little and no taste at all. You pay a lot and you get very little, food without taste. Oh yes, and the fries were also limp, as if they had been there for 2 hours and had been re-added in frying oil. Delivery was very fast. Ordered and it was at my door within 25 minutes. Delivery fast but food bad. Just a shame, we didn't eat everything because it just wasn't good. NO MORE KONYA ETLIEKMEK FOR US. Before you order something here, please first look at alternatives because you can get better elsewhere. Don't be a thief of your own money.

The doner already smelled and tasted bad, but I thought it wouldn't be too bad. In the end I was poisoned by the doner and suffered from diarrhea. I definitely don't recommend this restaurant because of the bad meat. I don't trust good reviews that are here, they are certainly acquaintances of the owner! Update after owner's response: I see no reason to return to the store after being poisoned. What exactly can be put right? Maybe just give my money back. Just like your boss doesn't have time for fake reviews, I don't have time for fake reviews either. If something is good, it is good, and if it is bad, it is bad. I have been poisoned and I am 100% sure of it. The doner was not good. But I do know how to report it to the NVWA.
