Esta fue la primera parada del Vegan Food Tour Utrecht, y fue legendario! El pastel de nata era tan bueno. La otra comida se veía deliciosa también. Espero volver para probar sus sabrosas opciones.

Simply great. Small café offering fresh, home baked plant based pastries and savoury treats (focaccia and farinata), including some gluten free options. We tried the mushroom and “goat cheese” focaccia, the farinata, the pastel de nata and pistachio filled croissant. All of them were very tasty. I personally had a big crush on the mushroom focaccia. Both sweet pastries were actually rather low on sugar, which is good from a health standpoint but could do with a bit sweeter taste (and with a stronger vanilla flavour for the pastel) in my opinion. Service is very friendly and informative. The café is small and has limited seating. Coffee can be served with a choice of oat, coconut or sprouts milk.

Delicious pastries and foccacias, but a bit expensive, and the place is very tiny so it can feel a bit crowded.

Great food, plate design, service, staff and all. Just a bit overcrowded and noisy.

This is a really nice place with excellent home made pastries. I had no idea that it was a vegan cafe and I have to say that if I would not have been told, I would not have known. A great place with friendly staff!

Proof that vegan food can be super delicious !

Had a cup of coffee yesterday, but unfortunately we were just before closing so we could only order a cornetto (croissant with pistachio filling). It was tasty, the atmosphere was good, the interior was small but nice. The only minor downside was the fact that the very friendly lady put some icing sugar on our croissant and blew off the excess 🙁. I would have done that differently. Furthermore, a nice tent with vegan breads and sweets

Had a passion fruit pastry here. The best vegan pastry I've ever had!!! Would had loved to have had more days there to taste their focaccia, which looked delicious 😋

I had a funghi focaccia, the soup of the day and a pastel de Belém, the Portuguese treat. Also an oat latte macchiato. All very good, just the price wasn't tasty 😁

Amazing vegan focaccia, pastries and coffee. Highly recommended for a day in Utrecht. If you want to sit during the weekend, make sure to reserve a spot well in advance. The place is quite small yet very popular.

Really just delicious! I visited here during a food tour through Utrecht and was pleasantly surprised by the pastel de nata. Really just delicious. You wouldn't say it's vegan. The pastel de nata's stuck in my head so much that I went back today to buy them again. This time I also tried the foccasias, which were also delicious. I will definitely come back!

Amazing foccacias! The place is a bit small so be prepared to take your food to go. The dough is so soft and fluffy and delicious. I had the two specials of the day cause I couldn’t choose one. #noregrets

Nice 100% vegan cafe with a lot of character, for those who fancy good coffee and a snack. The focaccia and cardamom bun tasted good, but were both a bit soggy at the bottom. The service is friendly but also a bit clumsy and uncertain. Also note that there are only about 10 seats inside.

It used to be a great place (coffee, sweets are still amazing), unfortunately the girls working there were so loud that I had to leave, impossible to read/work/hear your own thoughts even through noise cancelling headphones ... Hoping it was a one-off thing though.

This is a gem of a cafe. Focaccia is a must have when visiting this cafe. The staff was extremely friendly and the cafe's ambience was super welcoming. Highly recommend this cafe!

My new favourite place to get breakfast whenever I can. As a person with milkallergy I am so grateful to have found Life's a peach! The pastel de nata is absolutely heavenly❤ and I love the foccacia too. Staff is very friendly and it's truly a treat to come here.

My favorite vegan place in Utrecht. Their chocolate milkshake is out of this world! Also the Bombolone was so light and creamy, I could easily have had half a dozen in one sitting. Amazing food and very pleasant staff.

Cake was really disappointing and probably too old. Coffee was okay but lukewarm. Busy and disorganized inside, not customer focused.

I love this place. It's tiny but cosy. Try the pastel de nata! It's probably not the bést vegan food you'll ever eat, but it's good, and the relaxed atmosphere and nice people working there are simply charming.

This was the first ever place I visited when I came to Utrecht & I’ve been in love ever since. The pastries are simply divine (try the pistachio croissant 🤤) and so are the focaccia (my fav being Gorgonzola & pecan). I’ve been living in Utrecht for a couple of years now and this cute café is worth a weekly visit. They often have specials and change up their menu by adding new & improved baked goods - so there’s always a new reason to come back. Their coffee specialties are tasty as well! Plus the staff is the friendliest around - always up for a nice chat 💬 Update after a few months of being away: still incredible, still my fav bakery/café in Utrecht! Especially the cheesecake is amazing! I craved this while I was abroad

Lovely place for coffee and pastries. Been here a few times and it's usually quite crowded. The last time I went here however, it was so quiet. Turned out we walked in after closing time, oops.. We were still able to order a coffee tho which was really nice of the staff. Amazing place!

They told me I can have a table and after 10 min just kick me out.

Amazing food!!! , we tried a selection of different food and this place is a huge win in my books. especially when a vegan dish tastes better than its counterpart its based on with other ingredients. I had my best Pastel de nata here 🙏🙏🙏🤌🏻✨

Super cozy restaurant with delicious pastries! The menu is what is freshly baked under the counter. There is the opportunity to sit here with friends, but also to sit at the table with other guests and read a book or study here, for example. I would love to come back here! ♥️

The pastel da nata is really delicious! The focaccia was also tasty, but couldn't match this haha. The staff was nice, but they didn't let us know that they had seen us or that they were coming to us, which meant we had to wait a while. Little cute tent.

Very cozy and friendly place, with the most amaxing selection of focaccias and various sweet treats. While everything is vegan, their bombolone, cardamom swirl, pastel de nata and mushroom focaccia are my absolute favourties, and they taste even better than the non-vegan versions I have had elsewhere. The staff is SO nice and friendly.

Very nice service. Advised me well, but there was so much delicious choice that I decided to take two things: pistachio croissant and pumpkin spice swirl. SO GOOD!! Well filled and not too sweet. And good prices. By the way, I only found out that it was vegan when I started writing the review. Definitely come back to try the rest.

Best pastel de nata I Have eaten in my entire life. The focaccia is also very delicious. The restaurant is completely vegan. Some food may be already sold out at 2pm because all food is Made fresh on a daily basis. Very few chairs; so you might Order for takeaway or sit outside in the rain.

Ik heb mijn lunch hier opgehaald, het was snel, vers en lekker! Een klein restaurantje, dus houd daar rekening mee als je daar ter plaatsen iets wilt eten.

Heerlijke chippola focaccia en mozzarella focaccia hebben we hier gegeten en een croissant met pistache to go. Dat laatste was erg lekker maar werd een knoeiboel toen we erin beten. Dat is beter vanaf een bordje te eten;-). De dames zijn super vriendelijk.

Lovely place with decent prices considering the location and many rare veganised dishes. I had 2 different chickpea fritatas which were 2-3.50 euros each, a flat while for around 3.50 and 2 pastel de Nata which were less than 2 euros each and the highlight of the visit. Staff were all very nice and it definitely seemed vegan run/owned which is always nice to see. Will be back next time I'm in utrecht!
