Highly recommend Madam Amsterdam! The ambiance, paired with stunning sunset views over Amsterdam, deserves a perfect score. The service was amazing—special credit to Martina, who was the best waitress and made our visit extra special!

We had a wonderful evening with great food, amazing views and a fantastic atmosphere. We especially appreciated being able to stay for the Skyline Sessions afterwards. The only small disappointment was that the birthday surprise mentioned in the correspondence unfortunately didn’t happen. Nevertheless, we had a memorable evening and would happily recommend MADAM.

A total scam – Ruined by hostile and incompetent door staff! I am beyond frustrated with this place. We bought our tickets well in advance, expecting a smooth entry, but the reality at the door was an absolute nightmare. Disastrous Pre-Paid Entry: Having a pre-paid ticket means absolutely nothing to the incompetent staff at the entrance. There was zero organization, no separate line for ticket holders, and the security staff had no clue how to manage the crowd. We were forced to wait for over an hour in total chaos just to get our barcodes scanned. Arrogant & Rude Bouncers: The attitude of the door staff is shocking. The bouncers are incredibly hostile, power-tripping, and treat paying guests like a nuisance. Even though we already paid, they made us feel completely unwelcome and were looking for any petty excuse to power-trip and delay people at the gate. Dealing with them completely ruined the mood before we even stepped inside. Not Worth the Hassle: Once inside, the disappointment only continued. The venue is completely run-down, the floors are incredibly sticky, and the drinks are massively overpriced for the terrible quality you receive. The bartenders are just as miserable and slow as the crew outside. Final Verdict: Do not waste your money buying tickets for this place in advance. The door staff is completely unprofessional and they clearly do not care about their customers once they have your money. An absolute joke of a club!

Nice bar with a great view. The drinks menu changes after 9 pm, so I couldn't order a Hugo or Aperol. They could have been a bit considerate and offered a drink if they weren't going to switch to the new menu at 9 pm. The bar tries to be a bit fancy, but the restrooms smell and look like something you'd find in a run-down train station. The cleaning staff were standing outside chatting instead of cleaning. And it was only 8:30 pm and the place was still empty.

An absolute joke – Save your time and money! If I could give zero stars, I would. Calling this place a "nightclub" is an absolute insult to nightlife. The Entrance & Bouncers: The staff at the door are the definition of incompetent and rude. They treat paying customers with zero respect, acting completely arrogant and arbitrary. You are forced to stand in a poorly managed line for ages, only to deal with power-tripping bouncers who lack even the most basic communication skills. Dealing with them completely ruins the night before it even begins. The Prices: Borderline extortion. For the entry fees and drink prices they charge, you’d expect premium quality. Instead, you get poorly mixed drinks in plastic cups that are 90% ice, along with a cloakroom fee that feels like highway robbery. The Vibe & Venue: A massive disappointment. The place was either dangerously overcrowded or completely dead. The sound system was blowing out with tinny, distorted bass, and the entire venue felt dirty and run-down. The sticky floors speak volumes about their "hygiene" standards. The Bar Staff: The bartenders clearly have no idea what customer service means. Rude, constantly annoyed, and they make a habit of intentionally ignoring you. Verdict: Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place. There are plenty of great spots in the city that actually value their guests—this tourist trap is definitely not one of them. Pure rip-off!

Magnificent view! Great service

The food was great, but service and atmosphere needs work. Just a little bit slow and dull at times. I got the feeling the staff were not enjoying the company of their customers. Views are beautiful though.

You must visit this place for server, Ms. Cemay Semmedi. A very pleasant lady who will give you a worthwhile service with unique food recommendations. She is a psychology major, establishing her life in Amsterdam. When you combine Cemay’s customer service with the picturesque location, it makes a memorable visit. We ( Australians ) were in the club for an hour & all of a sudden we were kicked out. & by kicked out I mean held by our wrists as young women. It was disgusting & uncalled for to say the least. Do not recommend as many other people were in similar situations. Shoutout Caleb & all the security. You should be ashamed.

We have a great time, enjoy a lot but we think that shoud be more options on food. But on generaly we like very much, the drink and food was great. The coca cola isn't soo great.

Thx to our waitresses Aimee and Tessa we had an incredible time. They were very friendly, helpful and fun to speak to. They gave us amazing seats, the food was good and affordable (I expected higher prices) and the ambiance was very relaxing and well suited for the location. Best wishes, the 2 CH-Defcon 1 guys

The service is terrible. Our drinks took 30 minutes and complaining twice just for them to give us old drinks. I tried to get them to make fresh drinks but the manager got the same drinks again and tried to shut us up by giving complementary finger food. Trash manager and trash employees. The atmosphere will fool you into thinking it is a good place. Would only recommend for the view.

We went to this place for a meal and left with full bellies. The burger tasted great, the meat was perfectly juicy, properly cooked and the bun went perfectly with it, but if you have to choose, I definitely recommend the Madam Truffle version more than the Classic. The homemade fries were also absolutely top, no frozen semi-finished product. The service was fast, we didn't wait long at all and the staff was very nice. The strawberry gin and tonic in the photo looked great and it was a nice drink, but the bartender went a bit overboard with the ice at the expense of the taste itself. Overall, the place has a great atmosphere and if you're looking for honest and hearty food in a nice environment, this place won't disappoint you. A solid four stars for me and I'll definitely come back here for the great food.

Highly recommended, great location. However, the DJ and bass were a bit too loud for me personally – I could barely follow the conversation at my table at times. Nevertheless, I'll definitely visit Ma'dam again on my next trip to Amsterdam.

Definitely not recommended for anyone who isn't trying to be rich! The men's restrooms look like something out of a highway rest stop. The food arrives cold and in very small portions for an extremely high price. Unfortunately, the food doesn't even taste good, and parts of the portion were missing! The view is nice, but that's about it.

Madam is worth visiting for one main reason: the incredible 360° view of Amsterdam. It really is the best view you can get in the city. The ambiance is relaxed and modern, and it’s a great place to watch the sunset with a cocktail. The food is fine, but it’s clear that most people come for the experience and the view, not for a standout meal. That said, the evening still felt special because of the atmosphere and the setting. Our server, Aimee, was wonderful — friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome. Overall, I’d highly recommend Madam if you want a memorable view and a fun experience. Go for the sunset, the drinks, and the scenery.

A magical moment! Superb restaurant with a really cool and pleasant atmosphere. A big thank you to Thomas, our server, who took excellent care of us throughout the meal, with great kindness and attentiveness. The hamburgers were homemade and absolutely delicious; you can taste the quality of the ingredients. A very good experience, I highly recommend it!

The atmosphere was perfect. The food was filling and delicious. I definitely recommend going. Don't leave Amsterdam without eating at such a beautiful place. Cemay was especially legendary. My friends and I visited Ma'Dam with a reservation on a Friday night. We had some delicious drinks and dessert. It was my friend's birthday and our server Kenai was wonderful! He was very attentive and super friendly, helped to make my friend's birthday a special and memorable night! Highly recommend coming by here, the vibes are great and friendly staff.

Tourist attraction, very expensive for the quality offered. They serve drinks directly into a glass, they don't bring back bottles like everywhere else… The view is one of the only positive points, along with the atmosphere.

This place was absolutely incredible, and I felt so lucky to have stumbled upon it. The only minor hiccup was that the party noise seemed to start a little earlier than expected. But honestly, the workers here were some of the nicest I've ever encountered. They really made the whole experience a joy. I'd definitely recommend it, despite that one little thing. Man, that place had some seriously tasty eats. It's a bit of a splurge, I'll give you that. But honestly, the whole vibe just makes it worth every penny. You've gotta check it out for yourself. We went to eat at Madam after we got engaged and Martina was so sweet. Her service was very good and she was very friendly. She really made our engagement day a little more special.

We actually had a reservation at the revolving restaurant (Moon), but my partner felt nauseous. The staff at Moon listened to us with great understanding and sent us up one floor to Madam, where Fabian was also very friendly and helpful. We got a nice table and had a wonderful evening.

With the setting sun in the background, this was the best place to have a quiet dinner. I should also mention the nice music. Great atmosphere.

Fun place. The view is amazing of Amsterdam. Our waitress at Madame, Martina was very sweet. We celebrated our 33 wedding anniversary and when she found out she went over and above to make it special.

The place is incredible! The view is magnificent! I had booked for 8 people. We had a fantastic evening with friends. Contrary to what I'd read, the waitresses were very friendly and efficient. The transformation into a nightclub around 10-11 pm is definitely worth experiencing. Dancing on the 20th floor with a stunning view of Amsterdam at night is not something you get to do every day 🤩

Lovely service, atmosphere, and experience!

Unfortunately, it was more show than substance. We found out about it through Instagram and other social media, and were unfortunately a bit misled. The view was fantastic; we got a table by the window as requested and enjoyed a beautiful sunset. We dressed up because that's what the videos and other photos suggested. In the end, it was more of a touristy scene with jeans and sneakers, and everything just didn't quite match. For the price, we had expected something completely different! The service was very friendly.

The food and service here are decent/fair, but the atmosphere was a disappointment. The seating layout of the restaurant is very strange—the tables are all located in the center on a raised platform, almost like a boxing ring. Because you are elevated in the middle of the room, the area feels crowded, and exposed. Plus, being stuck in the center means the famous Amsterdam views are obstructed by the space around you. It’s definitely not the place for a quiet or scenic meal. The better move: Make sure to reserve a table specifically in the Sky Bar. That is where you’ll find the tables right by the windows with the spectacular views you expect from the A'DAM Tower.

We had a reservation for this restaurant, yet the experience from the very beginning was extremely frustrating and upsetting. When we asked the reception staff about the elevator, we were directed to the lookout elevator, where there was a very long queue and we were told we needed to buy a ticket. Even after explaining that we had a reservation, we were made to walk around unnecessarily and sent back to reception. At reception,staff member told us they could not take us in and insisted that we should wait in line for the lookout elevator and purchase a ticket. His attitude was shockingly rude, dismissive, and condescending. When I repeated that we had a reservation, he kept saying, “Then you can use the elevator.” This treatment was extremely uncomfortable and unacceptable. Both the receptionist and the other staff member were very rude, and their behavior made us feel unwelcome and disrespected. I would not recommend this place to anyone unless they seriously improve their customer service and staff attitude.

€5 for a carafe of water is outrageous, especially since we only had one glass… The place is nice, but nothing special. The service was good, but we'll only come back for the view; otherwise, it's a rip-off.

Truly splendid views, but I would say it’s best to go for a bar / only drinks option other than for an exceptional kind of food as it’s not something you’ll find here ( therefore the prices are low imo). Sadly, I got poisoned here with a burger and had to spend a whole following day recovering. The music was also pretty loud, so ‘calm cozy dinner’ is not what you should be expecting, it’s more of a place to come for the views / maybe drink with a friend.

What a wonderful place! 😍 I loved it…what a view!!!…we ate incredibly well and our waitress was lovely…she even got a beautiful drawing from my little niece 😊…everything was perfect ❤️…and the swing right above, suspended in mid-air…wow!

Silven was our waiter and was very attentive and great waiter. Got the Smashburgers and can’t complain. A little chilly so make sure to have a jacket. The vibe and ambiance are the star of the show not the food. I enjoyed my time here and would come back to the bar

We had dinner on a Monday evening with 6 people. The food was good but not really warm. Wines are slightly more expensive than “normal”, but that is logical. Staff very friendly and professional. The view is phenomenal!

I visited Madam in Amsterdam with high expectations, but the experience didn’t match the price tag. The view is great, no question there. Cocktails were also solid — the Bloody Mary stood out. But the food was average at best. I ordered the veal cheek that was advertised as “14 hours slow cooked.” Honestly, it felt like half that effort. The texture and flavor were nothing special — definitely not what you expect from a place at this level. What really ruined the experience was the service. A waitress dropped a champagne shot onto my wife and simply walked away. No proper apology, no immediate action to fix it, not even refilling the glass. I had to chase another waiter just to get a replacement. With a €250 bill, you expect professionalism and accountability. Even a small gesture or sincere apology would have gone a long way. Instead, it felt brushed off. I wouldn’t have even bothered writing this review if the response had been genuine. But it wasn’t. To the tall waitress — I hope you learn from this. Service matters just as much as the view.
