McDonald's in Kadoelen

This must be the worst MC in the Netherlands.

Ordered myself at the pole with the help of an employee who, given my inexperience, was very patient with me.

Incredibly slow, I stood in the McDonald's drive-thru for 20 minutes for a cappuccino... And not around dinnertime.

The drive-thru is fast, often busy.

This is terrible, there is no menu here like in other McDonalds, and every drink seems to be diluted with syrup and water, in general, it’s terrible.

Truly the worst McDonald's I have ever been to. It was filthy, the food was cold, and they even bothered to say "enjoy your meal."

The food is average, and the service is good. However, the appearance around the McDonald's is neglected. They didn't water the planted laurel plants, so they are dead. And perhaps they could have someone pick up litter all day. People who eat there don't know what a trash can is.

A not-so-large McDonald's, easily recognizable from the highway thanks to the "M." However, it was difficult to find at first, as there are no signs. There's a covered and an open-air terrace, as well as a ground-floor seating area inside. As usual, the food is brought to your table, but it took over 20 minutes for breakfast to arrive. Everything was freshly prepared, though, including the croissants, which were still warm and already crispy. All in all, quite good.

Always a huge wait at the drive-thru. Super annoying. Especially if you just want to grab something during working hours or take a break there. Your break time is over before you even get anything. Burger was cold this time too.

Good evening. I just visited your McDonald’s in Kadoelen (Amsterdam North) and I find it ridiculous how your employees treat customers, particularly the employee behind the counter. A young Black man. He yelled back at customers, greeted no one, worked incredibly slowly, and even seemed to be looking for a fight with customers. Is this normal according to you? Additionally, several people stood waiting for more than 20 minutes for an ice cream. That is truly unbelievable. I hope you take this seriously and do something about the situation at McDonald’s Kadoelen, because this is absolutely not a pleasant customer experience!!!!!!!

The burgers here are just old, that chick just gives me a burger with mold on it.

Apparently, it is normal here to be verbally abused if you don't look like an average person. Employees swear at you and laugh at you at the drive-thru, but when you go inside to complain with the manager present, supposedly nothing was said. Miserable people work there. Scandalous!

Always busy, but for those who like junk food

Food is handed cold and the waiting time for a basic order took way too long. Finding a table is easy, there are plenty. The issue is finding a clean one. It would be understandable if it was a busy service and the number of employees was short, which wasn’t the case. It took 10 minutes to hand us 1 ice cream, and it only happened because I walked up to the counter and called one of the team members (3 of them walked pass by it while melting on the counter)

Stood in the McDonald's drive-thru for 26 minutes with at most 10 cars in front of me. Lukewarm fries and burger. Not recommended.

We have been sitting here waiting for an ice cream cone for 45 minutes, then she comes and drops it.

Just good, nothing wrong with it

I placed my order at the drive-thru, and she (braids, a bit chubby too, and blonde streaks) made my order wrong because things were missing. Then the man at the second window told me to order again, which I did, but that lady left her brains at home because she doesn't understand what I'm saying. I literally explain to her what I'm missing 3 or 4 times, but it still goes wrong. I think she ate my order, so that's it for her, and I'm never coming to this drive-thru.

They don't help you at the checkout, cold burger, and what they serve as a Quarter Pounder is really just a small hamburger. Very bad branch.

Having said this first: I rarely visit McDonald's, so I have little experience or knowledge about how to order. Because I wanted to get coffee and a treat after a hospital visit with my father, who has dementia, we went to stand at the MacCafe counter. It looked inviting, with coffee machines, coffee supplies, and a display case with cookies and pastries. We stood there waiting for a while, clearly in view of the staff. There were hardly any customers, but despite eye contact, we were completely ignored. When I spoke to a staff member, he asked if we had ordered yet. We hadn't, and he said we had to do that first. Uh, we would like to do that? To which he snapped at us several times that we had to do that at a pillar when I asked how? We left immediately because of such customer unfriendliness.

I just ordered a Quarter Pounder menu and there were maybe 5 onions and 2 pickles on it; it was cold. There was no salt on the fries. For the price, this is really terrible.

Very sluggish staff; almost all of them have no desire to do anything.

We ordered from the McDrive. My son ate a Happy Meal with McFish. Before we even got home, he had eaten and thrown it all up again by the side of the road.

Me and my husband got sick after take the burger, the fast food of mc Donald not hygiene in Amsterdam. Every time we had Mcdonald here we got sick and diarrhea...

I always get great help from Gina (drive-in) at the McDonald’s Kadoelen! She is incredibly friendly, works quickly, and makes sure you feel truly welcome. Really great service every time!

Best McDonald's in Amsterdam. McDrive open every day until 3:00 AM, Sunday until 1:00 AM.

They always serve melted ice cream or a watery milkshake, and they are stingy with their ice cream. And 9 out of 10 times they also give the wrong order.

They say that they are open they are not !

SCANDALOUS. 3 DAYS NOW I ORDERED A DOUBLE BIG TASTY AND RECEIVED A SINGLE, AND WHEN WILL YOU SEE IT? WHEN YOU GET HOME? AND I TELL THEM, THEY ONLY LOOK AT YOU. No assistance with ordering system.

They're too short-staffed to keep things moving reasonably quickly, and they seem incredibly busy—but little happens. You don't hear any management taking charge, and the service is lacking; there's no smile, and they clearly show they're not interested. Here too, they're clicking away orders to make service times seem better than they are, and the answer you get from a 15-year-old boy is that they don't work with the screen. Nonsense, of course; they influence service times. The food is expensive for what you get, and it's quite tasteless. Fine for a quick bite, but that's it.

A unique branch. Ordering here feels like a test of patience—slow is putting it mildly. Hygiene seems optional: dirty tables, sticky floors, and a general "whatever" atmosphere. The staff gives the impression that customers are simply difficult. Anyone who wants to experience fast food without the "fast" and service is in the right place. For me: once and never again.

Don't get your McFlurry here, they fill it up to less than half and then you pay 5 euros for clown behavior.

Unfortunately, there wasn't much atmosphere. But it was also 7:06 AM. So, as a Limburger, I was on the road, and most people there were still asleep, which made sense, haha.

Great McDonald's, great service, and the food is also served hot. When I ordered, it took only two minutes before they had my order ready, and they were also kind with the service when I requested to see one of the specific employees. It was a bit dirty when I came in, with food trays on tables and a bunch of cups, but they started cleaning it up while I was still sitting there.

Well, what can I say...The Big Mac tastes the same everywhere and remains delicious.

A bag containing one cola was delivered, which I hadn't ordered. It turned out the restaurant hadn't given the delivery driver the correct order. I contacted the restaurant, and the manager said he found the explanation vague and couldn't help me. As a solution, I suggested I drive to the restaurant myself to pick up my order, and to my surprise, the manager hung up on me. What TERRIBLE service, yuck!!

The toilets are extremely dirty.

I always stop there on my way home from work: it's very delicious and affordable. The staff are always polite and friendly.

It looked like the cleaning lady who handed me my food... There was no number at the ordering station... no milkshakes available... a real disaster this time. Then almost all the tables outside had bird droppings on them... just have someone get a bucket of water instead of picking your nose with a dozen people in the kitchen...

Things aren't improving here either, the food takes a very long time, and it's not really hot. I complained about it, but they didn't respond appropriately. With the prices they charge these days, they should be more mindful. I don't recommend this restaurant.

My order was super fresh! The fries were hot, the fish fillet was hot, everything was great! This was the first McDonald's where I actually enjoyed my food!

What a terrible McDonald's. We waited for minutes at the order terminal, even though there was absolutely nothing to do inside. Finally, the order was taken and paid for. Only English-speaking staff spoke it. We had to wait in the parking lot for the order, which then only arrived halfway. We had to wait again for the last part. Ultimately, we waited half an hour for two McKrokets and two milkshakes. This isn't a drive-in; it's more like an overnight stay. It's a shady place, too. Don't go there, just drive on.

Bizarrely long wait for 2 drinks and 2 Mc croquettes. Being addressed in broken English and almost not being able to place your order.

Overall, McDonald’s leaves a good impression — the food is fresh, and the staff are polite and quick to serve. However, the condition of the children’s slide is very disappointing. It clearly hasn’t been cleaned in a long time: the surface is sticky, there’s visible trash and dirt, and an unpleasant smell in the area. This makes the slide unhygienic and unsafe for kids to play on. I really hope the management pays attention to this issue and ensures regular cleaning and sanitation of the children’s area. It’s an important part of the overall experience, especially for families with children.

Check your order before you leave, and make sure they've taken it correctly! In the evenings, the fat bike/taxi mafia hangs out in the parking lot.

Super fast table service during peak hours, very efficient! The tables are also kept clean constantly. Mc's isn't my favorite, but this one did a great job today!

For me, one of the best drives there is. I often buy food here for colleagues, who also like it and everything is still nice and warm.

I've never experienced such an unfriendly McDonald's. The employees were truly rude—especially the manager. Our Happy Meal contained a broken toy, and when I asked to exchange it, the manager said he couldn't because he "couldn't give it to another child." He also wasn't willing to throw the broken toy away and give my child a new one—unbelievable! Later, I was able to exchange the toy at a McDonald's in Germany without any problem. It's unbelievable how friendly and helpful the German employees are—what a difference!

It took 30 minutes before I was told I wouldn't get my food, and yet I'd get my money back. That makes no sense.

After a long day, I stopped by MC Drive on IJdoornlaan in Amsterdam to grab a bite to eat. What a disappointment! The food was lukewarm, more cold than warm. Inedible, a waste of money.

Well well well, Once tested officially as one of the worst McDonalds in Amsterdam, they still hold the prize dear. The food was badly cooked, my ice cream had a sprinkle of Oreo and one drop of chocolate. For delivery they take ages to prepare, beware. Staff is more focused on doing everything else besides a good job. Avoid if possible.

As a 36-year-old man, I've visited at least 15 different McDonald's. Today, my daughter and I had a Happy Meal at McDonald's Adam Noord Ijdoornlaan. To summarize briefly: It was 11 a.m., so everything you see is probably from the night before, because this can NEVER be from the morning. The food was cold. The toilet was absolutely filthy: no toilet paper, poop on the seat, and dirty walls. The entire restaurant was covered in food scraps and packaging. There was dust on the shelves and dirt everywhere on the floor. Normally, McDonald's restaurants are kept fairly tidy, but this one was absolutely filthy. I also filed a complaint with the cashiers. Never, ever again. I felt really dirty after visiting this restaurant. Photos as proof! (Look closely at the photos through the window... Many tables are covered in old food scraps from visitors. Dust and food remains are covering all those wooden slats. Bahbahbah.

If you want to pay in cash you have to wait at least 7 minutes for the staff to come and help you, while they can see you waiting at the counter but still delay helping you.

When I first entered this establishment about 20 minutes ago I was expecting your average McDonald’s experience however I was pleasantly surprised when I was greeted by the friendly McDonald’s pigeon while I was initially shocked I soon came to realize that this pigeon was not only a visitor of this location but a part of the staff the employees tried to shoo him away but it was futile for he remained and continued to poop on the floor despite this this was my most memorable experience at a McDonald’s location while money may buy me a 9 piece McNugget it cannot buy an experience such as this I would highly recommend this location the pigeon is such an intelligent lifeform it has figured out how to let itself in and out of the restaurant by flying up to the motion sensor if you are looking for mediocre service a place to relieve yourself or bird diseases I would highly suggest dining at this fine establishment.

McDonald's is going downhill. The seating area is filthy and not cleaned. You have to ask for a cloth to clean your seat. Trash cans are overflowing. There are pigeons roaming around inside. Sometimes I wonder what McDonald's itself thinks about this. I'll ask next time.

Let me just say this... A lot of things could be better and it's definitely not the perfect McDonald's experience
