I tried 3 other Indonesian restaurants/warung in Amsterdam and Made’s Warung was so far the best one. The price was good, the portion was good, and the food tasted authentic and was delicious. The people that worked there were also very friendly.

I like the food here so much that I almost dream about it. ;) The flavors are seasoned and balanced just right. The portions are enough for an average eater and the service is so friendly. My favorite Indo in the South.

The food was amazing with professional service. Certainly taste like authentic Balinese cuisine – coming from an Indonesian who lives in Amsterdam. The owner was super nice (we spoke Indonesian for a bit), and after a nice meal, she gave us Dadar Gulung. P.S. This treat also tastes like home! Edit: Update: Been there again, the food and service are still top! The Ayam Suwir was super delicious. My friends agreed Made's Warung is delicious!

Very good indonesian restaurant. The main dish is a bowl with Rice/Noodles + 1-2 meat + 2 vegetables + 1 egg. The staff explained the system and all the components to us and even though they have spicy food, there are enough options that aren't spicy at all.

Quality of the food is ok, higher than average. We opted for delivery and got delivered very low quantities of everything. A 2 person meal is more like a 1 person meal. While prices remain high, the quantities really need to improve.

Nice thing. The food was okay. Rendang with nasi kuning including rendang and satay ayam. All tasty, but it is a pity that they do not have a la carte dishes, so specialties that they prepare a la minute. But all in all good food here!!

Nice, quiet place, didn't realize you had to order at the counter if you sat outside. But otherwise fine. The food is really delicious and eye-catching!! Well seasoned, options for delicious spicy food and good sambal. Very nice that no MSG is used and it tastes so good! We had a wide choice of nasi, noodles, rice with coconut and deliciously marinated meats and vegetables and good sauces. Lovely young people behind the bar and normal prices too! Definitely a hidden gem if you are used to coming to the center of Amsterdam. Sit in a quiet place :)

We had delicious nasi campur. All were really good and freshly cooked. The service was great, we got to taste some klepon on the house.

I live close by and get what I want. The food looks good. The people who work there too. Last time noodles with Telor egg bean sprouts and fried banana. I ate it deliciously.

Everything was perfect and tasted very close their warungs in Indonesia and the girl who served us is amazing! The food was great! Their sambal tastes like back home, the bakwan jagung was crispy, and the spekkoek was so moist.

Made's Warung deserves this 5 star review. I come here every week. The staff are always friendly and the food delicious. I have never been disappointed here.

Food wasn’t bad for something out of a microwave, but there’s a €14.50 minimum per diner to eat in. I spent more than the minimum but was rebuffed when I asked for a glass of tap water. Their shop, their rules, but it certainly made me wish I’d gone elsewhere for Indonesian cuisine (considering it’s widely available in Amsterdam).

The food was amazing - super fresh, deliciously seasoned, very generous serving size, and lots of options! Also extremely reasonably priced for the amount and amazing quality of the food. The staff was exceptional as well and made wonderful recommendations since all the options were new to me. Liked it so much took some home to share with my travel mates! Simply amazing! The guy from the staff was really kind and helpful to explain me each single option they had and I really enjoyed everything with a fair price. I had never tried Indonesian food before and it was a really great experience. I’m definitely going back while I’m here in the neighborhood. The highlights for me were the sweet beef and the lemon chicken.

This is the right place if you want to eat authentic Indonesian food. I am Indonesian myself and I came here twice during my short visit in Amsterdam. I had Bakso and Nasi Campur - great taste. The staff is nice, prices are fair. Highly recommended!

My Dutch/Indonesian husband and I had dinner at Made's tonight and were delighted! We were fortunate to get our order in before a deluge of take out orders arrived. Even so, the young man behind the counter managed to get our order out quickly while still waiting on the rest. The food was delicious, fresh and well flavored. If we didn't live in the US we would definitely be regulars! Highly recommend!

Small Balinese family restaurant. I've been coming here several times a week for years and the quality is always very good. They make everything themselves and fresh every day. It is not very big, a number of tables inside (I think a maximum of 15 people) and in the summer also a number outside. I always eat it there, but many people also get takeaway (hot or cold to take away within a few minutes). Most people order a combination meal, two types of meat and two types of vegetables and an egg. Vegetarian is also possible. I have never had a bad meal there in all those years, very friendly prices for the quality you get, and they are also very nice, lovely people.

Attracted by the numerous positive reviews we chose to eat here to try an Indonesian restaurant. There are a few tables, at least a couple of which are large where people share places. There is no menu in English but only a blackboard where you don't understand much and you see a display case with already prepared foods from which you are asked to create a pre-established menu with a protein, two vegetables and a rice plus an egg about 15 euros each or something similar. All in all it wasn't bad but they force you to eat things you don't want but are included in the menu or dishes not freshly prepared.

Made's was recommended to us and the recommendation was well deserved. The service was friendly and personal. We got a very clear guidance on which dishes someone with shellfish allergy should avoid. Everything was tasty and tender. We had an excellent meal.

During the hard and inspiring work at CinemAsia Film Festival, we ate delicious nasi kuning with delicious dishes several times in between. The day before the important Balinese holy day Kuningan, on which most Balinese people also eat nasi kuning, we also received this delicious meal. The Asian films took us to Asia, Made's warung specifically to Indonesia.
