Best Döner & Snacks in Kinkerbuurt

I just came here just now around 12 at midnight to get a broodje doner for the first time. It was really amazing, a big portion of meat and the vegetables were nice. one of the best doner i have had and that at midnight, wow! I will be coming here more often. For the owners reading this: (I was the boy with the green shirt and i had glasses on)

Because the ratings and prices are inflated in the tourist area, we ventured a bit outside the city center and found the value-for-money restaurant we were looking for just a few minutes away. The owner is a very hospitable man who runs the business. Our family enjoyed a hearty meal of döner kebab and chicken for half the price of the city center. The flavor was outstanding. Despite the Amsterdam vendors who charge extra even for ketchup on the fries, my chef knows no bounds in his generous offerings. We highly recommend this place, especially for those with green passports who are on a budget. It's on the tram line, but you can even walk from the center.

We went from Istanbul and they gave us a lot of filling. Their doner was better than Istanbul's. 10/10

We have been there a few times already, but the food is excellent and the staff is friendly. We will definitely come back.

10/10 best doner on the street. Although every shop in Amsterdam claims there are the ‘best’, this one was actually good. Full chicken and salad plate was around €6 probably 40g protein. Owner was sweet too.

Seriously the best Turkish Pizza! After 10 visits they still don’t disappoint.

A quick note for anyone with allergies: be cautious. You’ll need to clearly inform them in advance and also double-check during preparation. I asked for no onions due to an allergy, but still saw onions being added. That said, we were looking for a late-night bite and this was one of the few places still open. We gave it a try and weren’t disappointed! The food was tasty, and the place was clean.

We took some kababs of chicken and I also tried the halloumi one, all very good, especially the chicken ones. The fries where not my favorite only because where French, slim fries and not the one I like the most, the oma style one, thick, topical Dutch. I will try soon the vegetarian Turkish pizza.. Looks delicious. Recommended

I ate the kapsalon, which I wasn't familiar with, and it is of excellent quality, both beef and chicken are present, the side dishes are excellent and fresh, and this makes the difference. Prices in line with Amsterdam, even a little cheaper. Highly recommended. The staff inside is really friendly and capable. Good good.

Solid place and nice people! The doner is pretty good. Chicken one is more like pieces of chicken and beef is the regular mysterious doner meat. Both are good though.

I go there with my wife for a few months now. The owner with his wife have the business and its really one of the best doners in Amsterdam!! Plus, they are very welcoming and humble and they have place to sit outside! Edit: I still love it, best quality doner for me but come on guys...in the last period you put ONE slice of cucumber, one, slice of grilled paprika....its a bit shame to be so cheap on veggies....

this place has high reviews, so I walked 20 mins to try it. I would say it was the Worst chicken wrap I've ever had in Amsterdam, I've been coming over for 10 plus years and always loved the turkish pizzas and Durum Wraps.. this was absolutely horrible. the staff were extremely friendly so I gave them a tip after paying but before I got my food.. The wrap was not even half of the chicken you usually get at the other shops.. x3 small pcs of tomatoe, x3 small pcs of cucumber .. No sauce... extremely disappointing. Go somewhere else that prides themselves in their food.. this is not it.

I was tired and very hungry and decided to buy a kapsalon and I honestly don't have the exact words to describe what I felt, but it was more than incredible. Taste, presentation, the amount of food, everything was perfect, I loved it. The name "best doner" is definitely deserved.

I haven't eaten such a delicious durum in a long time. Friendly staff. And super hygienic.

Far too small a portion, hardly any meat in it, not much of a selection at the counter and it didn't look fresh. Avoid it if you can and go to the food halls next to it…

Staff are addicted to nicotine, I have watched how they prepare things, sit with unwashed nicotine fingers that also touch your food against their lips, spread the Döner sandwich open to put meat and vegetables in it, just wipe a dirty butt in their hand. the nicotine in your and my sandwich. I do not like first, second or third hand smoking. Industrial hygiene must be of paramount importance in the food sector (HACCP). After seeing this unpalatability, I decided to donate my Döner sandwich in a waste bin

Standard have dropped a bit since opening. The bread for a Broodje donor’s is too thin. The best donor is actually donorland eethuis further down on kinerstraat. The bread is better. More ingredients. Tastier.

I live in the neighbourhood where this Best Doner shop is based. I’ve not had a bad meal from here. I always have a friendly face and service . I usually see the Turkish Guy in the evenings and I get peppers and gherkins with Garlic Mayonnaise on my Box Doner it’s highly recommended if your in the area on the Kinkerstraat street .

So good . Stopped by there last night . Super good . Extra fresh ingredients , good portion and absolutely delicious . The guy running the spot was also super nice and spoke great English which helped us get exactly what we wanted .. Will be back !

Bad work. The sandwich is a pita and the fries are that thin McDonald's junk crammed into a small doner box, sad and wilted. Bah bah bah.

The kebab shop impressed me again on the last day of my school trip. I'm incredibly satisfied and for €5.5 a kebab couldn't taste better.

This is truly the best doner in Amsterdam at the moment at least. Personally I ordered the durum menu, which includes: durum of course, a good portion of potatoes and a drink of your choice. Positive and friendly staff. Fast preparation of dishes from fresh ingredients and good prices.

One of the tastiest and freshest kebabs I have ate in 7 years of living in amsterdam from the salad been so fresh and so much selection, to the meat piping hot and fresh....would deffo reccomend this place
