Great brunch especially the Turkish one!

Very cute Brunch spot with outdoor seating and a lovely fresh menu.

I went at 11 am on Saturday, and it was crowded! Luckily, I was able to get a seat, but it was very cramped, so it was uncomfortable... For instance, this isn't really a place for quiet conversation, but since it's so loud, you can't hear each other unless you shout. Also, the tables were so close together that I felt self-conscious haha. However, I think it might be an appealing place for those who enjoy a lively atmosphere!! The service was very friendly! But because it was so cramped, a staff member almost hit my face a few times with their elbow while serving a neighboring table, which was quite embarrassing haha. The food was really delicious! At first glance, the portions looked small, but once you actually eat, it's quite filling. I felt the food was a bit on the salty side, so I recommend it to those who like spicy food!

Little Collins was one of my favorite meals in amsterdam. The food is beyond amazing and the service was great. It's in a great neighborhood as well.

I am visiting Amsterdam for my first time and had a friend recommend Little Collins for brunch. I went on Saturday and had an Australian waitress who served me, she was fantastic. I had the beef short rib and it was amazing, loved the quesadilla!! Also tried the potato rosti, so crunchy and delicious. Would recommend to any friends visiting the area.

The menu is original. Fried halloumi plate tasted nice but too spicy, it covered the other ingredients. The restaurant is too loud inside and it wss difficult to get the service’s attention.

We decided to try this place after seeing it in Topjaw, and we were absolutely delighted! Their coffee and egg-based breakfast plates were simply amazing. We had poached eggs with rösti and banana bread to go with our coffee. Everything we tried was incredibly delicious. The atmosphere is very pleasant, and orders arrive incredibly quickly. A little tip: If you go early in the morning, close to opening time, you can easily find a seat without waiting in line. We wholeheartedly recommend it!

The Turkish eggs were unreal. The quality of food is incredible as is the customer service.

Amazing food, as always! We ordered four things off the menu along with drinks, the highlight was the Bloody Mary! A little hiccup at the restaurant which was resolved promptly by the management.

Easily one of the city’s top brunch destinations. The location is fantastic, the terrace is a pleasure to sit on, and the quality of the food is outstanding. Every detail is thoughtfully executed, making it a place you’ll want to return to again and again. A true must-visit for brunch lovers.

Easily one of my favourite brunch places in Amsterdam. Easy going atmosphere, nice service and delicious meals. Them having an orange wine by the glass (and a good one!!) was a pleasant surprise. Will definitely come back again.

Poor service. We were told to wait 5 minutes, but ended up waiting 30 while people who arrived after us were seated and eating. When we pointed it out, the waiter gave us attitude instead of apologizing. Very poor customer service.

The dishes arrived quickly, hot and delicious. The service was very warm and attentive. Very good!

We ate here around 2 pm. The staff were welcoming and polite. The food, for us Italians who work in the restaurant business, is no small thing. It had a unique balance, incredible and refined flavors. I believe in the owners' innovative tradition. They were present and smiling, ready to help if necessary, young people like us who were far from their usual habits. We also drank very well, both cocktails and wine by the glass, and also a special mention for their homemade juices. In short, when we step out of our comfort zones, we always try to respect other people's traditions because they can teach us and amaze us. This is the beauty of the restaurant business.

I'm very angry but very happy. Absolute rip off. However, it was very very tasty. I am confused. Therefore 2 stars. Banana bread for 8 euros, you must be having a laugh!! I could fly to Costa Rica for that price and get the real deal. Also the babycino price made me wish I never had a baby.

Delicious brunch! The poached eggs with asparagus and leaks were out of this world. We also had the French toast with a banana curd which was also good. They don’t have high chairs, a changing table or kids menu so not an ideal little kid spot. But they do have babychinos.

I ordered a chili tea and 18 hour slow cooked beef. Tea: a mix of mint, ginger chili and lemon, which had a sour sweet and strong taste. It was quite good. 18 hour: Delicious dish. The meat was soft as butter and tasty. The egg was well cooked. The pickled cucumbers that looked like green pesto were sour and went well with the dish. The brown paste was also good. Service was good. Waiter 1 was a nice guy. Second visit: I ordered hollandaise, orange juice and cheesecake. Hollandaise: Also a delicious dish. I really liked what was under the eggs. The salad and salmon were nice. The eggs were nice and soft. I would have thought that there would also be bread with the dish because there will be some liquid from the egg yolks when you cut into the eggs. Orange juice: a little sour, but not too sour. It was good. Cheesecake: very nice. It was creamy mixed with sourness from the berries. I just needed a napkin for dessert. Service was fine. Waiter 2 was ok.

One of the most unusual breakfasts I've ever had. But it was delicious! Lots of people, even on a Monday, and the coffee was delicious.

Absolutely phenomenal food. The battered halloumi dish was so delicious and incredibly well balanced. The staff were so kind and helpful. Note because it is so great it is difficult to get a table!

We had a lovely breakfast here. My husband ordered the poached eggs and I had the Turkish our meals. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The person at the table next to us asked what I got, ordered the same, and said he loved it too. The outdoor seating made it even better — set on a quiet, car-free street, it felt especially peaceful and enjoyable.

Loved our lunch here! We had trouble picking something because everything sounded equally delicious and when the food came we weren't disappointed. We also had the best chai we've ever had here, so I can definitely recommend getting that. We'll definitely stop by again when we're in Amsterdam!

It’s easy to see why Little Collins De Pijp is constantly topping the lists for best brunch in Amsterdam. The food is absolutely incredible—every dish is packed with bold, unique flavors that really set them apart from your standard breakfast spot. The restaurant is located in a very lovely part of the De Pijp neighborhood, making it a perfect place to spend a morning. Just a heads-up: because it's so popular, there is a very high chance you'll encounter a queue. People are clearly keen to eat here for a reason, and in my opinion, the wait is definitely worth it for the quality of the meal!

Great brunch selection for meat lovers and vegetarians. Very small menu but with great creative options. Weekends are very busy with 1hr waiting, weekdays is less busy with mostly no waiting time.

Service was ok - we were sat down, but the waitress realised she sat us ahead of another couple, so asked us to vacate the table but said another table was leaving literally within a minute later. Just seemed a little inconvenient to move us and I saw it happen to another group. However, the food was really good.

Came here on the recommendation of a friend. We arrived at about the 12.30 and were seated immediately, however loads of people arrived after us and needed to queue for a long time, so plan accordingly. Staff were great, menu was small and interesting and the place was really vibey. One of our dishes was amazing, the other one wasn’t a little strange- regardless we will definitely be back.

Little Collins is my absolute favorite brunch place in Amsterdam. I came here many times (as you can see on the pictures - different dishes from different months/years) and I always recommend it to friends as the best place to have brunch. I think plant based / vegan and vegetarian options are phenomenal - not the boring avocado toast. Basque cheesecake is so good as well! My boyfriend loves the slow cooked ribs or brisket. Also menu changes with seasons so its always a surprise. There is no reservations so be ready to wait for a while - can be over 30 minutes - but it’s always totally worth it! If you come outside of rush hours you can get place immediately. Coffee is good and bloody mary is the best I had in my life.

This is a great brunch spot. Really tasty mushrooms on toast were spot on for a chilly autumn day. Good vibes inside. Basque cheesecake is top notch and so is the coffee. Stayed for a while to work - shame there isn’t WiFi, but could connect to data for emails etc

I would say one of the best spots for brunch in Amsterdam. We had Turkish Labneh eggs and French toast. Both were great and well seasoned. The service was good and staff were friendly! Highly recommend this place.

Excellent food, brunch menu with a different twist!

I ordered mushrooms with eggs, it wasn't delicious at all, and the eggs were terribly rancid on the plate. The glasses and plates weren't clean. A star for the seating area, and a star for the beautiful atmosphere. I also ordered halloumi, which tasted amazing.

Fabulous food but very long wait.

Good food, but be careful when paying by card! The food was really delicious. Unfortunately, the experience was ruined by what happened with the payment. We had chosen to add a tip by card, and the receipt we received was correct. However, it turned out later that a higher amount had been debited than what was stated on the receipt. The waiter also took the receipt from the table surprisingly quickly without asking, which didn't seem so strange at the time—but after a bit of calculation, we understood why. In short: the food is great, but always double-check the card amount before paying. It's a shame that such a lovely evening ends up with a bad taste in this way.

Go on off hours only or be persistent because they will forget about you. ----------------- Full Review: I'm sad because this review would've been 5 stars but I recently visited and had a horrible experience. Walked up and they said there's a line so we joined the wait-list. We didn't specify whether we wanted inside or outside. There's was a tiny outside table that was empty, but no one was sitting there because it was in a horrible spot. We walk away and come back in 25 minutes after getting the wait-list ping just to get sat at the tiny outside table. Why did we wait 25 minutes? No idea. We tell the main waitress we want to sit inside. And we will wait. They tell us just to sit at the tiny table and they'll move us inside as soon as one opens up. That never happens, they completely forget about us, even after we mention to 2 other wait staff we are waiting for table inside. Finally we ask the main waitress what is going on? She said "Are you on the wait-list?". She had totally forgot she sat us outside and that we wanted to move inside. Then when we asked well there's an open inside table, they said sorry your wait-list was for "outdoor only" even though we selected no such thing, even after she said to just wait and she'd move us. I think she just didn't want to admit her own mistake.

Our second time here, this time trying the salmon after having beef before – both were excellent! It’s a lovely spot for a couple sharing and exploring new dishes together. A bit on the pricey side, but perfect if you split one main and a dessert, like the Basque cheesecake we had for breakfast – such a treat. From the outside the place looks simple, yet the dishes have real charm and a unique twist. Definitely keen to return and discover more. 🍰🐟🥩

My partner came here for a Saturday brunch - cannot recommend enough! It was the perfect brunch experience. The staff were friendly and we had a sweet little table on the street outside. We ordered the labneh and braised rib - so delicious! Will definitely come back next time we're in Amsterdam.

We went here on a sunny weekday, and since it was busy, we had to wait a bit. There’s a QR code at the door where you can drop your name, see the waiting time, and go for a walk or grab a coffee nearby while you wait. Food-wise, it’s definitely a treat. The flavors are rich, the portion was enough for me but can see people be challenging it. It’s not your everyday brunch. Prices are on the higher side, but honestly quite standard for Amsterdam 🤷🏼‍♀️ The only downside was the service. Drinks and the check took a while, and the overall pace on the logistics side could be improved. Still, the taste really made up for it, and I’d say it’s worth visiting if you’re looking for a brunch spot that feels a bit more indulgent

Amazing brunch — creative flavors, well executed, high quality ingredients. Dining outside was so lovely, and my husband had one of the best bloody Mary’s he’s ever had (and he tries them everywhere we go). He got the short rib quesadilla (not a typical American style quesadilla) and I got the kimchi potato pancake with poached eggs and bacon. Flavors were fantastic! Also bonus points for having plenty of gluten free options, like the two we ordered. Service was a little slow, but they were pretty busy. We went on Tuesday at 1 PM, so I can’t even imagine how busy they get on weekends…

Food was ok, but place itself rather pretentious overall. Asked to get sauce on the side, but that was an impossible task for the kitchen team. If you feel like a hipster and want to be seen sure, foodwise I can't take this seriously at all. Won't visit again.

This may be my favorite restaurant in Amsterdam. The area is great, just outside of all the packed tourist area. Went with some friends for brunch and sat inside. I ate the Kimchi Potato plate, and it was incredible. They make everything in-house. The hot sauce, the kimchi, the pickled onion...etc. Will return to surf the entire menu. If you go during peak times, there might be a short wait, but worth it.

I came here for Australian inspired brunch, but due to lack of time we went for the coffee. I had a cappuccino – and it was the best one this summer season! Just as i like it with the flavour, and just like they do it in the best cafes in Sydney and Melbourne!
