Ramen Impossible in Burgwallen-Oude Zijde

Very good vegan Ramen. They are creating thier own type of ramens that we didn't have in any other place. The price is a bit high and the unigiri was not that good. Highly suggesting to try only the Ramen

Passing through Amsterdam, great discovery while visiting the Red Light District We came across this restaurant with plenty of room and what's more, your ramen is really delicious! We don't speak English very well but the waitress guided us well 😊 French tourists

Quite disappointed, the ramen is well rated but in fact the broth is very greasy, there is a lot of noise inside because they run their kitchen appliances. And also, even the non-spicy ramens are still spicy so not very pleasant to eat. Honestly I have made other ramens much better than this one in Amsterdam

Everything I could have asked for: delicious, rich broth with fresh vegetables and almost creamy noodles, in a friendly but quiet atmosphere. It's very nice to see the kitchen there as you eat and they have a lovely selection of teas, too. Perfect for a cold day.

The best ramen I have ever had in my entire life 😍 sad to know that I will never try it again 🥲. If you are looking for ramen in Amsterdam, don't hesitate to go with these young guys 💜

Was in Amsterdam for a day and checked happy cow for the nearest Vegan restaurant and found this gem! (1 week exactly after posting this) My partner and I were greeted by the waiter, she gave us a seat, explained we can order using the QR (I love the convivence) We ordered cauliflower tempura and shrimp katsu as our sides and for a main go tan tan ramen. We shared our main cos we get full very quickly. Our sides came first, then the ramen, the guy I think he was cooking or serving but he gave me a small bowl for my partner and I to share the ramen which was thoughtful! I appreciated that! I'm not an easy pleaser but everything was super delicious. It was tasty and healthy, it was a very enjoyable memorable experience. The tan tan ramen is something I would love to get again. Love to try to the tofu ice cream next time :) Only thing was they ran out of beer and sake on the day.

No scrums left on these plates. I had the creamy garlic ramen, and I loved the flavours, portions. As a side I had the coliflour and it was tasty. Absolutely loved their fully vegan 🌱 approach and the kind and friendly waitresses. Loved it!! 🥰

No beer? No Sake? Half the menu items unavailable? Gluten free noodles on the menu but not available. Wipe the tables maybe once a day or so? Just a "smile no" is all you get here folks. Front of house looks like a loading dock. Put the one star there while I was in the restaurant, would have put zero, but hey.

They offered tap water for a very long time, and now they’ve stopped. I don’t see why we should support a business that disregards sustainability. By switching from tap water to bottled options, they’re contributing to unnecessary plastic waste and environmental harm. It’s disappointing to see a step backward in eco-conscious practices when reducing waste should be a priority. What’s worse, ever since they’ve become more known, they seem driven by greed, prioritizing profit over the environment and customer experience. This shift is unacceptable and shows a lack of integrity.

I’m from Vancouver, Canada 🇨🇦, and this is one of the best Ramen I have had. I can’t consider myself a Ramen connoisseur, but I’m a foodie and the dish is very well put together! Everything works in the dish. Well balanced with a nice texture. The ordering process can be improved, but it’s ok.

Ordering is done by scanning a QR code at your seat. Staff are very friendly and the food was very tasty. Every dish is vegan and the pasta is homemade. This is where you get the best ramen in the Netherlands.

We came to Amsterdam from london for a few days and this was a great spot. Everything was delicious and cooked perfectly and the staff were lovely! We loved it so much we came twice :)

A cozy restaurant with very tasty ramen and the service was so nice.

We had dinner here as a larger group. The food selection is diverse and there are extras/toppings for every main course. The dishes were all delicious and the bowls were well filled. The team was very nice, extremely patient (our group took a little longer to choose the dish) and language savvy (Dutch, English, Japanese), so communication was quite easy. If we don't get the opportunity to visit Amsterdam once, then another visit would be very likely 😁🤗

Unfortunately, we did not have a great experience 😕, we made a reservation days in advance, order appetizers, ramen and drinks and after 35 minutes we were told they needed the table in 10 minutes. We felt rushed and I couldn't finish my food 😔. I think they should be more clear during the reservation process about the maximum time people can stay in the restaurant.

The food is amazing! You can tell that the food is cooked in-house and that no run-of-the-mill standard products from wholesalers are used. One portion is also very good in terms of quantity. The staff is very friendly. The only criterion is the ambience. It is sparsely furnished and looks run down. The tables are also too small. Would come by again.

At this 100% vegan ramen restaurant, I had the spicy Amaze Men with a small seitan katsu on the side. It was one of the best mazemen I’ve ever had, even compared to those in Japan. The vegan mazemen was impressively delicious, featuring a creamy and spicy sauce with a strong flavor. The peeled tomato was well-prepared, and the noodles had an excellent, consistent texture. The cauliflower tempura was also nicely done, adding a pleasant crunch to the meal. The seitan katsu, while decent, was not particularly remarkable. Despite that minor letdown, the overall experience was outstanding, showcasing how good vegan mazemen can be. I would just recommend Rating (by Japanese standards): 17/20

A decent attempt at tackling the impossibility of a vegan ramen. The noodles were excellent and the soup was quite good thanks to a flavourful oil and well executed toppings. However, I did not like the meat substitutes for the katsu, shrimp and takoyaki - it was all doughey and I would have preferred vegetables. Unfortunately I am also left with an unmistakable and far too strong MSG aftertaste

I stopped by because I needed some warm soup on a rainy day, and everything was great thanks to the friendly staff in the store!

I had the pleasure of dining in this restaurant and I was very satisfied with the quality of the food. The ramen were particularly tasty and exceeded my expectations. However, I find that the price is a bit high for this type of dish, which should remain affordable and accessible to all. In Paris, a good ramen usually costs between 12 and 13 euros. Good general experience!

Really good ramen with a good combination of flavours. Home made noodles. But the corn flavour took over a little bit, and I would have wished for a little bit more kimchi on top. All vegan from what I could see but I would also really recommend meat eaters to go here as well. A bit on the expensive side but worth it. The staff were very nice and welcoming and I got a feeling of a family environment with people liking what they do. Small and neutral place with an open view into the kitchen. You order and pay easily via your phone.

If you didn't know, you wouldn't notice that the ramen is vegan - incredibly tasty and highly recommended. Very small restaurant, you order via app. There is a 2nd floor which can be reached through a very interesting staircase.

Incredible food! The Ramen was outstanding, some of the best I've ever had (with 2 japan trips under my belt), and the vegan takoyaki was better than one I had at a dedicated place in Osaka. Very reccomended. Staff were sweethearts. Atmosphere I've got no strong feelings about either way, music was good. Go here even if you're a steak guy. Travel here if you're vegan.

Absolutely delicious! I lived in Japan, so I'm often disappointed with many ramen in Europe, but this was one of my favourites. Had the miso katsu and it was beautiful. Friendly Japanese staff too.

Very delicious ramen. Smiley and professional staff 1) They were not fully able to communicate in English, but if you speak slowly and patiently, they are more than happy to help. Appreciated! 2) Order came later than usual. We had to recheck with waitress xD. But the taste of Katsu Miso was worth waiting

I visited last Monday with some friends. Very much literally the best food I ever ate in the Netherlands, full stop. Super friendly service, fair prices and for us nineties kids even good 90's and early 2000's rock. Place doesn't look spectacular but it doesn't have to if the food and staff speak for themselves. Make sure you go here, have a little chat with the friendly people, and let them recommend the food. Got to love simple looking places with a short, specialised menu. That's where the good stuff is.

I had the white creamy one soup ramen (21 euro). My stomach afterwards didn't agree with my choice :/. I had cramps and the food left my body fast.

Hidden gem in the middle of the touristic red light district. My boyfriend and I have eaten at Ramen impossible for the first time last month, and have been back 7 times at least. So far we’ve tried the spicy white & spicy miso and katsu ramen and they’ve both been consistently delicious every time we ordered! Very authentic, beautiful and creamy, a must try!! Best ramen in Amsterdam !❤️

A small place with only a couple of different dishes to choose from. Courteous staff who split our portion into two bowls, as we were an adult and a child. There were no children's portions on the menu. Really good! Recommended. Fried vegan prawns were perfect to start with.

I love Ramen, but rarely can i find vegan ones that are similar to the ones i cook for myself 🤪 so far. this one is sooo good 😊 staff is super nice and orders (drinks) are served very fast. Ramen is individually cooked. you can order through a web page that is opened via QR code that already includes the table number i love that!! (quite good for introverts like me that struggle to talk to the waiter and remember everything and every special wish haha).

We ordered spicy white ramen and silk white ramen. These were the best ramen that we had so far, even compared to the ramen that we ate in Japan. The soup was hot and the soup and ramen tasted so good, not salty. Highly recommended if you want ramen.

Very delicious food. If someone wants to try the real taste of ramen, they must visit this restaurant while in Amsterdam. When placing an order, we scan the QR code on the table, which redirects us to the menu page. We pay immediately and in a few minutes our food is on the table. There is not much to choose from on the menu, but this is rather an advantage because what is available is prepared with the greatest precision and taste. I recommend it 🤍✨

I ate my first ramen here. It was so tasty. Just great. There are 3 different ramen, one normal and one spicy. This is exactly right here. Instead of a lot of choice, simply limited to the essentials and incredibly fresh and delicious.
