Kwalitaria Ommen in Ommen

One day I ate ice cream and another day I had a Frikandel Special with farmer's fries. It tasted very good. Prices are okay.

The food took a really long time and they didn't have a milkshake while the people in front of us just got one to go.

It takes way too long; other customers get a milkshake but we don't; the forks break off; a friend of mine gets his money back for a milkshake even though he had already paid.

Back on holiday in Ommen and, as usual, had another delicious meal at this snack bar; really quality food and friendly staff. Definitely worth repeating, truly top-notch!

The food is very good for fast food standards. What's more, it's presented in a very original way, quite unlike the usual fast food chains. The prices are absolutely reasonable. I would go again.

Chicken red on the inside. You shouldn't be there when it's busy. I'd rather wait a little longer for it to be good. Does not apply to this tent. Shame. And posted today. UPDATE Ate it yesterday and put it in the bin!!! I am very strong verbally. But saw that it was very busy behind the counter. And as the owner of this business, this... It is wrong to take the attack when someone puts something down that you don't like. My chicken was anything but cooked. Have a nice day!!!

We had a delicious meal! Delicious schnitzel, the soft ice cream is super tasty, and the staff is friendly. The food was ready quickly. We will be back soon! A solid 5 stars

A "patat oorlog" (fries with various toppings) where the sauce is separate from the sauce on top is, in my opinion, a real shame. It is precisely the fact that it is on top that makes it special. The fries and sauces were fine otherwise. The bamischijf, on the other hand, was not fried properly. The crust was not crispy but limp and tasted like a breadcrumb ball. Very disappointing, and I didn't finish eating it. This was the first time at the Kwalitaria since 'Guus Flater' closed down the cafeteria. Where, by the way, the food was always great. Will we come back 🤔? I still have to think about that. But everyone deserves a second chance, right?

In the mood for fries made from real potatoes, not compressed factory mashed potatoes? Then DO NOT!!! go to the Kwalitaria in Ommen. What a huge disappointment! Thin sticks with a limp filling held together by a thin membrane. It is a shame that our age-old potato fries have degenerated into this kind of unappetizing concoction. Now I’ll just have to look for a cafeteria that delivers good value (real fries) for your money. If necessary, go to Lidl and buy fresh fries and a bottle of good oil there and get to work myself. As consolation: The fricandel was fine at Kwalitaria.

Ordered two menus, one with a hamburger and one with a satay sauce. Neither was warm enough, and the coleslaw was squirting out of a can. It was overpriced for the quality.

We had a delicious meal at Kwalitaria Ommen today! The crispy chicken burger and fries were truly fantastic: fresh, well-seasoned, and a bit more luxurious than you'd expect at a regular snack bar. The restaurant looked neat, and the staff were friendly. The only minor drawback: the posters advertised a special Autumn milkshake, but unfortunately, it wasn't available because the machine was turned off—even though it was the middle of autumn. It's a shame, because we were really looking forward to it. Otherwise, it was a great experience and I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a tasty yet affordable meal in Ommen. I'll definitely be back!

The service was okay. Not very enthusiastic. I had a spring roll, and it wasn't very warm (there were cold bits in it at the end). I reported this, and I found the response to be rather inattentive. Too bad, I think there's room for improvement!

Just always good and good service

Luckily, I was able to get in quite late for dinner. It was a shame, though, that the chairs and stools were already on the tables waiting to be cleaned. I understand, but I still felt it was a shame.

We went here for dinner because we saw it was busy, and we were on vacation, so it was a gamble... well, it was truly delicious, so fresh! I had a burger and fries, what a generous portion, and a really tasty salad with it. Super friendly staff, great service. We enjoyed the food so much that we went back today, and it was delicious again, this time the crunchy chicken pesto. Highly recommended! Everyone was friendly, and we'll definitely be back next year. I think it's so impressive that despite the crowds, they deliver such high quality food. You're doing really well!

Bought two goulash croquette sandwiches (which were delicious). It's a shame they put the goulash croquette on a roll that came out of the refrigerator, causing it to cool down. I reported it, and they said, "But the croquette was good?" which is what I already said. Is this encouraging criticism (tip) what I call it, or is that how they see it?

The fries were really dry, but the service was good, but the fries weren't that tasty either. The sausage was very good, so I give it 5 stars. The cheese on the burger wasn't melted properly, but the frikandel is delicious. If I were you, I'd definitely go to Kwalitaria for frikandels. For frikandel lovers, definitely go to Kwalitaria. I give the food a 2.5, the service a 3.5, and the sausage was really great, so I give it a 5. So, I personally give it a 2.8.

Vacationing in the area with a group of friends. After a long walk, we settled in here. Saturday evening, it was busy, but the service was friendly and the food arrived quickly. Hats off!

The taste was okay! The burger was the best, but it gets a 6.5, which is not great. The cheese soufflé was overcooked, so unfortunately, there was no cheese left. The €10 summer roll was a small pita with some chicken and vegetables in it. The delivery person was friendly, great!

In short, people, you've been warned! Cold reception at Kwalitaria Ommen 🧊🍟 After a long 25-minute wait (!), we were finally able to place our order. There's no menu outside, let alone online viewing. Handy, in 2025. Once we ordered, after another 25 minutes, we asked where our food was. It was busy, as we could see. But with so many chip shop smurfs running around behind the counter, you'd think there was some kind of progress. Our buzzer went off—hurrah!—but the celebration lasted exactly one bite: everything was ice cold. Seriously, as if it had been sitting in the basket above the fryer for hours. 🧊 I politely pointed this out at the counter, but was immediately publicly ridiculed by an older woman who felt the need to shout across the restaurant: "THE FRIKANDEL IS COLD!" Subtlety apparently isn't their strong suit. Someone else cheerfully shouted back from the frying pan that they "only sell cold frikandellen." Hilarious. Or well, it would be if we'd come here for the comedy club instead of a hot meal. The frikandel was finally thrown onto the counter with a theatrical arc. The croquette turned out to be ice cold as well, but after this performance, we weren't in the mood for a second round of public humiliation. Maybe it's time for a refresher course in Hospitality & Frying for Beginners. And a little competition in Ommen wouldn't hurt—maybe they'll end up back on the snack bar floor.

We come from Vroomshoop to eat at Kwalitaria, it doesn't get any better than this. Well, sometimes we have to wait a little longer because of the crowds, but then it tastes even better. Never had anything cold before and what a hard-working team, hats off to them. If you want good food and to be served with a smile, go to Kwalitaria Ommen.

QUALITY Sauce, great. Fries stay hot for a long time, served on time. I ordered half a chicken, was tasty, 8/10. Drink price on the high side, but reasonable. Service excellent. Tidy, neat toilets and a cozy dining area, nicely and quietly decorated. No music I thought, fine like this. Music often gives haste, now you could really eat quietly compared to other fast food chains.

Tasty food, especially the bull burger

We are in Ommen with the boat and don't feel like cooking, so today we went to the local snack bar for a plate (Satay, Chicken Schnitzel and Hamburger). It just seems like a 1000 in 1 snack bar, you order your food at the counter, get a buzzer that goes off when it's ready and you can pick up your meal at the counter. And expect some plastic containers and cutlery filled with greasy food. But now let that snack bar bite be neatly served and also taste excellent. Excellent taste and more than enough. Many restaurants can benefit from this. Of course it remains just to collect and clear away yourself, but the price reflects that.
