We had a very good experience at this restaurant. It's well located, with a tram stop nearby. The service was very welcoming. We ordered Tokyo Shoyu ramen and Teriyaki Curry. We also had a bottle of water and homemade iced tea to drink. The prices were reasonable.

Takumi never fails to deliver, in whichever city i go to them. The food is always on point and the service is kind and helpful.

The service people were wonderfull but .... I had a curry ramen and did not eat more than 3 bites. Sorry but is was terrible. Will not eat there again.

Good grief, where do all the positive reviews come from?! Yes, the service is really very friendly and attentive, but that's about it. The teriyaki had a disgusting sauce, like Maggi from a packet, everything arrived super fast, but was also prepared incredibly unimaginatively… I feel a bit sick, especially after I went to the toilet there, it was so filthy, yuck! And you pay almost 20 euros for that.

A truly comforting experience. Exquisite service and incredible food. Definitely 5 stars!! It's worth venturing a little outside the city center to find places like this. Tram 7 drops you off right next door.

Takumi is definitely one of my favorite Ramen places in Amsterdam, staff are always super nice and helpful and the food is great.

I've been here a year+ ago and had a delicious ramen, with black garlic. This time my soul was craving for curry and I wasn't disappointed. Excellent rice to curry to chicken ratio, curry is thick as it should be and chicken has golden crisp skin and juicy meat. I would recommend 10/10, especially during cold times. Btw, look at the size of the portion, it's huge! Waiters are kind and a bit shy, lovely people.

This was by far the best Japanese Don I’ve had in the Netherlands! After our pottery painting session yesterday, my best friend and I were craving some good soul food — and Takumi Tonkotsu Ramen Amsterdam absolutely delivered. We arrived on Saturday around 14:15–14:20, and more than half of the tables were already occupied. Even though we didn’t have a reservation, the staff were super friendly and quickly found us a table. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, perfectly matching the kindness of the team. We started with the Yuzu Lemonade, Spicy Okonomi Karaage, Teriyaki, and Ebi Furai Gyoza Don. The Yuzu Lemonade was incredibly refreshing — honestly worth every bit of the €5 — and paired beautifully with the chewy, flavorful Spicy Karaage Chicken and juicy Teriyaki. The real star, though, was the Ebi Furai Gyoza Don. We ordered it as a set with miso soup and salad on the side, which made for a hearty and well-balanced meal. Since we were sharing, the staff even brought us an extra bowl, spoon, and fork — such a thoughtful gesture! The ebi tempura was wonderfully crispy, the gyoza had the perfect chew, and the vegetables with rice tied the whole dish together perfectly. We left completely satisfied and already can’t wait to return to try more dishes. I’ve officially added this place to my favourites!

Best Ramen in town and very friendly staff. Fast service. Serving size of ramen is huge and luckily I am allowed to take the leftover because other Ramen restaurants they don’t allow it. I highly recommend it.

The best ramen in my neighborhood, i like the ramens here way more than the curry , i always receive dry rice with it , maybe it’s just my luck i don’t know ! Plus the curry it self is not really any better than Japanese curries i tried before! The purple cheese cake is a waste of money in my opinion.. it was really bad ! But ! The main and the most important is the ramen .. and i love their ramen, i never can complete that huge portion.. friendly staff , but i was served the food before the cutlery during several visits . One last important tip , please be carful of cleaning the dust of the lamps above the tables, sometimes when people opens the door the tiny dusts come in my food , and even make me sneeze. Anyways i showed the waiter yesterday how dusty was the lamp .. it’s not that hard to clean it once a week at least ! But still i love the place and i go there often !

We had the garlic Tonkotsu Ramen with extra spice. The soup was absolutely delicious. Nicely seasoned broth and great toppings, what more can you want.

Good food at fair prices and really excellent service

I absolutely loved my experience at Takumi ramen :) I had a real craving for a nice hearty meal and this did not disappoint at all. Despite a short 10 minute wait (it was a busy day), we were seated in a nice area with a friendly waiter. The service throughout was fantastic and prompt. We got one Pork Tonkotsu ramen and one Vegan Shoyu Ramen. Both were exceptional. The quality of the broth and ingredients were top notch and prepared with care. The decor of the place stood out in a positive way as well. Overall it was a great time and I would recommend to others.

As far as our limited experience went, Foodhallen is overrated. This, right next door, is the real deal though. Lovely generous ramen bowls, good gyozas and all over very nice food. Service is fairly quick and the servers are friendly. We went twice. Thumbs up.

Just like every other Takumi in town very tasty food, big portions, friendly staff and cozy place. The tastiest vegan ramen I've eaten :) Lots of fresh vegetables and just very tasty. Also the meat and fish dishes are very tasty.

Great place for ramen. Tonkotsu broth was tasty paired with perfectly cooked ramen. The Chinese lady who served us was kind and attentive, providing warm and helpful service.

I've been here numerous times, the food here is always amazing and I also love the atmosphere. Although it can be very busy on certain days, service is always fast and excellent.

The truth is very, very disappointed. After paying the bill I got hungry just 10 minutes later, the kind you get when you eat fast food. The service was friendly, but I'm not going back because I felt ripped off with those expensive, low-protein dishes. Better to eat at the meatball place next door.

I ate a ramen here. Though tasty it had very little protein/meat that, when I left the resto, I was hungry again within 15 minutes. ‘Fake full’ kinda place, no better than any other fast food joint. Wouldn’t recommend plus the price is high for what you get.

They would deserve 4 stars but making us pay 1€50 extra per person for asking for a more spicy ramen without telling us before is a bad taste. Be careful, the soft drink is 200ml. The ramen is good, friendly waiters.

The vegan ramen was okay, but the kara-age was awful! KFC does better than that (and I would never set foot in a KFC). Not sure what people see in the interior, but maybe it is better when it's busy. It was lunchtime and pretty empty and rather desolate looking.

I used to love this place but the price/quality is going down. Today’s chicken portion was mockingly small, I wouldn’t dare to send it away from the kitchen to a customer. It’s almost 19 euros after all, feels dishonest.

I had the teriyaki chicken ramen and it was SO delicious. The chicken still had a little bit crunch on the outside and the broth + noodles were delicious really recommend and there are so many options to choose from! The location is really nice decorated aswell. Good vibes

I came here on a Moody Sunday with a moderate appetite. As a person well versed in Ramen, I have to say “Hats off”, this must be the best Ramen restaurant in Amsterdam. Please come hungry, because the portions are hearty, and the flavors are sublimely original. The service is excellent, and they paid attention to detail with their bandanas and tshirts. You already may know, the decor is joyous and tongue in cheek, making it a perfect spot to come to with your friends. Only the taste of the frying oil was not up to my standards, but then again I am a picky person when it comes to frying oils. Don’t miss this if you’re in Amsterdam!

The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, always making sure everything is perfect – from the order accuracy to the beautiful presentation. You can really taste the authentic Japanese care in every bowl. It's also great value for money with a wide variety of choices. Whether you dine in or take out, it's a fantastic experience. Highly recommend to anyone craving authentic ramen in Amsterdam!

Been this week for the third time and it's just good every time! Tasty, inexpensive and fast (useful if you are going to watch a movie at Filmhallen, for example).

This is the nice spot for dining with friends, having a family meal or going on a date. The restaurant has a mix of bright areas and more intimate corners. The food was delicious and the portions are super big. One Ramen is more than enough to leave you full and happy. The service was great, the staff were friendly and the food was really fast. I did not reserve a table but it was easy to find a spot for two. Prices are in line with other places around, main courses around €19 on average. Great experience, definitely worth trying.

Super tasty food! We wanted to eat something quickly, the servers ensured that we could order + eat within half an hour, without it seeming rushed. Moreover, the staff was very friendly. Although it was busy in the restaurant, the ambient noise was not bothersome at all. In my opinion, highly recommended

Great place for some Ramen! It was within close proximity of where I was staying. The place was packed, but we were seated very quickly. The Ramen was tasty and the broth very flavorful. They have a lot of options. You can’t ignore the decor which gives the place a nice vibe. Will definitely come back when in Amsterdam.

It is okay ramen. Maybe it is considered very good in Amsterdam. I think it really depends where you are from. If you live in Asia and have access to very good ramen then you don’t need to eat this. I think if you live in the area, definitely come. I had the mala ramen and the soup wasn’t spicy or fragrant. The little bottle of chili oil really helps so add a lot of it.
