We regularly order the top-notch bruschetta al pomodora and calzone pollo with its delicious homemade bolognese sauce, which is served in a separate container. You can taste in the food that the chef prepares it with passion time after time; I say, definitely keep up the good work.

Friendly owner and good service. The pizzas are very tasty and well baked. You get a warm bread roll with herb butter beforehand. We had a generously filled calzone and a Pizza La Madonna. It is not a very large restaurant, but it is spaciously laid out, and there are also a few tables outside.

How lovely, a summer evening, ordered 2 pizzas online, picked them up ourselves, and enjoyed them together on the garden bench with a nice drink. They were delicious, a Capricciosa and a Tonno with extra capers, pure bliss!

The pizzas are of good quality; my favorite starter is funghi al parmigiano. The bruschetta al pomodoro is also delicious. The service is always friendly, and the atmosphere is always pleasant.

I come to Haarlem specifically to eat here. The starters, main courses, and desserts are delicious. The service is amazing; the people are very sweet and work very hard with a passion for the business. The atmosphere is cozy, snug, and homey.

We had a delicious meal; we shared the focaccia as a starter. The vegetarian ravioli and seafood spaghetti were both very tasty and served nice and hot, as were the pizzas we saw passing by! Piping hot and beautifully thin. A perfect cup of coffee with sambuca to finish (with beans and optional flambé), TOP! It is a very neat restaurant, stylishly decorated. Very affordable and friendly service. The selection is extensive (including tasty vegetarian options), it was pleasantly busy (a good sign), and there was also a lot of takeout.

Delicious pizza and wine - and friendly service too!

We had a delicious meal here! The pizzas: frutti di Mare with many types of fish and quattro stagione with 4 types of cheese were very tasty, with crispy crusts. The dessert: Cassate, an Italian dessert with ice cream, fruit, nuts, and chocolate, was particularly good. We will definitely be back!

If you like soggy, greasy, and salty food, this is the place to go. Special requests for the food get lost somewhere in the order. If you point this out after delivery, they simply deny it. Poor service.

Tonight I had a cappuccino, a 4-cheese pizza, and a cassation. I know of three 5-star Italian pizzerias in Haarlem. Here, mediocrity reigned supreme.

All the food was really good. Friendly and attentive service. Neat and clean restaurant; we had reservations. Comfortable chairs and plenty of space. The price is for all courses (main course and dessert). Italian music played during the meal. Perhaps a bit less lighting would have made it more inviting.

Good ambience, value for money, good pizza

While visiting family in Haarlem, we decided to grab a bite to eat in the evening. We placed an order in advance for pickup at 5:30 PM. We waited a maximum of 10 minutes to get pizza and pasta for six people. Everyone was very pleased with the quality. I had a pizza calzone, which was delicious and generously filled. A truly great place.

Three years later. Restaurant is disappointing. Pizzas not tasty, pastas so, so. Shame had potential. Doesn't make it true. Update. Ideal pick-up service during Corona. Chef makes your food while you wait. Starts with your dish when you come in, wait a while. Fresh and warm. Brilliant timing!! How nice to have an Italian here again. The previous one was suddenly gone. What would a neighborhood like this do without an Italian restaurant? New name, new look. Nicely renovated, nice people. Pizzas are perfectly fine.

Since the menu is in Italian I expected proper Italian pizza. I was disappointed. The pizza left me unsatisfied. The waitress showed little interest in customers.

Ordered food. Pizza with grilled vegetables and a separate cup of bolognese sauce. This pizza was good. Actually better than normal. Pizzas here are something of a higher atmosphere in the mouth. Top.

Delicious pizzas for a fair price

After a few misses, I have now placed another order after more than a year. 1x a pizza Calzone and 3x lasagna with minced meat sauce. Total for €56,-- Fortunately, everything was fine this time. The taste was good and everything was thoroughly warm. The owner/cook is still the nice man in the kitchen and the owner is the sullen, unsmiling woman behind the cash register.

5.50 for a tiny glass of wine with a screw cap... That's a bit expensive... I got an extra sip for 1.50. Well, it doesn't end there. The wine was decent.

Tastiest pizza in the Netherlands and good service. I give la Madonna a 9.5! Only the atmosphere needs some improvement (bright light, could be a lot darker with some candles or etc). But I'll definitely be back

Leuk buurtrestaurant! Makkelijk met kleine kinderen, superleuke persoonlijke bediening. Sure, buiten pizza/pasta komt er wel eens wat uit de vriezer maar dat past er bij.

De chef en de bediening waren beide erg vriendelijk. Heerlijk gegeten voor een schappelijke prijs. Zeker een aanrader.

Een beetje een tegenvaller vandaag. Een pizza napolitano en een calzone genomen. De gewone pizza was nat en klef en de anjovis was graterig. De calzone was smakeloos en de groente die er in zaten waren zo goed als rauw. De foccaccia als vooraf was daaromheen wel goed. Zal hier niet zo gauw teruggaan.

Alle tafels bezet, thuisbezorgd bestellingen, afhaal bestellingen, telefoon rinkelend en dan nog met 15 minuten een heerlijk/smakelijk bord pasta klaar! Kan maar 1 ding betekenen, deze ondernemers hebben het dik voor elkaar!

Ik wilde mijn jongste twee kinderen (9 en 11) eens gezellig trakteren op een pizza van een echt restaurant ipv weer bestellen bij New York oid, dus gereserveerd bij La Madonna. Helaas bleek men hier voornamelijk bezig met het bedienen van een voortdurende stroom aan Thuisbezorgd.nl koeriers die in en uit het restaurant lopen. Na 1 rondje drinken ruim een uur moeten wachten op het voorgerecht, en niemand aan de tafel gehad. Het zijn duidelijk (2) hardwerkende mensen, maar wellicht beter kiezen voor 100÷ afhaal/bezorgen, of personeel aannemen, want qua restaurant ervaring was het ronduit waardeloos. Pizzas uiteindelijk meegenomen en thuis opgegeten, smaakten op zich goed.

De medewerkers zijn ontzettend klantvriendelijk en de service is erg snel. De pizza’s hebben een lekkere knapperige bodem en zijn ontzettend lekker. Ik heb genoten ☺️

Eerlijk gezegd is het bijna een jaar geleden dat we hier hebben gegeten. Maar als ik sommige recente reviews lees, zijn sommige dingen niet veranderd. Pizza en pasta (ravioli) waren lekker. Niks mis mee. Maar de “huisgemaakte” tiramisu was volgens mij die ene van de Albert Heijn die ik vaker heb gegeten (of was het die van Lidl of Dekamarkt?). Kijk ik heb soms gewoon trek in kant en klare tiramisu, dan ga je naar een supermarkt. Maar wanneer je naar een restaurant gaat, dan ga je voor vers gemaakt eten. En deze tiramisu was gewoon in een fabriek gemaakt met van die ruiten aan de bovenkant weet je wel? Google het maar. We zijn na die ene keer ook nooit meer geweest. Echt jammer! Je kan klanten winnen met simpel goed voedsel, maar ik hoor Gordon Ramsey al schreeuwen “do you guys even care?!” Helaas. Het antwoord is blijkbaar nee…

Heerlijk gegeten met de familie. Verzorgd eten en vriendelijke bediening. Zeker de moeite waard om weer eens terug te komen.

Voor de tweede keer pizza's afgehaald. Ze waren beide keren heerlijk. Lekker dunne bodem en goed gevuld. Vriendelijk personeel.

Op een dag zat ik eens te scrollen op Thuisbezorgd, waarbij ik het restaurant La Madonna vond. Hier heb ik vervolgens een Pizza Pepperoni besteld, de pizza was goed bereid en je proefde ook écht de verse producten, geen rotzooi. Na dit nog fysiek een paar keer langsgeweest en ben er altijd erg vriendelijk behandeld. Een aanrader dus!

Wow.. dit is uniek in deze buurt. Deze keer pizza. Rijk belegd, verse groentes en zeer goede smaak .. en duurde denk ik 38 min. Kwalitatief het beste in afgelopen 10 jaar.

Mijn calzone was smaakloos (flauw) en blijkbaar moesten ze van de ham en champignons af want de hele bodem lag hier vol mee Een enorme tegenvaller en een halve calzone in de kliko

Gisteravond hier met familie gegeten. Echt heerlijke gerechten, wilden bijna de borden aflikken voor laatste restje saus, zo lekker! Vriendelijke bediening. Wij komen hier zeker terug!

Zijn bij dit restaurant terechtgekomen via Socialdeal bonnen. En we werden blij verrast. Persoonlijk ben ik niet zo van het uiteten bij de Italiaan maar het voorafje dat ik had, Scampi's, was werkelijkwaar heerlijk. Een Calzone pizza als hoofdgerecht en toe hadden we alle drie Tiramizu. Hier kun je goed eten voor een leuk bedrag.
