You have to pay extra to use the bathroom, even if you've had breakfast and lunch there... Outrageous! And it's dirty to boot...

The restrooms are paid, even for visitors, and of course, you can’t wash your hands for free either. The toilets are fairly clean, I always see them being cleaned. However, the stalls are extremely small. There are no shelves for your belongings, nor is there a hook on the door. If you're wearing a coat, you simply won’t be able to turn around in there.

Toilet costs 1 eur but they don't event hot water... pathetic !

Someone I didn't know picked up my food; it was simply handed to me. When I later asked if my food was still coming, the manager got angry and threatened to call the police and tell me to leave NOW or I'd be banned from the store. The other employees were also very unfriendly, and the whole atmosphere was very hostile. Poor staff. Over €16 worth of food...

Funny people... to wash your hands before eating, you have to pay €1 to enter the restroom. Even if you order.

This thing made me nauseous. I don't know if it's always this bad or if there was something wrong with what they served me. I told the staff without even asking, they just gave me a blank stare and that was it. The rest of the food was just okay.

If I could, I'd give them zero stars. I ordered a hot chocolate, a McFlurry, and a cookie. After 5 minutes, it was placed with the other order, and after waiting another 15 minutes, I walked to the counter myself. I got a coffee instead of hot chocolate, and it wasn't even warm anymore. The ice cream had completely melted. I got the wrong cookie. I went back, was laughed at in my face, but with a lot of effort, I got a new hot chocolate and cookie. DO NOT EAT HERE!

It stinks terribly in here. That makes the food here disgusting. The counter was also dirty, and the staff wasn't very friendly. The food was fine, though!

My experience was extremely bad. Some people have to pay to use the restroom, while others don't, even though they're both restaurant customers. They only charge if they feel like it. They're willing to charge some customers, while others aren't. I find it truly outrageous.

Usual Macdonald's food. Had lots of seating options inside, it was clean and comfortable. 1 euro to use the toilet.

This is just like any other McDonald's but it happens to be in Amsterdam. The people behind the counter speak more than one language. They are also not friendly at all. They just call your order and give you the food. The manager is not very nice with his staff. Seems very rough when he talks to them. There is no play area but families with kids come and spend good money for family meals. I have come here twice and always see a person who appears to be a mailman ordering a lot of food. I only get a sandwich and a latte but this man has about 10 sandwiches on his tray and only one drink. That's interesting to me. Anyway this is a nice McDonald's in the center of the city. Near to the tram stops.

Worst McDonalds experience I have ever had. My order was never served, and the manager acted very unprofessionally when I asked for it, and implied that I was attempting to scam the restaurant.

It's just a McDonald's meal – you get what you expect. The downside, however, is that even as a customer, you have to pay €1 to use the restroom. I've never experienced that before, and it's not due to the cleaning effort. They have a dedicated employee who sits at the turnstile and says "Cash or Card" – this employee could be used much better FOR the customer. At least children could use the restroom for free, so it gets an extra star.

Paying for the bathroom even after eating at a restaurant is outrageous, and even worse is doing so thinking it will be clean and not at all...

We had an incredibly bland hamburger. We tried it twice, on different days, and it was still bad. We had the Big Arch and the Double Big Tasty. It was delicious.

They missed half my order, when getting the food you ordered always make sure they actually gave you everything you ordered.

The usual flavours are here, but if you don't live in Amsterdam you'll find something new. I recommend the croquette burger.

A calm, quiet atmosphere. But like all the others around the world, it doesn't change much! It's mostly just a few typical dishes from a particular country that make it onto the menu, but other than that, there's not much to say about the food, service, and atmosphere. But I do recommend it. 😉

No sauce on my burger. Had to pay for the sauce even though I ordered it with... bummer.

They put pickles and mustard on my burger even though I asked not to and they literally locked us inside of the building and we had to leave from the emergency exit

They're very basic McDonald's compared to the Spanish ones. They don't have beer or 000. Services are charged at 1.50.

The sandwiches weren't bad but they don't bring you food and you have to wait to collect it and the bathroom costs €1 per person which I don't agree with.

Perfect McDonald's, but let's not even talk about the toilets, you have to pay even though you eat there, the toilet lady is extremely unpleasant; she gives orders, yells at customers, on the phone and so on.

I'd give it zero stars, but unfortunately, that's not an option. Arrogant, ineffective staff, incredibly slow service, and when you pay for sauce, you're not even allowed to take it with you. The food was cold and not fresh. I ordered a caramel iced coffee: it was completely melted, no whipped cream, and no caramel. The restaurant isn't clean and smells of salami and feces. I'll never come back.

For toilet you have to pay €1, even you have been a paying guest in the restaurant

It was terrible, first they mixed up the drinks, then they demanded money for the toilet.

We're sticking with McDonald's, there's nothing new under the sun. But the service was fine. No problem. 😁

There's little variety, as it varies from country to country, but here, specifically, there's very little. By the way, if someone recommended the croquette burger, don't try it; it only tastes like processed food and is terrible. There's no table service, and you can't order ice cream from the vending machine. The cleanliness is good.

Arrived at 7am, late opening, no access to the dining room, we had to eat in front of the counter on the ledges, no access to the toilet before a certain time, very unpleasant staff, I do not recommend at all, avoid

I've never seen anything like it! You pay for a meal, but to use the restroom, you have to pay again! Plus, there's no hand washing before the meal, no hygiene!

It's gotten way too expensive. You can't get happy from a Happy Meal these days. I have to admit, though, that the fries and the food are served much warmer these days. That's been different for years.

How can McDonald's not have a changing table to change a baby? The restroom attendant was downright rude. McDonald's isn't child-friendly anymore. They used to have a ball pit, etc. Now, there's nothing at all.

1e ice cream is smooth and quite delicious. There is no free toilet in the restaurant. You have to pay to wash your hands or use the toilet. Completely outrageous after you have already paid for the meal.

food was DIVINE, like 10x better than british maccy Ds - beef felt real and tasty and the accoutrements were better. however some very nasty lady by the toilet (which you had to pay for) was very abrasive with me.

Food was your normal McDonald's, but staff refused to let my girlfriend and I to sit with our friends because it was 15minutes before close. I understand everyone wants to get home, but it was very rude and unreasonable to lock people's friends away.

What I didn't like is that here it's not like in our Latin American countries, here you pay for each tomato sauce, there are no drink refills and you even pay to go to the bathroom.

Very good placed in Amsterdam, we just passed and bought a coke and some nuggets with tbe idea of using the toilet shich are scarced there among other places. Well, we found fair to not just use it without consuming anything....haha...but when using the toilet we realized that you have to pay 0.5euros for a garded 3sqm toilet. 🤣🤣

A basic and efficient McDonald's. The nuggets are cheaper than in France (where it's clearly overpriced), and there's a wider selection of ice creams—especially the pistachio one. McDonald's is still as reliable as ever in Amsterdam.

We came in spontaneously with 2 school classes to eat. Super friendly staff. And it was no problem at all..

The person working the bathroom is quite unpleasant and started yelling at me!! In the middle of the restaurant. I've never seen anything like that before. I tried to pay and touched the machine (with my finger) to pay, but she didn't explain anything to me; she told me not to touch the machine! Then she told me I had to press a button. After that incident, I told my family what had happened, and she continued yelling in the middle of the restaurant. Disgusting.

Charges for restrooms even when you order food

Came here as a group of 6 to have breakfast. The service and rudeness of the staff was probably the worst I have ever seen in a McDonald’s. We asked for a room temperature water which they replied they only do water in the fridge. I think they are thick or stupid as clearly you need to put a bottle in the fridge to get cool. Only one member of staff was welcoming and that was the cleaner. Hence why I gave the overall a 1/5. If I could give a 0 for a score this would be the place that deserves it. Very dissatisfied

Food is good enough but this restaurant 'offers' table service but when you do it you are told quite rudely that you can't do that. If you can't offer it that's fine but we should be told before I sit down.

Today I was helped very friendly by a young Dutch employee + the Quater Pounder Spicy 🌶️ was also super fresh!! #StandingOvation

Burgers were basic, but there were a few interesting things about the dining experience: - No fork for salad - Tables were wiped with the same brush as the floors - Toilet fee is 0.50 euros and a member of staff makes sure you paid. You could do business standing in the toilet with a nice local gentleman in a friendly atmosphere

Lady who guards the toilets is the rudest person I have ever met. She was rude and obnoxious to my wife when she tried to take our son to the toilet, bordering refusing to let our three year old use it, because of no baby change facilities even though he is toilet trained. Then when I asked the same lady if I could get a lid for my sons milkshake to take away she broke into a rant about “why did he not drink it” - excuse me. Don’t berate my child, how dare you. Then when I said she did not need to be so rude, she basically screamed at me saying i’m rude! Laughable. You’re trying to shame my son for not drinking his milkshake and i’m the rude one! Get some manners…. And some customer service training! Also ludicrously expensive for a McD!

The bathrooms are very dirty, and it was only 9 a.m. I barely left the bathroom when the staff showed me the way out, and I was still drinking my coffee. I had asked for coffee with milk and they gave me only coffee. They're embarrassing.

Ordered here, and I had missing salad... I go back, lucky i kept the initial recipit so i could get it... They took the recipit and ripped it off saying i can t have it because i might come back and ask for food again... wow.....Then I realized no fork... go back again took fork.... As a bonus instead of big Lipton the glass was big and the juice didn't even have the medium size inside.... They are just rude and unproffessional...

Order everything via touch screen, wait until your number is answered, you pay and can go to the back to eat, the area where you can eat was filthy and a fat black lady sitting there does not clean The milkshake and soft ice cream are always delicious

Classic fast food from the well-known chain, with the possibility of ordering through the large displays at the entrance and then picking up the food personally or receiving it at the table. We stopped to grab a quick sandwich, thus avoiding eating ambiguous things in restaurants in the city. The place is similar to all the others, it could be dirty given the large influx of people throughout the day. The staff seemed listless, calling the numbers quickly and sometimes incomprehensibly; Unfortunately, not everyone can immediately understand information in a language other than their own.
