very nice turkish restaurant on the utrechtsestraat. food was fine and came quickly. adana was only warmed up and not necessarily fresh. for €36 i had higher expectations of course. fresh bread before and tea afterwards. waiters could be more attentive. drinks did not come, paid a bit more than was actually on the bill etc.

I am a big fan of Ali Ocakbaşı in İstanbul as well. Service was great thanks to waitress Lara. He is not the biggest fan of tulum salad but girit ephesi, beyti kebap and katmer.

The meat was delicious. We are very open to what Turkish restaurants offer, but there was nothing to offer here other than tea, which made me a little sad. But drinking Turkish tea, which I missed for 3 days, was like a remedy. :) The atmosphere and attention are very good. I would especially like to thank Ms. Lara, who took care of us.

Had dinner at Ali Ocakbaşi in Amsterdam. A nice neat place with tasty Turkish dishes on the menu. The atmosphere is good and the staff very attentive and helpful. The food is tasty. As a starter hummus with bread. The bread is fresh and warm. Main course was lamb kebab with bulgur. The meat was deliciously tender and nicely spicy. The kunefe for dessert was great. The portions were not very big for what you pay for it, but it was a good experience!

I am a regular here, especially for deserts (kunefe is out of this world). I always ask for dimitra to serve me because she is lovely and loves to do conversation :) the food is worth its price especially if you come for a mezze dinner. I recommend this place to families and older groups of friends. Big love to all the staff

We had a lovely late lunch at Ali. I had visited a few years ago but wasn't too happy overall back then, wanted to give it a second chance today and I'm glad I did as they improved a lot in terms of service and price/value. Special thanks to Mr Abbas. Delicious food and great atmosphere.

Reserved Tuesday 11/03 at 4:30 PM. Were 4 adults and 1 child. Arrived just before opening hours (30 minutes early) That we used to be...no problem. The fact that we all had different starters and main courses, which could be served simultaneously or consecutively... no problem. In short: Cozy dining in a beautiful interior! Warm atmosphere, beautiful location, lots of parking. Great reception, you can tell from everything that this is a business where both the owner and staff have only one goal, to take care of and appreciate the customers from A to Z Very smooth service, friendly, attentive! Thank you Lara!!! Nice menu with unusual dishes. The chef's dishes are a demonstration of his great talent from start to finish, with beautiful presentations, intense flavors and supreme refinement. In this restaurant, everything is done simply but perfectly, both in the kitchen and in the dining room. Once again Lara, a very sincere thank you, I have been working in the catering industry for 25 years, but have rarely experienced such hospitality and service. If we visit Amsterdam again, we will make a reservation again. Lara and colleagues...a sincere thank you and congratulations. Greetings to the Belgian family.

Delicious Turkish food in an intimate atmosphere on the canals :) the team is very hospitable and Yelizay constantly came to check if everything was okay. All in all a very nice experience at Ali Ocakbasi!

It's a tavern with a very nice atmosphere. The appetizers are the best I've had in a long time. I would especially like to thank Ms. Nisa for taking great care of us. If you happen to be there, be sure to stop by!! I will come again.
