This is my favorite of the four stores in the city. It would be nice if the decoration was brighter.

One of the best noodle soups noodle 🍜 you can find in Amsterdam. The braised beef noodle soup is the perfect meal for winters ❄️

Food was delicious! €16.50 for the noodle flavour; spicy beef and the gyozas were also €16.50 tasty but pricey for 8 pieces😳. The food was ready very quickly, you order on a screen and you pick it up yourself at the cash register. Downside, the employees do not speak English and do not make any further contact.

U can’t pay with visa or mastercard

This place has amazing atmosphere of small noodles restaurant. It felt like locals and Asian people go here, which is a definite green flag!

Lovely noodle shop with a nice selection of freshly made noodles. Ordered the "wider" noodles and would highly recommend. Broth was nicely flavored to complement the other ingredients.

Great authentic noodle soup in Amsterdam!

The noodles were delicious and I loved the included side dishes (pickled cucumber & tea egg). One thing I didn’t like is the attitude of the staff. She was not very friendly. Will still come back here for the food though.

The noodles and soup here are quite delicious. This is also delicious with side dishes and boiled eggs. The portions are large, so even men should be satisfied. I've been there many times.

Not really hospitable, no noodles refill possible, tables remain dirty for a long time; food is tasty, a bit too salty.

It is very casual restaurant. Good for the noodle experience in short time staying in the restaurant alone.

As a Lanzhou person, I can tell you this is not authentic.😅 we will never put shrimps when making the soup. You will never find authentic one outside Lanzhou, which is 100 times better. The chili oil is also horrible. Well, I can’t have high expectations in NL anyway🤣🤣🤣

When you see that there are almost only Chinese guests eating, you know it is a good spot. This place has been in my top 3 favorite spots for 1.5 years now. Braised beef noodle soup is by far one of my favorite dishes of all time. The quality is the same every time I come, not once is it disappointing. Staff is also super friendly. I also ate at Yellow River on the Leidse and it was not as good as here. So come to the Rijnstraat where you can park right in front of the door.

The boss went on vacation and didn’t get any food.

When I came here from a long way, it said it was closed, but the business hours were not updated.

It closed since 2 until 30 of august, and they didnt update the close time on gmap. We came a bit far from the restaurant and disappointed its closed

I was really excited to visit this place. However after 30 mins taxi ride, I was disappointed to find out that it will be closed until end of August. I tried calling them before coming here but no one answered. They should’ve updated their operation time to reflect this long period of away, or at least set up a voice mail for the time away notice.

The beef noodles are delicious and the portions are generous. Highly recommended!

Really amazing handpulled noodles! Great portion too! You get a free egg and side-dish too, could be potatoes/ pickled cucumber or black ear mushroom (pay at the counter and pick a side-dish)

Authentic Chinese noodle dish. It’s a typical Asian place that you eat and leave, there is no such thing as dinning atmosphere. The restaurant is very clean, you order at the counter, do not expect any table services. The noodle is really tasty and chewy, I would personally recommend the fried noodle with full of wok hei with a few scoops of chilli oils, it’s just so tasty and good! The portion is generous together with a reasonable pruce. Highly recommended to the noodle lovers.

Absolutely loved this spot! The beef noodle soup was next-level—rich, flavorful broth with tender beef slices and fresh herbs. The marinated eggs and wood ear mushrooms on the side were on point. No frills, but wow. Got the thick noodles, they were delicious and chewy. The soup came with smashed cucumbers and hard boiled egg. If you are a tourist, bring cash because they don’t accept visa or Mastercard.

Pros: The taste is authentic, the portions are generous, and the service is good. Disadvantages: The location is slightly remote. I used to eat at that ramen shop in Rotterdam. After moving to North Holland, I ate here often, once or twice a week on average. I recently heard that the ramen shop in Rotterdam has opened a branch in Amsterdam, so I made a special trip to try it out. After comparing it, I felt it was not as good as this one. After reconfirming, this one has more authentic taste, larger portions, and the price is one euro cheaper. Highly recommended!

Generous portion and you can choose the thickness of the noodles yourself. It was delicious!

We ordered the traditional beef noodles and braised beef spicy noodles and 3 servings of gyozas. Everything we ordered tasted authentic and perfectly balanced in taste and spice . The staff are kind and polite.

Very authentic Lanzhou beef noodles in Amsterdam!

Enjoyed the food. Recommended to anyone looking for a good bowl of noodles with beef. I visited twice in a week.

The broth was good, the noodles was under the average, the meat was not fresh and I did not enjoy it. The side dishes were only cucumber and boiled eggs, and pickled Chinese cabbage was not served. In general, compared to the price of the meal, it is considered below average. There is another better place to enjoy the original taste of Lanzhou lamian "noodles" at the same price. I will not back again to this restaurant.

I’ll definitely recommend this place. The food is delicious, the owner is very kind, the place is super clean (I’ve never seen a kitchen this clean!) you should go !!!

Very good price and tasty noodle soups. You even get a small plate with vegetables or mushrooms in addition to the soup itself. However I recommend ordering extra noodles with your soup, because the normal amount wasn't quite enough for me.

Awesome, reasonably authentic and definitely great value for money. I love going to this place for a no nonsense bowl of delicious noodles with friendly service. The place is usually busy but there is always a place to sit and the service is pretty quick too. When I'm there I kinda feel like I'm in China again. Would absolutely recommend.

So good! Have been wanting to go to this place for a while and finally visited yesterday. I did not disappoint! Ordered the traditional beef noodle soup with thin noodles, and it came with a complementary cucumber salad and tea egg. It was really soothing, there could be some more bok choy instead of a very tiny piece, but overall the food was really good. Don't come here for the atmosphere though, but will all good places: it should be about the food :)

for only 15 euro you get a soup noodle and one cold dish and an boiled egg. Decent portion and taste just like what I had in China. There’s nothing pretty about the venue but very clean and well managed.

Noodles were great! i really like the wide noodles at this place. the food was awesome but the place doesn't have a great atmosphere/vibe no music, cold feel/look environment...it also looks a bit dark inside at the counter (maybe you could do something with lighting?) other than that if you don't care how the restaurant looks the food is definitely good!! Go here!

The atmosphere is non-existent, there is no music just the loud slurping of other people. Which is kind of on brand. Their specialty is beef noodle soup but I really wish they had a vegetarian broth as well, since hand pulled noodles are so the best combined with soup. The veggie fried option is a good alternative though and the small sides dishes are a nice touch. Also very happy with the free crispy chili oil on the table. Not the cheapest place but you get a good portion!

Absolutely incredible noodle dish! The broth is amazing and the noodle is cooked to perfection. Also love the pickled cucumber (make sure to have it). One portion of noodle comes with a boiled egg and a choice of salad (pickled cucumber for example). Hidden gem and totally worth every penny.

Surprised to even find this gem in Amsterdam. The noodle was nice, but the broth and the beef were on another level from other restaurants that served this same type of noodle. €15.5 for a huge bowl of noodles with coriander, a few slices of beef, an egg, and 1 side dish. It's not excellent but still a good deal for Amsterdam standard. The cucumber side dish was the star of the show!

Best Lanzhou Noodles I have had in Europe so far. Soup has deep flavour layers and the noodles are smooth and hand-made. A visit is 100% worth it but prepare for longer waiting times during rush hours.

Convenient location, right next to the bus stop. The shop is clean and the staff are friendly. The soup itself is full of flavor, while the beef is very tender. Really authentic beef noodles from China.

Excellent, excellent noodles and wonderful broth. Exactly the kind of ambience and atmosphere that suits this type of food.

Super lekker noodles soep restaurant. Het is een mooie nette restaurant. Je kan je bestelling bij de toonbank aangeven en gelijk afrekenen. Ik had de traditionele rundvlees noedelsoep gekozen met de dikke noedels. De soep is echt super lekker! De beef smaak is lekker goed ingetrokken in de soep wat je ook steeds terug proeft als je een slok van de soep neemt. De koriander en sambal maakt de smaak helemaal af. De noedels zijn lekker, maar voor een volgende keer zou ik toch voor de dunne noedels kiezen. De komkommer en bamboe salade was ook heerlijk, lekker goed op smaak en heerlijk te combineren met de noedelsoep. Per portie kregen we nog een gekookt ei erbij. Restaurant is zeker een aanrader en voor herhaling vatbaar.

Heerlijk en goed te betalen! Op de Google geeft het aan Vietnamese Pho maar dat is het niet. Chinese noodles. Erg lekker en veel Chinezen die er eten. Noodles zijn handgemaakt.

The staff lady has really bad attitude. We ordered 4 bowls and also took 4 eggs and 3 sides dishes at the beginning ( in the picture), then we decided to take 1 more side dish of sprouts. That’s the moment she yelled at my friend and requested her to pay €2, my friend was shocked, she wanted to return the side dish as she didn’t touch on the plate but the lady insisted that we have to pay €2. At the end we paid €2 for that one. I questioned her about it before I left and she said that she already told us that one person only allows to take 1 time of side dish. Finally she looked at me and raised her voice to just to say the word “BYE” when i told her that she didn’t mention about €2 before. It’s not about money but the way the lady treated the customers is super aggressive. Never come back to this shop again.
