The whole experience has been no less than exquisite the food was awesome, the view even more so! But the cherry on top was the staff here, they were all really polite, welcoming and prompt to service, but our server Martina made our day exceptional, she was sweet, kind, greeted us with such familiarity that even a visiting moment a memorable one! Also shout out to our hostess this evening, Misha, who accommodated us such warmth, even at the most chaotic hour. Whenever you guys come please look for her smile❤️

Everything was just top notch, the vibe, the music, the people. It is a must try experience not only the food was great but also our hostess, Misha was very friendly and polite, even with the chaos of rush hour she took great care of us. Also our sweet server Martina was such a sport, she did her job to the best while making sure she made everyone around her comfortable and set a very positive tone for the evening. She was really quick, kind and was just an amazing person. Please do visit, and look for these lovely people!

A perfect meal with a beautiful view over Amsterdam.

The food was good, not spectacular if that is what you want but the steak and burger we ordered was good for dinner. The view was amazing though, it is really beautiful especially during sunset. The sound can be a bit loud in the dining area so if you want to have a chill ambiance, it may be not so good. Also, people keep walking around coming from the view point so it can be a bit awkward depending on where you are sitting. Overall, it was a good experience for us.

The place is amazing! You have a panoramic view of the entire city of Amsterdam. The music, the drinks, everything is absolutely top-notch. Even the bathrooms have an incredible view. It's an ideal place if you want to go with friends for a drink. I recommend going on Fridays since it ends at three in the morning and creates a great atmosphere for dancing and enjoying yourself.

The restaurant offers a beautiful view. The food and drinks were delicious. The service was friendly and quick. Criticisms: The music was very loud at 9 pm. The restrooms were very dirty.

Great nightclub located high up in a tower, with a really nice view. The atmosphere is excellent and the music is really good. The smoking area is a bit small and the drinks are quite expensive, but that's to be expected for this type of place. I recommend it for a great night out! 🔥

The location, the view, and the atmosphere are absolutely top-notch. We celebrated our wedding anniversary here and would like to thank the staff for arranging a lovely table; that was greatly appreciated. Unfortunately, the food was a major disappointment, and we found the quality to be very mediocre. As far as we are concerned, you come here primarily for the location and ambiance, not for the food. The service was friendly, but due to our waitress's large workspace, it often took a long time for her to realize that we wanted to order something. Perhaps some extra staff in the service area would not be a luxury. All in all, a nice experience, but a one-time visit for us.

The food was very tasty, and the staff is also nice. The only thing is that they forgot to deduct the €20 from the bill and we had to pay more than we were supposed to.

We reserved a table back in June. Upon arrival, we received a super nice welcome; we were a little early, but that wasn't a problem. We had plenty of time and took our time. After about an hour, we were told that we had a time slot and were only allowed to stay for 2 hours. Next, 10 minutes before the end time, we didn't order dessert, and then at 9 o'clock we were asked to leave. We still had a bottle of wine and a bottle of water. But we were allowed to pay and leave. There’s bound to be a spot on the other side, near the disco area. No one came to help because “no, after the rope (barrier), they couldn't guarantee anything.” We were told to just bring our own glasses, etc. We told them this really wasn't okay, but according to them, we were wrong because the email stated that there was a time slot. I checked the email back, but it really wasn't there. Apparently, there were just more bookings on the night itself. So we had to leave. Eventually, we spoke to the manager; his name is Daaf and he is 20 years old. He was just defending himself and simply didn't want to listen. It's such a shame that it's such a conveyor belt restaurant, especially considering how much you pay. I've been there before on a weekday and no one mentioned time slots. And now suddenly on Friday they do. Tourists accept this, but we as locals obviously don't. Too bad :-(

We celebrated here for our wedding anniversary. We sat in the window and watched the sunset. Fantastic views and atmosphere. The food and drinks were delicious, and our waitress was so lovely and attentive. We didn’t catch her name but she was Italian. Our reservation included a trip up to the lookout level which was an added bonus.

There is a bouncer standing there enjoying his power trip. Rude and threatening, hiding behind house rules to refuse entry to people of color, while he himself is a foreigner, identifiable by his broken Dutch.. I would really look for different bouncers.

On 22/8/26, I encountered a very unprofessional doorman. The doorman made up a door policy and was inconsistent. Requests for an explanation were not handled properly, and there was even a threat to withdraw the refund. My advice: dining in the tower (via the other entrance) is fine, but avoid this place.

Martina is the best waitress ever so nice and friendly with a great smile,so helpful and her customer service is amazing.

My third time in the place. Fantastic view, fantastic atmosphere. There was a delay on the serving of the main course. However, we had an amazing service provided by Martina, the Italian waitress! We will visit again

We waited over an hour for a dish that never arrived. €20 paid in advance for nothing, and a ruined birthday. Absolutely not recommended.

One good waiter. One terrible one. She took forever to seat us. Firstly there were 3 staff at the front ignoring us when we arrived then all walked off and left us there for more than 5 minutes. Then a woman finally came over and took her 5 minutes staring at a screen to find a table for 2 on a quiet night…. Just not skilled/trained. Food ok. Roast potatoes with some weird outside. But fine. Good fries. Not value for money. But fine. Good view. But other than that it’s not worth it. It’s a one time place. Which is a disappointment because I would of loved to have made it my local…. They say first impressions matter…. It was far from great.

5 stars for the service, very nice people. However, the steak we ordered was initially not prepared as requested. The chef got into an argument with the waiter, claiming we didn't know what we were talking about. He also wanted us to pay extra for it. The nice waiter, of course, didn't do that. But the way he spoke to the waiter about the check was really not polite. Otherwise, a top-notch experience, and we celebrated our birthday there. Prices are also reasonable for what you get. And a very beautiful view. The tables were quite close together, so it was a bit cramped. Other than that, nothing to complain about.

Food is average and a lot of money for what you get unfortunately, we had high hopes of visiting here but was let down by waiting 45 mins for our order to be taken and drinks to first arrive. And then a further hour for the food to come to the table. We was still hungry after our meal so we ended up going elsewhere for food instead. Drinks are good if you’re patient to wait, food was average and very expensive for the small plates you receive. Obviously you’re paying for the location which I can understand but could be a lot better for service & value you receive. Also we made a reservation and was put on the smallest most cramped table going, overall we were looking forward to getting out of the place.

A great place to go dancing with a lovely view of all of Amsterdam!

They turned me down at the door for Madam by Night because I was wearing Ralph Lauren sweatpants and then refused to refund my ticket. Totally unhelpful and lacking empathy. I came from far away and had to travel back for two hours, and the trains weren't running at that moment, so I had to wait until 4 a.m. The two girls I had arranged to meet were allowed inside, while I had to stay outside because of Ralph Lauren pants...

Ending a day in Amsterdam at the Madam Sky Bar was a choice that gave us one of the most beautiful views of the trip. Located on the top floor of the A'DAM Tower, it offers a 360-degree view of the city that changes completely as the sun sets. Watching Amsterdam slowly light up, with the canals and rooftops stretching to the horizon, was one of the moments we will fondly remember. The setting is modern, elegant, and well-maintained, with a lively yet never overly noisy atmosphere. We appreciated the opportunity to sip a cocktail while admiring the view, taking our time to enjoy it without the rush typical of many tourist attractions. The background music also contributes to a pleasant atmosphere, especially in the evening. The cocktails are well-prepared, and the service was professional and friendly. Prices are inevitably higher than average, but are in line with the exclusive location and the type of experience offered. The only small drawback is that, at peak times, finding a table near the windows isn't always easy. Overall, it was a wonderful experience that combines a spectacular location with a refined atmosphere. If you're looking for an aperitif or after-dinner drink with a truly unique view of Amsterdam, Madam Sky Bar is a must-see.

Unfair policy – punished for showing human decency! My friend and I had a terrible experience at Madam/Shelter. We bought combination tickets (€27.50 each) and were having a good, completely sober night. Inside the club, we briefly met someone who later went outside and became unwell. Out of basic human decency and care, we walked outside with them to check if they needed help. When we tried to go back inside, the security team locked us out. They used collective punishment, assuming we were a closed group responsible for them. We contacted management afterwards, and their response was incredibly disappointing. They basically admitted we did nothing wrong but refused a refund, stating that because we "voluntarily left" to help a sick person, we forfeited our right to re-enter. Punishing paying, sober guests for showing civil courage and helping someone in need is a disgraceful policy. Avoid this place if you expect fair treatment or professional management.

I went there with my 11 years old son. We were served by Martina, who was professional and also very welcoming. We had lunch in a beautiful place where we could enjoy the view. While we were waiting for our meals, she recommended a very good starter. She was also very friendly with children.

Located on the 20th floor of the A’DAM Tower, Madam has a really nice view and a relaxed atmosphere. The floor is also shared with a small cinema about the tower, the entrance to the swing, and a VR rollercoaster, but people walking around did not create too much disturbance. The staff were friendly and polite. We started with the gamberoni, which were good but did not really stand out. For mains, the seabass fillet was very fresh and nicely cooked. The linguine was also a great choice, as our waiter mentioned the cook was Italian, and it lived up to expectations.

Magnificent location, unbeatable views, decent food, good service, and an excellent atmosphere. Plus, after dinner, you have the option of staying for a drink with good music in the bar area until 3:00 AM. Everything was great, but I have one major complaint. The venue doesn't have air conditioning, only a floor fan for the entire party room. They should fix this urgently because without climate control, it loses a lot of its appeal.

As a customer, you are ignored in the bar; no menu for anything, supposed to scan with a QR code, but the QR code was nowhere to be found. You bought your view for a bottle of prosecco that costs 8 euros at the supermarket, at a price of €57 per bottle. All in all, the view is fantastic, Otherwise, a disgrace!

It had been a very long time since I had been to Madame Tussauds. There were certainly some new things added.

The food itself isn't worth the effort... salty and bad! The chicken was raw and our guests were sick from it that night. The hamburgers were OK, but nothing more than that... the lettuce and potatoes were extremely salty... drinks are (too) expensive... and the service is mediocre, okay at best.

We had a wonderful evening with great food, amazing views and a fantastic atmosphere. We especially appreciated being able to stay for the Skyline Sessions afterwards. The only small disappointment was that the birthday surprise mentioned in the correspondence unfortunately didn’t happen. Nevertheless, we had a memorable evening and would happily recommend MADAM.

Nice bar with a great view. The drinks menu changes after 9 pm, so I couldn't order a Hugo or Aperol. They could have been a bit considerate and offered a drink if they weren't going to switch to the new menu at 9 pm. The bar tries to be a bit fancy, but the restrooms smell and look like something you'd find in a run-down train station. The cleaning staff were standing outside chatting instead of cleaning. And it was only 8:30 pm and the place was still empty.

An absolute joke – Save your time and money! If I could give zero stars, I would. Calling this place a "nightclub" is an absolute insult to nightlife. The Entrance & Bouncers: The staff at the door are the definition of incompetent and rude. They treat paying customers with zero respect, acting completely arrogant and arbitrary. You are forced to stand in a poorly managed line for ages, only to deal with power-tripping bouncers who lack even the most basic communication skills. Dealing with them completely ruins the night before it even begins. The Prices: Borderline extortion. For the entry fees and drink prices they charge, you’d expect premium quality. Instead, you get poorly mixed drinks in plastic cups that are 90% ice, along with a cloakroom fee that feels like highway robbery. The Vibe & Venue: A massive disappointment. The place was either dangerously overcrowded or completely dead. The sound system was blowing out with tinny, distorted bass, and the entire venue felt dirty and run-down. The sticky floors speak volumes about their "hygiene" standards. The Bar Staff: The bartenders clearly have no idea what customer service means. Rude, constantly annoyed, and they make a habit of intentionally ignoring you. Verdict: Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place. There are plenty of great spots in the city that actually value their guests—this tourist trap is definitely not one of them. Pure rip-off!

A total scam – Ruined by hostile and incompetent door staff! I am beyond frustrated with this place. We bought our tickets well in advance, expecting a smooth entry, but the reality at the door was an absolute nightmare. Disastrous Pre-Paid Entry: Having a pre-paid ticket means absolutely nothing to the incompetent staff at the entrance. There was zero organization, no separate line for ticket holders, and the security staff had no clue how to manage the crowd. We were forced to wait for over an hour in total chaos just to get our barcodes scanned. Arrogant & Rude Bouncers: The attitude of the door staff is shocking. The bouncers are incredibly hostile, power-tripping, and treat paying guests like a nuisance. Even though we already paid, they made us feel completely unwelcome and were looking for any petty excuse to power-trip and delay people at the gate. Dealing with them completely ruined the mood before we even stepped inside. Not Worth the Hassle: Once inside, the disappointment only continued. The venue is completely run-down, the floors are incredibly sticky, and the drinks are massively overpriced for the terrible quality you receive. The bartenders are just as miserable and slow as the crew outside. Final Verdict: Do not waste your money buying tickets for this place in advance. The door staff is completely unprofessional and they clearly do not care about their customers once they have your money. An absolute joke of a club!

We ( Australians ) were in the club for an hour & all of a sudden we were kicked out. & by kicked out I mean held by our wrists as young women. It was disgusting & uncalled for to say the least. Do not recommend as many other people were in similar situations. Shoutout Caleb & all the security. You should be ashamed.

We have a great time, enjoy a lot but we think that shoud be more options on food. But on generaly we like very much, the drink and food was great. The coca cola isn't soo great.

The service is terrible. Our drinks took 30 minutes and complaining twice just for them to give us old drinks. I tried to get them to make fresh drinks but the manager got the same drinks again and tried to shut us up by giving complementary finger food. Trash manager and trash employees. The atmosphere will fool you into thinking it is a good place. Would only recommend for the view.

We went to this place for a meal and left with full bellies. The burger tasted great, the meat was perfectly juicy, properly cooked and the bun went perfectly with it, but if you have to choose, I definitely recommend the Madam Truffle version more than the Classic. The homemade fries were also absolutely top, no frozen semi-finished product. The service was fast, we didn't wait long at all and the staff was very nice. The strawberry gin and tonic in the photo looked great and it was a nice drink, but the bartender went a bit overboard with the ice at the expense of the taste itself. Overall, the place has a great atmosphere and if you're looking for honest and hearty food in a nice environment, this place won't disappoint you. A solid four stars for me and I'll definitely come back here for the great food.

Highly recommended, great location. However, the DJ and bass were a bit too loud for me personally – I could barely follow the conversation at my table at times. Nevertheless, I'll definitely visit Ma'dam again on my next trip to Amsterdam.

Definitely not recommended for anyone who isn't trying to be rich! The men's restrooms look like something out of a highway rest stop. The food arrives cold and in very small portions for an extremely high price. Unfortunately, the food doesn't even taste good, and parts of the portion were missing! The view is nice, but that's about it.

Madam is worth visiting for one main reason: the incredible 360° view of Amsterdam. It really is the best view you can get in the city. The ambiance is relaxed and modern, and it’s a great place to watch the sunset with a cocktail. The food is fine, but it’s clear that most people come for the experience and the view, not for a standout meal. That said, the evening still felt special because of the atmosphere and the setting. Our server, Aimee, was wonderful — friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome. Overall, I’d highly recommend Madam if you want a memorable view and a fun experience. Go for the sunset, the drinks, and the scenery.

A magical moment! Superb restaurant with a really cool and pleasant atmosphere. My friends and I visited Ma'Dam with a reservation on a Friday night. We had some delicious drinks and dessert. It was my friend's birthday and our server Kenai was wonderful! He was very attentive and super friendly, helped to make my friend's birthday a special and memorable night! Highly recommend coming by here, the vibes are great and friendly staff.

Tourist attraction, very expensive for the quality offered. They serve drinks directly into a glass, they don't bring back bottles like everywhere else… The view is one of the only positive points, along with the atmosphere.
