Mazzeltof in Oude Pijp

Similar to some of the experiences others have shared, we encountered xenophobia. A local approached us unprovoked and told us that we are ‘turds,’ that we are on a much lower level than he is, and that Amsterdam is ‘his city.’ It made us feel very unwelcome, and we decided to leave afterward.

Never felt so welcome as by Mazzeltof! The crew, the drinks, the hospitality are amazing! I found my new fav spot in Amsterdam🖤

I would thank the whole bar squad of Mazzeltof and especially the owner for their excellent service and quality of drinks. The place to be in the Pijp for an unforgettable bar experience!

Cool, but not really that cool. A night bar that closes at 3am is mediocre, and also 4.50 for a beer is absurd ?????? Good music iguess

Awful place. The bouncer manhandled my female friend for breaking up a fight. Ridiculous behaviour and clearly has no idea how to be a serious security officer. I would like to take this matter further.

Coziest cafe in Amsterdam and open until late. Nice bartenders and always a nice atmosphere.

Mazzeltof is the place to be if you want to surround yourself with atmosphere, conviviality and are looking for tasty drinks and good service during the late hours of Amsterdam. The people who come there to have a nice drink. They bring the atmosphere and the people who work there. They guarantee this conviviality through their friendly and hospitable service. The prices of their drinks are in line with market prices so don't be afraid of getting ripped off. I like to come there from time to time and so far I have always experienced a pleasant atmosphere and a warm welcome. Thank you for that Mazzeltof.

One of the worst bars, guaranteed to wake up with a headache, and just an all around waste of time. Can’t wait for the next time..

Top tent And when people complain about security, Do they have something to think about themselves? Those toppers are there for the multicultural, fun people who do NOT spoil the atmosphere

Super nice cafe, highly recommended. After 2 hours, a super cozy atmosphere, nice and busy. And very friendly people behind the bar, especially Emre the boss. He makes the cocktails a little too well.

quite funny that i saw some bad reviews about this cafe but that gave me the reason to sneak a look. from the moment I walked in they welcomed me very nicely and I felt seen in such a busy cafe. the atmosphere is also very nice and the lovely woman who works here takes her time to give you options on the drinks. so i give it a 9 out of 10. it was worth a try and i will definitely come back for more drinks.

An institution for a reason. Cheap drinks and a fun place to be when you’re in de pijp and don’t know what to do with yourself. Very dead before 11-12, but that’s to be expected

Love this place! This has such a nice and cozy atmosphere, a really lovely owner, and cheap drinks. It's a local place, so if you really wanna know how Amsterdam truly is, definitely go here for a beer!

This is a locals bar. This is not a place for tourists. Which is Awesome! The people you cross paths with here probably live in the neighborhood. If you don't speak any Dutch go someplace else. Because you will have problems ordering. We will for sure be back. There is music but not so loud you can't have a conversation. I like this place!!!!
