Clean McDonald's. The food is served quickly. And it's hot, too.

Ice in the cola I didn't want. Fries that weren't warm again. So I rewarded myself with chicken nuggets. These weren't hot either.... Next time I'll go back to Assen Noord, hoping it's hot there.

Delicious food, very friendly service. The speed was okay. The interior is my favorite. I felt comfortable in the restaurant.

It's a Macdonald. Both resturant and drive through. Small play area outside for the kids. Food was good as one would expect. Facilities are clean, good parking and a big charging and fueling station near by (not sure if it is only for trucks but it had every fuel imaginable!) I digress, if you want a Macdonald, I can recommend. :-)

Last night, I got a cup of coffee during my break. I stood at the counter for at least five minutes before the person there finally responded, but what happened next wasn't really appropriate. The person taking orders at the drive-thru then started talking so loudly that everyone could hear his brother complaining. I wouldn't come back because of that, even if it was evening. This was also the last time I'd come here.

A fine McDonald's. It was very busy around 6:00/6:30 PM, though, and they had closed the upstairs. They should have opened it at this time.

Had to wait half an hour for 2 cheeseburgers and everyone was sitting there doing absolutely nothing, then the bag of food broke as well

Another really strange experience here. Every time I think, I'm not going back to this place. You get your food separately. Ordering takes ages, and then everything goes wrong. They give you stupid looks the whole time. Never again.

Nice big parking lot and you can sit upstairs with a view of the A28, TT track exit, food is good and clean toilets. Refueling is also possible at this exit

This is ridiculous: at the first window, someone only spoke English, at the second window, I was greeted with "Howdie!" What's this?! Can't we speak proper Dutch and greet each other normally and politely?

Although they're friendly, things often go wrong. They forget things, and the solution is a coupon you have to spend within two weeks. They also received spicy nuggets instead of regular ones with a Happy Meal without asking. Our little guy wasn't happy about this, which was very sad.

Going to Burger King tastes much better and is cheaper. Cheaper

I've never seen such a filthy McDonald's! Trash cans were overflowing, and the sauce was dripping down the sides. The floor was littered with food scraps. Tables and chairs weren't cleaned. Staff were walking around with their souls under their sleeves. Why not smile at work and be more service-oriented? You get paid as an employee. And you pay almost €50 to eat out with your family. We won't be coming back.

There is a playground for the kids. You don't see that very often anymore.

Picked up food from the drive-thru, had to wait an awfully long time for the driver before me, who had to park in a parking space, so my food was probably already ready and therefore cold! The fries were even saltier now; I didn't think that was possible, but they were soggy. I had a stomach ache all night. No more McDonald's for me for a while 😏

Great, but quite crowded due to the truck meeting

The food was good, but The tables were dirty. And the restroom was also filthy, but the staff can't do much about that; it's largely the responsibility of the people who use it.

Some of the nuggets were a bit limp, but otherwise, it was fine! It did take a while to receive my food.

I understand all the negative reviews. How can they have so few people on duty when there's a huge event at the circuit? Surely they'll come to McDonald's? After waiting 45 minutes for one cappuccino and two mac muffins, I finally got my money back. A tip for management: appoint a team leader who understands that small orders need to be processed quickly to prevent unnecessary order volume.

If you have plenty of time and patience, you can eat here. Today we tried it despite the bad reviews. If only we had listened to the reviews. We waited an hour for breakfast. And it's dirty inside and out. We definitely won't be back.

Went here today and what an absolute hole. Ordered food at 1044am finally got it approx 1134 after having a few words with one particular employee who told me that the food taking long was that’s there only 3 people working and it wasn’t he’s problem it’s my problem and told me to keep calm and after arguing with him two of his colleagues pulled him away. They don’t have a system in there they was calling out order numbers after my one and not even in numbered order if I could give no stars I would

Great place, we had already been to the neighbor, Burger King, but we won't be going there again because of the strange exchange thing with deposit cups, very complicated and afterwards you read that you could have just returned them at the counter, very convenient, no, we won't be going to BK anymore, McDonalds is just the best as usual👍👍👍

For the first time in 10 years a nice warm burger at a McDonald's and a very polite manager.

Big Mac with all the trimmings. Brand new. I don't understand how that can work out for the few customers who come there. There's also a Mac 7km away. They're going a bit overboard in my opinion.

I'll skip McDonalds for now. Ordered there at about 1630. The gentleman who prepared my food kept touching his nose/chin. Not very tasty. I also had to wait a very long time while my food was already ready at the counter.

We've had several times now that when you order a caramel latte macchiato.. the caramel is forgotten?! Today they actually forgot to put the coffee in it!

Went here for the first time last night around 11:30 PM. Yes the mac. Nothing special. But the fries were not warm and limp, there was too little in the medium. Quality can be much better.

It took a very long time before the order was ready, it was already reported ready on the plate and the staff was doing nothing so I just asked where the food was. Pistachio ice cream is definitely not recommended. Toilets are clean.

Ate here for the first time, but also the last time Ordered a chicken salad and small fries with mayonnaise There were approximately 6 people eating, but it still took 25 minutes before it was delivered. No fork , ooh do you want a fork ? Yes please, it is so easy to eat your lettuce. The fries were cold, back to the counter. Oh, annoying, new fries. When I came back to the table and opened the box with salad, the chicken had flown away (i.e. forgotten) and I was given a bowl of chicken. No success

Was here for the first time yesterday evening. Normally everything is freshly prepared at the Mac. Unfortunately, they don't have that at this branch. It was spot on food, but the fries were limp and lukewarm at most. That was also the case with the cheeseburger. Since I was hungry and short on time, I only partially ate it and left. But now I understand why it is so quiet there. This was once and no more!! A waste of 12 euros, but a good lesson. I would advise you to skip this Mac!!!

Fast food? Make that Slow Food. Wait 5 minutes... Boy, boy.

The MacDonalds concept is also applicable here. The food is good. The personnel is friendly. Kids were looking forward to their Minecraft toy, unfortunately there was just a general MacDonalds toy in the happy meal. The location still needs some landscaping since the weeds are close to two meters tall. Overall this location is living up to the MacDonalds standard

Great location. However, due to the crowds I had to wait +- 18m for my food (I had ordered via the kiosk). The food itself was decent and the location was clean.

Excellent roadside restaurant, it is often well attended. They are well equipped and serve quickly.

I think they should read the opening hours again, just went to the drive at 00.00 knowing that it is open until 01.00. Waited a long time and no answer at the pole, drove on, I saw 2 staff walking but did not see me or pretended to, did not walk at the end of the ride.

No hairnet or gloves were used, everyone just touched your things with their bare hands. Also the boy who made the burger dropped about 10, not very hygienic. It also took a really long time before we got the food. Shame

MacDonald's in Nederland is the best from my taste and opinion.

Just went through the drive. There was no one in front or behind me, but it all took a very long time. Then I get home and half of my order has been forgotten... ridiculous for that money and the fact that it was anything but busy.

Since I live nearby, I come here regularly. But next time I will definitely go to the North location. Always a long wait at the MC Drive. Not due to a queue outside, but simply to your order (+10 minutes). And then the order is often not processed properly. I'm done with this location...

Nice Mac and very nice staff but the wait takes a very long time.

On the morning of the auto madness event at the adjacent TT circuit, very few staff but still helped reasonably quickly. 5 stars for the employee present 1 for the manager who should have employed more staff.

Great tasting restaurant, Usually pretty quick in bringing your order. The staff is also pretty friendly. I recommend.

On Friday it has already gone wrong three times that the order is incorrect, wrong products in the bag or the product is not present at all.

How is it possible that we have to speak English in Assen because 50% of the staff here is foreign and does not speak Dutch? This just doesn't make sense, hire more mature staff, some toddlers can't even greet properly...

There is always room, never too busy. Unless there is something to do on the TT circuit, then it is better to avoid this branch due to crowds.

Fine, just like any MacDonald. Fries and McFlurry. Only the prices!! Increasingly expensive, not normal.

The big advantage of this McDonald's is that it is usually quiet. (But not around 5-8am).

Arrived at 23:30 and doors were closed and order machines offlune, drive-thru only, not useful to be showing as open for HGV drivers

Come here more often, but from now on I am convinced that they do not know what the concept of “fast food” is. I've been here at least 5 times and every time I have to wait at least 15 minutes in the drive for my food only to find out that you have cold fries. I recommend going to the Mac in Assen Noord, because they know how to handle things.

Twice a cold burger and then a discussion about the worst MAC restaurant I have ever eaten at. So not worth mentioning

This was really the last time for us. Something goes wrong every time at this branch. From wrong orders and missing products to drinks without ice. Last night three hours before closing time no more ice cream/milkshakes were available because "the machine is cleaning". When asked whether they are actually open until 1:00 am, the answer was "you wait 15 minutes you get ice cream". No, thanks. From now on we will drive to Groningen.

After a long day on the way home I thought I would get something to eat at McDonalds. The order to pick up was ready, but a milkshake was not included, but nothing was said about it, so I asked about it myself, the machine was supposedly broken, or I wanted something else to drink. Indicated that I would rather have my money back, because I chose a milkshake and not another drink that is also much cheaper. They were going to get a manager but he never came and in the meantime my food was getting cold. Suddenly the machine worked and I got my milkshake. I was told that I had to wait so long that my food was cold. That was my own fault because I could have accepted another drink (but just paid for an expensive milkshake). More people came who simply did not get a milkshake without any comment from the staff. In other words, making people pay for an expensive milkshake but knowingly just not giving it and not saying anything about it, they are scammers!!!! Never again this McDonalds for me!

15 minutes there, 15 minutes back. At home, 2x 9 chicken nuggets are not available. Can't be reached by phone, so back there again. No apologies or anything extra, only got the 2 x 9 chicken nuggets. Back home, my own burger was cold and I had to spend an hour traveling to McDonald's. All in all a disappointing experience, especially when I was hungry. Next time Burger King.
