McDonald's in Hoogvliet

Ordered 3 Big Macs and 4 Hamburgers Unpacked at home: 2 Big Macs and 7 Hamburgers. The receipt states correctly, but they cannot read properly. Difficult to reach by phone.

The food was delicious and the manager was super sweet and played with us; we also got to make ice cream in the McDonald's kitchen.

Normal, like in all Mac Donald's.

It was suuuuuper busy on a Wednesday with a warm temperature of 30 degrees. I waited a very long time, just like the rest. But the staff worked hard and were helpful. And most importantly... the food was hot. Not warm or lukewarm, no, really hot. So the fact that you have to wait a bit, well... Respect to the staff.

Good service, I received my order quickly.

The burgers weren't put together very well. The coffee took forever because the machine was playing up, and the food ended up going cold.

It seems no one is responsible for the garbage today.

After waiting inside for well over half an hour, still no food; everyone sitting inside didn't get any. The McDonald's drive-thru did! So you're better off staying in your car. Eventually, I asked for a refund, which also took half an hour because the manager just stands there ignoring me. Terrible treatment here and a manager who absolutely cannot handle the situation! Definitely do not eat here!

One of the better McDonald's; it's still a McDonald's, but this one has definitely improved compared to recent years. I think things run a lot smoother now. No McDonald's does a great job with home delivery. Just order inside, enjoy your meal, and move on!

I forgot my cola, so I had to get it. Then I saw that the mayonnaise wasn't with my granddaughter's fries. Had to go back again. The five of them were standing there talking and just left me standing there. I ate in the restaurant, but they charged 15 cents for a takeaway cup. So no, they were having an off day.

Clean, friendly, and fast service where everything is at the right temperature, highly recommended.

Often misses items at the McDrive, check first before you leave

Visited on 19_7_2026. Hamburgers were burnt, pickles and ketchup were nowhere to be found 🤔 buns were soggy, fries limp and lukewarm, and the fishburger minimal. Very small and a thin slice of gum cheese and saisal ran down the bun. Totally dissatisfied, was a waste of my money. You won't see me again, except for soft serve ice cream. Unfortunately, it has become the worst Mac ever, unfortunately.

Please check the products because often there are missing items in your orders.

We recently had a lovely time here with girlfriends and it was really fun! The restaurant was clean, the atmosphere was nice, and the staff was friendly. Our order was ready quickly and everything was nice and fresh. Definitely a nice McDonald’s to meet up with friends. We will certainly come back here again!

Had a super fun visit with activities for young and old! Arts and crafts with the little ones, and shuffleboard and puzzles for the elderly while you wait. The waiting time flew by because of this! Received incredibly helpful assistance.

What a super cozy McDonald's this is! Yesterday I went to the fun afternoon with my two kids; it was so enjoyable. The children were thoroughly entertained and enjoyed an ice cream. And I was able to sit in the sun for a while on the clean terrace. I dare say it is my and my kids' favorite McDonald's!

Poor service because the supervisor simply snaps at a very helpful employee. I was helped politely, but the receipt won't come out of the machine because it jams. The employee asks the supervisor for help. The supervisor snapped: "Why this register? And did you actually pay?" Judging immediately instead of asking what the problem is and offering a helping hand. I don't understand why the employee accepts this behavior from the supervisor.

It was so busy and we had to wait 45/60 minutes, and in the end everything was just cold. Service was good considering the crowds, but the food was..

A lot of trash inside next to the bins, piles of trash on the tables next to them. Understaffed, order is not being brought.

Local grab bag, always a tasty snack during your work at the refinery

A really nice McDonald's! They organize fun activities for children, and you can play fun games while waiting. The food was also very tasty and the fries were crispy. I will definitely be back!

Only went for ice cream; the drive-in alone is extremely cramped for larger cars.

It was terrible. I placed an order, and when I was surprised to find it incomplete, the main door was locked, and no one was answering or responding. This is unacceptable. Respecting customers is essential to the business. Next time, I will act differently.

Worst McDonald's ever. This is our second time here. The first time they managed to give us the wrong burger three times, and the second time it was "busy" (average busyness for a McDonald's) and we waited for over 45 minutes. I went to ask if they were working on it and received a very unfriendly response. And when you ask for a refund, there is no reaction and they act as if they can't hear you. Then they spontaneously manage to piece your order together anyway so they don't have to give a refund. I don't know if that woman is a manager or a host, but I think the way you treat people is terrible. In any case, I will never come back here and I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone.

I've never experienced anything like this, at any fast food restaurant whatsoever.. It took me over 50 minutes to get through the McDrive.. really bizarre! We wanted to get food and watch the sunset, which has already set by now, of course 👍

The only good thing here was the seats+the fans they set up. Seriously! My family of a 12 year old and 2 adults went to get a lunch meal at around 11;30pm. We ordered 2 burgers and 2 medium fries and 9 chicken nuggets. It was supposed to be like 10 minutes, max! Guess what? 20 minutes for a simple meal! Service terrible we went to the main pickup area and asked where our meal was? They said "oh sorry its busy" meanwhile there was like 4 other people?? Horrible service. Didnt even say sorry for the wait. The 12 year old? 30 minutes later her stomach is already hurting!terrible wheres our cookie??🙄

Food was not perfectly hot. Service good. Atmosphere Hmmm. In general, I think food should be delivered properly hot. And that is sometimes lacking at this branch. Things had actually been going reasonably well lately. So too bad about the 20th.

Went to McDonald's Hoogvliet today. They had a really nice arts and crafts corner for the children, with two sweet young ladies helping out there. Finally, after eating (probably related to the World Cup), they were allowed to get a free soft ice cream (make it themselves) if they scored a goal in one of the three goals. This was also supervised by these ladies. Super fun!

Very disappointing experience with this McDonald's. A mistake was made in my order, which of course can happen. After I contacted them about this, I was promised that it would be resolved properly. However, I have heard nothing from them since. When I contacted them again myself, there was a lot of denial regarding what had been agreed upon earlier and the course of events. At the same time, they indicated that something was indeed registered in the system, but apparently not in the correct way. As a result, responsibility was constantly shifted, and I received no clear solution. Making mistakes is human, but how a company handles it when a customer reports a problem says much more. Communication was poor, agreements were not honored, and I did not feel taken seriously as a customer. It is a shame, because a simple and honest resolution could have prevented a lot of frustration. ⭐☆☆☆☆

The music is really amazing! All those millennium hits are great. It could be a bit tidier, though, and the toilets a bit cleaner.

Service is getting worse by the day. I just ordered from the drive-thru again, and the lady sitting there thought it wasn't necessary to take a normal order. Customer friendliness isn't being taught to the staff. And it's also always questionable whether the food is correct and complete. I live 2 minutes away, but this is exactly the reason I don't order here often anymore.

Coffee is on special offer for 65-year-olds, at €1.50 per cup. The service was terrible. My coffee was ready, still on the coffee machine, and no one had brought it to me yet. I was the only customer there. 😡😡

Overall, everything is just terribly dried out. Well, terrible, just inedible. My mood and my snack were ruined.

I made an order and while waiting I felt really bad, they refused to give me water and help, they said that I should buy water if I felt bad, although I could hardly speak, they behaved disgustingly and disrespectfully, I ask you to take action!

I ate a McFleury there. Very fast, ice cream was actually ice cream and not milk like the McDonald's in Woerden. There I ordered ice cream and, after a long wait, received a cup of sweet milk sludge.

Great McDonald's. Quite busy, but plenty of space and parking. Air conditioning. Friendly service inside. My 5-year-old grandson was helped nicely with exchanging his Happy Meal toy. The food wasn't cold. So much better than a few years ago.

Waited a long time for 2 ice creams

I thought I'd try something different for a change. But this one tastes exactly the same as at other McDonald's restaurants.

It's taking an incredibly long time at the McDonald's drive-thru, it's really not normal.

Weird, I received someone else's order. Very strange. Things can never just go right there. Weird.

I still don't get the plastic contribution. Everything is in paper. Nasty cardboard straws. And then you have to pay a 15-cent contribution on top of that. So it's just another profit-making item. A few million x 15 cents makes for a nice profit distribution for the management. Otherwise, the ice cream is tasty and the hamburger was lukewarm and soggy again.

Cleaning tables remains a thing

I thought I'd just grab a nice McFlurry at the McDonald's drive-thru in Hoogvliet on Saturday night, and I didn't even get half a cup filled. A rip-off for nearly 4 euros, scandalous!

McDonald's drive-thru is very slow and the food is cold.

The meat here is washed in ammonia nitrate, so the meat is not suitable for human consumption. And they always forget something in your order, which is very annoying, so check your order carefully, folks, it saves irritation at home.

Ideaal really needed to pee badly

The kids' menu started with tomatoes while we ordered an apple cart, and then it turned out they were already past their expiration date. The employee's reaction was: "Oh, went to look," and came back with the correct expiration date. No apology, turned around, and walked away.

A long wait for an order (25 minutes), then an apple juice, fries, and carrots were missing from the Happy Meal. How hard can it be to deliver a complete order in one go? This happens so often here. The employees and managers don't seem to care.

It often happens that I don't get the correct order, parts are missing or wrong, such as the burgers and sauces, etc.

Let's be clear: 10 years in the Netherlands has taught me that McDonald's here is synonymous with filth. You expect sticky floors, toilets that are a public health hazard, and cold, smashed burgers. It's the law of the land. And then, I walked into Hoogvliet. I was braced for the usual biohazard. Instead, I found... spotless tables? Toilets that were actually clean and smelled fresh? My food was hot, and packed with care, not just thrown in the bag. The biggest joke? I used to live in Hoogvliet and I actively avoided this place, assuming it was just as disgusting as the rest. My mistake. I've been missing out on the only McDonald's in this country that seems to understand hygiene. 😅 This place isn't just good for the NL, it's exceptional. The manager deserves a medal and should be put in charge of decontaminating the rest of them. 6/5. Stunned.

Nice McDonald's on the A15 it has a big parking space and offers the usual menu's whoch one experts at a McDonald's. Staff is very friendly and the service isngreat .nthe atmossphere is just like any other McDonald's and so is the food

They messed up my order 3 times. I asked for a cheeseburger without pickle, and then I got it without cheese. I asked for a replacement, and I got it with pickle.... A move? 3 people.

I honestly don't know where to begin. I ordered the food around 6:00 PM. Then, after an hour and a half, I received a message from the delivery driver saying he was apparently in Spijkenisse. Very strange, because the food should have already arrived at the stated time. He was stuck because the bridge was closed. This has been known for some time. The delivery driver arrived at Mac Hoogvliet around 8:00 PM to pick up the order. Unfortunately, I received lukewarm nuggets and soggy fries, and a cold burger that had to be microwaved. And one menu didn't come with fries sauce. Lukewarm fries without sauce. We were able to eat at almost 8:30 PM. Ordering is definitely not recommended!

We had some trouble ordering at the kiosk at first. It didn't really work well. Then we waited half an hour for our food. It was a pretty good breakfast, but we won't be ordering again.

The tables and floor were dirty. The restrooms were dirty, smelly, and not cleaned. There was no toilet paper or soap. Even though I arrived early in the morning and two other customers ordered coffee with breakfast, I waited 35 minutes and no one brought my breakfast to my table. The manager was rude and made racist comments. I demanded a refund and left.

We were there to eat quietly, and we got the wrong item in our order. It happens, no big deal. But the waitress gave my wife a dirty look and mumbled something to his colleague, clearly hearing them say, "Stupid people." What a mess they have working there! And everyone's acting all tough with the manager. I'm speechless; it's a disgrace.

This restaurant appears to be either declining or severely understaffed. They can't take orders correctly or give incorrect orders, if they can even prepare anything at all. A tragedy.

I'm speechless about this McDonald's. I no longer recommend ordering online. Ordered well in advance, but no McDonald's at the door. Normally, I get a confirmation, but apparently they didn't want to accept the order. Unfortunately, I ordered nothing an hour before closing time. McDonald's Hoogvliet is deteriorating rapidly. I'd rather drive to Spijk or Schiedam.

They always forget part of my order. The people who work there can't handle pressure. And even when it's quiet, like last week, they forget my fries and hamburger.

Just went to a cafe. Delicious!!! And the price is good too. The coffee is robust and has just the right tang. One drawback is the lid. It's not comfortable to drink because of the position of the drinking hole. It doesn't fit snugly against the mouth.

I've been here before, but this time the food I ordered wasn't as it should have been, and the toppings weren't complete. Lots of dirty tables and overflowing trash cans. This was on August 5, 2025.

Cold McWarp without any of the recipe's additions. The floor and countertops were dirty and smelly. The toilet was a mess with no soap or toilet paper. A culinary disaster! I do not recommend it.

It's very crowded and loud there...the staff look disinterested. All the rooms are dirty, with trash and food scraps on the floor. The children's play area was also dirty, with old wrappers and used napkins still on the seats. Cleanliness doesn't look good at all. For a small order of a Happy Metal, it took about 15 minutes to be brought to the table. The food tasted rather bland, with a hint of grease. It's also very loud, with lots of car posers playing loud music. It's also very expensive by German standards.

We had breakfast, the croissants were old, tough, cold, and flat. The staff yawned unabashedly 12 times in 3 minutes. Disinterested and completely unmotivated. Such a shame.

The visit itself was fine. When I got home, I got my takeaway order and instead of a whole portion of chicken nuggets, I got a hamburger, which wasn't so nice.

I'm absolutely pissed off at what a worthless company this is. Ordered through Uber, didn't get half of it, called them, and they said, "Uber is the only one." If I object, I'll order from you. They just push me away, call again, and they won't answer. This was truly the last time. Never again. Please join me. Those who don't want to hear will have to feel.
