A very nice and cozy restaurant. Friendly and fast service. Very child-friendly and a fun play corner for the little ones.

Always a good atmosphere and good quality food and drinks and great service, they certainly excel in Middenwaard and Heerhugowaard.

Very diverse and delicious food, prices are reasonable. Unfortunately, opening hours are quite limited.

A very cozy and snug restaurant, which looks smaller from the outside until you enter! With a nice play corner for the smaller children, We also ate here and unfortunately my wife has a certain allergy, which the kitchen unfortunately could not take into account or come up with a suitable solution. Which was a shame, because we wanted to do the 4-course menu but because of this she could not eat 2 courses. Which I do think is a bad thing, it was a one-time visit for us!

Had dinner with six people on Friday evening. After a long time, back at STROMING. And it must be said. The food was delicious All dishes were served neatly and above all hot. Taste was nice. We all had a different dish and everything was enjoyed by our guests. Service was fine and so was the pace of serving. In short, a successful evening in Stroming.

Really a top restaurant, lovely seating, beautiful terrace, good food and great service

Drank delicious coffee every week for 3 years, because that's what they have. Only the service has become a drama, they see you but walk right past you without saying anything. After having to wait longer than fifteen minutes for the umpteenth time before any attention was paid to us, and we see that happen to other people too, we left, it's done. Too bad about the nice coffee.

Very nice and atmospheric restaurant. Nice layout with lots of round seating and cozy tables. Good, interested service and the food tasted delicious. It is also very nice that the food does not come in super quick succession, so you can enjoy a really relaxed meal. They also ask if you want to wait, and you can indicate when you want the main course. Highly recommended compared to the restaurant on the corner where the youthful, uninterested (clumsy) service leaves much to be desired and ruins the feeling.

Good afternoon! Today I got a 50 euro gift voucher to give to a friend for his birthday. What an unpleasant experience. The person who prepared it was unfriendly and grumpy. I think it is a fair amount for a gift voucher and it seems to me that customer friendliness can at least be shown. I regretted getting the voucher from Stroming.

What a fantastic wonderful place to be. Started with a delicious latte with apple pie. Really delicious! Then we stayed and had lunch there. Delicious farmer's brown bread with croquette. Good service. They regularly asked if we wanted anything and if it was to our liking. Not too, just good. We sat in the nice round seats. This is highly recommended!

We had a nice seat, the service was nice and the food was reasonable. From now on it would be nice if they mentioned the price in the specials, but at checkout our main course turned out to be €40, which is a big difference with the prices of the dishes on the menu.

Cozy seating areas inside and a nice terrace. The portions are decent and the food is good. Pay attention to the opening hours, they close at the end of the afternoon on some days.

Had lunch several times and always great! Went for high tea on Sunday with a group of girls, many of whom had unfortunately canceled. Compliments to the chefs and service for their input and apologies again on our behalf! We were really disappointed... the food was great again!!

What a wonderful experience! We had a delicious meal here with the whole family. The dishes were fresh and prepared with great care. What was extra special was that the chef himself brought the food, with a big smile! That really added a personal touch. The girls behind the bar were fantastic: friendly, attentive and always up for a nice chat. The atmosphere in the restaurant was warm and inviting, just as you would hope. We felt really welcome and will definitely come back. Highly recommended

What a deception! Reservation not registered properly, so no place, then a worthless place, eventually a place due to no-show; too few menus, so we waited too long, the starter sandwich was tasty, again we waited too long for the main course, so all the fries turned out to be cold and worthless; salad salty, we asked for an extra glass of water with our wine; no, that was only possible if we ordered a new glass of wine. We won't be coming here again, not recommended!

The 2-part and 3-part lunch is highly recommended. Waitresses are friendly and helpful.

The Christmas brunch was delicious and had super nice dishes. We enjoyed it and are completely full, so no food this day. It was very nice, thank you 🥰🥰

Had a high tea this afternoon with 5 people + baby. We indicated in advance that we would come with 1 vegetarian, this was confirmed again upon arrival. After more than 30 minutes we got a soup and after 1.5 hours (!!) after asking several times we finally got the savory snacks. We were told the kitchen was very busy, but we had made a reservation, right?! Then only one of the savory snacks turned out to be vegetarian. After insisting again, I think the manager arrived with another sandwich. We also had to ask for new hot water twice, what a travesty! And this while the high tea passed through a table behind us. The high tea has really deteriorated since the new owner and we don't have a good word to say about the waiting staff. Far too young or inexperienced to speak of politeness. The snacks were okay, but certainly not worth the almost 30 euros. Almost all of the sweet snacks came straight from the freezer. We certainly wouldn't recommend it. No apologies heard either. Next time I'll go to Wonders again.

I think the food had been in the kitchen too long. The fries were already cold. And the chicken satay was lukewarm.

The coffee is tasty. It seems like the staff doesn't like the job. You can't help but smile, taking orders takes a very long time, when the weather is nice they clean the outside tables first instead of serving customers and they are grumpy!

Delicious lunch and everything fresh. Also good coffee with real whipped cream. In short, we would like to come back here.

Actually, this matter deserves more attention. The location is a bit tucked away in a corner. I would hang colorful lights to draw attention. The food was all very good and not huge portions. Staff is also very friendly and attentive. Despite Saturday evening it was not very busy and we could only think of the location as to why that was. Actually worth discovering!

Delicious food with good service. Very close attention was paid to the children's allergies and they were quickly available for service. Nice play area for the children. The sofa upholstery we were sitting on was broken. But it didn't detract from the entire experience. Had a great evening!

Homemade tuna salad with bread and salmon bread. Delicious. The round tables in the niches are quite large, so it's not easy to get on the bench. Unless you are size 36😁

Went out for dinner with a friend in the evening. Wonderfully seated, a super cozy tent. Food was really delicious! I had the ravioli and the girlfriend had the boneless chicken, both really great! A small mistake was made when placing the order, which meant we had to wait a little longer for our food, but that was compensated by a drink on the house. Absolutely great! P.s. the dessert was also very tasty 😋

If you want to get drunk quickly, come here. Waited 40 minutes for our starter: bread. After 1.5 hours we finally got our food: cold spareribs that are even tastier packaged at Albert Heijn, chicken satay STICK for which you pay 18.95 (yes, 1 pathetic skewer). As a bonus, a whole evening of entertainment from a drunk couple that the waiter had more time for (apparently friends of the staff?) and who were undressing each other on the table. On the other hand, I did like the lemon slice in my ice tea.

Had a great lunch here. The lunch menu is not very spectacular, so we opted for a club carpaccio and club classic. We ordered additional fries, but did not receive them. Not a big problem, because the clubs were sufficient, it was ordered more for the tasty appetite. By the way, in the end he was not on the receipt, so the service simply did not pay that much attention.

Nu voor de tweede keer geluncht bij dit restaurant,prima gegeten . Zaten alleen in een donker hoekje ,vlak bij de uitgang cq ingang Middenwaard. Op podium is de verlichting minder. Sfeer was goed.

Een cocos ananas smoothie een appeltaart… Heerlijk de smoothie viel ons tegen in vergelijking met vorige keer nadat we twee slokken genomen hadden. Gemeld bij de serveerster zij nam ons serieus en we kregen een nieuwe…. Fantastisch dit was wat wij ons herinnerden. Super tent om heen te gaan… wij blijven komen.

Heerlijk gegeten! Lieve en nette bediening, ruime porties en een sfeervolle plek. Echt een aanrader!

Bij Stroming hebben ze de heerlijkste cappacino van de wijde omtrek! De bediening is altijd super vriendelijk.

Goede vega opties. De stromingburger lekker. Vooral die onion rings zijn top Notch. Lekkere patat deels met schil. Lekker knapperig gebakken. Geitenkaas salade was een goede portie (twee geitenkaasjes) met lekkere smaken.

Na een flinke wandeling savonds een cappuccino op het verwarmde terras. Het kleine glaasje likeur met slagroom wat je er bij krijgt maakt de beleving helemaal af. Top service van de mensen, nu onze vaste stop plek tijdens het wandelen. Oh ja, de lunch... Top!

Nogal winderig, dus we waren de enige op het terras.naar binnen om te bestellen na het eerste rondje koffie enzo.

Heerlijk eten, goede service. Aanrader! Nog steeds kan je hier heerlijk lunchen en mooi zitten.

Been here a couple of times, and always had positive experiences! However it seems that the menu and some recipies have changed... The iced latte is supposed to have crushed ice, but that changed to ice cubes (no more crunchy goodness in the coffee!). And to great sorrow the borrel plank got removed from the menu entirely, with the snacks being individually separated. Sorry Stroming, but this is disappointing.

REVIEW 05-05-2023 Opeens is de kaart veranderd en is dat volgens de bediening al heeeeeeeel lang zo. Lijkt me niet want wij komen hier al tijden iedere 2 weken. Vandaag incompetente bediening. Geen bestek/servetten geleverd, de kinderen kregen likeur voorgeschoteld, de ijskoffie met crushed ijs bevatte wat zielige ijsblokjes (we vroegen om *iets minder ijs* in de ijskoffie, maar dan doe je een halve schep crushed ice ipv een hele, dan vervang je het NIET door een paar blokjes), de borrelplankjes waren van de kaart verdwenen, de knoflooksaus bij het brood was mierzoet, en de broodsausjes zaten in andere, smalle hoge en dus slecht uitneembare, bakjes. Duidelijke gevalletjes van prijsbesparingen. Maar ik heb liever de oude vaste kwaliteit dan dit zwakke aftreksel. Kan natuurlijk zijn dat de serveerster en de kok hun dag niet hadden. We gaan voor nu op zoek naar een ander vast lunchtentje en checken over een tijdje wel weer of ze tot hun zinnen zijn gekomen. Op dit moment kan ik het restaurant NIET meer aanraden. REVIEW 24-02-2023: Hele lieve bediening deze keer, die echt haar best doet. Stukken beter dan gebruikelijk. Lekkere borrelplank met de kinderen gegeten. Koffie is uitstekend, de ijskoffie is een aangename verrassing: niet te zoet, lekker fris. Voor taart is dit restaurantje niet zo geschikt, maar het is inmiddels mijn geliefde stek voor hartig. Dat hebben ze meer dan gemiddeld onder de knie. Complimenten! OUDE REVIEW : Fijne ambiance, ongeïnteresseerd personeel (maar dat lijkt hier overal zo). Geen chocoladetaart, dat is minpunt. Chocolademelk is poeder, verder minpunt. Beide geen sterrenaftrek echter. Bounty koffie smaakt naar kokos, dus prima, en goede koffie. Wat een hele ster aftrek geeft is echter de ijskoude appeltaart. Dat is gewoon echt niet ok, en in de horeca hoor je echt beter te weten dan zoiets te serveren. Warm dat op. Tot minstens kamertemperatuur. Ik kom binnenkort terug om te kijken of dat verbeterd is (heb het ook in de zaak doorgegeven), zo niet, meer aftrek.

High tea Stroming Heerhugowaard Voor de tweede keer een high tea gehad. Ook deze keer weer super goed verzorgd. Veel verschillende hapjes, soep, etcetera een natuurlijk een grote keus aan thee die de hele tijd aangevuld wordt. Ontzettend Arardig personeel.Echt een aanrader!
