LIER in Museumkwartier

Yesterday we ate at LIER in the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam. The food was excellent, and the venue, of course, is unique! You can really enjoy a quiet conversation while eating; the acoustics are great. The chairs are comfortable, and the setting is beautiful. The service is friendly, but they could have been a little more attentive to guests' questions.

We ate here before the performance at the Concertgebouw. ​​The choices were limited, but delicious. The food was delicious and the price-quality ratio was excellent. We had sea bass tartare, half lobster, kohlrabi carpaccio, and quail stuffed with morels. After dinner, you can use a special passageway to the performance. Finally, the service was excellent. Highly recommended!

Atmosphere and service were great, but the food was simply terrible. I ordered a meat based starter, and I really didn’t like it. As main course I had a risotto with seafood, and it was also terrible: overly fat and simply not a good taste. My boyfriend had a mushrooms/gnocchi meal, and while it did taste good, after a while he couldn’t handle it anymore because it was just too greasy and heavy (pesto was really overkill in this meal). All in all it was convenient to have dinner here before the show, but it’s not worth it given this bad experience with the food. I don’t see myself coming again to this place.

A good restaurant that is part of the Concertgebouw. You will be received very kindly and taken to your table. You can order the complete menu or parts of it. There is a choice of meat or fish. And if you want, a matching wine arrangement. The food is fine, tastes good, beautiful plates. And you'll be ready in time for the performance.

Delicious food, friendly staff.

Food was amazing. Wine pairing was excellent. A great experience before a concert. The restaurant even checks your coats into the concert hall cloakroom, and provides a separate private entrance into the venue. Very convenient.

Lier is sleets 5 jaar zelfde soort menu’s 5 jaar redelijke maar nooit echt goede keuken 5 jaar bediening, ieder jaar slechter, arrogant, zakelijk , je kan iedere week komen maar de gerant herkent je niet We voelen ons hier zeker geen gewaardeerde gast

Helaas waren de porties klein en het hoofdgerecht niet warm genoeg. Voor de prijs die je betaalt mag je beter verwachten. Smaak was uitstekend en de bediening ok.

Great Place to have dinner before a performance at the Concertgebouw. The staff who worked at our table where fabulous! Late arrivals where treated with care and very helpful suggestions and flexibility. 👍🏻

I had a meal with a group, 24 of us, at the Lier restaurant after a lunch concert last weekend. The service was headed by Leon, very service minded and professional, and the food was excellent. We really enjoyed the 2 course meal, the wine and the atmosphere. Many thanks for this time, hope to be back soon. Katarina

Good price/Value ! good option when attending concert as you Can walk directly from restaurant to concerthall ( waiters scan your ticket)

Very nice restaurant on first floor of the Concertgebouw building, overlooking the side entrance and, with luck, a bit of the Museumplein view through the windows. Cozy atmosphere, very liight, with a set menu that changes every now and then - usually a fish dish preceded by an entree and followed by dessert or cheese. There's wine by the glass/bottles, and it's a very good option when going to a concert afterwards - but also on its own, for a simple, nice meal.

For the first time eating on my own bfr going to the concert of Einaudi in the Concertgebouw. Very friendly personell and the best place near the window and not stuffed away in a corner 😁 Food was really nice and tastefull and for me exactly enough. Not over priced and a big plus, they have 0.0 red and white wine. I really enjoyed it.

Na het zondagochtendconcert een tweegangen lunch genuttigd met 4 personen. In de fles cava zaten nog net drie glaasjes en misschien daarom geen bubbels. Het nieuwe concept sprak ons niet zo aan. (Lunch aan tafel zonder keuze in de gerechten). In de saus van het voorgerecht (gestoomde knolselderij) zaten nog grote verschillen in de smaak van de saus. ( grote zoutkorrels).De gefrituurde kappertjes waren een mooi accent. De te grote bos frisee moest gesneden worden voordat je het in de mond kon doen. Het hoofdgerecht: De zachtgegaarde kip was goed van smaak, maar de polenta een te grote kubus die een erg droog mondgevoel gaf. Drie kleine was vast beter geweest. We hopen dat de nieuwe kok die z’n best doet om het nieuwe concept vorm te geven hiermee vooruit kan. P.s aandacht voor het servies! Een kring op het schoteltje van de espresso. De bediening was uiterst vriendelijk! 👍🏻

Good atmosphere and very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Going for the personal touch and really trying to make the customer feel at home in the restaurant. Food is very good and with the staff really knowing what wine to pair with the food it only gets better from there. I do recommend eating here. Pictures were taken just before opening time.

Een beperkte kaart, maar wat er op staat is van groede kwaliteiten smaak. De prijs is gezien het gebodene heel redelijk. Het is een aangenaam begin van een avondje Concertgebouw.

Prima gegeten en goed getimed op de voorstelling. Bediening zeer attent.

You can eat at this restaurant before visiting a concert at the congresgebouw. Its not very expensive and it gives an extra experience at your visiti at the concertgebouw. The staff is friendly and professional. Dont expect to much for €30/€40.

We really had a great time dining in Lier. Situated right IN the Concertgebouw. Very nice design inside. Food and wine pairings excellent. Topa team, very nice people. Perfect into the smallest details. After concert the coats were in the foyer. How efficient is that ;-)

Mooie inrichting, goede bediening, heerlijk gegeten maar een beetje zuinig op het bord, de wijn uit Stellenbosch is uitstekend
