The play area isn't very interesting for children; they quickly got bored of it. There is an outdoor patio, but every time we've been there, it seems closed or inaccessible—a waste of space. Please make it a proper extra seating area. 🍟 Order: Big Church Hamburger menu The main issue: I ordered the Big Church Hamburger menu (the most expensive/largest menu). • Problem: extremely few fries—the bag was half empty. • I went back to the counter, explained it politely, and received new fries… half empty again. • See the photos. It's embarrassing… When you pay almost €20 for a menu (large Coke + large fries), you expect consistent portions. Even after reporting the issue, receiving a half-full bag again feels really unfriendly to the customer. Something needs to be done about this. ✅ What can be improved The staff remained polite and visibly worked hard during the busy period. I appreciate that. But portion control and seating capacity should be a priority. 💡 My tip for McDonald's Heerenveen 1. Open up the terrace and use it as additional seating. 2. Update the play area so children actually want to play there. 3. Check portions when ordering (especially with the more expensive menu items). Did you find this information useful? Excellent entertainment. While eating, you could safely watch through a window as people were transported into cars.

I went through the drive-thru, so I can't say much about the atmosphere. They were friendly and the food was nice and hot, so that's already great.

Went through the McDrive for the Big Arch. Very tasty, the fries were good too. Fast service, parking lot wasn't very inviting.

The entrance was hard to find. The food wasn't warm, and unfortunately, the sauces were still in bags, not containers. I also didn't receive a deposit cup, which I had paid for.

No more veggie nuggets. Shame on McDonald's!! The staff was really nice, though. I'll go to Burger King from now on, where all the burgers and other things are veggie.

Great McDonald's. The recipe is like any other. The food was delivered quickly to the table after specifying a table number when ordering. The floor looked clean, which we've seen before.

What a mess around the McDonald's. It's sad to see people getting "food" there, which is one thing, but then they also dump the leftovers all over the place. Should McDonald's take some social responsibility if it offers drive-by "service"?

The MC Drive in particular is very disappointing, 9 times out of 10 they don't have everything in order and you have to park around the corner

Waited over fifteen minutes for three cappuccinos; there were only two other people in the restaurant, and there were a lot of staff milling around. The women's restroom was broken, and the key to the accessible one was missing. So, I went to the men's restroom, which had a pungent urine odor and many disgusting feces and urine stains. There was no toilet paper. There was also no soap. What a horrible place!

I've never had a worse frappé for almost €5. Crushed ice, cream, and a bit of sauce. Disgusting.

I ordered a MacFlury, and it was only about half full, while you normally get a lot of flour. Not good for the €3.95. Then my friend ordered a MacFlury that had a lot more in it, so I was done with it and spoke to the manager, who tried to get out of it with a lame excuse, but it didn't work, which is why I'm writing this bad review.

We only parked here, the lot is humongous so there's always space.

I don't get angry easily, but this really takes the cake. I went to the location in Heerenveen. However, when I got home, I discovered it was the wrong order. And that wasn't the worst of it; it turned out they'd already eaten it, how disgusting it was. I'm really pissed off.

It was very busy, but ten minutes after ordering, the food was already there. The staff was friendly and quick, so I'm in for a treat. Really great Mac Hereveen.

Many kids and football fans, not exactly a 'family' place. Despite a couple mistakes with the servings the food was very good. Cleanliness okay. Definitely space to improve.

Only reviewed regarding ice cream: I tried twice this week to please someone—myself included—with ice cream. None of the different variations were appealing. It's not what it used to be, according to the ice cream eaters. We'll look elsewhere next time.

I only got 8 chicken nuggets in my order of a chicken 9 + 1… learn to read man, it says + 1 not - 1.

Often in the mornings, there are far too few staff, resulting in long wait times. (For the fifth time today) 9 minutes between ordering and receiving.

The food was good, the wait times were short, there were plenty of seats and finally a McDonalds that had a milkshake again.

Orders are often wrong. And when you're hungry, that doesn't help 🙈😅 There are also often those annoying girls. I see that happening too often around me, and it's a shame.

Update: Now back to small fries with every large value menu, no sauces with any menu we ordered. But luckily we did pay for them. So, always check your order before leaving the building. I got home with the order, forgot to check at the counter, and I'm missing a single hamburger again. Such a shame...

One self-checkout doesn't allow you to complete the transaction, otherwise everything is fine

For a quick bite, what you'd expect from McDonald's: fast, warm, and friendly. The restrooms were clean, and I didn't arrive at a busy time, so the tables were well-maintained. I sat outside on the patio, where someone was busy, and they were also friendly when we asked for something. I'm not a huge McDonald's fan myself, but if you do go, you do want a good experience.

They use a light system here. You drive through the McDrive, then park your car and get out to pick up your order yourself when light 1, 2, or 3 comes on. I thought it was terrible.

Customer is king, not at this branch! Lady in a blue suit even thought that she was better than her fellow colleague due to experience (yes, everyone you work with is a fellow girl, learned something new 😉) Red fruit soda is suddenly not a soda, strange, my mc menu and regular menu clearly state that it is a soft drink.. and not pure because there is no carbon dioxide in it. Acting arrogant and not letting the customer finish sentences, very rude, asked her for her name, she didn't want to give it, neither did my fellow colleague in blue. Because before we received our order, she had already been nagging other colleagues about me because she didn't get her way. So here's an official complaint on the way. Well maccie, this is good for your company, chapeau 👌

I found this Mac different than average, a little less cozy. It wasn't particularly busy, but it still seemed quite full. Maybe because of the layout? I also found the hamburger to be a little less tasty than at other locations. The service was variable, from friendly and helpful to uninterested. Too bad, but there is room for improvement. Do your best together!

2 weeks ago I wanted to use the McDonalds app to redeem points for a burger, redeemed points, the app indicated that the restaurant in question was closed and that while I was actually inside ordering.... Lost points and no burger.... Not the fault of the restaurant itself of course but a real shame about my points..

The fries were only half full and you waited forever for the food. Definitely not fast food. You have to pay an extra €0.85 for the mayonnaise, which is just not acceptable!!!!!

This shop has never heard of a bit of respect, the staff is addressed in front of guests, everyone looks so angry there totally disrespectful. If people are thinking about applying think about it carefully these people are not nice and make you look like a fool in front of guests……..

McDonald's remains, were there with a group. Had to wait a long time for coffee, ladies toilets were filthy and no more toilet paper available.

Too busy at the MC drive... So we drank and ate inside. Plenty of seats and still fast service despite the queue of motorists waiting outside...😜🥳☀️🙏🏼🍀

had breakfast at 95decibel drilling. Strange, in the presence of clients.

Firstly, we had to wait about 25 minutes for our breakfast (we, along with another man and woman, were the only guests at that time). When I finally went to get it, both of our coffees turned out to be cold. We got new ones for that. So far, so (sort of) good... When we wanted an ice cream after breakfast, we decided to go through the McDrive. We ordered 2 ice cream cones and a white chocolate cookie. This was neatly paid for, but at the 'collection window' it turned out that the cookies were no longer there... The girl at the counter asked if I wanted something else or my money back. I chose the 'money back' option. A moment later the manager arrived. She asked 'Can I help you?'. I said 'apparently we're out of cookies so I'd like my money back'. She then said, 'The cookies are there, but they haven't thawed yet. Would you like to eat it straight away, or would you like to take it frozen?'. I thought she was joking, but I could tell from her irritated tone that she was very serious. I said 'No, I just want my money back. You don't ask people if they want their hamburger frozen, do you?' Then the manager (at least I assume so, since she was the only one with a white shirt) got angry, threw my money in the car and closed the 'takeaway window' with a bang. What a rude and indecent figure that was! I hope McDonalds takes action on this, because this was truly a scandalous display!

My girlfriend should get a free McFlurry for her birthday, but due to a bad app (2.3 stars on Google Playstor) the barcode could not load and instead of the woman with dark blue mac clothing being helpful, no help was available and it was due to the app that is theirs, while other locations than them arrange it via their own screen. And then the one we paid for ourselves afterwards, a bit of mixing is impossible here nowadays, while it works much better in other locations. It's a shame that this location is in such decline. I used to come here before

Recently, some foreign girl drove by from work and had to explain to us how pick-up worked?!?!? Something with 3 lights on the wall?!?! The food was already cold...

Cleaning sanitary facilities is not taken seriously. Signed off without doing anything. Happened when I was there. List has no date so how old is it. Soap is gone, little effort to check this.

I hardly ever go to McDonald's so it's been a long time since I've been there. I think it has become very expensive for the price/quality ratio and tasteless. It will probably take a long time for another visit.

We perform, very hungry afterwards. We stand there, with a large car that cannot fit through McDrive and we are really hungry. But really a lot. Only chatted along the way about how hungry we were. I wanted McKroket and my friend wanted to eat too, and was really thirsty. You know, fancy a Coke. The restaurant is closed, already at 11:45 PM, and Google said 1:00 AM. NOW!! So we are still contemplating whether we should go through the McDrive after all, BUT YES, the car is way too big so that doesn't fit. And a lot of other people who were really hungry. So they went to get food, but we didn't. So then I went to write this review. It's very foggy. We hardly see anything and we are still very hungry. Really sad for us. It was nice in the bicycle shed. Came across someone I knew, so 5 stars for the atmosphere.

Food very tasty as with any Macdonalds. The service was not normally bad, we were missing things with our order so I walked to the counter. The first girl who said "I can't help you, I'm clocked out" and the next person just squeezed something in my hand which wasn't good and immediately turned away. If you are looking for friendly service, this is not recommended.

Ladies toilet is dirty. Toilet paper holder is broken. Since December!!!!!

My son was very sick from the shrimp. There is one big gang in the parking lot and the staff is unfriendly and often they don't even speak Dutch. Often wrong order or it is cold. We continue to Joure!

Located in a smart location with more than enough parking space! 2 entrances, 1 for restaurant and 1 for the terrace. Absolutely excellent quality because hey. McDonald's.. Place a guard near the mcdrive on the narrow side. Wide cars do not fit comfortably in the compartment.

Firstly, I waited 45 minutes for my order. Received something completely different than ordered. This with 30 staff tripping over each other's feet. Crispy chicken menu, 3 tenders with chili sauce. What do I get? Maestro burger, 2 tenders with sweet and sour sauce. After complaining all I got was sorry sir sorry sir. This from a grumpy fishwife. Don't come here again!!

Last night I went to order 5 hamburgers, 2 of these I wanted without ketchup because one person is allergic... I noticed a bit of confusion yesterday... when I got home one hamburger was missing and two that were supposed to be without ketchup had ketchup. I don't live near the Mc and I'm not the person who has time to give negative reviews but this time I wasn't served well and you can't always let these inconveniences go away... we all make mistakes, but you who have all that staff should be more careful!

You almost always get too little fries sauce. You do pay for it.

Very great experience but some seats are inaccessible since they need maintenance which is clear by the black yellow tape that's blocking off the broken parts, although this might be already repaired, but the service is great and the delivery comes at a time that's acceptable if there's not alot of orders going on, and the food was great but they gave me some extra when i ordered which is normal.
