I already gave it 5 stars as I watched it being cooked before I even ate it. I am confident after eating it. A store run by a father and son for decades. I am shedding tears of emotion. It's so delicious.

Easily one of the best shawarmas I’ve had. The ratio was spot on—plenty of juicy, well-seasoned meat (about half the wrap), balanced with just the right amount of fresh, crunchy salad (maybe 30%), all wrapped up in soft, slightly crispy bread (around 20%) that held everything together perfectly. The flavors were incredible, and the sauces tied it all together without overpowering anything. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to!

I have been coming here regularly for lunch with my girlfriend for a number of years. Delicious Turkish pizzas, falafel, and incredibly friendly people. A great asset to the neighborhood.

I wasn't even born yet and my father already came here to get his bread. As a little girl I would come here to do some shopping or sometimes get a sandwich/Turkish pizza after school. The baker and owner is a friendly and hardworking man. Just like his children who are just as friendly. I can say that I think this is the best Turkish bakery in Amsterdam. I have now moved, but I will definitely still be there regularly.

Deze West bakkerij zijn klant vriendelijk plus een broodje dunner, neem altijd exstra broodje, wel om dat het vlees groenten te veel is voor een dus waarom geen twee.🤣altijd vers

Eenvoudige, maar daarom juist zo opvallend goed. Altijd lekker brood, goede Turkse pizza's en broodjes kebab voor mooi prijzen. Daarnaast een geweldige service, persoonlijk. Dat vind je tegenwoordig niet overal meer.

Kleiner guter Bäcker mit Snacks/Food Ein freundlicher Bediener und sein Sohn verkaufen dort orientalische (türkische?) Backwaren und Speisen/Food wie Döner, Lahmacun, Börek... Ich bekam einen preiswerten (3 Euro), soliden, leckeren Döner mit Lammfleisch, Krautsalat, grünem Salat, Tomate, Zwiebeln und schön scharfer (Chili)Sauce (wahlweise auch mit Knoblauchsauce). Als Sitzgelegenheit musste das breite, geflieste Fensterbrett herhalten, weil es keine Sitzplätze oder Bistrotische gibt wie in einem Imbiss. Fazit: Ich würde dort wieder kaufen (die türkische Pizza eines anderen Käufers für 3,50 mit Fleisch sah auch sehr köstlich aus) 😋
