Delicious Ramen and very friendly service! I definitely recommend! :)

When it’s cold outside, I feel it deeply in my bones because I’m a Vata Dosha. Nothing like a spicy ramen combined with conversation with immigrants (in this case my Japanese waitress and Eritrean chef) to warm the soul. It was a balm (after a complex emotional day) that always makes me so happy to visit The Netherlands.🇳🇱

Still dreaming about this ramen! I got the pork broth with the veggie ramen and it was phenoooooomenal. So savory. Good selection of known Japanese beers. Crazy how quickly the place filled up!! My best dining in Amsterdam so far.

the ramen was delicious! very rare to find ramen restaurants in amsterdam that use this thin type of noodle. seasoned to perfection! the meat was delicious. the egg was soft boiled (also rare in amsterdam for some reason). really happy we came here!

Very nice staff and excellent service. We tried all three ramen options (chicken, pork and vegetarian). The broth for each was excellent. Also highly recommend the pork gyoza.

The ramen is delicious, and although the place isn't very big, it's cozy, making it easy to choose because the options are limited. I like that they have a choice of Japanese beers and drinks to accompany the ramen. The appetizers are also worth it.

Great atmosphere and very friendly and attentive service! The chicken karaage was delicious! The ramen noodles had a nice texture and were delicious. I found the soup base a bit lacking in flavor; I prefer a heavier/saltier soup base. I'm also not the biggest person. The chicken in the soup could have had a bit more flavor; it didn't really come through.

Great ramen if you're in the mood. I didn't quite understand what the mushrooms were that came with it.

We had high hopes, but unfortunately it was disappointing. Broth was quite bland, the meat in the ramen was good on the other hand. The gyoza were good too. There was too much noodle as well. But overall there was not much taste to the noodles and the soup. Therefore, if you're a ramen enthousiastic like me, I would not recommend this place. Service was good, the Japanese worker was nice although it was super busy in the store and waiting times were long. Unfortunately the ventilation in the place was not sufficient, it was pretty smelly and warm inside which makes your clothes smell a lot.

We took tonkotsu and chicken ramens. Both were quite disappointing mostly because of noodles which were soft and not tasty. Broth was rather bland

We made a reservation here because my wife wanted ramen and we felt like trying a new place. We got a 25 euro Uber to get here. When we arrived the waiter said that there was no room for us, he was too busy to update the website. There was an empty table but he gave to people waiting outside without reservation because he had already promised.

Everything was fantastic, the food was absolutely delicious, and the service couldn’t have been better. Friendly staff, great atmosphere, and an all-around 10/10 experience. Highly recommend!

We realy liked the Ramen here. It's taste was on point. The many ingredients were verry tasty. Maybe a little too much for some folk, but it was perfect with me. Even the service here was cute and accommodating. It gave us the Family Buisness vibe, one can immagine in some movies. With this i give 5 out of 5 star.

Great and friendly service. Delicious and crispy karage chicken. Ramen was good but a bit bland. We asked for medium spicy but didn't taste spicy at all.

Both the food and the service were simply incredibly good.

We tried the vegan ramen and were a bit disappointed. The broth was flat and the overall flavor quite bland. The texture was nice thanks to the mushrooms and fried dumpling, but everything leaned too sweet, making it a bit cloying. There were also way too many noodles compared to the broth. The place was quite humid, and without good ventilation, we left smelling like fried food. For the quality, the price didn’t really feel worth it

Great place for authentic Ramen. Service was very very friendly, food was amazing. There is also a vegetarian option. Great experience! But I would recommend to book a table in advance as it is a small restaurant.

We were there once and plan on returning every time we are in Amsterdam! The food is delicious, the servers are extremely nice and welcoming and the place is very cozy, warm and nicely decorated. Their broth is rich and creamy as promised )))

1 star for the estatics and 1 star for the presentation but Noodles are thin and instant, Pork was still a bit chewy, Was greeted by konnichiwa but please don't if you're not Japanese. Would love to see a dim sum place here or some nice Gado Gado dishes.

Service was really great and the food tasty! We had the pork ramen with 2x 🌶️ which was really good with just the right amount of spice. They had alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks which was great ito options! Unfortunately they did not have the pancakes when we were there but overall the service, food and general vibe was great. Would recommend and go back!

One of my favourite places in Amsterdam!

In pricey, stingy and cold service oriented Amsterdam, it is one of the few places where I felt the food was worth it. The portion was very generous considering the price. More importantly the taste was very decent, broth was well cooked with nice side dishes. The staff working there was friendly and helpful. Will definitely come back soon and try more

I think the service was great, but the food itself definitely looked better than it tasted. The broth was super-bland, not salty, not savoury, not chicken-ey, just really fatty water. The edamame we ordered as a side were also overcooked. Overall, not a place I’d go back to.

Tasted Tori Paitan Ramen with Gyoza pork side and both were wonderful!

I had the tonkotsu ramen. The appearance and smell were good, but the taste was disappointing. The broth was thin and bland. The noodles were lacking in springiness and also flavour since the weak broth was unable to cling to them. The pork was mediocre, certainly not melt-in-your-mouth tender. The egg was fortunately not overcooked. There was quite a lot of additional toppings. The portion was quite big, but I didn't want to finish it. This is definitely not authentic Japanese quality ramen. The table and menu cards were sticky.

Customize your bowl just the way you like it, (I love to go for garlic, spring onions and 🌶️ one level of spicy) and don’t forget to add some extra sides for the perfect meal. (I love their Karaage chicken & Takoyaki ) I love their rich pork broth is bursting with flavor, and every bite of their sramen is pure perfection. it’s so rich, creamy, and absolutely irresistible. Highly recommended for all ramen lovers out there!

After checking the reviews, i decided to try that place. But it looks like a scam. The ramen has very unpleasant taste and meat was funny. Also table was sticky. I found one or two bad reviews that states the true situation. Be careful!

The tonkotsu ramen tastes average and the soup base is not very rich. It's a level that I would eat on a daily basis but it's not worth going out to eat. The atmosphere in the store and in the nearby neighborhood is very good, and the staff is very friendly, which is great:) It is worth mentioning that the price can be said to be very cheap in Amsterdam

Very satisfied, been there 3 times, 1 time a little less when the windows were a little less hot, but still satisfied. The staff is great and even recognizes us after the second time. Very kind

The food was really great, but it was a lot! So make sure to go here on an empty stomach. Very reasonably priced also. The waiter was also very nice to us. I will definitely come here again.

Number of products out of stock. Restaurant was dirty. Thick layer of dust, cobwebs, dirty floor, visible mouse traps, storage next to the tables where you eat. When the front looks like this, you wonder what it looks like behind the scenes. Overall impression affects the taste of the food. Chicken Karaage contained a lot of fat and little meat. Service was friendly and did their best.

Delicious food!! Truly authentic Japanese ramen. 3 types, nice and simple, as it should be! Very nice and caring server. We will definitely come back, our new favorite hotspot! Dined on September 4, 2023

Not sure why many ppl gave 3 stars or more… do they even have taste buds? Have they eaten real ramen before? The broth here were a little bland - characterless, those ‘aroma oil’ completely obscured the taste of the broth. Wondering if they have put in all enough different types of ingredients to make the broth. Noodles were floury. It’s not like it’s raw, but soft and floury. Egg was super salty! It taste like soy sauce completely - in which it shouldn’t have! Not sure what I ate after eating. One must really know the taste (hence the way of making) of something in order to open a shop….

Personally i do not like other restaurants that have overly fatty porkbelly that you see barely any meat on it and just full of the pork fat. So Kumo chef takes on ramen is just awesome for my taste since if is still tasty but he use less fattier cut to make chasiu and i love it. Overall tasty ramen and somewhat healthier option than other places. The price was good and the service was also good.

Klein restaurant met authentieke ramen. Het personeel was heel attent en vriendelijk. Toen ik een hoestbui kreeg stond er meteen een glas water naast mij. Je kan kiezen tussen varkens, kippen en vegetarische bouillon en ook een aantal toppings. Er zijn verschillende gradaties in heet voor als je het wat pittiger wil. Ook de side dishes kan ik aanraden. De dumplings waren knapperig van buiten en zacht van binnen.

I've had a lot of high quality ramen, and this is some of the best. Wonderful broths, handmade noodles, the service went above and beyond, hosted in a cozy place, and the shrimp tempura and pork gyoza were to die for. These people know what they are doing! Highly recommend. Certainly worth the trip.

I had ramen at a couple spots in Amsterdam and this was my favorite by far.

Very good ramen experience in Amsterdam. I have tried the vegetarian broth, it comes with 3 fried vegetarian dumplings. The broth is tasteful and the service is super nice. Menu for Ramen + Side = 22 EUR I recommend the Takoyaki

Great ramen. They also had vegetarian ramen and made an effort to double check which ingridients would be suitable. They also have authentic spice levels so if you are looking for something hot, this is the one. The ingridients were very fresh and the broth was creamy. Would really recommend.

It's really nothing special. At 17+ EUR a head it should have been amazing.

Not a big fan of ramen but this place is the only one I go to when my tummy craves one. And the service is exceptional! Two guys working there greet you nicely, explain the menu thoroughly and the order comes in pretty fast! We didn’t have to wait too long. The food from the ramen to the side dishes were great. And they also make sure to stop by at the table to ask how the food was. This will stay my go-to!

Simple but tasty ramen, had the chicken garlic spicy one and enjoyed it. Tasty noodles and chicken slices. Gyoza’s and takoyaki’s also nice.
