Delicious sandwiches. The interior is a bit disappointing. But the delicious sandwiches more than make up for it.

A good lunch menu with plenty of options, even for vegetarians. Friendly service, and you can tell the food is delicious, as the tables are often full. It's a great place to stop for a bite to eat during or after shopping. We drive from Hoorn to Heerhugowaard just for it. Excellent!

Delicious food, but the sandwiches have deteriorated compared to the past. Sandwiches are smaller and less generously filled, unfortunately.

It was way too noisy but I think that's because the dining area is attached to the kitchen but there was really a lot of noise

Looks like a nice authentic eatery. Unfortunately the tableware is also very authentic and long overdue for replacement... The glasses are completely dull and scratched, cutlery is scratched and used so often that it is worn off at an angle. Then we come to the sandwiches, one was limp and the other rock hard. If you took a wrong bite your palate was damaged. 4 wafer-thin slices of grilled sausage for €8.75 but with 2 liters of sauce.

This place has a special place in my heart. They have good coffee, tasty sandwiches etc. friendly service.

Had lunch yesterday at La Terrasse, had a delicious Baguette with bacon, warm brie, honey and pine nuts, how delicious that was! Also very nice service!

We come here regularly and cannot agree with the latter comments at all. Therefore a counter-narrative. As far as we are concerned, the food is prepared with care, we do not experience any dirtiness and you feel very welcome. This is partly due to the polite waiting staff. The people behind the bar or cash register are also friendly. We will definitely continue to visit this small, cozy eatery!

What can you say about it? It's dirty. The tent itself is dirty, cutlery is dirty and the service was nice, but you don't feel welcome. The owner had a cold and was constantly turning up his nose while he prepared the sandwiches. Pick up your nose, run your finger along it and touch your sandwiches again. Constantly snacking on what he prepares (your sandwich) and continue with those fingers. Very dirty. Our appetite was immediately gone. Paid quickly and left it as it is.

Delicious coffee with warm apple pie! 👍😋😋😋

We ate a delicious sandwich with the three of us. Until we saw the maker of our sandwich wiping the sweat from his head with his full hand, then ran his hand through his hair and started making the next sandwich without washing his hands. Sorry, but this is really not possible.
