Our server (the guy with the dark brown hair) was very cold, we had to ask him to serve even though it wasnt busy he just kept standing an doing nothing and he kept getting our drinks wrong. Next to that its an israeli restaurant. They used to have tel aviv salad but changed the name

Good food. Trendy atmosphere and price. Small.

Food was great, however portions were small and overpriced. But the big NO GO is the smell and the atmosphere. The place smelled so bad of fried food that we couldn't stay long and it was getting worse with every minute. There is no ventilation system at all. When I returned home I had to immediately wash my cloths and take a shower! It was disgusting! Guys you need to invest in the ventilation, you can't just fry in the middle of "restaurant" without it. Plus the place was like a small cheap bar, with very inconvenient chars and tables, definitely not for enjoying the food. For that prices one can definitely eat in a nicer place. Although the food was nice, I am definitely not going back there.

Always a great choice for tasteful veggie and vegan food. Never disappoints but the last two times the music was so incredibly loud that we really had to talk over it. Ambiance is nice but don't overdo the jazz!

Food was tasty but too over price, very small dishes for their prices. We ordered shakshouka and came without bread, first time I see this, they even charged us 4 euros for small, dried and cold pita… I wouldn’t come back

Amazing restaurant. Came here with my girlfriend and I will certainly come here again in future. The dishes are not only very tasty, they look beautiful. As a vegetarian I did not have any problem as there are several dishes available. I recommend booking. Overall great place one of the best in Amsterdam.

One of the best gastronomic experiences I've had in the city in a year! Everything we ordered was delicious, including the surprising lemon dessert. The service was excellent. Everytime someone come to visit us, we take them to Mana Mana 😋 Congrats 🎉

As a customer of MANA MANA in De Pijp, I had an outstanding dining experience. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, perfect for a relaxed meal with friends. The menu offered a variety of fresh, flavorful Mediterranean dishes with vibrant, authentic flavors. Every dish we tried was beautifully presented and packed with taste, especially the hummus and falafel, which were some of the best I’ve ever had. Super nice place in the Pijp! A bit pricey for 2 students.

We have been coming here for a long time, but recently the portions decreased to unacceptable sizes. It feels really greedy and it's a shame. It's literally 2 bites for the dish that was a main before, and Isa price of a main. a shame.

The psychedelic cauliflower is a must!

Great food- the psychedelic cauliflower was absolutely delicious. Portions are too small though. We spent €44 and had to get a second dinner afterwards. Portion size of especially the cauliflower was more of an appetizer, I could’ve finished it in a couple of bites if I had wanted to. Would’ve been nice for that price to be either served with sides or a larger portion of the cauliflower.

Unfortunately a single disappointment 🥲 We weren't full at all and still paid quite a lot of money. It didn't taste good either. The specialty “Psycedelic Cauliflower” simply tasted like pure cauliflower and was cold too. The only bright spot: the really nice and friendly staff and the atmosphere.

Good food in a cozy atmosphere, but a bit pricey. €12 for 4 falafel balls with sauce is quite reasonable.

If you are a vegetarian and you like Middle Eastern food, this is your place to go! The dishes are exquisite and the atmosphere is quite relaxed.

10/10! Food is super unique and very good! Vegan options as well as meat and fish options. Wine was great and the staff is the cherry on top. Not just friendly but really kind and helpful. Definitely try the psychedelic califlower!!

Excellent Mediterranean food. In fact, the best I had for a long time. Grandma‘s Mafrum is perfectly balanced with a labneh that is made with the usual yoghurt and oil plus some lemon juice as a special twist. The Shakshuka is great, too, with a nice mint sauce on top. The falafels are as crispy as it gets. The kebab is legend. So, even if they take quite some money for small plates - it is well worth the money.

The food remains tasty, but 2 stars are still justified due to the disproportionate prices for the much too small portions. The price-quality ratio (I think quantity is also part of quality) is really worthless for a delivered meal. It was already too expensive, but now that prices have risen considerably again, I think it is highly recommended.

Very good falafel and delicious dips! The potatoes have a unique taste and a special consistency. The store is small, so it is recommended to have a reservation. The employees are super friendly and the atmosphere is cool. Easily accessible.

Very mixed feelings. It was recommended to us as very good to visit. Staff really leaves a lot to be desired. You wait forever (even if the place is not even half full). Food was okay, but the burnt taste of the eggplant did not appeal to me. Tasty lamb, tasty chicken.

Very tasty food here! The hummus is very creamy and well flavored. The falafels are crispy and the cauliflower was very tasty. Also very tasty shakshuka. I thought it was quite pricey, because you don't get huge portions. The falafel, for example, is only three pieces. In addition, stools without backrests are not comfortable for everyone. The staff is very friendly and the service is fast.

It was our last night in Amsterdam and we wandered into this restaurant near our place, the food and service were excellent, our best dinner of the week , head chef stopped by to chat, we were going to do dessert but no room

Such great food with really unique flavors and beautiful presentation! We had the psychedelic cauliflower, dips platter and lamb for starters. The psychedelic cauliflower was my favorite but everything was great. For mains, we ordered the lamb kebabs, smoked aubergine, sabich, and shakshuka. The aubergine was cold, which was unexpected, but still really good. The service was really slow (over 10 minutes just to get our drinks when they weren’t busy at all), but I would definitely come back for the food!

Overpriced. 21 euros for a few slices of lamb with some arugula is really bizarre. No vegetables, no potatoes, no sauce, nothing of what was promised was on that mini plate. Other dishes are also not worth much for the amount you can pay for them. Service is not very attentive. Restaurant is small and cramped.

One of my favorite restaurants in Amsterdam. The food is interesting and delicious. Not your standard food experience here. It's hard to find quality food in this town, but if you come here, you've found it.

The best Middle East food in Amsterdam, with a fusion twist. We went by recommendation via via and the redult could mot have been better. Dont miss the psychodelic cauliflower, one of the best cauliflower recipes webhave ever tried. Sea bar with prosecco sauce and smoked aubergine were also outstanding. They adapted to a gluten-free customer and requests to put sauces on the side. The service was most friendly as well. Dont leave Amsterdam without eating there

Interesting middle eastern food. Amazing presentation of food. Love both the vegetarian dish and the meat ones. Two downsides: the portion is small (we are five and we ordered six starters and five main dishes) and the seat is not the most comfortable. Almost couldn’t feel my leg in the end. But worth a try.

Deteriorated sharply. I am a regular customer, but the portions have shrunk considerably and the taste is really less. Their signature dishes literally tasted bad today. Don't miss the old fashioned nice big portions and taste. Not recommended anymore.

This is a seriously cute and delicious restaurant. Sharing is caring definitely ;-) We were 6 members of friends. We had almost all the foods on the menu and we shared them along. All of which was definitely enough food and had great variety. The restaurant is small but so lovely cute inside. It really does feel like you are in someone's cozy apartment-turned-restaurant and someone is cooking in their home kitchen.. One of dishes we ordered was so so late. My friend could get it after 1hour30min. I don’t know why the servers kept telling us it will be soon on the table. I think it would’ve been better, if they told us that we should cancel. At the end of the service, they proposed us shots of Lemon cello. It was also nice but It would be still better if they told us some more details why the food is so late and better to cancel it. Except that, everything was just so good.

I'm getting pretty tired of all these shared dining concepts. It always comes down to very small dishes being very much overpriced. What's even worse is this idea that took a hold of Amsterdam during corona and never left, that you get a time slot in which you can dine, after which you are actually kicked out. I arrived a bit early to the restaurant and our table was still occupied, so I was offered a seat at the 'bar' that was basically the Thuisbezorgd corner. The couple at our table was asked to leave 6:30 sharp. Two hours later we were asked the same when the new 'shift' arrived. The food is too expensive for this vibe; it's not some all you can eat sushi place. Besides that, food is okay-ish but drenched in tahini, making it a bit boring overall. Wouldn't recommend or go back.

Always had a good meal, but when we were there yesterday the dishes were much smaller than before. The price remains the same, but you now suddenly get mini portions. It has become very expensive.

Another over-hyped restaurant appropriating culinary traditions from the Levant to turn them into some overpriced, Westernised offering. Go to any other family-owned, traditional Lebanese/Palestinian/Syrian restaurant instead for a real taste of Middle Eastern food :)

Unacceptable service!!! When arrived the restaurant was almost empty. It took more that 30’ to bring our drinks (sparkling water and tea). Not to say that all the tables around had to bring ourselves the plates and cutlery! About the order of bring the dishes….. as a desert we had a babaghanoush, as it arrived unacceptably late. There is zero understanding about the concept of “meze” and that for example humus it’s not a main dish that should arrive alone , and after 30’ a babaghanoush again alone. The lady who was serving was just saying “I am so so sorry” constantly, moving up and down without any reason and asking silly questions like do you want anything else to drink while my glass was full. But when she asked if we need anything and I said “yes, we need plates and cutleries” they never arrived. Paying 11 Euros for sauces requires at least a descent service, otherwise make it self service and reduce the prices

I think it’s one of the best restaurants in the city, but I was very disappointed during my last visit. The food is still great and the staff also but the portions have shrinked terribly and the prices have gone up a lot. We took 2 dishes and 1 drink each, spent more than 40 euros per person and we were still hungry after. If they go back to the old formula I would go back, but for now no mana mana anymore for me 🥲

By far the best vegan food I’ve had in the Netherlands. Flavors are so balanced & the food is special yet feels homey and warm. Top service with patience & just overall such a great experience! The food looked and tasted like art.

Food 10/10 Drinks 10/10 Vibe 10/10 Food was delicious we got the three dips platter. Each dip was fresh and yummy. The pita was good too. We also ordered the cauliflower but they never brought it out to us. So not sure how that tasted. We also ordered the sea bass. It was absolutely amazing. The crispy edges were to die for. The espresso martini was outstanding. And I’ve had a plethora of EM’s in my day.

Unfortunately the portions are extremely small, with extremely high price. The dishes were not served as described Very very dissapointing experience.

We didn't plan going here but found it accidentally when we were looking for food. We came 30 min before the kitchen closed but the staff was incredibly friendly and didn't rush us. Generally the staff was great and the food was amazing! I had the mystery cocktail which was delicious (trust them) and we got the 6 vegan mezzes which all were delicious! As a vegan I would highly recommend, especially if you want to share food and want to taste good middle eastern food! Would recommend getting the babaganoush and psychedelic cauliflower!

Maar WOW wat is het een verrassend leuk en goed tentje met heeeeeerlijk eten! en geweldige wijn! we hebben met een groep vrienden zo ongeveer alle gerechten besteld en het was zonder uitzondering ALLEMAAL even heeeeerlijk! hier ga ik nog vaaaak terugkomen

Small, great service but the price is too expensive for the dishes

Delicious food, absolutely amazing. Very tasty, the smoky aubergine and the baba ganoush were super flavorsome, as were the chicken thighs and the kebabs. But it is a very very small and crowded place, not the most comfortable to sit and enjoy a conversation with friends.

The food is good but the portion have reduced by 50% which was a bit disappointing. On top, service was very slow. I hope they improve on this because I like the restaurant.

Delicious food. It was hard to narrow down our choices. It was beautifully plated too. We had hummus, labneh, the cauliflower and also not pictured the sweet potato and spinach salad. The salad was too sweet with dates and reduced pomegranate balsamic dressing. It was the only thing I didn’t like. The pita was fresh and warm and they gave us veg sticks as well. Delicious!! And the staff was so helpful with my nut allergy.

The food is okay. The restaurant is a bit dark. The platters are for sharing. They small and overpriced. I would not go again. The service is not so good. Waited a long time for a dessert that never came. The waiter also asked us to move tables because someone else wanted our table. We felt very uncomfortable about this. And do check the tab, as you get charged for things you did not order.

We walked past the door and decided to give it a go — and what a discovery! This place is a gem. We tried their signature cauliflower dish, the chicken thighs, and the mince over labneh, and I absolutely enjoyed every bite. If I had to choose, I’d say you definitely need to try the cauliflower; I’m sure it’ll surprise you! The waitress also recommended trying the Mana lemonade, and I’m glad I did because it was very tasty and refreshing, complementing all the flavors on the table. The staff was also super friendly, and the place was packed, so make sure to book a table before popping by!

The hot dishes and pitas were truly delicious. I liked the harmony of the vegetables and the quality of the service. You can order 2 items from the menu per person for a payment of 28 Euros. I think it was very satisfying. The employees were very kind.

The food is really tasty, it's a pity that you don't really sit comfortably and that after 5 minutes you are immediately informed that your table is only available until 8 p.m. and whether we didn't already want to order some food. Came across as a bit pushy.

Cena davvero ottima. Ero scettica trattandosi di cucina libanese ma devo dire che è stato tutto davvero squisito. Menù a presso fisso per 2 piatti. Porzioni abbondanti che permettono di condividere. Ottimi i cavolfiori, il merluzzo e il pollo. Locale molto piccolo ma davvero accogliente

Food here was super yummy. Definitely get the cauliflower if you go but be prepared as it is minimum 28€ each but you do get 2 dishes and it’s more of a share style. Great vibes!

La idea del lugar es pedir varios platos que podes compartir con el resto de la mesa. Se piden dos platos por persona, al ser pequeños tiene sentido ya que podrás probar varios y así también quedar con el estómago lleno! Fui con dos amigas y gastamos 50€ por persona, incluyendo dos botellas de vino y agua. Me parece una linda opción para cenar en De Pijp, la calidad de la comida es superior!!

The food is amazing, we had the best falafel and their infusion dishes are something else. This week I am staying in the De Pijp area of Amsterdam whilst here on business. I had a stroll around the neighbourhood for an indie restaurant tonight, and I found something very special. Mana Mana - De Pijp is an indie Middle Eastern restaurant, one of three small but perfectly formed locations around Amsterdam. Tonight I enjoyed a concise but filling meal for just €31.50. Nice place to have a drink, lunch or dinner in De Pijp.

There were a few people serving in this restaurant. We ordered 2 starters and 1 main dish to share for 2 of us. It was odd that they brought us only 1 starter to share (it took about 15-20 minutes to come out) and they served the 2nd starter with the main dish (another 20 minutes). (Drinks also took 15 minutes). We thought this was odd. When you make a reservation at this place, you're only allowed to be there for 1h15 minutes. So by the time we got our food/drinks and ate, we had 10 minutes left. One lady came over and told us we had to order our dessert NOW if we wanted to still eat. (I was thinking of ordering more food but didn't do that because we felt rushed). We just found it odd that if a restaurant only allows you a short amount of time to eat, usually they serve food pretty quickly and not take a chunk of your "supposed" eating time waiting for your food. Food tastes fine. A bit laid down by the whole experience. I was told the location in the West was better/bigger but probably won't be visiting here anymore. There are other places that serve equally good tasty food without rushing you out the door.

Nice tiny restaurant for Middle Eastern cuisine! They offer plates to share but the portions are pretty large - we took 3 dishes for 2 people and it was more than enough! The shakshuka, the smoked aubergine, the chicken thighs were delicious! Definitely recommended!

Everything we ate was superb! We had an amazing dinner, Small but very cosy restaurant. I definitely recommend here. The staff was also very nice. It is better to make reservation for weekend.

Gezellig eet tentje, maar niet al het eten is even lekker. Ze hebben hun best gedaan om er een hip eettentje van te maken met kromme aftandse camping bestek in een koker op tafel. De tafels zijn klein en je zit op een kruk aan een verhoogde tafel, dat houdt je niet lang vol. De muziek net iets te hard waardoor je elkaar niet goed kon verstaan. Plantje op tafel was dood, dat was erg raar dat die nog op tafel stond. We hadden drie gerechtjes besteld waarvan 2 super lekker waren, maar helaas was het bloemkool gerecht echt niet te eten, terwijl dit de specialiteit van het restaurant was. Bij het afruimen van de tafel vroeg de Engelssprekende vrouwelijke blondharig bediende of het had gesmaakt. We waren vol lof over de twee gerechten en vertelde dat het derde gerecht met bloemkool echt niet lekker was en we zelfs twijfelde dat het wel goed was en niet iets mis mee was. We hebben beide twee happen van gegeten, dus het gerecht was vrijwel in zijn geheel mee teruggegaan naar de keuken. En toch hebben ze het op de rekening gezet. Dat was teleurstellend als service. We hebben geen nagerecht of koffie besteld en zijn weggegaan.

Het restaurant heeft een gezellige sfeer, vriendelijk personeel en heerlijk eten. De menukaart biedt een goede variëteit aan gerechten en de prijzen zijn redelijk. Ik heb genoten van mijn avond en zal zeker terugkomen!

The food was excellent but having the table for only 1 hour 15 mins for DINNER ruined the experience a little (we hadn’t notice this while doing the booking). We felt kicked out in the end.
