Delicious McDonald's extra tasty, this one from Meppel is always nice and warm and you get a little more sauce than with other macs.

It was very busy, but the staff were still enthusiastic and friendly, and we didn't have to wait long. The food was also fine.

The cleanest and tidiest McDonald's in the Netherlands, I think.

The food is good, but the staff could be a bit nicer. A friend of mine said he knew a staff member and he became aggressive.

We ate two chicken burger menus. The burgers were tasty, but the fries were too soggy and not hot enough. However, the service was very fast. The toilets were not very clean.

Mc Meppel has friendly staff and a nice atmosphere, but unfortunately, it is scandalously filthy here. All the tables are dirty, even though there are at most 10 guests. Not very good at the moment.

Going to a McDonald's again for the first time in 15 years. It was my first time at the drive-thru, and they patiently explained the ins and outs to me.

I advise you to always check your order. My orders have often been incomplete or incorrect. Most of the employees are young people or teenagers who don't know their jobs. The food they serve is also always different from what is shown in the photos. If I lived near a Burger King, I would never go to McDonald's.

I just bought a McFlurry but it's only filled to less than half full.

Fine McDonald's right along the highway. Price-quality ratio comparable to other McDonald's. Restroom, tables, and floor quite clean. So, fine.

You're only not allowed to smoke on the terrace, they get angry.

A very bad experience. We were waiting for our food at the McDonald's drive-thru. This took quite a while, which of course can happen. Then we received our food, but it was completely the wrong order. So we went inside to report this. We were helped immediately, and our own order was prepared. They apologized politely, and then we left. The food itself was no longer warm, and the fries were soggy.

May 26, 2026 ordered a large portion of fries with a croquette sandwich for the first time in a long time fries were raw, undercooked, not very hot .. croquette sandwich not warm at all everything expensive, super poor quality is my experience at this McDonald's milkshake good and tasty

The food was as expected from a McDonald's, and the service was good. It was delivered to the table, and there was a separate person who came by with an extra disinfectant wipe to clean you up. The food was just not complete, as the drinks were not fully filled, but it was topped up upon inquiry.

The best McDonald's I've been to in a long time. Everything was spotlessly clean, the food tasted great, and the atmosphere was very modern and comfortable.

Ordered 2x McFlurry Maltesers. The amount of ice cream in the cup is smaller than that of a kid's soft serve from a snack bar; in fact, even if you include the sauce and the non-Maltesers (seriously, what are those things?) in the volume. And that for the ridiculous price of over €4 each. This is the last time I will ever voluntarily get anything from McDonald's.

That ballistic place doesn't even want to provide a driver with food because his truck can't go through the McDrive.

I'm done with it now. If you want your food nice and hot, don't go here. I'll be driving to Zwolle or Steenwijk from now on. They make mistake after mistake, and not even one order has been correct. It's making me despondent. And then the food is lukewarm and cold. Bad McDonald's, very bad!!!

Atmosphereless and obscure location in the evening

Forgetting the sauce twice in a week is quite an achievement. Calling doesn't get you a response either. We just faced those funny guys walking through the drive-thru. Maybe that's why you weren't so sharp. I'll pick up the sauce for free next time.

Had breakfast. Never again. Expensive food, extremely small portions. Gone are the days when I would go to a McDonalds for a breakfast while travelling. Good friendly service, although the ordering system was a little unclear.

It's getting way too expensive, and the taste remains awful. I hope people will finally realize this. A little further along the train tracks, there's a great cafeteria, much cheaper and tastes much better. #jurresnackbar

If you like McDonald's, you'll probably be fine eating there. Unfortunately, I had to go with a group, and I'm not a fan of that kind of food in a very crowded environment. Lots of schoolchildren. I had an ice cream and plain fries. The ice cream was good.

My girlfriend and I stopped here on our way to a family weekend. I hardly ever leave a review, but I'm making an exception for this McDonald's. Super fast, great service, and nicely decorated (for Halloween). Best McDonald's experience so far.

Last Sunday, I went to Meppel for the first time with the kids. What a disaster! I had to return our food twice because the order was wrong and the food was cold. The staff wasn't friendly and almost laughed at you. I wouldn't recommend going here! Next time, I'll go back to our "own" branch.

Pressed quickly and got everything at once with the Mac drive-thru. That doesn't happen often. Everything's fine again this time. Cozy restaurant. Separate walls. However, I do find the 90-degree benches a NO-GO because of your back.

Had lunch here. Ordered at the counter. I had a large Big Mac. My wife had a Crispy Mc Korean and a soft serve ice cream cone. The service was quick and friendly. Everything tasted great. It looked neat, and the restrooms were clean. You can also sit on the patio. The prices are reasonable.

The hamburgers (McTasty and Big Mac) were good. The rest was disappointing. They forgot my son's hamburger. We got it right away after asking. And the fries for the four of us were soggy and cold. That was a shame.

I got the wrong milkshake; I ordered banana and got peach. It happens, of course. I reported it and got a new one right away, which was great. But then, while handing me the new milkshake, they said, "That was just a banana milkshake, but here's a new one." Yet, the new one tasted like banana and the old one like peach. That comment wasn't necessary. I tasted it, and the employee only stirred it to determine which flavor it was.

It's a bit of a shame if you save up points and then turn them in because you're short on cash and half your order is missing. Even without redeeming points, I'll tell you to always double-check. It's like they do it on purpose; they make easy money that way! It might be wise for someone to check if people get what they pay for; I don't think that should be the customer's responsibility. It's a shame. I've never written a review before, but I've noticed this happens a lot here. They basically know they can get away with it, unless someone drives back and eats the rest of their food cold.

Mac Meppel the food is good but they have it at the cash register with their ears it is disorganized look carefully at what you order half is not brought but they take your number from your table too quickly also hamburger from mc chikken menu but still my tongue burned

My uncle ordered a Mc Chicken menu without spices, but the burger was still Spicy and he burned his tongue on the spices. The lights in the toilet did not work properly. The table far behind us in the corner was not cleaned, while staff was walking around regularly. You also did not get half of your order and your plate with the number was taken from the table. The Happy Meal was otherwise okay.

My mcflurry was half full, I reported it and they refuse to refill.

Often order a macflurry and find for what you pay you really get way too little. Often half the cup with a little sauce and topping. You really get too little for what you pay.

Like many others, this McDonald's also has a dirty look. Tables are not cleaned. Won't be coming back soon. You also pay a lot for mediocre quality.

One of the best McDonalds in the Netherlands. The atmosphere is wonderful. The service is perfect. You have to order at a service board, just like at any other, what is good here is that there is always a board available and the boards work fine, not that you have to click very often, because the touchscreen is broken.

It's so cool that they have shaker fries and ice cream cones there. Those were legendary back home. And everything else is awesome, too. The prices are pretty reasonable, too.

The food is what you would expect from McDonalds. The same goes for the atmosphere. There is still something to be said about the service. We ordered at the McDrive column and after ordering a full meal, the employee decided to send the order through without asking if we needed more. At the order window, we could add the rest, but we still missed 2 bags of sweet and sour sauce. It can happen, but you would expect such employees to always ask "was that it?" before sending the order through.

Fries are supposed to be crispy. Unfortunately they were soggy. We've had better here.

Hello, today, May 8, 2025, my friend and I were disappointed by the service because they started collecting all the chairs at 11:00 p.m. ... and they turned off the lights at 11:10 p.m. and the girl who was doing it was staring at us so we could leave. However, they should close at 1:00 at night, it puts it in the schedule. Also, if they were going to close, they could notify us in a polite way by notifying us in advance, but the ways they did are not good for business, obviously we are not going to return due to the uneducational service they have offered us.
