Service and atmosphere were top notch; however paying a premium price and getting nothing close to a real Adana kebab… If you serve this kebab in Adana, you will go bankrupt in one day.

Fun place with a great vibe, chicken thighs a bit under-seasoned but overall the food was really declicious and fresh. Our server Bekir was very knowledgeable and gave us some good recommendations.

Kaya made a very good service for us. We loved the food, meze and mix grill for main course + great desserts. It is a nice cozy restaurant with great food. One of the best food experiences in Amsterdam.

Amazing food, tremendous service. The Girit Fesli was amazing, served with a delicious balloon bread, as was the Ali Nazik - you can easily see why it falls under the Chef's Specials. The people were so friendly to these Americans celebrating our wedding anniversary - thank you!

Sadly, this place has gone downhill considerably. Everything has become more expensive—even tea, which is usually free in Turkish restaurants, now costs money. And the portions have gotten smaller. The balloon breads are only half the size (or even a third of what they used to be). The kebab is very ordinary, nothing special anymore, and certainly not as tasty as it once was. It's a real shame, because it used to be one of our favorite places. I wouldn't recommend it anymore, and my friends and I don't go there anymore either—we all feel the same way. Time to find a new restaurant, unfortunately.

Booked a table for a group of 12 with only 2 days notice. I had 3 different dietary requirement needs at the table (vegan, halal, and gluten free) and Ali Ocakbasi met all of them! The excellent food, service and atmosphere completely saved my birthday dinner after an unexpected cancellation by another restaurant. The place is very warm and authentic! Even so I am vegetarian, I had the best vegan kebab’ it is juicy and flavorful 👌 service is very welcoming, we had Kaya taking care of us and he really took his time for us to feel accommodate! I would definitely recommend a visit

Great Turkish cuisine, fast service, authentic music, welcoming staff, Demet Hanim helped us with warm friendly attitude, what else we can ask more. We tried saslik, Ali kebap, cig kofte, ezme, tomato&garlic confit, armut tatlisi everything was super delicious. I cannot pick one of them as favourite. We will definitely visit here more often.

Very nice restaurant with a variety of Turkish food and appetizers. Service was great and the staff are very friendly and bilingual. Only downside is you could feel the tables are crowded and cramped.

We were there yesterday, wanted something to eat, but it's really not recommended. I wouldn't give it a star. The meat wasn't cooked properly, the portion was too small for the price, it's a disgrace, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. In short: Too expensive, small portion for 12-year-olds, and the food wasn't good, they didn't even serve salad! Everything costs extra! Never again! I know much better Turkish restaurants. This place is worse than the tax office... be careful! Dikkatli olun, be careful, be careful!

It's a wonderful place, especially for anyone living abroad and longing for their homeland. I definitely recommend stopping by and savoring the unique flavors of Turkish cuisine. The staff is incredibly friendly and approachable, and everything was perfect from A to Z. Side note: Beyti's deliciousness is undeniable; it was the most delicious Beyti I've ever tasted.

The food was excellent - my favorites were the gevrek (meat was moist and flavorful), girit efesi, and kunefe for dessert (very sweet but to my taste). The baba ganoush was good but more yogurt-based than eggplant-based - a different style than I’m used to but still delicious Kaz was super friendly and patient. Despite us being on the third floor and thus a bit out of the way, she provided great service and helped us with wine choices, which involved a lot of back and forth that was much appreciated. Dimitra helped us close out the night and gave us great recommendations for the area. The decor on the top floor was not as nice on other floors, but we still had nice views of the area. Considering we were walk-ins on a busy night, seating was perfectly fine Definitely recommend!

I have visited this restaurant on a Wednesday evening with a friend. We ordered Pistachio Kebab, "Ezme", and glass of Turkish Raki. Our polite and sharp waitress Sogi quickly served our dinner without skipping any detail. I think Sogi is adding an additional value to the restaurant. Breads were warm enough, crispy, thin; just like in Turkey. Pistachio kebab was just perfect, my friend couldn't help but ordered another same type of kebab. Ambiance and vibe is warm. The nostalgic music plays on the background doesn't disturb your conversation but makes it even more enjoyable. There is an upper floor but we were seated next to a big window on the ground floor, looking into a UNESCO heritage Amsterdam Canal. If you go on the prime time, i strongly recommmend you to make a reservation.

I found this place for a quick stop on my Amsterdam visit, but then I realized how good the experience was. The food and the service felt great. Also have to thank Yelizay because of the Künefe recommendation.
