Atmospheric eatery. Attention was paid to the details in the decor, and there was an extensive menu and drinks list. Also delicious non-alcoholic options. Plenty of explanation and help with the choice. And the spicy food was indeed manageable. The large bowl of seaweed as a side dish was recommended. I needed help with my lychee drink, which had a complicated closure for me. Something involving a small ball that shut off the flow. Still not entirely clear, but a delicious drink nonetheless. The homemade iced tea, sugar-free with strawberries, was also excellent. Ultimately, I chose the chicken/shrimp/egg ramen. Had a delicious meal in a super nice setting. Attentive staff, of whom I heard they now have 5 eateries in Amsterdam. And for good reason.

I have visited this place multiple times with friends & family. We usually order their Vegan Miso Ramen, Vegan Spicy Tofu Ramen, Vegan Black Garlic Shoyu Ramen, Vegan Gyoza & Edamame. All really yummy!! The taste never varied.

Delicious food with generous portion sizes, served quickly in a calming restaurant. Difficult to fault this place!

Had the Black Garlic Ramen and really recommend it. The flavours were spot on, the portion size was generous, and they definitely don’t skimp on the pork — plenty of it! Food came out really quickly too. Place is pretty busy, but they seem to turn tables at a decent rate without leaving you feeling rushed.

Very good service, delicious ramen. Always friendly staff and quick. I am a regular. However, as of last week they’ve suddenly added the American system of including automatic tips when paying. Even in Japan you are never expected to tip … Decent waiter salaries are covered by the employer by law in the Netherlands! Why did management come up with this ‘innovation’? I’m very annoyed by this kind of greed.

If you want to eat an amazing ramen, this is the place. The food was amazing. The staff is super friendly, kind and helpful. The only thing is the air quality in the restaurant should be improved, after the dinner all of my clothes smelled like ramen. Other that, an amazing ramen experience.

What a wonderful experience this was on Kinkerstraat. Everything served looked incredibly well-presented and appetizing. The ramen was fantastic, and the addition of the cube of butter made the soup deliciously creamy. The gyoza and the various side dishes were also perfectly prepared. I will definitely be back here soon for another bowl.

The broth was rich, creamy, and clearly prepared with great care. The service was efficient and very friendly, ensuring a smooth experience from start to finish. The "Sfeer" is lively and cozy, making it the perfect environment to enjoy a hot bowl of ramen. It is definitely a 5-star spot and a must-visit for foodies!

An enjoyable place to have a few beers and a bowl of ramen. We didn't have a reservation, but were able to get a seat - others who came in after us weren't so lucky, so better to be safe than sorry! All of our food was delivered quickly and was fresh, the service was very good, and the vibes were fun - but the noodles themselves felt a little too chewy for my personal preference. The broth was very good, though.

Very kind and accommodating staff! I have a keto-diet so they served me ramen without noodles ( I know it's crazy, right? ; )) and added a couple of eggs instead. Just the perfect meal for me when im out on the streets of Amsterdam, while most other vendors sell meals that contain a lot of carbs. Amazing taste too! excellent broth!

I recently visited Takumi Ramen Kitchen - Kinkerstraat and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The portion size was generous, and the toppings were fresh and well-prepared. Service was fast and efficient, even though the place was quite busy. The staff were friendly and kept everything moving smoothly. Prices are reasonable considering the quality and portion size, especially for Amsterdam. Overall, Takumi Kinkerstraat is a fantastic spot if you’re craving authentic, comforting ramen. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more from their menu. Highly recommended!

For some reason I always go to Umaimon for ramen. Thought I'd try another one of their outlets for a change. The ramen was flavorful, the toppings were nice, the kaarage juicy and crisp. Nothing to complain about. Good job!

The food is delicious, but they have this annoying habit of forgetting to give items to the delivery driver, leaving you with an incomplete order. When you call to ask if they'll bring it anyway, you're told they don't have their own delivery drivers and that you should just claim it from your delivery service. Of course, incidents can happen, but it's not uncommon. It's a real shame, because the food is actually excellent.

We had a very good experience at this restaurant. It's well located, with a tram stop nearby. The service was very welcoming. We ordered Tokyo Shoyu ramen and Teriyaki Curry. We also had a bottle of water and homemade iced tea to drink. The prices were reasonable.

Takumi never fails to deliver, in whichever city i go to them. The food is always on point and the service is kind and helpful.

A truly comforting experience. Exquisite service and incredible food. Definitely 5 stars!! It's worth venturing a little outside the city center to find places like this. Tram 7 drops you off right next door.

Good grief, where do all the positive reviews come from?! Yes, the service is really very friendly and attentive, but that's about it. The teriyaki had a disgusting sauce, like Maggi from a packet, everything arrived super fast, but was also prepared incredibly unimaginatively… I feel a bit sick, especially after I went to the toilet there, it was so filthy, yuck! And you pay almost 20 euros for that.

Takumi is definitely one of my favorite Ramen places in Amsterdam, staff are always super nice and helpful and the food is great.

I've been here a year+ ago and had a delicious ramen, with black garlic. This time my soul was craving for curry and I wasn't disappointed. Excellent rice to curry to chicken ratio, curry is thick as it should be and chicken has golden crisp skin and juicy meat. I would recommend 10/10, especially during cold times. Btw, look at the size of the portion, it's huge! Waiters are kind and a bit shy, lovely people.

This was by far the best Japanese Don I’ve had in the Netherlands! After our pottery painting session yesterday, my best friend and I were craving some good soul food — and Takumi Tonkotsu Ramen Amsterdam absolutely delivered. We arrived on Saturday around 14:15–14:20, and more than half of the tables were already occupied. Even though we didn’t have a reservation, the staff were super friendly and quickly found us a table. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, perfectly matching the kindness of the team. We started with the Yuzu Lemonade, Spicy Okonomi Karaage, Teriyaki, and Ebi Furai Gyoza Don. The Yuzu Lemonade was incredibly refreshing — honestly worth every bit of the €5 — and paired beautifully with the chewy, flavorful Spicy Karaage Chicken and juicy Teriyaki. The real star, though, was the Ebi Furai Gyoza Don. We ordered it as a set with miso soup and salad on the side, which made for a hearty and well-balanced meal. Since we were sharing, the staff even brought us an extra bowl, spoon, and fork — such a thoughtful gesture! The ebi tempura was wonderfully crispy, the gyoza had the perfect chew, and the vegetables with rice tied the whole dish together perfectly. We left completely satisfied and already can’t wait to return to try more dishes. I’ve officially added this place to my favourites!

The best ramen in my neighborhood, i like the ramens here way more than the curry , i always receive dry rice with it , maybe it’s just my luck i don’t know ! Plus the curry it self is not really any better than Japanese curries i tried before! The purple cheese cake is a waste of money in my opinion.. it was really bad ! But ! The main and the most important is the ramen .. and i love their ramen, i never can complete that huge portion.. friendly staff , but i was served the food before the cutlery during several visits . One last important tip , please be carful of cleaning the dust of the lamps above the tables, sometimes when people opens the door the tiny dusts come in my food , and even make me sneeze. Anyways i showed the waiter yesterday how dusty was the lamp .. it’s not that hard to clean it once a week at least ! But still i love the place and i go there often !

We had the garlic Tonkotsu Ramen with extra spice. The soup was absolutely delicious. Nicely seasoned broth and great toppings, what more can you want.

Good food at fair prices and really excellent service

I absolutely loved my experience at Takumi ramen :) I had a real craving for a nice hearty meal and this did not disappoint at all. Despite a short 10 minute wait (it was a busy day), we were seated in a nice area with a friendly waiter. The service throughout was fantastic and prompt. We got one Pork Tonkotsu ramen and one Vegan Shoyu Ramen. Both were exceptional. The quality of the broth and ingredients were top notch and prepared with care. The decor of the place stood out in a positive way as well. Overall it was a great time and I would recommend to others.

As far as our limited experience went, Foodhallen is overrated. This, right next door, is the real deal though. Lovely generous ramen bowls, good gyozas and all over very nice food. Service is fairly quick and the servers are friendly. We went twice. Thumbs up.
