At the end of 2025, I was traveling from Italy to Brussels and then to Amsterdam, and I suddenly felt a craving for Asian food, so I decided to visit this restaurant. The moment I entered the restaurant, the distinctive aroma of Southeast Asia wafted through the air. To be honest, I might have felt a little queasy in Japan, but for some reason, encountering this aroma in the Netherlands after traveling around Europe made me feel very nostalgic. The staff were very polite, and I was able to order with ease, even with the Indonesian menu written in English, as they answered each question one by one. This kind of service is really appreciated when traveling abroad. This time, I ordered the set meal menu on the far left, labeled "Rames," and for a Japanese person, this one dish was more than enough. Since you can sample a little bit of various Indonesian dishes, it's perfect for first-timers. The food was well-spiced, and it was a great way to soothe my tired body after all the travel. In addition to rice, there was a wide variety of vegetables and side dishes, and I was happy to see that they served shrimp crackers (krupuk), which is a nice touch to Asian cuisine. The price was 14.5 euros, which comes to about 3,000 yen per person at an exchange rate of 1 euro = 180 yen. To be honest, this is a bit of a drawback, but considering the portion size, quality, and the fact that it was Asian food that you could safely eat while traveling, I thought it was a reasonable price. There was only one toilet, but it was clean, and toilet paper and soap were properly provided. What was even more pleasing was the cinnamon-flavored cake they served as a complimentary treat. The dessert was served on a blue plate, and at first I didn't know what it was, but it was delicious, with just the right amount of sweetness after a meal. I can safely recommend this restaurant to anyone who's craving Asian food during their European trip, and to Japanese people as well.

They have a wide variety of Indonesian food and it's delicious! It's a great place for a quick bite while traveling in Amsterdam or for a meal alone. It's always crowded even after rush hour, but it moves quickly. Takeout is also available! The owner is very friendly.

Real neighborhood gem. Toko Bersama is one of those no-frills spots that locals clearly know about. Generous portions, very fair prices, and consistently tasty Indonesian dishes. The Nasi Goreng was flavorful and comforting, and the meat dishes were excellent. It’s perfect for takeaway (limited seating), and you can easily eat well for under €12 — a rare find in Amsterdam. Worth going a little out of your way for.

The first dinner after arriving in Amsterdam was at Toko Bersama. When I explained in my poor Indonesian that I had been to Indonesia, they generously offered me dessert and hot tea. The food was also very homey, reminiscent of the taste of my time there!

A very good Indonesian restaurant with a great selection, and the Ramesh Combo is perfect for trying a little bit of everything. I recommend the Tempe Orek, Rendang, and Sayur Lodeh. The people are all incredibly friendly! It made me feel like I was back in Indonesia. I highly recommend it :)

Easy to understand why this is the highest rated Indonesian restaurant in town. The price for portion is incredible and every bite was enjoyable. Although the space is bigger than other Indonesian restaurants, the sheer popularity of the place makes it quite crowded; expect to need to take away, or have a companion with you who can save a spot if there's a table empty

As an Indonesian eating at Toko Bersama reminds me much of the food I ate back at home. They offer a ton of food selections from different regions and islands of Indonesia. The rames combination allows you to customize your order to your likings. The food tastes deep and rich in flavor. The spiciness level is what you expects from Indonesian food. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to experience original Indonesian experience.

Everything was fantastic. I'm Argentinian and a Peronist, and we had similar dictatorships. Everything was delicious! Perón would have loved it. They didn't even look at my face, the portions were generous, and the price was great.

My wife (Alana) and I arrived, and she started talking like, "Peron, Peron, you're amazing!" She told me that Nestor reopened the trials of the nefarious military officers and sent them to the stake. Oh, and the food was delicious!
