Lemonman Bar in Stadionbuurt

Let me start by saying the cocktails were very good, and that is typically all I want from a bar like this. But service and the bars atmosphere was laughably bad. It started with the woman at the front desk, at the restaurant (strange to go through) acting as if the bar was full, despite there being 3 occupied tables. When we entered, the waitress seemed rather cold. Additionally, decor was appalling, basically IKEA frames with random images on the walls. What really annoyed me and my partner was the management of the customers, 3 men were in a corner screaming and saying crude words without any reprimand, perhaps because they bought a few bottles of wine. One bartender also stuck his tongue out and shook it, a weird streamer move, to a table of obviously 14 year old boys. Whatever, great drinks.

Amazing bartender with good vibes and humor, amazing atmosphere and music. Place to go for good times.

Good food Bit noisy as the room is huge

Doorman seemed confused when I said I was coming for a drink. Possibly I don't have the right look, as everyone there was very hip.

They adjusted their opening times but not online and then when we arrived for a pre-dinner drink they wanted us to wait for 40 minutes due to them not adjusting their times.

Betty does a fantastic job explaining the various cocktail options and, when challenged, will even leverage her mixology skills. My wife and I had a wonderful time in her bar. The drink pictured might look like a cosmo but it’s certainly not a cosmo. In fact the pink punches your taste buds quite nicely.
