You can order at the counter or from the automatic ordering machine near your seat, and the food isn't too slow to arrive, which is great.

If you consciously order a coffee in a sustainable cup that you return, you'll still receive it in a disposable cup. It's pressed into your hands by a staff member who continues to talk to his colleague and says literally NOTHING to me.

Went to the counter to be served,to be told they don't serve at counter, although the person Infront of me had just been served So went to screen to place order and then went to collect and watched 2 more people be served Manager was rude and thought it was quite funny when talking to his colleague

It's a McDonald's, after all. The ordering process, from order placement to pickup, is well-organized. The service is efficient. The prices are unbelievable – about double what you'd normally pay. Seating is a bit limited.

A bunch of employees were just standing there doing nothing. Even after three people checked, the meal was still missing a burger. Only three items could be missing – that's terrible. The service was awful, the attitude was awful. If we weren't in the airport, we wouldn't have bothered ordering. We waited ages for our food. Everything was awful.

We could never find it no matter how hard we looked; they should provide a reliable map of the airport.

Don’t ever order here. They had me wait for more than half an hour after which they said my order couldn’t be made. They also refused to refund my money, stating I had to send them an email to contact customer service. So they took my money and didn’t provide any service. I would expect this to be illegal?

Pick up your own food, no table service

Always busy but you get what you’d expect food wise. However it’s a bit more expensive than the usual McDonalds.

What is the point in having 12+ self service terminals and only running 2 of them? 10 minutes in a que just to order and another 15 waiting for a bottle of water and a cheeseburger. Staff behind the counter couldn't move any slower if they tried. Someone definitely needs to look at the operational standards and fix something as this was the most abysmal service I've had at a McDonald's anywhere.

I was surprised what we ordered was finished in no time whilst the queue was long.

25 minutes waiting for what is called fast food? 🫣 Too late service unfortunately! Plus the screen was not working to indicate the order number ready to pick up. Plus we paid 0.15 cent for each plastic cup because they don’t have the service to ide reusable plastic ones instead so we are forced to pay it.

I ordered food and even though the sign said pick up, I waited for more than 10 minutes. My food hadn't even started to be made yet. Arrogant attitude of the staff and the manager, who refused to tell me their name. No one wears name tags. Instead of ice tea without ice, my order contained a strange, disgusting bubble drink. When I complained, they told me that their ice tea is always bubbly. Since when is tea at McDonald's sparkling and why did it taste like a mix of all drinks? The Big Mac was poorly made and the overall environment was very dirty and untidy, not only in the seating area, but also in the preparation area, it didn't show the standard of McDonald's, but some dirty place that hadn't been cleaned for a long time.

€6 for 2 miserable chicken tenders. €10 for a basic chicken burger. Complete rip off.

There's nothing more discouraging than sitting at McDonald's at 7am, surrounded by sleepless and grumpy travelers.

Great balance between the busy airport and great food and service. Been a pleasure eating there, meat-free alternatives really tasty and the fries were great, especially with the shaker spices and fritessaus.

Dear lord this place is awful. I’m not going to complain about the outrageous prices but rather the service here. Staff had hair down with no hair nets in sight. They were also quite rude. When they got my order wrong (it’s fine it happens) and I got it changed I was met with my burger being handed to me by a worker with the filthiest nails I’ve ever seen in my life. Definitely stay away from this particular McDonald’s at schiphol, opt for the other one if you want it that bad

A loud, noisy, and not particularly clean McDonald's restaurant that's visited by thousands of people every day. It's also ridiculously expensive.

The food is good. And the staff is super fast working and that is really nice inside an airport!

We had a quiet meal before we went on holiday.

You couldn't even scan the codes. Pretty bad. You know why? Because it's just bloody expensive. They don't offer that discount here. Such a shame... oh yeah, my friend also got the wrong nuggets and wasn't allowed to keep them. They probably got thrown away 🥸 luckily the food was still edible.

No, really not recommended. On top of the general travel frustration of delays and missed flights, there's the super deal at McDonald's: a Big Mac meal for 15.20. What world war and what famine did I miss? I don't know the prices outside of airports either, but if they're similar, you'd have to be really out of it to get food there.

It's hard to believe this is still a restaurant that dominates in the global fast food business. Food is garbage for the money spent. Costs the same as regular food at a restaurant. Service at the airport leaves alot to be desired, exchanging ketchup for curry sauce went through 3 levels of approvals and got declined by management. Gone are the days of the family friendly restaurant, with Ronald McDonald. Only similarities is that there is still a bunch of clowns working here.

I went to McDonalds at Schiphol Airport around 11am and ordered fish and chips I was expecting a warm fresh meal but instead I received a cold tasteless burger that felt like it had been sitting out for hours It was honestly disgusting and not what you expect from a global brand I also ordered a strawberry milkshake for my son but he dropped it by accident I went to ask a staff member if a cleaner could help and they told me I have to clean it myself I was shocked This is one of the busiest airports in the world and there are cleaners on duty What are they doing if they cannot help with basic things like this A few minutes later a cleaner did come and clean the area but by then I had already been told to clean it myself which made no sense Then they gave me two new milkshakes One was half full and the other one tasted like it had expired It had a sour smell and made me feel sick This was honestly one of the worst experiences I have had at McDonalds Cold food unhelpful staff and low quality drinks I hope someone in charge takes this seriously because it is not acceptable at all

Well, it's still McDonald's. But then there are dirty tables, dirty floors, grumpy and slow staff, long lines, and lukewarm food. But hey, a quick bite, and the kids were happy.

Very busy and therefore very slow. The order screens are grubby and the tables are littered with food, spilled sauces and mess and discarded trays. The majority of the tables are high up with stools and therefore weren't wheelchair friendly. The more accessible seating was by the kids play area, so very noisy. It is a fast food service, so you get what you pay for, however, in saying that, the prices are extortionate for mediocre food. The staff were clearly overworked, but friendly and helpful. The design of the area could be more accommodating to those with mobility needs and a couple of cleaners would be a huge plus, nothing worse than getting someone else's discarded food on your sleeve.

Like any airport location, the good thing is that they have a gluten-free variety.

McDonald's is always good; you know what you're getting. But it's so expensive, it's not really worth it, even if you choose to eat or drink there yourself.

Worst McDonald's I've been to for a long time. Stood waiting for my order and it didnt come up on the screen. After 10 mins of waiting I went to the counter to ask and my food was just sat there. I saw the bag a while ago but they didn't bother to say it was ready. Because of the delay the fries were cold. Staff were very rude.

€15 for a McDonald's meal was very expensive compared to what I would normally pay however it was very good. Fries were fresh, burger was tasty so would go again next time I am at the airport.

Better quality than usual McDonald’s BUT prices are ridiculously high it is unjustified but there are no other options at an international hop airport such as Schiphol. £ 40 for 2 adults is a crime from any fast food even at an airport. Higher expenses on stores and restaurants by the airport shouldn’t affect the selling prices to this extent. Eat any snack like a croissant or something and when you reach your destination you can eat all you want

Very surprised that an airport McDonald’s would have good service and quality of food would be as good as McDonald’s produces. If you are craving a burger and fries and have limited time visit the McDonald’s near lounge 2.

Meal deals are advertised for a price, but all drinks on the menu are an extra cost. Absolutely criminal pricing and backhanded sales tactics. €32 for 2 large meals is absurd. Better off bringing your own food into the airport

€48 for two meals. Overly salty fries and no seasoning on the burger. Better visit a nicer place in the airport as this McDonald's does badly priced mediocre food.

We waited over 30 minutes for two ice creams! Finally we asked, several times, without it seeming to help. It seems like they had completely lost control.

I give it 3 stars for the service, the staff lacks friendliness, in the Netherlands people are very friendly, but the young people at the Local were not.

I bought one panini and after I decide to buy also a chicken nuggets. was served cold food, and when I went to pay for the chicken nuggets, I was charged €7.90 — even though the usual price is around €5.59. When I pointed out the discrepancy and refused to pay the higher amount, the cashier told me to wait. She then applied a “discount” on the receipt, which simply brought the total down to the correct, original price. It felt misleading, as if they were trying to overcharge me until I said something.
