Lunchcafé Zus & ZO in Zuid woongebied

A great lunchroom in the same style as a few others in EL. They're quite similar in terms of price/quality, service, and atmosphere. They have some really good dishes (burgers, salads), but also a few that really fall into the "who came up with this" category. The Tex-Mex sandwich is a good example. All in all, a solid place, so 4 stars here too.

Good for lunch. However, we dined here during an event, and the menu was very basic. The taste was okay, though.

We had a wonderful meal at Zus & Zo. Plenty of choices, and the price-quality ratio was excellent. The wrap was delicious. The dessert selection was also wonderful.

The staff working here at the Spectacle were unfriendly and didn't charge the same prices. They even served half a beer because the man was too lazy to open a new 0.0 bottle, and then charged a special beer price. He was definitely special.

We asked to share a dish because we weren't hungry, and that was no problem at all. The wrap was delicious. Very nice. The place could use some maintenance; the ceiling was covered in stains.

We had a delicious sandwich during our hike. It was a cozy spot. I think they had just opened when we got there, because the service took a while. But the longer we sat there, the faster we got.

A very late lunch on a Monday. The restaurant was still open for another half hour, and we had to ask the kitchen if we could still get something to eat. Fortunately, this wasn't a problem. When we tried to order, the other woman told us we couldn't eat anything anymore. After explaining that we'd just asked the kitchen if it was still available, it was okay. We were the only customers. We ordered a sandwich and a salad. The portions were very generous and delicious. The restrooms were clean.

Celebrated our 100th party here! What a great evening with delicious snacks, plenty of drinks and great service.

I visited the Zus & Zo lunch café on Saturday April 5. We arrived around 3pm for a late lunch after a busy day. The terrace was open, the sun was shining, but a fresh wind was blowing, but that didn't spoil the fun! The terrace was half full upon arrival and the young lady who helped us was quickly at our table. We needed a moment to make a choice and later she came back to ask if we had decided yet. I went for the deluxe bouncer (which you can order on white or brown bread). My table companion was stressed about choosing, but with the help of the waitress he was still able to make a choice. The food and drinks arrived quite quickly and the deluxe bouncer tasted great. Egg with roast beef and truffle mayonnaise is a good combination 😉 The only real downside was the time of payment. I think we had to do this for about 25 minutes (and ask twice).

Operation left something to be desired, is unfortunately deteriorating, already noticed several times. Next time I'll go somewhere else for high tea

Only on the busy side, you sit close to each other, otherwise good service and excellent food

Nice and cozy. It was very busy, so we had to wait a little longer. Apple pie and waffles are very tasty. Recommended.

Super nice ladies (hostess behind the bar could be a bit friendlier!) who run the restaurant, but unfortunately our carpacio was practically frozen and we let it thaw for a while, the warm meat sandwich was a dry base layer of bread with a ridiculous mountain of vegetables and on top of it... few slices of meat. Totally out of proportion. The large hair on my flesh did not make it any better, it was removed, but of course the appetite was already gone. :-) A big fail and hope it is an incident. I think that with my catering background I can make a constructive critical note in the hope that something will be done about it because just one free drink probably won't make things right for many other guests.

Great food for a little better price. Service is smooth, neat and friendly. It was busy, which made the atmosphere feel a bit less good to me.

It had been a few years since I had been to Zus & Zo, but my absence was absolutely not the fault of this company. Very good, perfect price. Nice friendly girls in the service. Guys please keep it up.

My husband and I regularly have lunch here. Overall we are satisfied with the atmosphere, the employees and the food. I think it is a disappointment that if you have a complaint and you indicate it during the meal, nothing is done about it. I also stated again at checkout that I was not satisfied and that I had already reported this to another girl. And all you hear is; our apologies. In these times when food is quite expensive, the food must be good and if you complain, something must be done about it. I give the 4 stars for all the other times we had lunch, but I really don't think something like today is possible.

What a good location for a party. The staff served us wonderfully throughout the evening, were very friendly and knowledgeable! The snacks were very varied and delicious!

The sandwich I ordered was not brown but white Cheese not melted.. Took it back into the oven, completely dried out A sandwich belongs in the sandwich maker Heats up quickly without drying out And it was very quiet...we had the time to get it right

The sandwich was tasty but would have preferred the bread toasted...but tastes differ. The goat cheese salad was delicious and surprisingly I only missed a small piece of nut bread.

The food was tasty in general, but the soup was (much) too salty (fresh or from the package??), the sandwich was poorly filled in terms of meat and the tomato with the salad had the taste and texture of one that had been left in the oven overnight. the cooling had been on. Doable, but not worth repeating.

Zus & ZO had provided the catering for the Werkplein. Unfortunately, someone who is allergic to cucumbers quickly got tired of this. There was cucumber everywhere, literally EVERYWHERE!!!! YYYUUUUCCCCCKKKK!!!!

Delicious food. You need to make a reservation because it is very busy, but that doesn't matter.

The food was incredibly tasty and generous. The service was very friendly and up for a chat. The atmosphere of the restaurant was a bit “ordinary”. All in all definitely recommended, we enjoyed it. (Healthy sandwich on Italian roll (definitely recommended) and a grilled cheese sandwich)

Zijn hier al meerdere keren gaan lunchen. Lekker buiten op het terras zitten om iets lekkers uit te zoeken wat vervolgens snel op tafel staat. Ook de bediening is erg vriendelijk. Zeker een aanrader en we komen hier absoluut terug.

Gezellige tent met erg lekkere ijskoffie. Ik had eerst een ijskoffie met framboos, die smaakte eigenlijk niet naar framboos. Daarna nam ik een ijskoffie met chocolade én slagroom. JUMMIE JUMMIE!!!! Een absolute aanrader!!!

Leuke lunch zaak, voldoende personeel. Uitgebreide lunchkaart. Zowel mogelijk binnen te zitten als op het gezellige terras. Parkeergarage op loopafstand (1 minuut) In het centrum van etten leur, dus ideale lunchplek tijdens een dagje winkelen.

Ze waren de honing mosterd saus over onze salade vergeten. Dom natuurlijk van ons om achteraf te vragen of er geen dressing over de salade moest.

Heerlijk buiten op terras gezeten. Prima ( hete) muntthee en een heerlijke brownie op!!

Wij hebben nu al een aantal keren hier de high bite genomen,en elke keer was het eten top,heerlijk, en gezellig hier,vriendelijk personeel, we gaan zeker nog vaker hier naartoe🤩🤩🤩

Prima lunchcafe om wat te gaan eten. Uitgebreide kaart met veel keuze. Dat maakt het tegelijkertijd dat het eten prima is, maar niet bijzonder. Na wat overleg bleek dat honden ook welkom waren, fijn 👍🏻

Voor de tweede keer geluncht en wederom heerlijk gegeten. Op dinsdag tussen de middag te toko zo goed als vol zegt genoeg lijkt mij. Aanrader.

Ik heb er lekker gegeten met collega's. Bediening is echt supervriendelijk en attent: letten goed op wanneer ze kunnen komen om bestelling op te nemen (we waren druk in gesprek) en wanneer de glazen leeg waren. Als je van geitenkaas houdt, raad ik die echt aan! Heeeerlijk!
