Way too expensive we were 8 people and everything was cold and completely overcooked and just bad

AVOID AT ALL COSTS - this place is so underhand I am surprised they are still open! THE PRICES THEY DISPLAY ARE NOT WHAT THEY CHARGE! They charge you to put your burger in a bap - they charge you for adding ketchup!! And all without saying a word! Food was average at best - but business tactics are in another level! EAT ELSEWHERE!

SCAM! Already too expensive for what you get, but then they actually charged us more than the prices on the menu. WATCH OUT!

Try asking him for the bill and he will ignore you or dismiss you. The bill is as if you were in Egypt, not Amsterdam. He adds things to the bill without telling you.

The interior space is tiny and there is barely enough room to move between the tables. The waiter offered us a multitude of things, such as sauces and condiments that we understood were complimentary. After some insistence, we accepted and in the end we were charged and felt cheated. The burger was VERY mediocre.

Everything costs extra money, there are no drinks on the menu, prices are unnecessarily expensive and go up with extras. It's not worth it.

An absolute scam and a tourist trap, both in terms of price and food: - The waiters are almost aggressive in getting you in; - The menus are deliberately confusing to make you pay as much extra as possible and the waiters say nothing, taking advantage of the fact that you are foreigners; Example: We ask for a menu, therefore limit the price and we are served as if we had taken the personalized burger, therefore much more expensive. - The staff is aggressive, and puts pressure on you to pay as soon as they sense that you want an explanation about the price; - The receipt is hidden on purpose after payment to avoid checking what was paid (and yet it is not for lack of asking); - The meat is extremely dry, especially for the price, and don't believe them when they tell you that these are Amsterdam prices, you can find better and cheaper elsewhere; The only positive point of this meal was introducing us to the truffle mayonnaise. Conclusion: Avoid.

Had an amazing breakfast at OMG Burger! The food was delicious, especially the Americano coffee. The staff was super friendly and the service was excellent. Highly recommend

BE CAREFUL! The prices on the menu are not right AT ALL, they sell the meno and when you are about to pay they charge you extra for everything, they will make your food with the most expensive bread without asking you just to charge you, they took 5€ for a water and 10€ for a shitty tiny hot dog… DONT EVER COME HERE

Tourist Scam. Service offers you brioche Bun and dips without telling that it costs extra while you ordering a Menu. Lipton Ice Tea 330ml costs 5,20€ and the Burger is also overpriced.

Burgers would be perfect in price as they are on the board and would also have earned 4 stars, also because the butcher meat comes fresh from the butcher. But as a tourist you buy a menu and have to pay for drinks (from €4.55), fries (from €3) and sauce (ketchup for the fries €5) yourself, which was nowhere on the menu. You are quickly ripped off and only when spoken to directly do they reveal that the only thing on the menu that costs €3 extra is the burger.

Wir habe uns spontan zum Frühstück hier entschieden und waren positiv überrascht. Es war wirklich sehr gut! Wir hatten ein Croissant, ein English Breakfast und ein Veganes Frühstück und jeder war mit seinem Essen sehr zufrieden.

Absolutely avoid!!! I'll give you the billing receipt, look at it: the burger I said only one at the price of €46.20, no you're not dreaming. Just incredible, when you ask the staff of the establishment they tell you that these are the prices in Amsterdam, in all cases these are not the prices displayed on the menu. Well received and not bad food But no qualms about SCAMming us. 82 euros 3 Burgers and 3 Sodas! Burger bun costs money! At 20 euros the Burger….The sauce pays for the coke 5 euros plus 9% tip without asking us… The welcome we have been given is unfortunately used to deceive us.

This place is amazing place for breakfast and brunch. Tried their oriental and english breakfast and it was amazing. The staff is super nice and this is best if you have prefernce for halal. I felt like the taste is super, great value for money and cozy. I sat outside but the heating made it comfortable.

Overpriced. Not good at all. The service just horrible. They ignored milk allergy, and might have killed my friend. Also they made plenty of mistakes with the order and charge us for much more, and they didn’t listen to our complaints and we just paid because the atmosphere became unpleasant.

Wonderful breakfast! The first morning I was running to a meeting and they made me a bacon and egg sandwich to go..and it was wonderful! So wonderful that I came back the next morning and had a “real” sit down breakfast before catching the train back to Paris (it’s about 6 minutes walking from the station). Fresh and hot and tasty, served quickly with a smile..and they insisted on giving me a bottle of water for the train! Wonderful place. Highly recommend.

Enjoy sitting outside. Very nice man who helped us. Price quality was a bit lower. And the person paying tried to get some change. But it is certainly chill for your burger after going out

OMG! This is the worst place for a burger. There's no atmosphere. The fries were oily and too salty. When asked to change, they acted unfriendly. Just pay more and go somewhere else. It's not worth it.

Die Burger waren echt lecker. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, unaufdringlich und hilfsbereit. Pommes sind gut und die Saucen dazu passend.

Fantastic burger, on the pricier side but we'll worth it. OMG burger looks exactly like it does on the pictures, color me impressed. Servers were very attentive and polite but we're definitely playing the incremental upcharge game to squeeze a little more out of you. That being said, it wasn't like anything was hidden or extra things were added to the bill. Seating was very cozy.

If you want to be scammed come to this place. On the menu there are burgers assembled with a set price. But BE CAREFUL, they charge you for the bread separately (choosing the most expensive one. At least ask me which one I want), the sauces separately too, they needed to charge me extra for each ingredient that appeared in the name of the burger. This is the absolute worst burger you can have in Central Amsterdam - no spices, old veggies, bland meat. AMERICAN TOURIST TRAP! Way too expensive and the staff is not welcoming / friendly. Bad fast food at restaurant prices. DO NOT GO. e.g., my girlfriend tried to switch from brioche bun to sesame seeds and they refused because she has just paid. There was absolutely no queue and they are the same price. Also, the burgers were so boring bland and tasteless that we could not finish them... we had to disappointingly throw away food. The issue of bad American food in the cities is getting out of control and the fact that this disgrace is still surviving is an example of that.

Don’t bother with this one. I never write a review for anything but went into the extend to make an account just to write one. 30 minutes after ordering food and drink no one knows what I was having or anything. When I eventually got my drink another 20 minutes passed to get my food. When it arrived it was cold and had to go look for cutlery. After first bite the food was terrible not cooked properly and just disgusting. Ended up leaving on the spot. My by far worst experience ever. I never complain or bother with reviews but hopefully it will save you some time and money

Not nice at all!!! Waited over 40 minutes for food too arrive then was told after 40 minutes that something with the order was wrong. I ordered the classic burger which was cheese lettuce, tomato and pickle but when the burger arrived it had a sauce on that wasn’t shown on the menu. When we went to pay we got charged for a brioche deluxe on both burgers which is also not advertised be aware of this place as they are adding extras without you knowing the family next to us also got burgers and they came red inside ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING!!!

I visited Oh My God Burger in Amsterdam for breakfast and had the full English (maybe a burger would have been better). It was okay—not the best, but also not the worst. My friend had a similar experience with his meal. The hot chocolate was mostly bubbles and lacked much liquid, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, it was fine, but I probably wouldn’t return.

Absolut tourist trap. A simple small can of cola is 4,50. A cappuccino is not drinkable, for 6 Euro. Unfriendly and just really bad. Don't fall for it

Chanced upon this lovely place during our city walk. Its just beside our hotel too! Their menu attracted our attention. Very inviting, lovely and friendly staffs! Had the Avocado Smash toast and English breakfast. Delicious and fresh ingredients. Best thing is, this place is halal! Recommended!

The prices that will later appear on the receipt are not at all visible in advance. There are no extra prices on the menu for, for example, the type of burger buns, nor are the waiters pointing this out. Impudence in my opinion! The food was delicious and the atmosphere is very nice, but the view of the receipt at the end ruins everything. Because it's supposed to be a menu price, you pay almost €2 more per burger for brioche buns and the sauces (ketchup/mayo) are also charged extra. This MUST be communicated to the customer in advance or be on the menu. We didn't even order drinks and it still cost almost €50 for two people. Sorry, but we won't come again.

We ate one of the recommended hamburgers and one hamburger with halloumi cheese and avocado which was more than delicious. The chips are really tasty and they are served with a delicious joppi sauce. Wat een ontzettend vervelend personeel! Een meisje in de bediening dat nauwelijks te verstaan is en die alleen maar ontevreden met een arrogant lang gezicht rond loopt. Toen ons eten geserveerd werd moesten eigenlijk meteen lachen. Een Egg Benedict met hard gekookte eieren en ham die echt niet te eten was. De hamburger was zo ver door gebakken dat ook daar niet door te komen was. Achteraf stond op de rekening €1,75 voor een toefje cocktailsaus en €0,95 voor het broodje bij de burger. Mensen, ga hier nooit eten!!!!!

Pros: great tasting food and warm greetings Cons: sneaky upcharges and pricier than an across-the-street competitor Giving 3 stars was a TOUGH choice. The food is AMAZING! But after receipt-checking and trying a competitor (Oh My Buns), my initial 5-stars fell a bit from grace. Comparison Price: OMG was 24€ for a burger with fries and sauce on the side to dip. Oh My Buns was 20€ for the same size burger and fries PLUS a soda and ketchup/mayo (free). OMG has an amazing burger, and the fries are *chef's kiss*. The burger is thick and the sauce is plentiful. We were literally groaning eating this feast our first night here. By the end of our trip, we tried the Deluxe, VIP, and The Smokey. There is an up charge to get ketchup or additional condiments for your fries which is normal in Amsterdam (ketchup was 1,50€ and mayo was 1,75€ for a teeny cup. We were also up charged 1€ for a bun that really should have come with the hamburger -this is where sneaky up-charges come in. Other reviewers noted being uncharged even more for said bun. A can of pop is 4€ (keep your peepers peeled, we've found them at other restaurants for 1€ a can). I was curious to compare burgers and tried Oh My Buns. We tried the triple fatty meal. The burger here consisted of three smash patties instead of one large burger. The meat had great flavor. I do wish it had had a little more sauce. The fries were not as good as OMG's -but I like that the meal included a pop and the dipping sauces were free. Final conclusion: we did like the flavor of OMG a bit better for both the fries and burgers. This said, there was a 5€ difference in price -Oh My Buns was cheaper and the soda & sauces were free. You can choose to get just the burger and fries from Oh My Bun and it would be 8€ cheaper (if you’re comparing burger and fries prices only). 2,50€ soda at Oh My Bun's; 4€ soda at OMG. So it's a toss up. I would definitely go to both places again. Side note; you do get a few more fries at OMG with takeaway which is awesome. I recommend OMG a smidge more on flavor even through I really like the smash patties at Oh My Bund -but the sneaky bun up charge at OMG really bothers me. It seems opportunistic and taking advantage of tourists. Versus Oh My Bun who had no sneaky up charges and instead offers free fry condiments. I’d prob more consistently visit Oh My Buns for the price -but you should also really try OMG.

Scammers!! Laughing and waving at you for being so stupid as to fall for this. If you want an OMG experience you should definitely come here! Life is expensive, but 5 euros for a can of ice tea, 4.50 for a small piece of avocado and 3.50 for a piece of grilled champion is really crazy. Menu is very misleading, be careful, everyone who eats there is busier checking the receipt than eating.

One of the worst beef burgers I’ve ever had. Lack of taste and the over salted fries left me feeling unwell (but not vomiting) and the price was obscene. 45eur for what was an ok chicken burger with fries, a 200g cheeseburger and fries and two Coke Zero. I paid it with a smile because I was happy to never go back again. The chef and the server handle the food without gloves while shaking the hand of their friend over the counter. Avoid this place, even though the staff are very friendly and the toilets great, they’ll rip you off big time.
