McDonald's in Schiphol

Another McDonald’s cheating the system. Marking the orders as collected before they’re even made. Pisses me off, just get better at delivering instead of cheating.

Even when ordering a menu, you have to pay EXTRA for any drink that's not a soda (and they only have sparkling options...). That means the menu comes down to paying 5€ just for macdonalds fries. I cancelled my order and went somewhere else.

I had such a great experience thanks to Mattina. She was incredibly kind, friendly and welcoming from the moment I ordered. It’s rare to come across someone who has such a positive attitude, and she really made my day. I hope she gets the recognition that she deserves! :)

Efficient service, everything is done through the machines. The problem is they charge you for everything, haha.

Food is fine as is always the case with McDonalds but the staff were very bad at emptying the bins and cleaning the tables. There was a pile of dirty trays next to the bin and people were running all over the place

The newly released roll had too much sauce inside. The chicken nuggets were good, but the fries were cold (just average). Surprisingly, they didn't sell corn chowder.

I ordered a coffee at 12:26 p.m. and waited patiently at the counter while people were placing and collecting their orders. However, at 12:36 p.m., my coffee was still not delivered. Despite my repeated attempts to explain the situation to the counter employees, they simply told me to wait. After a third attempt, they finally realized that the coffee had been sitting there for quite some time, and it even became cold. Unfortunately, they did not offer any solution or apology for the poor service.

Only 2 of the many self service checkouts working (queue) and don't do breakfast.

This particular McDonald’s staff are always kind when I have visited the airport. This young gentleman named Jordi (like yodri) I know I’m butchering her name but he was very kind he came up and offered my daughter to teach her how to make ice cream. She went behind the counter got to hold the cup and push the ice cream machine down. She really enjoyed herself. That was very kind of them to take time to care for their customers. Thank you for that experience.

Close to double normal price. Food was warm, not quite hot. Staff were cold.

This branch is a rip-off. We ordered two QP medium menus with two fries sauces and water for a drink. We paid €39.10 for this. The management stated that water is an additional €7.80 for the two bottles. When I asked if they could give us Fanta, they said no because they can't give refunds, which is nonsense because you can also refund with an ATM. They also stated that water is extremely expensive everywhere at Schiphol. This is also a lie, because further down the road, water costs €3. This is pure rip-off. They wonder if McDonald's would buy water at a higher price. Now you're paying double the price for these two menus than it costs anywhere else in the Netherlands. They're exploiting the fact that many people eat in a hurry and fly. A bunch of crooks.

Good food what more can you ask for. It can be busy at times but there is plenty of self service machines to order from and although busy the staff still are kinda d friendly Always a nice pit stop when I am just needing a grab and go.

We had a drink here but when we sat down the furniture and the were very dirty.

Very fast despite the long queues, there are many tables, prices are pretty okay for an airport. Recommended!

Probably the worst burger ever. Can't believe they sell this, regarding so many competition today. This is not meat, it's tiny, badly done, no taste at all. Looks like nothing they advertise (it was big mac). Terrible product, terrible company.

I was here recently and had the veggie burger during my layover. It took them 30mins to give me a burger, and then they lost it as someone picked it up. (Why would you not check who you are giving what burger) . Even after being fully staffed they don’t have a designated people who could give out the orders. The person inside then bumped into one of the employee and they dropped all the Patties on the floor. I was surprised to see how un organised they are for being a fast food restaurants. Lastly 12€ for a damn burger (not even the combo) and it tasted so bland, full of lettuce, no sauce and no taste at all. Pls don’t eat at McDonald’s, you can go to a better place at schipol and spend your money wisely as they serve slowly and bad tasting food.

No Gluten free buns - always “sold out”

I ordered a salad with chicken, and when the display showed it was ready for pickup, it wasn't. Here, as with almost all McDonald's locations, it's all about customer satisfaction. When I complained, I received an unfriendly response. The salad was open, but the chicken was missing, so I complained. I then tasted the salad; it didn't look very fresh anymore, and then I checked the date: it had been marked as expired for over three hours and had been in the box for eleven hours. Only after contacting the manager was it replaced. The service was a disaster!

Think the food is ok. The positioning of the ordering screen is poor and can be crowded some times. Waiting time is usually OK. The seating are usually has enough space, there are wall plugs available for some seats. My only complaint, expect high prices.

Avoid at all costs. I ordered the Liverpool breakfast which includes a fruit juice and a coffee. Their ordering machine is over-complicated and repetitive with its options, I ended up ordering an exrra fruit juice I didn't need. When I got the tray at the counter, I asked about the included coffee and the youngster pointed at the coffee cup on the tray. Ok. When I got to the table and wanted to drink the coffee, my wife pointed out that it was hers, she ordered and paid for it as part of her meal. I then examined the bill and saw that I'd been charged for an extra fruit juice, took it back to the counter and pointed out I was supposed to get a free coffee with my meal. Spoke to a large Russian man who suddenly forgot how to speak English and just walked away from me. Spoke to a rude lady, she refused to look at the advertising board where it quite clearly showed a coffee included with the meal. She took back the juice I'd paid for and gave me my "included" coffee, refused to give me a refund on the juice or return it to me. Rude, dishonest people.

It is busy but you get helped fairly quickly.

If you want to go to a McDonald's right before a flight, don't go here!! The food is outrageously expensive (€4.95 for a cheeseburger?!) compared to a regular McDonald's in the Netherlands. Then the order goes wrong twice, you get very few fries and only 8 nuggets instead of the 9 you ordered.

Not the best McDonald’s, but also not the worst as far as airports go.

I quickly picked-up lunch from here before a flight. Despite long lines, I was able to order at the kiosk relatively quickly. The order was prepared and ready impressively fast when considering the number of people ordering. The food tasted good, and standard for McDonald’s. The restaurant is in a convenient spot in the terminal. There is both seating at the restaurant and seating just down the escalator in the terminal, which I preferred since there were good views for planespotting!

McDonald's at Schiphol is downright ridiculously expensive! Everything is expensive at Schiphol, that is common knowledge. But charging €60 for 4 burgers, two drinks, and fries is really not normal!

⭐️⭐️☆☆☆☆ The food itself was actually good — fresh, hot, and exactly what you’d expect from McDonald’s. No complaints there at all. But unfortunately, the customer service was absolutely terrible. The staff seemed irritated and unhelpful, and the whole interaction felt rushed and unfriendly. For such a busy international airport location, you’d expect a bit more courtesy and organization. Instead, it felt like they just wanted to get rid of customers as quickly as possible. Definitely disappointing and not the standard you’d hope for from McDonald’s. Good food — but the service really ruined the experience.

Standard food and good service. My breakfast took about 10 minutes to be prepared. Not too fast but not for you if you are in a rush. Plenty of space to seat. It is pricy but considering that is an airport is OK.

Upon arrival at Jet2 Airport, we decided to eat something at McDonald's. Unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. The place looked messy and unclean. My Sprite even had lumps of something nasty in it, so I immediately left it. The food didn't taste fresh either. For a location that sees so many travelers daily, you'd expect better hygiene and quality. This was one of the least pleasant McDonald's experiences I've ever had.

€21 for a McNugget meal and a coke. What is going on here? €1 for some mayo. Contemptible staff. Don’t do a McKroket. Soggy nugs. Charged a plastic tax surcharge despite not having any plastic in our items.

Cold fries - half portion. They just don’t care. Check your food before checking in. There’s no way back

They bought the franchise. But the coffee is made disgustingly and they don't seem to know what size it is around the world. The service is terrible, you have to find sugar, cream, garbage for all this yourself. They didn't think it through at all. Your number is shown on the order selection board, but that doesn't mean it's ready. You go to pick it up, but the order is gone.

Beware of the cost trap! If you change the drink menu from soft drinks to water, you have to pay for the drink and it's no longer included. A disgrace, given the exorbitant airport prices.

After we ordered, we thought that our order was wrong but it was missing something . We went up to the counter, I explained clearly what was missing. The two girls went silent, without saying a word they looked at each other without doing anything. I repeated myself, they looked visibly annoyed. They finally told me that it was missing something indeed. They told me to wait, the lady was visibly lost. Come on!!!! The McDonalds was empty, no effort, the food was so bad.

Very bad experience. Slow service. Unfriendly staff. I ordered a chicken salad and only received the tray with the chicken. When I finally got the salad, it wasn't fresh. Run away!

food like fast food. the only thing that differs is the speed of serving. in this Mc you didn't have to wait long. Mc clean and well-kept. plenty of space downstairs and upstairs

“am i speaking Chinese to you?” that is what the manager SCREAMED to his colleague at the tills. To have so much traffic I don’t understand why my food was cold. Fries were cold, soggy and not well cooked. Terrible experience. I won’t talk about the young group of people working there, obviously they hate their job and couldn’t ask for a smile or so… chop, chop, chop and no quality

Prices are more expensive than regular MC. Many tables not clean, despite the offer of passengers who wanted to eat something, the service did not really step up. Food was just MC quality.

Regular run-of-the-mill McDonald's experience except for the incredible professionalism of the staff - dealing discreetly and professionally with a disgruntled American lady who was harassing the staff for no reason including trying to take photos and instigate some sort of confrontation. I hope the staff are highly valued here.

Very bad, they charge for the mayonnaise there is NO refeel on the drinks, the portions are extremely small and the price for one meal is over the 14 euros.

Im someone dessides to blow up this mc donalds. Then it would be tottaly fine. Straight robbery this cancerous mc donalds. All the staff suck. But the prices are straight robbery and just not fair. Came here to chill after numerous exhausting layovers, and was thoroughly surprised by how different McDonald's is in different countries. Probably the tastiest McDonald's has ever tasted. Dunno if the McDonald's I'm used to is just garbage, or if the golden arches are just tastier here. I guess I'll never know.

Shorted me a quarter pounder. When I walked all the way back to get it with the order number, I assume the man was the manager was extremely rude and dismissive. Pretty much akin to theft. Also treated the students in my group with similar disdain. Following up with CC company to get refund, due to the lack of concern or professionalism from the customer service.

Served quickly and I thought the food was decent, but the prices are insane. 20 EUR for a Big Mac meal and a McFlurry? Ridiculous.

What's the definition of a scam? The answer is McDonalds in general, given their rampant shrinkflation, and this one in particular. Extra large meal is advertised as €13.65 which is supposed to iclude fries and drink...but then there's an additional €1.35 charge for the drink bringing the total to €15. Absolute con artists.

The usual Mc Donald's but much more expensive than in Italy. The problem is that with a coincidence of about 1h00 it was the only restaurant that offered an affordable price...

Neither good nor bad - while the staff are good, the portions are tiny and prices extremely high compared to the typical branch on the street. Not a bad option if you are in a rush but might otherwise be better to go to one of the other restaurants in the terminal.

Food is too expensive, almost 7x of Indonesian price. Tomato ketchup sachet cost you almost EUR 1. Taste just so so. Place is quite ok, got more table & chair space.

Food was a absolute nightmare 6€ for a milkshake that was half full couldn’t add more onions apparently but when we got the food there was like 2 pieces of onion in it 15€ for 1 disgusting burger with bland and undercooked taste do not go here it’s a waste of money and time

Bad service, milkshake was half full, not mixed well. It took 25 minutes to make. The staff was clearly completely unmotivated and this was the last time I get anything there for a while.

The worst experience in a long time in a fast food company. Having the means to be able to indicate when your food was ready, they would shout the number and did not use the screens that were on and only when 15 minutes passed without the owner of the order coming did they include it. I don't recommend eating at that place. I have to say that the employees were not to blame, but the manager.

The worst Mcdonald ever been in my life. Paid 35£ for 2 meal. Fries undercooked and cold, burger cold, full of sauce, tomato slices falling out the bun and cheese not malted. Drink ice with the splash of coke. Also my waiting number disappeared from the screen so I had to ask where it was and very rud attitude he said: here , just take it. When they never call my number

The fries are not crispy and the coke is flat. the most sticky and dirty floor. Well a lot to improve for them.

Bad atmosphere at the Mac at the airport lounge departure 3, no customer focus, I had ordered a McVeggie, and a box with a receipt stuck on it with McVeggie written on it, after a bite or 2, I started to have doubts about the contents, but the content was not a mcveggie, and apologies.or.something, just casually hand over a mcveggie and continue having fun with other employees.. Coca Cola also served without ice, I did not customize anything during my order. And all this for 150% of the regular prices Stay away from here. I don't recommend any dish at this establishment Or replace your staff

Terrible service, I asked for a package of ketchup and in a derogatory manner they told me that I had bought it, and as soon as I paid for a €1 bag of Ketchup at the counter they threw it on my food tray.

Probably one of the worst McDonald’s I’ve ever been into round the world . Staff not helpful at all I would go as far as saying very aggressive towards people asking questions. Extremely expensive and as it had only been open half an hour when I went food was cold and dry . Save your money try something different.

I arrived at the end of my shift, they threw the burger on a tray in front of me, didn’t put the straw down, and only gave me one napkin. Big Tasty is more like a Medium Tasty) The tables themselves are not cleaned, there are napkins and greasy marks lying around.
