Terrible service, the employee who gave me my order has eaten a fry from my bag.

Open the door to the night shift people.every night we get noise from someone trying to access the place to work but the door it’s close and they ending to hit the glass with the keys and shout. Bit too much for neighbours.

The salesperson was really nice and it was nice to be able to eat upstairs in peace.

McDonald's is very dirty, with open trash cans and sticky tables. There was a mistake in the order. It's extremely noisy. And to top it all off, the toilets cost money. Furthermore, they're dirty and there's no toilet paper.

Unfortunately, even worse than the other branch on Nieuwendijk ⭐ After our less-than-stellar experience at the McDonald's at Nieuwendijk 212, this branch at Nieuwendijk 70 was even more disappointing. Here, too, we found the condition and cleanliness anything but inviting. Overall, the branch gave us a rather neglected and worn impression. It certainly wasn't a place we'd call comfortable. We were particularly annoyed by the restroom policy once again. Only when you want to use the restroom do you find out that it costs €1 and that you receive a 50-cent voucher, which can then be redeemed against your purchase. But what good is this voucher if you – like presumably many other customers – have already ordered and eaten? If this system is going to be used, we believe there should be a clearly visible sign where customers are made aware of it before ordering. That way, the voucher could at least actually be used. ... We generally have no problem paying for a truly clean and well-maintained restroom. However, the overall concept and execution here were just as unconvincing as in the other branch on Nieuwendijk – in fact, we found this branch even worse. For a McDonald's in such a central and tourist-heavy location, we expected significantly more. Unfortunately, only 1 out of 5 stars from us. ⭐

Absolutely ridiculous experience. I ordered a meal and was dining inside the restaurant, yet I was still expected to pay €1 just to use the toilet. I’m already paying for food and sitting inside as a customer, and somehow I’m supposed to pay extra just to use the bathroom? This is an embarrassing way to treat paying customers. €1 may not sound like much, but it’s the principle. I’ve never seen anything this ridiculous at a McDonald’s. Completely unacceptable and honestly makes me think twice about coming back.

It is downright ridiculous that as a paying customer here, you also have to pay to use the toilet. You buy food and drinks at McDonald’s, and then you are asked for extra money for something as basic as using the toilet. As far as I am concerned, this is totally unacceptable and shows a remarkable lack of respect for your customers. With such a policy, I absolutely cannot recommend this branch. If this is how you treat paying guests, I can only really wish this place would close its doors.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience. I ordered a large Chicken Salad Honey Mustard meal to take away. When I arrived at my hotel and opened it, I was shocked to find that it contained nothing but lettuce. There was no other salad ingredients just plain lettuce. I paid for a large salad meal, not a box of lettuce. By the time I discovered the mistake, I was already back at my hotel, so returning to the restaurant was not an option. This level of carelessness is completely unacceptable. I paid for a product that I did not receive, and it ruined my meal. I expect McDonald’s to take responsibility for this mistake and provide appropriate compensation, such as a full refund or a voucher for the inconvenience caused. I hope this complaint is taken seriously so that other customers do not have the same experience.

Even paying customers are asked to pay a euro to use their toilets. I understand there are maintenance costs for keeping the toilets clean, but can you at least add a wash basin outside the toilets area? Some of us only want to wash our hands before touching the food.

Soft drinks and snacks were fine. But what struck me was that they hire someone for the toilets: she was busy making sure people actually paid upon entry to the toilets. Even though the toilets were really far below par. Really very dirty, broken and a filthy toilet seat. Long live the Dyson handwashing system, but otherwise really very dirty. The floor, the toilets themselves, and the tiled walls clearly hadn't been cleaned for a very long time.

We came for dinner, and upon entry, this was the situation: people dealing drugs and filth everywhere. The order also arrived incorrectly, and napkins and trays were missing. The bathroom, besides being dirty, also requires payment.

I was trying to use the bathroom, put my card on the machine, heard a beeping sound and tried to walk in, when a rude cleaning lady yelled at me "you didn't pay!" I asked her if it didn't work and if I had to try again and she just yelled again "you didn't pay!" I didn't know if she was trying to scam me. I told her that I had put my card at the sensor and tried to explain that I would pay again if my payment didn't go trough, but I wouldn't tolerate her yelling at me and accusing me of not paying on purpose. But she always interrupted me and continued to yell "you didn't pay, check your phone, you didn't pay!!". Luckily another worker showed up and I was able to explain the situation. He offered me to go trough without paying, but I ended up paying anyways. It wasn't about money but the absolute out of line rude behaviour of that woman.

McFlurry dessert is a complete scam, it has almost none of the toppings you order. I ordered m&m one and has almost none m&ms

I am extremely disappointed with this McDonald's location. I ordered two McFlurries, and they were honestly pathetic. Oreo McFlurry: There was barely any cookie in it. It was basically just plain vanilla soft-serve. M&M's McFlurry: It had almost no chocolate or M&Ms at all. To make matters worse, the ordering machines let you select and pay for extra toppings, but the actual ice cream didn't include them. They literally charge you for extra toppings and then don't give them to you. On top of the food being subpar—the ice cream itself really isn't that good anymore—the restaurant's environment was terrible. The floor was extremely dirty, and the place was overcrowded with people just waiting around. This location is seriously lacking in quality control, cleanliness, and basic customer service. It needs a massive improvement. Would not recommend

For a restaurant as big as McDonald’s, with so many customers, it is not acceptable to have only one toilet, especially when you also have to pay €1 to use the restroom.

A Black male employee, who was cleaning nearby at the time, joined the situation—not to de-escalate it, but to laugh along with the group and make offensive, racist remarks targeting Asians. This behavior is absolutely unacceptable, especially from a staff member representing your brand. Customers should feel safe and respected regardless of their background, and this experience completely failed that expectation. You should definitely try the croquette burger here. Especially all Japanese people craving a Gratin Croquette burger should give it a try at least once. It's a touchscreen, so you don't need to worry about language barriers.

The menus are very small almost like children’s menus. When I wanted to use the toilet I was told I had to pay 1 euro. Charging customers for the toilet is ridiculous. I tried to pay with my bank card but it gave an error however I had just paid for my order with the same card without any issue.

I like visiting different McDonald's in other cities; maybe it's the culture, but this one was very limited. There were hardly any cheeseburgers; they weren't included, and you couldn't add them. The McFlurries came with one sauce and one topping, and you couldn't choose anything specific. Again, maybe it's the culture; it was different from others I've been to, but I was disappointed. Expensive food for nothing.

One of the only McDonald’s that does gluten free (despite other places saying they do). The burger needs to be personalised to add the bun as it’s not all separate. Bun is actually decent and good quality.

Furthermore, the products I received were cold and of subpar quality. Even when I received replacement dishes, such as fries or other items, the quality remained subpar. The fries and hamburgers were cold, and even the coffee did not meet the standard one would expect from your location. This situation not only made the experience unpleasant and unsatisfactory but could legally be considered a breach of the agreed-upon service.
