A truly wonderful overall experience! The food was superbly prepared and tasted fantastic. Add to that the very attentive and friendly service, which left nothing to be desired. The atmosphere in the restaurant is rustic and cozy – just right for a relaxing evening. Definitely 5 stars!

We really enjoyed our meal! 😋 We had pasta and beef fillet. The beef fillet was delicious, absolutely fantastic, and the pasta was also very tasty. Los Santos is a great hidden gem near the main shopping street. The food is excellent!

We were so tired after walking and this place was quieter than most around and although not highly recommended, we decided to go in. What a great time we had, . The wait staff was delightful and very funny! Food was great. My husband had Bolognese pasta and I had a pizza. We both enjoyed and the wine & beer were good as well. Even the customers were great. We all visited during dinner. The waiter even surprised us with a lemoncelo shot before we left. If you are looking for a quieter spot with fair prices, I suggest this restaurant.

The food is very good and reasonably priced. The staff is very, very friendly and funny. We've been here three times in a row and will definitely come again.

A very welcoming restaurant with a calm and discreet atmosphere, ideal for a pleasant meal. The service is attentive and well-balanced: the waiter is present without being intrusive. We waited about 30 minutes for our food, which is quite reasonable, as are the prices. The pizzas were very good, as were the pasta dishes. A great place to eat in the center of Amsterdam.

After waiting over 40 minutes for our food and seeing two tables that arrived after us get theirs, we complained, and to top it off, the owner got rude to us. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT. All they brought was some frozen calamari, and the drinks were ridiculously expensive.

The place's a bit run-down, and the food isn't anything special, to be honest. It's not cheap, and they ask guests to leave their service (they emphasize that it's not included).

Pizza was really good, lot of cheese and thick crust. Home like atmosphere, friendly waiters, looks family owned. The food was quite expensive thought.

The restaurant is very well located and we were able to get a table without any problems even though we were a larger group. Overall, the place made a clean and well-kept impression. I also appreciated that they accepted Amex. At first, the waiter did not want to let us pay separately. In the end it was possible, but we had to calculate ourselves how much each person had to pay. In my opinion, this is something the service could have handled. Unfortunately, the food took quite a long time to arrive. Personally, I did not like my pizza very much. Some people in our group liked theirs, while others found it average. Overall, it was a mixed experience with some positive aspects but also room for improvement.

The pizza was delicious. The waiter was rude and refused to check our bills individually as a group of 12, handing us the bill instead. We had to add it all up ourselves and then pay. We had to wait a very long time for our food. Mistakes were also made when we took our drinks order. While we were still eating, they started removing the table decorations for other guests. We weren't asked if we wanted dessert. Although there was space upstairs for our group, we had to squeeze into the main room downstairs, split up. After we each paid individually, he complained that he had received hardly any tips.

The food was okay but nothing overwhelming. The Ambiente was also okay. Now coming to the service: The service was awful. Not from the waitress but from the WAITER! We were a larger group of 12 Persons and we wanted to pay seperately. He wasn‘t able to split the bill so he wanted us to calculate it! He took away the deco and candles when we were still eating and sitting at the table and wanted to push us out. When everybody paid he complained about not getting tipped enough. Not a experience we can recommend to anyone!

Not an Argentinian restaurant, that is for sure. Yet, Pizza and Hamburgers tasted good, although again... not Argentinian style neither vibe. At the end the bartender (owner?) kind of force you to leave by removing your dish before you are ready and to leave a Tip (awkward).

Good morning! I just remembered the name of the restaurant today! I was there in November with my family and was served by Paulo, a really nice guy. He probably remembers me. If you go to Amsterdam, look for Paulo and tell him Vinicius sent you there. The food is great!

Our experience at Los Santos was generally positive in terms of service: the staff was friendly and the food arrived quite quickly, which we appreciated. We ordered the 400-gram meat mix, which cost over €40. However, we felt that both the variety and the presentation did not meet our expectations. We would also like to mention something important to avoid confusion for other customers. According to the Diner-Cadeau website, the restaurant is listed as a participating location where the card can be used. However, when we visited, the waiter seemed unfamiliar with it and told us it could not be used there. If the restaurant is indeed not affiliated, we kindly suggest contacting Diner-Cadeau to update the information so future guests do not experience confusion or an uncomfortable situation.

A pleasant, cozy, and not-too-large restaurant. But that doesn't detract from the quality of the food. Friendly and attentive service, provided by a "slightly older" gentleman. The "online" menu differs slightly from the on-site menu, but that wasn't (or wasn't) a problem for us. It's not haute cuisine, but all the dishes are honest, genuine, plentiful, and delicious. And all for a reasonable price.

I will never even go near this place again, it's a complete rip-off. They brought the bill as soon as we finished our meal; we didn't even have five minutes to chat. I would never recommend it to tourists. You can easily find a better pizza anywhere else. I definitely do not recommend visiting this restaurant. As soon as you finish your meal, they bring the bill immediately and don't even give you time to sit and chat. The prices are extremely high considering the level of service provided. Please do not delete my review.

The service was excellent, the staff were super friendly and very accommodating. The food was delicious, especially for the price! With two drinks, a generous appetizer, and a large pizza (which I couldn't finish), it still cost under €30.

Been here on NYE, great welcoming, food was 5 Stars…especially the rumpsteak & pasta pollo! Staff is very alert all the time. Definitely will come back right here, if visiting Amsterdam again. TRUST ME, I LOVE FOOD AND THIS WAS PERFECT!!!!

I guess it's one of these grill restaurants that make up their identity to south american grassroots but are not original and you find them all over the city, some are definitely honest and good value. I ordered a fish and chips here, that should actually not even be on the menu probably because something told me the stake would not be a wise choice. The plate arrived there was a large deeply fried cod with a thick crust, quite hard. There was no tartar sauce nothing else. So I learned the restaurant counts about 20 years and so they must be doing something right. The owner gave me the impression of a smart guy super polite with his guests and professional, so it was more likely that I had been a bit stressed. The area is one of the hotspots in downtown and fills with tourists all days so there might be a limit on what you can get.

Don’t make the mistake to go inside! Very bad service,waiting more than 1hour for the food (even there was just few tables in the restaurant).The steak we ordered was brought cold,after complain they put it probably to microwave. The Neapolitan pasta was Italian’s worst nightmare. The price didn’t correspond with the quality at all.

We made a reservation through Diner Cadeau and also mentioned that we had a Diner Cadeau voucher. Once we arrived, we asked again if we could redeem the voucher there. The answer was no, something to do with the owner, blah blah blah. Okay, so be it, if the atmosphere had been more pleasant, I would have stayed and just paid cash, but the atmosphere was gone. We quickly left and found another nice place (where we just pay cash). Another experience richer and one illusion poorer.

Another delicious meal (for the sixth time since discovering this restaurant two years ago). My kids love this restaurant. Well, that might also have something to do with the name of the restaurant, because it's also the name of the city in GTA 5 🤣... This time I ordered the 400g tenderloin. And medium is truly medium. Nicely browned on the outside and pink on the inside. Really well cooked. The service is sometimes a bit difficult when you explain something in English, but the waiter doesn't understand; the food makes up for it. The atmosphere could be a bit more cozy, perhaps a bit darker inside with a bit of reddish dim lighting. But hey, no whining, I'll just have to open my own restaurant. On to the seventh time...

Tourist trap! I really don't recommend this restaurant. The pizzas are frozen, as are the fries, and the portions are meager for the price. The drinks listed on the menu are not the ones served (Coke Zero (listed on the menu) = Pepsi (served to the customer). It's very disappointing.

A tourist trap!!! Frozen pizza, piece of meat (200g) I'm still looking for the 200g there was maybe 50g of meat. Fries or other side dishes are paid in addition to the piece of meat at least €20. No taste. The service is not included in the bill. Very expensive for the food offered

Me and my cousin came to eat something not expensive and we eat 2 Argentina steak for 32 euros with fried and salad and are awesome I super recommend for eat a very good food and not expensive!

We were the first customers in the early evening, but the small restaurant filled up within an hour. An excellent mixed grill platter, especially the beef tenderloin, which was outstanding. We went back the next evening, even though there are other options nearby. Friendly service and staff. Reasonable prices.

We all enjoyed our food. Unfortunately, two of our party ordered lasagna and it took about 10 minutes for them to come to our table to tell us they were out of lasagna. So we had to re-order. Staff and owners were very friendly and attentive. I wasn't a fan of the big red "service not included " written across our bill. We would have tipped regardless, but it put me off a bit.

The food and service is realy good. It has a calm and relaxed vibe. The meat was prepaired perfectly. We ordered some pepper saus on the side. Wich if not made right tastes like soap. However, the one we ordered was perfect. I have nothing bad to say about this place. There is some nice music in the background. But low enouth that you dont have to shout to hear eachother. The toilets are also realy clean.

The value for money is really lousy. I'm Argentinian and meat in Argentina has nothing to do with that. There I was allowed to have a shoe sole filled with water. And charging for the service and the sauces is really ugly. Tourists are not cash cows.

Food was really great, I actually went in because of the special offers, but you only get an offer upon request, they aren't even on the menu. The same dishes that are on the menu are at least 5 euros more expensive. Service was good, but we paid the price for that. Steak was dry, definitely not of good quality, pork ribs are probably just from the supermarket. So, if you have something else, then it's better not here...

We planned on eating somewhere else, but as our dog was not allowed there, we stumbled upon this quaint restaurant. Although not very appealing at first, our attitude warmed up when the server spoke to us. He and the other waitress were patient with us and had some good recommendations for us, and the food was understandably tasty. Would definitely recommend.

We bring to your attention a dish for 20+ euros. Dry schnitzels from the store and unsalted potatoes. Only the sauce, which we had to ask for, saved the situation a little. But for the latter, you will also pay a tip, which will be added to the bill without asking 👍
