I can't give more than two stars and wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone. Right at the door, you're told you can only sit for one hour. That immediately makes you not want to stay, and it's not the Turkish hospitality you usually expect. The portions were small, and I didn't enjoy the food at all. We spent €75 in 30 minutes. When we left, there were still seven tables free, so it's completely unnecessary to rush people right from the start.

Wonderful Turkish restaurant! Everything we tried was incredibly tasty and super fresh, we loved every dish. The desserts, especially the “Katmer” absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were lovely. We’ll definitely be coming back many more times.

I drove all the way from Deventer to Amsterdam for food. When I entered, the lady first asked if we had a reservation, then she showed us the table. We ordered a starter and a main course. The starter was okay, but after 45 minutes, still nothing for the main course. I asked another young man about it, and apparently, the girl hadn't passed on our main course order. After an hour, we finally got our food, and the meat wasn't good. We were given dry bread. The service was basically zero... and for this price, you're better off eating somewhere else. I paid 76 euros for 2 Adana platters (Ali platters). It's not about the money, but for this amount, I shouldn't have to wait 1.5 hours... and they didn't even say sorry... bad, bad, bad...

We were served by Oguz who was great, and the food really matched his service – Turkish food is one of my favourites and this is now one of my favourite places to get it.

The food was absolutely delicious. Many wonderful dishes from Turkish cuisine. The seating area on the Herengracht canal is pleasant and quiet, with a view of the water. Umit was a fantastic waiter, always attentive and always there at the right time. Thank you, Umit and Ali Ocakbasi! :)
