Horrible experience. I came here to return a broken case. That went smoothly. Then I wanted to use the remaining balance combined with a voucher for a mouse that, according to the website, was in stock in Arnhem. This turned out not to be the case. The employee advised me to order it online. However, you have to pay upfront there, and you can't use your voucher. Now I'm going to Coolblue, where the same mouse is cheaper, and I can spend my remaining balance there. Never again to MediaMarkt, or you'd be crazy.

I've ordered a PS5 since November 21st, and it still hasn't arrived. Customer service says the product is out of stock, even though the website says it is. Poor communication and no clear delivery date. This is causing a lot of frustration.

Very poor service when it comes to repairs. I bought a Hisense washing machine in September, and within two weeks the motor stopped working. I made an appointment through MediaMarkt for repairs, and I had to wait three weeks for a technician to arrive. The problem was solved, and a new motor was installed... guess what, last Friday it stopped working again, and the same problem. I called MediaMarkt and was supposed to receive an email, but I only received it today. They wanted to offer it for repair again, and I'll be without a washing machine for weeks. I wondered about the costs of washing at a gas station. They didn't answer. I called Hisense myself, and someone answered the phone whom I could barely understand, barely speaking Dutch, and who also said, "Yes, within 24 hours, you'll receive an email and then an appointment can be made." In other words, figure it out more.

What a disgraceful service you get here! No one takes responsibility, leaving it all up to the salespeople! You're being passed from pillar to post... But do you really want to review things by using cards with employee names? Don't buy your stuff here, but from smaller businesses where you'll be listened to.

I wanted to buy my new phone (Google Pixel 10 Pro XL) as cheaply as possible. Thanks to the help of two professional employees at the Arnhem branch, I managed to do just that! It was great that I could clone my old phone to the new one right there. Oh, and the coffee was excellent too.

Well, it's fun to wander around and look at and touch products. Without special offers, there's not really a reason to buy there. Personally, I don't think they have good service and warranties.

At the end of January 2025, I bought a Samsung dryer and washing machine from Mediamarkt, specifically stating that the laundry also had massage oil residue. No problem, a great choice; the seller claims Samsung is quality. After five weeks, the rubber ring was severely deformed. Samsung: the 5-year warranty doesn't apply to the rubber ring. On May 23rd, Samsung Service finally came to repair it and stated: the ring construction is weak and not suitable for oily laundry; even baby oil is bad. But this new ring was supposed to be better! Mediamarkt did, however, reimburse the replacement costs, which was quite generous. Samsung hadn't informed them that the problem would go wrong and keep going wrong. After three loads, there was another small deformation. So, a useless washing machine. In September, I bought a new steel seal ASKO washing machine through Expert, who provided expert advice, including a special under-tub drain that was professionally installed. Well, Mediamarkt says they don't want to recall and credit the Samsung washing machine, so they'll send it to Samsung. Samsung called on September 29th, asking Mediamarkt to fix it. So if you are looking for a good washing machine and service: ASKO via Expert!

Bought a Samsung phone, and within six months the screen suddenly stopped turning on (it hadn't been dropped or wet). It was repaired under warranty, which took six weeks, and instead of just replacing the screen, they also did a factory reset, which completely wiped everything out, thank you. After two years and four weeks of purchase, I'm still experiencing the exact same issue. Too bad, no warranty, just buy a new one. Zero goodwill. Absolutely terrible service.

From small to large appliances, you can find everything here. Household appliances, stereos, TVs, and photos. And always just a little bit cheaper.

Incredibly long lines if you want to ask a staff member something. Too few staff in the store, and you have to wait 30 minutes just to ask a question. You used to get decent information and genuine advice about a product. Now they look at the most expensive and try to sell you that. So you end up buying something online somewhere else. This is terrible, driving 40 minutes to the store for nothing.

They have downsized the business. So the choice has become a lot smaller. Before, you almost always bought something. Now it is often out of stock. Ordering online is also a disaster. You can now play as a filter. 100 different articles found under the search query, of which 90 are already sold out or never sold by them at all. In addition, they have become considerably more expensive than the other companies in the area.

Replaced a new iPhone 15 4 times because it kept overheating and draining battery very quickly, even though it was turned off (as you can see in the pictures). No one in the store could tell me what was causing it. I went back today and finally after 2 months of hassle a guy at the counter told me that my case could be blocking the ventilation of the phone. I bought a new case and after 2 minutes my phone was working properly again. This man really deserves a raise!

Customer service people don't know anything, they act defensively. And unfortunately I was also lied to about the cash payment in cash. Only got 200 in cash back while the website states 500 as the maximum. Not my problem, I am just a reflection of a company that is going down the drain. Mediamarkt is not what it used to be. Unfortunately, my experience at MediaMarkt Arnhem was not as I had hoped. The store is well stocked and has a wide range, but the service really left much to be desired. I had to search for a long time for an employee, and it felt more like a quest to get help. When I finally found someone, it took a long time before I was actually helped. We were at it for over an hour, but no coffee was offered, which I would have expected given the time we spent there. What also struck me was that it seemed as if the employee was always trying to sell the most expensive product. Instead of listening to my needs, I was constantly pushed towards the more expensive options, which I didn't find particularly customer-oriented. Ultimately, because of this experience, I decided not to buy anything. The staff were otherwise not rude, but there was no personal involvement or real interest in my needs. The store was neat, but the atmosphere felt impersonal and cold. All in all it was not a pleasant experience. If you are looking for a customer-oriented and friendly service, I unfortunately would not recommend MediaMarkt Arnhem.

The range is smaller than before, but their service is more personal and they provide good information. Very satisfied.

What a terrible store. First a very long wait at the service desk where there was only one employee despite the long line. When an employee finally arrived, it turned out that the product was in the computer for €25 and I was sent back into the store to have the €15 confirmed by another employee. Not so nice. Worthless! Bought a TV but returned it after a day due to the poor picture quality and the clumsy operating system. For a full return, the product must meet 3 conditions: it must be in new condition, complete with all accessories and reasonably in the original packaging. Ordered two Sonos boxes, never delivered by DHL, while MediaM indicates that delivery must be signed for. When asked to see proof of this, it is not provided. I should report the theft, is MM's advice. What a worthless place: not enforcing its own conditions, causing damage to the customer. Never buy anything from MM again.

I bought a Samsung screen in your showroom and paid a monthly insurance against breakage, theft or defect. After 5 months the screen broke so I went to your showroom and the employee was rude in dealing with me I had to wait a month and a half for them to come and look at the TV and after he came he told me that he had not brought the part to be replaced and that it had to be replaced. This used to be my media market. Easily accessible by public transport, and three floors of electronics. I think two of the three floors are no longer there, but the store has certainly become a lot smaller. We were there for the 25th anniversary, and went home with a screwdriver set and a bottle of detergent. That actually says enough.
