Little Chinatown in Bijlmer Centrum (D,F,H)

I think the delivery service isn't quite up to par yet. An hour and a half for a simple small bowl of rice with ketjap (nasi?), dry pork belly, and the sweet and sour chicken was good. And everything was lukewarm. And all that for 32 euros? Next time I'll go to my local Chinese restaurant. I thought I'd give it a try, and that's it. Also two stars for the atmosphere, because it was gone by the time the food was delivered.

This restaurant stays open later than any other in the city center. Delicious food!

The food was old, disgusting, and tasteless. I hadn't ordered satay, but they added it. It wasn't heated properly. I struggled to eat some and threw the rest away. Sorry, folks. Do better next time. Thanks.

You ordered a meal from a vending machine. The food was brought to your table. You had to arrange your own condiments. The taste and portion size were OK. Everything was rather impersonal and designed for a quick meal. You can do it if you don't have time 😉

A night out at AFAS, and the food at Little Chinatown was absolutely delicious. The seasoning was excellent and the portions were more than adequate. The atmosphere was hectic, but still very enjoyable. They really go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. RECOMMENDED!

The food is disgusting and old. The Chinese noodles are tough/stretchy. The nasi is dry. Seasonings are overpowering. Shrimp are missing from the sweet and sour shrimp. Babi pangang isn't tasty either. Service is impersonal. Food is simply heated in the microwave. Trays of prepackaged food are stacked on top of each other in the display case. Not worth returning, even if you were completely drunk.

I ordered a three-course menu and nasi. The nasi wasn't nasi, but brown rice. All three dishes contained a lot of carrots. The tjap tjoy also had other vegetables but lacked flavor. The Szechuan chicken and the sweet & sour chicken were nothing special. All in all, disappointing.

Ate here yesterday with three people. Today all three of us were enjoying the F1 from my behind.

We ordered via Uber Eats. I agree with many of the reviewers, the food are not tasty. Maybe the menus have been adapted to appeal many Dutch consumers. But for me, as Asian, this restaurant is among the least delicious in Amsterdam and around. Also, the foods are not fresh. not worth the price.

We ordered from uber eats, the food was stale and had a weird smell and was just tatseless.

Food is ok, but we had to wait 1 hour and a half for the food. Mini loempias were cold and soggy because of the long wait, I guess.

🔥 Little Chinatown – Bijlmer, Amsterdam ⭐️⭐️⭐☆☆ (3/5 – tasty chicken but I was full faster than my patience) I ordered from Little Chinatown and got a nice plate full of different choices. The chicken? It was really great, juicy and well seasoned, but honestly: I was full faster than I could charge my phone. Too bad, because I was still hungry for a second round! 🍗😅 They served it nicely on a plate with cutlery, but honestly? That chicken was such a piece of hard work to take apart that I almost wondered if I was doing a chicken puzzle. Come on Little Chinatown, cut that chicken into bite-sized pieces, then I don’t have to wrestle like I’m in an eating contest! And yes, I would have liked it to be a bit spicier. I want fire in my mouth, not a calm campfire. 🔥🌶️ All in all, it's okay, but next time I'll be ready with a knife and fork and a spicier sauce. Until the next bite of Tafels&Tories 🤙

Great food. Everytime I am in this part of Amsterdam I always visit this restaurant. I've had multiple dishes and they always taste good. Great portions for the price. I also want to reply to someone below who doesn't understand the good reviews. Remember Sir, you based it on one experience. I've been here multiple times and I agree with most positive reviews.

My go to place for food when I have a concert in Amsterdam! Super tasty food for take away or to just eat in the restaurant itself. You can order via the ordering post and get your drinks yourself. Although the place is not very attractive, you can sit there just fine. It is sometimes a bit cold. In terms of food, you get a lot for a good price! My recommendation: number 70: Bami with cha sieuw and bacon

I don't understand the positive reviews on here. The food is about the worst Chinese food I ever had in Amsterdam, the 'Szechuan' flavoring I had was just a sickly sweet Foe Yong Hai sauce. It is difficult to get good quality food in this area but even here you can do better.

Food tasted pretty good, but all dishes were crammed into one container except the noodles, which is a shame. 2 types of meat, 2 types of vegetables and an egg in a small container. Called to give constructive criticism. I was told that from now on I can specify in my online order that the dishes must be placed in separate containers. Furthermore, friendly and delivered quickly.

It was my worst dinner in Amsterdam on Christmas day. Most of the food is stale, chicken was smelly. They are serving big quantity with worst quality.

Even if you are desperate and even if you are very hungry and looking for something cheap, stay strong and just walk past the shop. Don't do this to yourself. Believe me. You can also treat yourself to microwave meals cheaper at home. The smell of sewage and feces is not really pleasant when ordering and eating. Overuse of food additives and flavor enhancers, such as monosodium glutamate (MSG), simply leaves you with a raw tongue and nausea.

Not recommended! Ordered through Uber eats. Since the preparation was taking a long time (20 minutes), I called the restaurant. They told me my order was ready and would be delivered within 15 minutes. It was not. Half an hour later, I called the restaurant again. They told me the delivery guy went to the wrong place first (apparently ijburg). He told me again 15 minutes he will be there. One hour later, still nobody has delivered anything. So disappointed given that it is very expensive too! Still not received any order (an hour and a half later).

Great food! I picked it up myself and it was very tasty. I will definitely come back here again. The food was ready very quickly too!

The food is no longer what it used to be, today I took a few bites of my cod sandwich. And I threw the rest away.

Then you schedule a delivery at 5:30 PM, between 7:00 PM and 7:30 PM. And then you still manage to arrive much late with the food. Then you really haven't figured it out.

The food tasted good, but the taste was a bit off, a bit too strong. There was no toilet paper, we'd just have to work on that a bit.

Everything about this company is great, friendly staff and if something is missing with the order, you will receive it. The containers are well filled with food and they always arrive on time. I will continue to come here or I will continue to order from Little China Town. Little China Town is highly recommended!!!!

Being really fooled by paying for two wonton soups and getting ready to use wontons in it out of the freezer.. broth is also made with powder packets and not fresh at all. Not healthy! Could better buy instant noodles myself then and I would rather not. 23€ for 3 soups and not even made themselves. What a shame!

Disappointed....taste like overpowered curry flavour in Singapore noodles.....my noodle dish completely under season ed...nice work flavour in my dish could be easily taken it to next level .. portion size was too good

You have a great variety of dishes to select from and they look so appetizing. I went for the chicken rice, the pork belly with white rice and vegetables, and the fried shrimp dumplings and must say that everything was delicious! Everything I ordered was made in the spot, thus it was fresh, crunchy and simply delicious. As for the prices, they are ok based on how much food you get. Overall, I would recommend this place but mostly for takeout as the atmosphere is not so welcoming to stay and dine in.

Had dinner here before visiting the Afas Live. I was also here two years ago for The Cure's concert. Delicious food for a fair price. (Just like last time.) Nice staff. Definitely recommended and I hope to come back again.

Ate in the restaurant, everything looked clean, open kitchen, also fine. Food came quickly and it tasted good too. In my opinion, they have dishes on the menu here that you would find at any Chinese Indian restaurant. I think I'll eat here again sometime.

The food is certainly not bad, Surinamese Chinese, been there a few times before, when they also had service, recently after a long time, no separate service, kitchen staff now serve, very poor no services, had to go grab it myself, and then ask for something Not a good answer, I don't think the menu is quite right, I have to order extra rice 🍚..I wouldn't go again, disappointed...😡😡😡😷😷😷

I live in the neighborhood so stopped by on my way home. The food here is pretty decent and the service was fine, but the gentleman in the picture with the large winter coat was working behind the kitchen and spitting everywhere, in the sink, on the floor, in the bin, it was pretty off-putting to watch. A shame, since overall the place seems rather decent.

Ordered a spicy dish. The service will come and check whether this is really the intention. Great service. Dish was cold beef. In terms of spiciness, it's a hit.

I passed by to order and the waitress was very rude. She thought I was her staff? She asked me to close the door because it was cold outside, but she did not even say a polite word. She just pointed her hand at me and started being annoyed because she thought I did not close the door. Please stop being rude because you lost lots of customers.

Door de grote keuze is het lastig bepalen wat nu precies de keuken is die ze het beste bedienen. Ik had een Thaise Curry die qua smaak goed was maar had deze romiger verwacht. Service is snel en portie-grootte is meer dan prima.

As someone who is Chinese, dining at this restaurant felt like a comforting taste of home. The flavors and dishes reminded me of the authentic cuisine we have back in our homeland. I highly recommend trying their stir-fried noodles and fried rice; they capture the essence of traditional Chinese cooking perfectly. It's difficult for me to choose just one favorite dish because everything I tried was incredibly delicious. Each bite transported me back to the familiar tastes and aromas that I crave.

Eten was prima, maar de ambiance kan zeker een upgrade gebruiken. Helaas is het onderhoud plausibel. Zo stond er een ventilator te draaien die bruin was van het vuil/vet.

Leckeres Essen und ausreichend große Portionen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wenn beim Essen "scharf" steht, dann ist es auch so. Immer wieder gerne.

Tijdens ons bezoek aan Amsterdam op de terug weg hier gegeten. Als je binnenkomt waan je je bijna in het buitenland waar je een klein lokaal food restaurantje binnenloopt. Nix geen fancy uitstraling. Helemaal top! Na de bestelling in aan de zuil kan je uit twee grote koelkasten zelf je bestelde drankje pakken en een tafel kiezen. De onze was nog heel erg vettig er kwam gelijk een medewerker aan die de tafel netjes heeft schoongemaakt. Het is eten is echt heerlijk! Echt waar voor je geld. Een kleine puntje van kritiek zou zijn het volume van de muziek, dat was best hard.. wij komen zeker terug!

Bestelling was naar verkeerd adres gegaan!, ik kreeg gewoon netjes mijn geld terug wat een service! (Eet hier heel vaak super eten!)

Great restaurant that we use a lot for take away. A lot of dishes to choose from for a reasonable price. The Combination/Month offers are great. Once they forgot an extra curry egg and they brought us a free bottle of wine with the next delivery!

Whenever I'm working in the office, I get my lunch from little China Town. Friendly staff and variety of food options to choose from for an affordable price.

Goed eten voor weinig snel geholpen

Afgehaald en het was goed en veel voor een prima prijs. Heb ondertussen ook binnen gegeten tijdens de lunch, ook prima. Beide keren Saoto genomen, en die is top.

Eten is niet zo bijzonder, duur en porties vallen mee qua grootte. Kam Yin naast de Albert Heijn is veel goedkoper en lekkerder.

Sehr lecker. Sehr große Portion. Da wir nur im Urlaub hier waren konnten wir es nicht wie zuhause nochmal einpacken lassen und mitnehmen. Personal war auch sehr nett. Bestellt wird über Computer wie zb bei McDonalds. Leider waren die dort stehenden Getränke nicht vorrätig.

The staff r friendly and will help u with your ordering, they have a fast service and it incredibly doesn't affect the quality of the food. They r TOP NOTCH all around. Klein (afhaal)restaurant. Je kan er ook ter plaatse eten achterin de zaak. Het oogt van buitenaf niet zo heel veel maar niets is minder waar. Broodjes zijn fantastisch en het is voor Amsterdamse begrippen ook niet duur!

Erg lekker gegeten voor een zeer acceptabel bedrag. Het eten was vers bereid en erg smaakvol. De porties zijn ook behoorlijk groot. Ben je van plan om naar een concert te gaan in ziggo dome of Afas live? Dan moet je hier absoluut gaan eten.
