Ordered coffee on self service screen which I then had to ask them to make at the counter, they then attempted to extort me out of €1 to use the toilet!

As an Italian, I can't tolerate having to pay 50 cents to go to the bathroom even though I've consumed something. Sometimes we complain about our country, but there are many more backward countries; they'd shut it down here.

The staff is very rude, definitely do not come here!.

I ordered a surprise menu and when I pointed out that it was missing they told me that it was there even if it wasn't true.

It's a shame I can't give half a star, otherwise I definitely would. I ordered two cheeseburgers, and the receipt machine wasn't working. I told the manager what I was ordering, and he said, "I'll do it for you." Five minutes later, I returned, and the manager said it wasn't my order. He was an Eritrean black man with short, curly hair. The manager refused to serve me any food. I can send him the receipt. I expect compensation; this is unacceptable!

I was trying to enjoy the stale cheeseburger they served me at the “restaurant” when the manager yelled at me and said no immigrants in my store. I will not be coming back because of bad food quality and racism

One girl works great, we were in the mc at night, she helps with all the processes, with packaging and distribution and at the cash register and makes drinks and pours potatoes

I tried the Big Arch, which was super delicious and fresh! The order was taken quickly, and there was plenty of seating. The restaurant was clean.

Gotta be the slowest McDonald’s in the country. I came here for a McMuffin on 05/10/25 and waited over 20 minutes for a rubbery and stone cold hockey puck. The staff were just chatting amongst themselves and not really attending to orders or the group of waiting customers. My sandwich had been sat on the side for a long while before they bagged it and gave it to me. Really annoying way to start the day.

The truth is, it was quite unfortunate that after paying more than €36 for the meal, they wanted to charge me for using the bathroom. SHAMEFUL. I see logic in charging those who don't consume anything. But for a customer. With your receipt in hand and nothing at all. VERY, VERY LAMENTABLE.

After spending €60 on food, they wanted to charge us €1 to use the bathroom.

Tragedy, I was in the toilet and there was an incredible stench there, it wouldn't be strange, of course, no one is spraying flowers, but when I saw human excrement scattered on the sink, it's a tragedy, where these people care about hygiene.

Just grab a quick bite and go. No atmosphere, no motivated staff.

Unbelievable! The food tasted average and although we left money with 4 people, we had to pay extra for the toilet. The tables and chairs were incredibly dirty too. I don't know what the staff here get paid for :) I've never seen anything like this, it was my first and last time here.

I’ve been coming to this McDonald’s every night after 1 AM for many months now, and I can confidently say it’s become a part of my nightly routine — and even more, a small piece of home. The night manager (tall blonde guy)is one of the kindest, most generous people I’ve ever met. Always welcoming, always with a good attitude , always human. The whole night crew deserves praise: they’re consistently respectful, polite, and smiling — even at 2:30 in the morning. That’s not easy, and it doesn’t go unnoticed. People often say McDonald’s is a cold, impersonal place — but that’s not true. When it’s run by the right people, it becomes warm, familiar, and comforting. This team proves that night after night. Thank you for being there for us — the workers of the Amsterdam night — serving something hot, with a side of kindness, when the city is asleep. Respect to all of you. 🙏🍟

Dirty. Smells bad and there's trash everywhere

Gave food in a bag(we were dining in) no napkins etc. even if you are a customer you have to pay 70 cents for the dirtiest toilet I have seen ever. No receipt given for the toilet: WE DON‘T GIVE RECEIPTS

I ordered a Maccrispy and a mini Wrap and it took 15 minutes, the kitchen man was left alone and no one helped him, It was filled with orders with 3 pending and no one came to help him, I placed my order late, the girl looked at me with disgust and didn't even say my number, very bad service and I had pending orders in the kitchen (jewelry) The kitchen staff had jewelry in their ears, no hairnets. The order was white with a button-down shirt.

A chaotic McDonald's in a busy part of Amsterdam. Clean toilets are available for half a euro. The Quarter-Pounder With Cheese is no longer called the Royale with Cheese.

I wanted to use the toilet and there was a commotion when I placed my money into the machine. Then there's this crazy African lady berating another person and then me for putting 20 cents. I was like, wait!!! I have money and looking for some coins in my bag. I took the 20 cents and went away. Hideous experience. Crazy lady.

First time I’ve ever had to throw out the fries from my order. Completely soggy and oily.

Pick up order here. They forgot an item from my order. I was pissed at first. Tried to call but the phone service was closed at the time. So, I went back. I was more helpless and tired and hopefully the employees were really nice. They gave me my item and change what was cold for me to go back home 👍

I've never seen it before in such a popular place dirty like this today. I went to buy some sweet today, but I decided to turn back from the entrance because I saw everywhere garbage on the floors and tables. (see the pictures) Honestly it was disgusting for me.

McDonald's is large and well-appointed. There aren't many people in general, so there's plenty of space.

BidMac was a surprise because when we opened the box, a salad fell out. And it wasn't that big. The French fries were half on the tray. The toilet is paid, and only cash, there was no paper or hand soap

The worst Mac. They don't keep track of what they put in the order, they gave my order to another person. At first they wanted to give me only coffee, when I asked where my dessert was, they said they didn't have anything and they didn't care that I had already paid. After which they finally found a dessert.

Food is very good, but it’s not very clean and also the atmosphere feels a bit sterile.

Very unfriendly staff. I only got the food after waiting 40 minutes like sardines in a can. Staff speaks poor English and Dutch. When ordering at the order post, we didn't get a receipt and there was no employee who could speak to us. In short: not recommended. Edit: After writing this review, I found out that you also had to pay 50 cents for the toilets. In itself a bit special if you consider that we ate for about €20,-. The toilets were also very dirty for the fact that you had to pay for them

If I could put -5 I would do 0 service and the burgers were disgusting.

Ordered fries and a milkshake to go. Fries cold, wilted, super salty and had clearly been there for a while. Milkshake spoiled, felt lukewarm and when I took a sip I had a mouth full of a pungent sour shake. Just got an old shake that wasn't made by anyone else. Disgusting and a waste of my money.

Get gluten-free burgers. Recommended for celiac disease. We had no complaints after eating.

But in this Amsterdam branch, I got more sociology than sodium. Let’s start with the lighting: imagine a dentist’s office - if the dentist hated joy. My order? Marked "for here", delivered in the full heartbreak of disposable packaging. When I asked at the counter, the staff didn’t answer. I did. Silently. To myself. I had the most standard of standard orders, and yet somehow - like the chosen one of single-use chaos - I was the only person blessed with a Pfand cup. Naturally, I reclaimed my deposit like it was a moral victory. Taste-wise? Let’s just say: if blandness were a crime, this place would be serving a life sentence. Verdict? Do not pass go. Do not collect fries. Do not set foot in here unless you’re researching despair for a novel.

The place is decent, people clean often. If you need a quick bite, or take out. I could recommend it, but for anything else I would look elsewhere..

A nice chilled place down an alley. Service was fast and staff friendly. The lady made the wrong coffee and came over before I had taken a sip, apologised and made me another within 2 mins. That's great service in my book. :0)

If you want to eat on site: you will not receive your order on a tray but wrapped in a bag. The result is dirty tables, most customers want to eat in the restaurant, and full waste bins. The worst branch of McDonald's!

African Rooibos is delicious I recommend all of the Tender Nuggets, but there were a lot of strange people coming and going. The store is clean and constantly being cleaned. When ordering, if you are asked to enter a table number, press any button and pay attention to the order number on the receipt, and the staff will call that number directly.
