I think the service was great and quick, they even had tables with holes to put the chips in, but I just wasnt amazed by the fries or the truffle mayo.

I have to say I dislike leaving negative reviews, and the ladies working there were really super nice, they even let me taste test the mayo! But honestly, the fries were a big disappointment. They were extremely oily, and only about half were actually crispy, the only I time getting such a large portion might not be handy. I ended up throwing away half the bag. Writing this mostly as a reminder to myself not to come back.

Great fries. Even a small portion is a bit on the large side. A small portion of fries with mayonnaise is quite expensive.

Great fries. The price is okay for the city, and there are plenty of sauces on offer.

They make delicious French fries, and even the smallest bag is quite large. The same shop also sells ice cream from a nearby window under the name Razzle. In front of the shop are tables and chairs, each with recesses for placing the bag of fries.

I tried it for the first time and found it delicious. We came from Turkey to visit family and I had the opportunity to try it in the Utrecht market. ✅ I tried it a few times and I recommend it. Especially the truffle mayonnaise one became my favorite. I wish you a good day everyone. ✌️

The fries weren't cooked through, only the small pieces. Too bad, I ate the thinner pieces and threw the rest straight in the trash.

Very unfriendly employee (August 16, 2025, 2 p.m.). I received the wrong order, after which I was told that the food would have to be thrown away because of me and that it was a waste. I looked at the employee in shock, and she then slammed the food into the trash and rolled her eyes.

Die Pommes sind o. k., aber nichts besonderes. Die Sauce war nicht unser Fall. Wir hatten die mittlere Portion gewählt und dann jeweils die Hälfte weggeworfen. Ich empfehle, nur die kleinen Tüten zu kaufen. Pommes plus Sauce sind eine recht fette Angelegenheit.

Amazing fries! Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, with the perfect balance of sauce. Quick service made the experience even better, highly recommend!

Far too salty fries. The salt sticks to your fingers in crystals when you pick up fries. 2 small fries and a cheese souflé for over 14 euros. Major disappointment.

There is a huge portion of fries even if you order the medium-size option. Just a word of advice: don't put a lot of their seasoning powder; it's too salty, and your sauce will lose its taste.

Soggy fries in a huge puddle of sauce. It's like fishing mashed potatoes out of the mayonnaise. Very disappointing, it's not that difficult to produce crispy fries. As is so often the case, here again unlovingly prepared by some hired workers.

There are 3 types of mayo on the menu, but I got fries sauce while I ordered fries with mayo. I asked and the answer was that you get mayo on your fries, unfortunately I don't like that. As a saving grace I received a bowl of mayo, hence 2 stars. More than half of the fries were thrown away, because they were drowned in the fries sauce

Questa catena di patatine fritte è buonissima. Le patatine sono morbide, cotte al punto giusto, salate al punto giusto e con una salsa a scelta. Super consigliato!

Manneken Pis really has the tastiest fries ever, with the best mayonnaise! This is the place I always go to in Utrecht when I feel like having a nice portion of fries. Always fresh, crispy and perfectly flavoured. Definitely recommended for fries lovers!

Die Pommes sind gut. Leider hat man viel zu viel Sauce drauf gegeben. Die Hälfte der Pommes konnten wir nicht mehr essen. Die Papiertüten wurden pappig und die Pommes schwammen regelrecht in dem Majo/Ketschup Gemisch. Man konnte die unappetitlichen Pommes nicht mehr essen, da man seine Hand ständig mit Sauce vollschmierte. Absolute Geldverschwendung, wenn man die Pommes mit Sauce kauft!!!!

A seagull had pooped on me on the terrace, because it is overcrowded with seagulls. They refused to give me a wet cloth, so I sat in bird droppings until Nijmegen. What downright poor service and little compassion!

As always (I've been to this chain several times in Amsterdam), I found the fries to be really tasty. They were freshly fried for us, so we had to wait a bit - but that wasn't a problem for us. Personally, I was also a fan of their standard sauce. I'm looking forward to these fries again on my next trip.

Vimos muchas críticas en línea diciendo que estas son las papas fritas más deliciosas de Holanda. Finalmente tuvimos la oportunidad de visitarlo y probarlo. De frietjes waren prima maar verder was het veel te duur voor wat je kreeg. €1,25 voor een klein beetje kaassaus die niet te eten was. Vermijd de kaassaus we hebben de frietjes weggegooid omdat de saus zo absurd vies was.

I was terribly annoyed today by the lady behind the counter. Disinterested and ignoring, you put your bowl of fries on the counter. She was talking to her colleague about her personal problems; is not customer friendly. By the way, the fries were tasty!

This was recommended by my partner and apparently has established here for a few decades, with a facelift a couple years ago. They specialise in thick-cut potato fries with a range of sauces available, and on this occasion I had the vegan mayo. Comparing it to the regular mayonnaise that my partner had, rather than flavours being lost, I found the regular version richer, and the vegan version layered in character. The deep fried chips were done just right, and not overly oily. Portion-wise, medium is probably more than enough for 2 to share if you're still to have a meal elsewhere later. Service wasn't the most efficient of its kind, but it was done by people who know what they're doing.

It’s taste good!! The sauce is also perfect. But the words on menu is a little bit too small. It’s so hard to read. There are several tables you can seat and eat, but there are too many pigeons…. You need to be aware of them while eating.

Very good french fries, served the traditional Belgian way. Very crispy outside with a warm and soft inside. A really good price as well, a big portion. I had my fries with mayonnaise which tasted amazing, strongly recommended.

Fritten waren lecker, Mayo sehr teuer (1,20 € !!!) Kleines Portion Pommes (3,75 €) mit Mayo 4,95 €. Für das gleiche in Osnabrück gestern 3,50 € bezahlt.

Vriendelijk personeel snel en goed geholpen. Veel keuzen aan sausen. Alleen viel de friet niet zo goed. Wellicht lag het aan het vet.

The fries is passable, texture is very slightly better than the one in Amsterdam (Vlaams Friteshuis Vleminckx), the Oorlog sauce is definitely not as good. Service wise, while the staff understands English, he/she will never call out your order in English although they fully know that you do not speak Dutch. They certainly know it's our order though. Eat here if you are craving for some fries urgently.

The fries are crunchy and well-cooked. Portions are a bit more expensive than average but they are also very big, so it evens out in the end. Ordering is a bit of an ordeal, definitely gets chaotic when there's a bit of a queue.

Geweldige lekkere friet. Daar is het ook mee gezegd. Rest neem je maar op de koop toe.....

Heerlijke patat en wat een grote porties!

Lekkere Vlaamse friet, vooral samen met de truffel mayonaise. Een normale punt zal is al aardig veel. Personeel was erg vriendelijk. Alleen de prijs is wel aan de hoge kant.

Patatkwalieit gaat echt achteruit, er wordt fanatiek omgegaan met de zout dosering en de kleinste maat is Amerikaans. Best groot dus. Halve zak weggegooid omdat het te veel was. Erg jammer.

Lekker French fries in Utrecht! They have a few shops around the area. It's delicious indeed. Nice tables set up to hold your fries too. Kids love it. No complaints really except I wish they had a smaller - small size. The Klein (small) is too big! Lol. The only brand choice when in Utrecht. If this location is too busy, go around the corner to the others.
