Limon in Zuidas

Decent place, very expensive, but not unwelcoming

Pleasant enough, but not very atmospheric. Furthermore, the order didn't quite arrive correctly.

We came here for an AI networking event. It is a big and cozy bar restaurant. But it is hard to get hold of waiters.

Super friendly service. And the food is delicious; the sea bass is highly recommended.

We had a wonderful meal at Limon. The food was delicious, but what really stood out was the fantastic service. I've rarely encountered such attentive and friendly staff in Amsterdam. Highly recommended!

I have given Limon at Zuidas quite a few chances over the past year, mostly because the location is convenient and the food is okay. However, I have finally had enough. There is a particular waiter who has been working there for quite a while, and unfortunately, he consistently brings the entire experience down. His attitude is persistently moody, unfriendly, and even arrogant. It's baffling how someone in the hospitality industry can be so consistently dismissive and cold to guests. If you’re that unhappy with your job, maybe it’s time to get the hell out of there instead of taking it out on the customers. Dining out should be a pleasant experience, especially in a place that positions itself as a stylish spot in the heart of the Zuidas. Sadly, this kind of service completely ruins it. I’m not going back, and I would advise others to steer clear unless they enjoy being treated with indifference at best.

Food was not that great. Cold mushrooms (I think I never saw a pan) and half warm carrots that were not cooked. Meat medium rare overcooked and the chimichurri... let me put it this way; I have never had it like that. Too bad. Not recommended.

Good food, but I was shocked by the level of repeated rudeness of one of the waiters. It is not an exaggeration when I say I never experienced anything like that in 4 years of living in the Netherlands.

A quick coffee turned into almost two hours of cozy beer drinking! Great atmosphere, excellent service.

The Melanzane alla Parmigiana initially arrived cold at the table, but was served warm after being returned to the kitchen. The double espresso, on the other hand, was lukewarm, which I left as is. Despite the beautiful menu and good service, the execution of the dishes leaves much to be desired.

Limon burger was good but not super delicious. The only annoying thing is that waiters are checking you maybe minimum 4 times in 2 hours if you want something else.

Always a pleasure coming back to Limon either for dinner or a drink. Interesting and simple menu, kind and fast staff, lovely lemonade and tasty desserts. Great place to chill after work or meet with friends.

We had our Christmas dinner here with 50+ people. Delicious food with good and friendly service! Nice location on the Zuidas and therefore definitely recommended for large groups.

Hier heb ik de allerslechtste linzensalade ooit geproefd, tevens de allerslechtste salade in het algemeen. Je kunt hem zelf ook maken. Koop dan een blikje linzen en keer dat om en doe er wat slablaadjes en een paar stukjes geitenkaas bij. Veel meer was het niet wat ik daar voor ongeveer 15 euro geserveerd heb gekregen. Ik eet vaak salades in restaurants en café's. Soms krijg je een hele goede, soms een wat minder goede. Maar dit sloeg echt alles. Ik ben zelf allesbehalve een keukenprins, maar zo'n slechte salade zou je van mij als amateur niet krijgen.

Last Thursday, the four of us had another delicious meal at Limon. Beautifully prepared plates and delicious dishes, compliments to the kitchen team. Service was unfortunately messy but that could be because it was super busy. We will definitely come back another time!

The fish was tasty. The seafood pasta was okay. The tuna tataki was delicious and nicely prepared. But the service beat everything! Despite the crowds it was great: as it should be and then that little bit extra.

Great place to eat with your colleagues. It's just not wheelchair friendly. The vegetarian burger is highly recommended.

We were pleasantly surprised during our spontaneous visit to Limon in Amsterdam. The Surf and Turf was simply outstanding – perfectly cooked and beautifully presented on a dark plate, which made the colors of the ingredients pop. The relaxed and casual atmosphere of the restaurant contributed to a truly enjoyable and pleasant evening. The value for money was also excellent, allowing us to fully enjoy the experience. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates good food in a lovely setting

€11 for a beer is just ridiculous. Most expensive beer in Amsterdam id bet. Zero justification for that price. Was a simple pint of Wiessbier

Really nice cozy place with an attentive staff. Our food took for sure longer than 30 minutes to be served and this was only brought into the attention of the kitchen after we asked. These things can happen of course and they got us a round of free drinks to make up for it, it was very nice. The food was average or just below average. I would recommend this place for drinks maybe.

Our evening at Limon was very pleasant. The food is excellent! I ate steak tartare and tuna and they were both really tasty. The wine was good too. I will return!

El servicio era muy malo, la comida era muy mala y hacía un calor insoportable sentado dentro. Nos apresuramos a través de la cena y solo queríamos irnos.

Nice card, we will come back! (Not anymore) especially stay away if you expect service! Terrible, terrible staff, especially a thin, short wannabe Amsterdam hipster as manager. Stands half bent with hands on the table and barely takes his cigarette with him to take the order. Tries to be “cool” with a nonchalant attitude, but is just a pauper. We come back for a specific dish and it is served without the right ingredients. When we report this, it is dismissed with “well, the supplier has not delivered” oh well, (literally) 2 hands in the air followed by “we will give it for half the price?!? 😳 (and no worries, we understand that something is not delivered) A good manager with a sense of empathy and damage control will immediately resolve the AH next door! (And yes, AH certainly has the same quality for sale) a bad manager thinks that all complaints are resolved with a discount... communication people, communication! Now Limon is a nice place and wants a spontaneous style with his/her staff, this good man has gone through that... hospitality, etiquette and modesty will do him good. We have another incident "oh what happened recently at Limon on the Zuidas" always laughing at the table with a glass of wine! This is worth more to us than a sad discount... at least we can laugh...

Uninspired! Mediocre food and service. Too noisy and too cramped. Unfocused menu and wine list. Had the seafood pasta…nothing to write more about.

Cozy food close to the office on the Zuidas. It was just busy on a Monday evening. The food (3 course menu) was ok, but the ribeye was delicious. In terms of quantity, I would order some extra fries next time. Our service was slow and not really proactive.

My go-to place in Amsterdam Zuid. Great team, good food and atmosphere. I am a bit subjective, going here for the last 5 years. Keep it going Limon team 💪

A nice alternative for lunch in the office district. The menu is not very rich, but it is sufficient. The Caesar salad was nice, but the seafood salad was poor in content, just a few pieces of crab, a few small mussels and calamari. Friends who ordered sandwiches and burgers liked them. It was crowded but the service was surprisingly fast. There are also a few vegan options. It's also a nice place to stop by after work and have a few drinks.

We walked past this place by accident...no question....the best sandwich I've ever had....(I've had a LOT of sandwiches!) Lovely atmosphere, staff... Really nop notch... Great work... Lovely to see the chief taking such pride in preparing such fresh quality food.

Insalata con lenticchie molto buona e di ottima qualità Purtroppo la carne picanha era poco tenera e soprattutto è stata servita fredda, seppur ho lasciato diversi pezzi nessuno ha chiesto se ero soddisfatto. Bravo ed entusiasta il cameriere italiano che mi ha servito nella parte iniziale , gli altri mediocri.

The food was mediocre at best. All steaks and burgers was overcooked and almost tasteless. Service was good and the vibe was great.

Beer is fine, but they don’t clean the taps and one of the waiters behaves really unfriendly. He looks at you like you owe him to buy drinks when you just finished your drink. Makes the whole vibe really uncomfortable.

One of the best Burgers i ever ate. (I Always eat Burgers)

Started with drinks on the terrace, followed by dinner inside. Ordered the steak tartare as a first course. Very nice. Ordered the picanha as a mains and it was delicious. For dessert I had the caramel mouche with pistache nuts. Finished it off with a glass of tawny port. All in all the quality of the food was very good. Our waiter, originally from Italy, was great.

Estupendo restaurante que aunque parece italiano la carta (reducida , eso si) tiene un poquito de todo. Pedimos picaña y la hamburguesa y estaban ambas deliciosas. El cheesecake de postre súper suave y bueno. Súper recomendable, atención de los camareros excepcional.

Quite a nice place. Decoration is nice. Staff however does not care at all. They kept saying "we will come to you" but it took so long we went to go get our drinks ourselves at the bar, our friend carried the tray. The waiter started to yarn at our table when we paid, open mouth. We did not really felt welcome. Too bad.

Goed eten, juiste porties en vriendelijk personeel. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

Freundliches und schnelles Personal. Übersichtliche Speisekarte, viele Sorten Bier. Hier ist sicher nicht für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Besondere Speisen mit und ohne Fleisch. Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis in Ordnung.

We went there after work to have drinks with colleagues. It’s a great place to visit after work since it’s in Zuidas. Prices are affordable and has a nice and cozy atmosphere.

Bel ristorante vicino alla stazione di Amsterdam Zuid. Atmosfera molto intima con cande e luci soffuse. Menu semplice ma con buone scelte. Io ho preso la tartare di tonno che viene servita su un risotto alle erbette e pomodorini: tutto molto buono Ottima.la scelta delle birre sia alla spina che in bottiglia. Tonno e risotto: costo 26€ Una birra piccola costo 5,50€

Leuke ambiance, lekkere koffie. Wat tegenviel was een deel van het personeel. De benadering was (fysiek) lomp en na een drankje moesten een zelf zorgen dat we opnieuw wat konden bestellen omdat men het niet kwam vragen in een overigens lege koffiebar.

Leuke tent verder was er weinig open op deze donderdag.

Very nice experience for dinner with delicious vegetarian options. The soup of the day (courgette) was very much worth the try and the beet and goat cheese salad very flavorful. Simply regret that there was no non-alcoholic drink menu or alternative for people who do not drink ;)

Eens in de drie maanden is er een nieuwe kaart. 'T werd weer eens tijd deze te pro- beren.We namen alle drie iets anders en waren alle drie zeer tevreden.

gezellig Cafe op Gustav Mahlerplein vriendelijk personeel

Prijzig en de bediening hebben we niet gezien, zijn constant zelf gaan ophalen. Bij afrekening zijn plotseling zaken op de bon gezet (gezien de volgorde is dit net voor het betalen van de rekening gebeurd). Bij confrontatie van personeel een zeer geirriteerde reactie gekregen.
