The price is exaggeratedly high for the quality you get. I am Italian and i‘ve never seen a Margherita like this for 16 euros … the service was nice but the ambiente fell short of expectations. Not coming back here.

It's incredibly sad how little they put on a pizza; the salami pizza had four slices of salami on it. The tables are so close together that you have to push them to get up. There's no air conditioning, and even with the windows open, it's very stuffy.

Unfortunately, the restaurant is far too crowded and the tables are much too close together. Eating in peace is impossible. The salad was a complete disappointment for the price. The pizza was mediocre; there are definitely better options.

Very mixed feelings. The storefront was very nice, the interior bright, and the decor typical of Italy. There were plenty of tables available, but the waiter directed us upstairs, where we entered a veritable canteen: benches, tightly packed tables, and a noisy atmosphere. Just as we were about to leave, given the ambiance, the owner stopped us and finally offered us a table on the ground floor (the customers are clearly already pre-screened based on appearance). Once seated, the waiter insisted we order a drink. We asked for a carafe, but it never arrived despite repeated requests. The pizzas were okay, but the ingredients were of questionable quality: canned artichokes that were barely warmed, and a dry (almost burnt) crust. The waiters didn't smile and handed us our plates without even bothering to set the table. The service was absolutely deplorable, especially considering the menu prices, which were significantly higher than those of other restaurants in the area.

Excellent food with a calming and cozy atmosphere. The service was impeccable, especially from the blond waiter. He was really educated and he was constantly checking if everything was fine with us. Good that I live here because this is my new favorite place for pizza ;)

Very crowded and cramped overall. While the price-performance ratio is typical for Amsterdam, food is significantly more expensive here compared to other European cities. The taste was rather average, sometimes even bland – nothing special. Not a place I would need to visit again.

Amazing restaurant the pasta is the best I have ever had

The restaurant itself is like something out of Italy: small, cramped, but charming. The staff are friendly and try to serve quickly. The food isn't worth the money, especially if you know what a good pizza should be. The pizza is terrible value for money. I understand that everything is more expensive in Amsterdam. The Margherita is worth €5 at most, not €15. What a shame.

We came to this place because we were hungry and it was convenient from where we’re staying. Unfortunately, we were seated on the top floor, which felt outdated and not very clean. I actually had to wipe the table myself as it felt dirty. We ordered pizza, but it was quite ordinary and nothing special. The only thing I enjoyed was the ginger ale. Overall, it wasn’t a great experience and I wouldn’t rush back.

We arrived without a reservation and there was no problem. They have an upstairs area with more tables. The food was very good and reasonably priced. The service was excellent.

If you’re looking for a peaceful Italian dinner, this is absolutely the wrong place , unless your idea of “ambience” is shouting over nightclub-level noise. It felt more like I’d accidentally walked into a bar than a restaurant. The tables were so close together we might as well have all introduced ourselves and shared the food. Zero privacy. Amazing design choice. Guess what? Being charged for tap water. Joke! First time in my life I’ve seen a restaurant charge for something that literally comes out of a faucet. After we finished eating, we then enjoyed a bonus 30minutes wait just to get the bill. Great way to end the experience. Honestly, this place is seriously overrated. The food wasn’t even average , I’ve had better Italian meals pretty much everywhere else.

We had dinner there and unfortunately, we didn't enjoy it at all. The food (we had pizza) was delicious and arrived quickly, but the staff was incredibly unfriendly and impatient. Whether ordering, waiting, or paying, we were mostly spoken to in a very stern and annoyed tone. Tables were also cleared while other people were still eating. The music was so loud that we ended up with a headache and no conversation. The restaurant itself looked great and had a lovely interior. Nevertheless, we wouldn't recommend this place.

An Italian place. I tried the chicken pizza and the basil pesto pizza with pesto pasta. I didn't like them much, but they were satisfying. They have seating upstairs and downstairs; the downstairs one is better. It's nice, near Dam Square.

A classic tourist trap I've ordered a pizza with mushrooms and black olives and received exactly 6 black olives on my pizza. They weren't even evenly distributed. My partner had a salami pizza with rucola that was too oily for my liking. The pizzas came uncut and it was a bit difficult to cut it. The place was extremely packed with people and screaming children and the tables were so close together I was half a meter away from another person. When I got up to go wash my hands in the restroom, my partner and the people sitting 0.5 meter away from us had to move the table for me so that I could pass through. I then found out the sink in the female bathroom was broken and I had to use the one in the male bathroom, which was very dirty. I've also ordered tea and I got it, but instead of receiving a spoon like a normal person, I got a single piece of straw that is given to animals?? And of course, it fell on the ground within 5 minutes because it was so light. The restaurant has a perfect location on the main square and I think they purposefully choose to be a tourist trap - they give you high prices but the quality of food you get is just bad. I advise you to walk about 500 metres away from the main square and I'm sure you'll find much better food for a lower price. For 2 pizzas, 1 tea and 1 beer we paid 50 euros.

I went there the first week of November 2025. The kitchen is open to the pizza maker. However, all he did was blow his nose and spit into a bin. While he was spitting in a bin, it was still absolutely disgusting, firstly while he was preparing our pizzas by hand right after blowing his nose, and secondly when we were about to eat while he was spitting—it was nauseating. So it was impossible to eat anything in this disgusting restaurant. Avoid it! Under the negative reviews, the restaurant claims there have been changes, which is FALSE.

Food was amazing, we had lasagna and a pizza both were incredible and you could tell it was all fresh! Service wasn’t the best, a little bit slow to get served initially/get cutlery etc however a few big groups in so didn’t let it affect the experience! Definitely Recommend

We were served without a reservation, partly because we arrived quite late for that time of year. The place has two floors, so there's plenty of space. We ordered pesto gnocchi and tomato gnocchi. They were absolutely delicious, and you can watch them cook right there. The waitress was very friendly, and the service was quick. It's true that we thought it was a bit pricey. The water is very small, and it's €3.50 per person. Overall, both the service and the food were very good, but a little expensive.

One of the best restaurants I've had in Amsterdam

Best pizza in Amsterdam, I went there for dinner with a few friends. We received truly excellent service from friendly guys who serve truly delicious pizzas. The atmosphere is great, and I'm sad I only just discovered they're here now, otherwise I would have been here much more often. But from now on, it's my regular pizzeria!

It was nice but way to expensive for portions way to small. The Pizza was burnt and the gnochi where not home made.

I can't understand the good reviews. The pizzas tasted like nothing; I've had much better. The drinks were flat. To me, the whole place is more of a tourist trap. Never again.

You get your money's worth. The food was delicious, and the portions were generous. The staff were friendly and helpful. The restrooms were filthy, though: the floor was full of water, the trash can was overflowing, and there were lots of small flies.

Great surprise in Amsterdam. Good food and excellent service.

This afternoon, I went here for dinner with my friend, and we ordered lasagna and pasta carbonara. The lasagna was still completely frozen, and we found a hair in the carbonara. We returned the food to the staff, and they apologized. The second time, they gave me a new lasagna that was still frozen. It was a real shame, and I didn't have a pleasant lunch. We also didn't receive a refund or a free dessert.

We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance in an excellent location and decided to have lunch! The dishes were great, we ordered the lasagna bolognese and the spaghetti bolognese and loved them. The waitress Esther was extremely friendly and helped us choose the right options, and the service was also super fast. Great value for money.

Great staff. Great food. I had the carbonara and garlic bread with glass of white wine. A great little spot off of Dam square.

I would like to highlight the excellent service we received from Miss Martina, who was extremely kind and friendly.

The Stuff was very friendly and helpful. The Orders delivered very fast. The Spaghetti weren't original thin Spaghetti but thats ok.

Off the cuff stop because we were looking for somewhere to eat around the Palace area. Beautiful little place where you can watch he pizzas being hand made in the window using fresh dough. This was excellent. The service was quick and the food was even better. Absolutely stunning food (pizza and pasta). Prices were spot on and what you would expect to pay, even with 2 glasses of wine and a large beer Definitely would recommend

Pretty good Italian pizza and eats, the ladies who serve you be working non stop as it's quite busy understandably, but feels rushed alot so, table to table. But no mistakes where made in the service and delivery thanks ladies again and keep up the great work. Overall a good place to get a bite to eat if your possible short on time. 🍕🍕🍕

I don't usually leave bad reviews, but I didn't enjoy my experience at this restaurant at all. It was crowded, and the staff continued to accept customers. The waiters repeatedly asked us to move our table to accommodate other people. I was hit with a chair twice because they were moving them over our heads while we were eating (not great for hygiene). Regarding the food, it was also a terrible disappointment... We ordered two drinks and two pasta dishes, but only our dishes were served. I like pasta al dente, but I found them almost raw. We finished our meal and asked for the bill. The waitress almost didn't believe me when I mentioned that we never received our drinks, but she finally noticed they were missing from our table when she cleared it. I won't be going back and recommend you move on if you can.

October 3, 2025 On September 23, we had a reservation for a group of 11 people for October 2. Yesterday, we were met with a closed door. When we asked at the shop next door about the renovations, it turned out they were renovating. It's a shame they couldn't let us know, but they did email me to ask for a review, so here it is.

The pizza crust is good. The food should be served quickly. Basic pizza is good, with beer.

What a lovely pizza in a cozy restaurant in the middle of Amsterdam’s busy city centre! We ordered both the Burrata and a La Piazza Speciale pizza and both were fantastic! Very tasty and well-made! The staff was also extremely pleasant and helpful! Lovely staff!

It was heavy on tomato sauce and cheese, with too little pasta, the cheese on top was too burnt for my personal taste. + The pizza was fine, though nothing particularly memorable. Overall, it’s a solid option if you’re hungry and want a quick bite, but not a place I’d recommend for a standout dining/lunch experience.

We arrived during dinner time without a reservation and had no trouble getting an outdoor table for two. The staff was friendly and spoke English, not Dutch. Our pizza arrived quickly, freshly made in the window, and it tasted great. Prices are on the higher side, but understandable given the location right next to the Royal Palace and Dam Square. The outdoor seating comes with individual heating cushions, although they didn’t seem to work during our visit. Keep in mind that the tables are placed directly on the sidewalk, so you’ll have many people passing by as you eat.
