Waited a very long time for food and then never got it and no money back

Bad, like almost all McDonald's in the Netherlands. But I'm not a McDonald's fan. There are certainly people who do like the food, service, and atmosphere there.

Delicious food and friendly staff, but unfortunately, they're a bunch of vultures here, so few fries in the box! You pay for a medium and get practically small fries.

Picked up food at the drive-thru to eat at home. When I got home, the boxes of the Happy Meal toys (Playmobil) were empty... only the packaging remained.

I'm going crazy no chili chicken and takes too long

It took a long time to pay and get your food, even though it didn't look very busy (only three cars in the McDrive). It's a real shame that you paid for things like fries sauce, but it wasn't included with your order. Unfortunately, I realized this too late to drive back.

An employee kept gesticulating at another person in the store. This is completely inappropriate. I was there with my children, and they were constantly giving middle fingers and other disrespectful gestures. I'll definitely not be coming back!

Excellent hospitality at the call box! Very friendly and attentive service, a solid 10 points from me. We couldn't really experience the atmosphere because we drove past the drive-through! The service was very friendly!

I ate here yesterday around 8:30-9:00 PM. Unfortunately, I had another bad experience with the same employee who brought the food. He came across as very unfriendly, which made the meal unpleasant. It's a shame, because the food is otherwise good.

Busy! But the food arrived quickly, but everything had waaaaay too much sauce.

I visited well before rush hour and my review is a combination of service and overall quality of the restaurant and the food. First of all, the restaurant is lacking in service and menu variety. For example, the table service and seating zones. All of the order screens were missing a table service number card, the holders were empty and to my surprise there were no gluten-free options or alternatives. How? Most of the McDonald's here have switched to offer (at least) a gluten-free bun option, but not this one. Second, the overall cleanliness of the restaurant. I didn't notice it at first because it was not very busy so I assumed the tables were clean until I had placed my order and went to go pick a table. That's when I noticed it and started to look around to find more dirty tables and overflowing trashcans. I thought "Okay I just picked a bad time, maybe after a lunch rush or something" but it turned out that the staff was more occupied with working in the kitchen than maintaining the restaurant as was evident when my order came up but with some things missing. I'll get to why that happened, in a moment. I know it can happen but again, it wasn't busy or starting to get busy. So I go to the front waiting to be helped but I got ignored at first. At the order desk/register were some minor problems and the main focus of personel was getting orders out as fast as possible. Kudos, but in my opinion not very relevant when it's not busy or slammed. I asked the first person I see if there's a moment where they can help me, after waiting for a while. After telling what was missing from my order, it turned out it was just left behind. In the moment, where the missing items were getting picked up, I noticed the kitchen was overflowing with staff to the point where everyone was just getting in each other's way. Chaos. That's when I knew why the restaurant's cleanliness was so neglected. With all of this happening outside of rush hour I don't want to know what happens during one. That said, I decided to give 2 stars because of how quick my order was done since it was for four people including me and it being of decent temperature as well. In short: I don't recommend going during rush hour and if you do, mind the dirty tables or an incomplete order.

Orders are never complete, and this happens every time. It's incredibly annoying. Just check everything to make sure it's correct! It's already expensive enough.

Great McDonald's, it took a bit long to get through the drive-thru. But it was all fine.

A lot of burgers were sold out. Never seen anything like that before. It's a shame. But the burgers that were available were good. The tables were dirty. Also a shame.

Sometimes it's difficult to get a correct order. The staff are very friendly! Great, but... you sometimes find surprises in your paper bag: items that aren't there, or items that are actually there. It can be quite an adventure!

I didn't find the chicken nuggets hot anymore. I think that's a shame.

Not really fast, but nice and hot. It's a shame the much-praised MC Korean at several restaurants is sold out.

Great food! Nothing wrong with it

The food was served very quickly. Because it was extremely busy, it was quite noisy, but the staff were still very good and pleasant to work with.

The burger and wrap were beyond expectations! Better than other Mc's I've been to. They even bring the food to your table, which adds to the atmosphere!

Opening times are completely wrong

I just ordered from McDonald's for €4.20. I didn't get it because there was a PIN problem. But the money was taken from my account. It doesn't say anywhere that there was a PIN problem!

So now you pay €4.10 for this. Half full. They don't do anything about it because it's the machine. Very strange.

My daughter returned to the counter with a cold burger. She got a new one, and that one was also cold. I wouldn't be surprised if it was the same burger. We went back again and finally got a warm, edible burger.

We drove through the drive-through, and when it was our turn, no one said anything on the call box, and there was no car at the other box either. And when a car arrived at the other box, they helped it even faster. After that, we drove back and forth, and yes, we finally got a response. We were able to drive through to the first window, which took 15 minutes. Then another 5 minutes for the second window. To make matters worse, they'd lost all our orders. No, this McDonald's used to be much better. Too bad.

What was especially nice: fresh, hot fries! Excellent!

As usual, the sandwiches at McDonald's are dry, no matter where you go. But what I never understand is that if you order two large milkshakes with two different flavors, they don't know which is which. They just put it on the table, and then put it in different cups so you know, "That's that one, and that's that one," but no, they just put it on your table, and when you ask, they don't know. And since a lid is too much to ask for these days, they can no longer push the tip of a lid in to indicate that the one with the pint pressed in is the one with that flavor. Writing one letter on a cup, or a specific color for a specific flavor, is enough for McDonald's to tell the customer what's what.

Spacious McDonald's. Clean. And otherwise just McDonald's.

Bad business Filthy, smelly restrooms Cold food When you report this, you get the answer, "Yeah, I don't know either." A lot of children work there, walking around with food and looking for the right people to serve it.

Ball tent and very aggressive staff.

It took 25 minutes at the McDonald's Drive-Thru. Order quickly, pay... snails are faster and have no customer service whatsoever, and then wait for the food... Ugh, terrible, and not a single friendly word can be said.

Received two extremely bad wraps, barely any lettuce, and the crispy chicken was swimming in sauce. You guys could learn a lot from McDonald's in Barneveld.

A McDonald's. You only go there if you absolutely have no other choice, after all. The Vattenfall charging stations had different plugs and were therefore not used.

The cappuccino was undrinkable, coffee grounds with milk, salty and sweet... I only took a quick sip, disgusting, but I didn't want to stand in line for so long for another coffee, so I threw it away. Thanks for nothing.

Lots of seating available. The menu features amazing burgers. It’s the first fast food spot I’ve visited in the Netherlands that’s actually clean and well-organized. The food came out quickly. One of my sandwiches was missing, but the staff at the counter helped immediately. I really enjoyed the sauces, the seasoning on the fries, and the Dutch-style wrapped sandwich. I hope I’ll find more tidy places like this around the country. 😇 Thanks for everything!

It wasn't very busy when we arrived around 5:30 PM. But every table we wanted to sit at hadn't been cleaned, so we had to ask for a cloth ourselves. And we weren't comfortable afterward, but that's our own fault.

Very clean and quiet. Location in close proximity to the hospital which makes it an idea pit stop before heading home.

If you order Spicy nuggets you will get regular... A bit of a shame that I did mx drive and only found out on the highway. It remains McDonalds there is always something.

These people are making money while not even delivering my order

After a year I went to Mac again. Had a big banana milkshake. Didn't really taste like banana. And then those paper straws. Because of that thick milkshake, the straw immediately snaps shut and you suck like crazy, and you have to drink. So make better straws or add more.

I will go there again soon but the burgers tasted a bit less than elsewhere. Friendly staff. The Mac is difficult to reach. I have already driven wrong a few times. I thought the experience was fine, but it is not the most dynamic McDonalds.

Good service, delicious food but especially the best lady at the counter saw our two year old son waving. She gave him a mask and chatted for a while. He has the night of his life. What a pleasure

In the morning the occupancy is not optimal....almost half an hour spent in the Drive for a cappuccino and a mc muffin....

It remains a McDonald's and there is nothing special to report about it. What stood out were the cookies. My cookie was still raw and not baked properly. After complaining I got a chocolate cookie. That was a little less raw. Instead of throwing away the cookies, after the employee had noticed that they were not baked properly, they were still sold.

What a joke. Ordered a very simple meal. It took 3 employees. After paying, I still got the wrong thing. Laughing.

Go here once every 5 years. Still not edible, even grandson doesn't like it! Nothing beats a home made hamburger!

When ordering everything goes wrong. The gentleman makes a mac wrap out of a mac plant.? Then I get fries sauce without fries??? Stood in the drive for half an hour without food!!

Never been here before. But great Mac. Enough parking to park and eat after the McDrive. If you drive "outside", you have nice trash cans on the left and right so that you can throw away the stuff without getting out of the car.

Far too expensive ultra-processed food. In an unpleasant food shed. This applies to all McDonald's branches.

Super bad thing. My order was mixed up with someone else's. And then went with someone else. And I take the other people's orders. Nothing wrong can happen. I put the mac drive back in. I placed my order at 00:20:20 and at 00:45 they give me back the same order cold, which has already been with other people. The other people also received their own order back, which had already been in my car for 20 minutes. Super bad thing. Spent €18.60 and no food. Except that my food was already cold and I didn't feel like driving into the drive again. Is it also strange that you return an order that has been in someone else's car for 20 minutes? Super unsanitary.

Picked up delicious food from McDonald's on a pleasant evening. You would think that the evening couldn't get any worse... Still got half of the order. And then you call them and they don't answer 4 times. On the 5th attempt someone ends up on the line. You tell them in a normal way what went wrong, and guess what? The phone hangs up. And after that the phone is no longer answered. Bad business.

Had a bad experience in terms of service about 3 years ago. The manager called very politely for questions and explanations. Visited again today and received a very pleasant welcome from the employees. nice establishment.

Drove through McDrive. Chili burger and vanilla milkshake. Staff friendly. Chili burger was tasty, but the milkshake had a bit of a chemical taste.

The take away food was not complete, but because you are already on the road it is not very convenient

I'm not very fond of the Mac. It was cold there. And there was a draft from the ventilation. I asked if it could be taken off. I didn't get an answer. Just a vague look.

Clean tables, clean toilets, just a pity that the burger was lukewarm.

The food is just like a mac, except they should have mentioned that the sauce for the fries is spicy.

Nog nooit zo 'n smerige aardbeimilkshake gehad smaakte niet naar aardbei was lauw en had een gladde smaak. Teruggegaan en daar werd de milkshake tot aan de rand bijgevuld een nieuw deksel en nieuw rietje en aan de smaak kon ze niets doen. Zeer slechte service en daar betaal je €7.50 voor 59 cent voor 2 bekers van papier.

Whispering several times. First I get there and order drinks in a disposable cup for which you pay extra, then I get it in a reusable cup. I go back and they pour it over and 1 ice cube falls next to it on the preparation table, she picks it up with her hands and throws it back into the cup. Of course I said I wanted a new drink now. The next time I order a burger, I get it cold. Naturally, I asked for a new one and received it promptly. I just wanted to ask something so I called several times. It's just not recorded. I find this very strange. Conclusion: lousy service!

Despite the modest order, exceptionally pleasant contact with the employees of this neatly kept clean Mac. Worth visiting longer next time.

Drink ordered in recyclable cup but I got disposable and the message with it doesn't matter. Yes, that does matter. Good luck with training to be a decent employee. (Boy)

Food was as expected from McDonald's. Toilets clean. Greek burger was a nice addition.

I ordered a dubbele big tasty burger and I was give a normal big tasty. This is the first time I have been disappointed in Macdonald hoogeveen. Please as regular of you fast feed spot please make sure you give there correct order that was ordered and paid for!!

every time I order food through the app there is some problem. there has never been a single time when everything was ok. I order through the app to make it quick, to pick up the food and not wait, and every time I wait a very long time because everything is wrong. very bad

Order was not delivered properly. We were helped well inside and the error was corrected.

Hamburger was nice and hot, clearly freshly prepared. Received two straws with the frappe, normally one breaks so quickly, so great service that they immediately give it to you!
