Really good place, love the atmosphere. The service was incredible. The Bloody Mary was amazing. Also the food. Nice place to brunch with family and friends. 10/10 will come back for sure.

Little Collins is my absolute favorite brunch place in Amsterdam. I came here many times (as you can see on the pictures - different dishes from different months/years) and I always recommend it to friends as the best place to have brunch. I think plant based / vegan and vegetarian options are phenomenal - not the boring avocado toast. Basque cheesecake is so good as well! My boyfriend loves the slow cooked ribs or brisket. Also menu changes with seasons so its always a surprise. There is no reservations so be ready to wait for a while - can be over 30 minutes - but it’s always totally worth it! If you come outside of rush hours you can get place immediately. Coffee is good and bloody mary is the best I had in my life.

This is a great brunch spot. Really tasty mushrooms on toast were spot on for a chilly autumn day. Good vibes inside. Basque cheesecake is top notch and so is the coffee. Stayed for a while to work - shame there isn’t WiFi, but could connect to data for emails etc

I would say one of the best spots for brunch in Amsterdam. We had Turkish Labneh eggs and French toast. Both were great and well seasoned. The service was good and staff were friendly! Highly recommend this place.

Excellent food, brunch menu with a different twist!

I ordered mushrooms with eggs, it wasn't delicious at all, and the eggs were terribly rancid on the plate. The glasses and plates weren't clean. A star for the seating area, and a star for the beautiful atmosphere. I also ordered halloumi, which tasted amazing.

Good food, but be careful when paying by card! The food was really delicious. Unfortunately, the experience was ruined by what happened with the payment. We had chosen to add a tip by card, and the receipt we received was correct. However, it turned out later that a higher amount had been debited than what was stated on the receipt. The waiter also took the receipt from the table surprisingly quickly without asking, which didn't seem so strange at the time—but after a bit of calculation, we understood why. In short: the food is great, but always double-check the card amount before paying. It's a shame that such a lovely evening ends up with a bad taste in this way.

Lovely cafe in Amsterdam, if you can, grab a spot outside. The labneh eggs were well seasoned, coffee was on point. It did remind me of the brunch scene if Australia

Walked up and they said there's a line so we joined the wait-list. We didn't specify whether we wanted inside or outside. There's was a tiny outside table that was empty, but no one was sitting there because it was in a horrible spot. We walk away and come back in 25 minutes after getting the wait-list ping just to get sat at the tiny outside table. Why did we wait 25 minutes? No idea. We tell the main waitress we want to sit inside. And we will wait. They tell us just to sit at the tiny table and they'll move us inside as soon as one opens up. That never happens, they completely forget about us, even after we mention to 2 other wait staff we are waiting for table inside. Finally we ask the main waitress what is going on? She said "Are you on the wait-list?". She had totally forgot she sat us outside and that we wanted to move inside. Then when we asked well there's an open inside table, they said sorry your wait-list was for "outdoor only" even though we selected no such thing, even after she said to just wait and she'd move us. I think she just didn't want to admit her own mistake.

Our second time here, this time trying the salmon after having beef before – both were excellent! It’s a lovely spot for a couple sharing and exploring new dishes together. A bit on the pricey side, but perfect if you split one main and a dessert, like the Basque cheesecake we had for breakfast – such a treat. From the outside the place looks simple, yet the dishes have real charm and a unique twist. Definitely keen to return and discover more. 🍰🐟🥩

My partner came here for a Saturday brunch - cannot recommend enough! It was the perfect brunch experience. The staff were friendly and we had a sweet little table on the street outside. We ordered the labneh and braised rib - so delicious! Will definitely come back next time we're in Amsterdam.

We went here on a sunny weekday, and since it was busy, we had to wait a bit. There’s a QR code at the door where you can drop your name, see the waiting time, and go for a walk or grab a coffee nearby while you wait. Food-wise, it’s definitely a treat. The flavors are rich, the portion was enough for me but can see people be challenging it. It’s not your everyday brunch. Prices are on the higher side, but honestly quite standard for Amsterdam 🤷🏼‍♀️ The only downside was the service. Drinks and the check took a while, and the overall pace on the logistics side could be improved. Still, the taste really made up for it, and I’d say it’s worth visiting if you’re looking for a brunch spot that feels a bit more indulgent

Amazing brunch — creative flavors, well executed, high quality ingredients. Dining outside was so lovely, and my husband had one of the best bloody Mary’s he’s ever had (and he tries them everywhere we go). He got the short rib quesadilla (not a typical American style quesadilla) and I got the kimchi potato pancake with poached eggs and bacon. Flavors were fantastic! Also bonus points for having plenty of gluten free options, like the two we ordered. Service was a little slow, but they were pretty busy. We went on Tuesday at 1 PM, so I can’t even imagine how busy they get on weekends…

Food was ok, but place itself rather pretentious overall. Asked to get sauce on the side, but that was an impossible task for the kitchen team. If you feel like a hipster and want to be seen sure, foodwise I can't take this seriously at all. Won't visit again.

This may be my favorite restaurant in Amsterdam. The area is great, just outside of all the packed tourist area. Went with some friends for brunch and sat inside. I ate the Kimchi Potato plate, and it was incredible. They make everything in-house. The hot sauce, the kimchi, the pickled onion...etc. Will return to surf the entire menu. If you go during peak times, there might be a short wait, but worth it.

I come here now for 6 years and it’s my favorite breakfast place! Food always best quality and they change the menu often. Chill and kind service. Best bloody marys! I always take my friends who visit Amsterdam and they love it too.

I came here for Australian inspired brunch, but due to lack of time we went for the coffee. I had a cappuccino – and it was the best one this summer season! Just as i like it with the flavour, and just like they do it in the best cafes in Sydney and Melbourne!

Everything was delicious. We tried the Lebanon eggs and French toast. It was the best French toast I've ever had. Everything was so fresh, and the ingredients were of the highest quality. However, I can't say the same about the service. The blonde waitress didn't come to us even though we called out to her. We made eye contact, called out to her politely, and called her to order, but she just kept looking at us and walking past us. Maybe she was on break, we don't know, but they could have at least cleared away the leftovers from the previous customer. When a new customer arrives, the table is cleared, which is normal everywhere. Even though we looked at our faces and asked for our order, she pushed us away and moved on. After seeing the other waitress, we called her over and got some decent service. The food is delicious, and it definitely deserves 5 stars. I'm only deducting one point for disrespect, so as not to offend the taste.

Had brunch today at Little Collins, and it was a long-time coming visit. You can’t book a table here, and it’s always quite popular, so it’s tough to get a spot. Luckily, we were in the area around 10 and found a table free, so we hopped right in. The vibe was super pleasant. Service was great. Nothing over the top, but friendly, kind, smiling staff and pretty quick too. We didn’t have to wait ages for anything. We ordered two cappuccinos, a fresh juice, and both of us had poached eggs with labneh, roasted tomatoes, and seeds. Absolutely delicious. The flavors were balanced and everything tasted just right. I spotted a few other dishes around: shakshuka, some French toast, and a kind of salmon eggs Benedict with hollandaise. Everything looked tasty, but I’m glad I picked what I did—it seems to be the popular choice for a reason. We spent about 49 euros in total, which felt reasonable. As a dessert lover, I did check out their sweets, and while they didn’t instantly call to me, maybe I was just too full to give them a fair shot. They might be great, but they just didn’t look like must-try items at first glance. Overall, good experience, nice food, friendly service, and worth a visit if you’re in the area.

I honestly can’t put into words what I tasted here, it completely blew me away. We ordered the dish with labneh and another with braised beef. Both were distinctive and incredibly delicious, with flavors so rich they truly move you as you eat. Perfectly seasoned, full of depth. The chef deserves a promotion. It’s definitely on the pricey side, but worth every single cent.

Hands down, this is the best brunch in Amsterdam! They keep things exciting with a regularly changing, super seasonal menu. It's so good, I find myself going back every time I'm in the city!

I founded ridiculously overpriced even though I do understand after covid and the Ukraine war places really needed to up their prices. A glass of hibiscus tea was 8 euros and in a small glass. I mean put it in a big glass with ice and mintl something at that price. It was advertised with honey but I really couldn't taste it. I had the salmon with a poached egg. Anyway a very basic lunch with one drink and a cup of coffee was about 40 euros. And it was nothing to rave about it all. Anyway I think they do fine so go and see for yourself. The staff were pretty nice.

An absolutely gorgeous breakfast / brunch restaurant that seems to be a part of the amazing early meal movement somehow originating from Australia. I assume Little Collins is based on a famous Melbourne street. The food here is highly seasonal, very flavorsome and quite international leaning on European / American with Asian influences. Starting from chia with coconut, lime curd and finely sliced fruit, moving onto avocado with charred vegetables and harissa and waffle with egg, beans, chipotle and jalapeño, you just feel engulfed in a whirlwind of amazing yet understandable flavors and you immediately realize you will be coming back here. The service is simple but good. I remember the chef moving with absolute precision while she and an assistant serviced at least 35 covers. She also managed to serve us food at the bar and talk a bit. Admirably good.

Situated in the Pijp, it enjoys considerable popularity and can become quite busy. The only potential drawback is that some tables are positioned rather closely together, which might occasionally lead to a less-than-ideal experience if seated near loud people.

I'd always wanted to have brunch at Little Collins. The website stated 'ONLY WALK IN,' so I arrived expecting to be seated. When I entered, no one acknowledged me, and when I tried to sit at one of the three empty outdoor tables, a server stopped me. She informed me there was an hour-long waitlist and that I needed to scan a QR code to book a table. This contradicts the website's 'walk-in only' policy. They should clearly state the reservation process online. Be clear.

Good food but prices are a bit much even for Amsterdam

The stuff was kind and the food was good. But was it worth the price? I don’t think so. Even for Amsterdam it’s quite pricey and you only get half a piece of bread on the side (you can buy more bread for 8€??)

As a brunchie who loves my Eggs Benedict, I can honestly say that their salmon and rösti version was MIND-BLOWING. Hollandaise whisked by angels or what? Almost wanted to put the stuff in my pocket, bring it home and use it as a body butter (however, it was all consumed in one go, so don't worry friends). 10/10 - thanks, chef! ♡

What a ridiculous place ! You have to apologise to be served

We tried several brunch places in De Pijp, and Little Collins definitely stood out. The dishes were beautiful and rich in flavor, with some unexpected (but very effective) combinations. I also liked that the sweet dishes were not overly sweet, but rather layered and interesting.

Excellent food, always. Love the vibe and pairs well with the sun. Only wish they were less crowded / had spacious seating or more staff: the service could sometimes be a bit too slow - but its still my preferred brunch place in Amsterdam.

If you travel to Amsterdam, you have a mandatory visit, recommending brunch or lunch, here you eat very quickly. It is always full, they do not reserve, they take your note and their waiting time is usually 15-20 minutes. It is a very dynamic, modern, current place with a lot of life, a natural environment, no posturing. The food is very special, tasty, different and with countless mixtures of both meats and vegetables, spices, contrast of flavors where the pickle is always present. The menu is changed regularly. The cuisine they offer originates from Australia. It will not leave you indifferent and if you return to this lively city, you will surely repeat. This is my fourth time!!!

Fun place to go for brunch. We sat outside on a lovely sunny day. Food was really tasty and inspired - beyond the usual French toast, pancakes and eggs. I tried the kimchi toast with poached eggs and avocado. Really tasty with a hint of spice and perfectly poached eggs. Other dishes were equally as fresh and interesting.
