Typical McDonald's. Just as you expect. The parking lot is not a carpool lot, even though it does show up on Google Maps when you enter it.

From the outside, it looks like a standard McDonald's. But the hassle starts with the crappy order boards that never work. To click on a hamburger, you have to slam that thing really hard, and then the screen acts like I'm the problem. Then you sit down, look at the table, and it looks like a group of baboons have been eating there; everything is covered in food and sauce, even on the benches. The food was absolutely inedible; the fries were cold, the chicken nuggets cold, and the hamburgers looked and tasted like flattened shoe soles. Outside, the tables weren't any better, plus there are all kinds of annoying insects like wasps. Also, the kids' playground is right next to the dining area, so you eat amidst a hell of a racket. Otherwise, the staff was friendly, and we had a fine meal.

How hard can it be to put 9 chicken nuggets in a box? Not 7, but 9. During the drive-thru, I always check the food bag to see if everything is in it. From now on, I'm going to open the box of nuggets too to see if it's right. Just count them one by one then, eh. Maybe give the fries a bit more too. As it should be.

We had a great time, we were served quickly and our food was delicious. And it was very inexpensive.

The dirtiest McDonald's I have ever been to. Not a single table was clean, and even asking an employee didn't result in a clean table. Not a host or hostess in sight. The burgers were so poorly topped that most of the toppings were loose in the box. The fries were hot, though.

What an incredibly filthy McDonald's. We actually had to walk around looking for a reasonably suitable table amidst the dirty tables and trash that was literally EVERYWHERE on the floor and/or tables. The food itself was otherwise quite good, but the burgers were assembled in a hurry, everything was mixed up and crooked. Unfortunately, they also forgot the fries sauce. And there was no salt on my fries.

The cheese wasn't melted and I got a terrible stomach ache. In short, KFC is better.

Mc Nuggets tasty as always, a Mc Shake is a must, but two drive-in lines and a long wait is a real bummer.

We like to stop here for a short break when we drive to the Netherlands. Good parking, clean restrooms, and very friendly staff. The food is typical McDonald's, of course, but the cappuccino is delicious.

They put an EMPTY toy box with the Happy Meal, and you can't call them either.

There's always something missing from takeout. It's best to check before you leave.

Really geared towards digital ordering. I stood waiting at the order counter for about 5 minutes while there was no one in front of me in the "line." You get stared at like a zombie by young employees, but no one responded. At the very end, I called out to see if anyone could help, to which I got the answer: someone will be right there! That while 5 employees were standing there watching... I kept track: after 7 minutes my order was taken—a cappuccino and a hot chocolate—and you get a number to put on the table. It took exactly 6 minutes to prepare this "big" order. Mind you: there were hardly any customers. Fortunately, we had all the time in the world...

They just gave me dry lettuce. If you offer a salad, at least put some dressing with it.

My husband thought he was getting a delicious breakfast and ordered a mac muffin. He asked the female manager if he could have extra bacon on it because he doesn't like cheese. He also ordered one without cheese. And for me and my son, a muffin with bacon. "No, we don't do extra bacon," said the unfriendly manager. When he got home, his had cheese on it and ours was without bacon! Truly scandalous. We are never going there again!

The friendliest McDonald's staff I have ever encountered. They take the trays from you and came by to let us sample a new dish. Clean tables, fast service.

Probably the worst McDonald’s in the Netherlands. This branch cannot handle the crowds at all, and you can tell by everything. The staff appear uninterested and unfriendly, while the entire place is chaotic and poorly organized. The order terminals didn't even work properly: no receipts came out, causing customers to lose their order numbers and creating complete confusion. Subsequently, I had to wait over 45 minutes for a simple menu. When I finally received it, the food was lukewarm instead of hot, and I was also given the wrong soft drink (Cola instead of Fanta). Additionally, the tables were dirty and hardly any cleaning was done. The whole experience felt messy, stressful, and absolutely not what you should expect from a McDonald’s. I won't be coming back here anytime soon.

The food was lukewarm, the order was incorrect, and we received different items than ordered. The kids had ordered cherry tomatoes but received apples. The tomatoes were out of stock, but this was not communicated upon delivery of the order.

The cashier was incredibly rude and unpleasant. Honestly, I've eaten there several times, and the employee is so unfriendly; that's just unacceptable.

We went through the drive-thru; basically everything was fine except for the lady who slammed the card machine against the car. When we asked if she wouldn't mind not holding it against the car, we got a whack. The mark was visible on the car, but fortunately no damage.

What a greasy mess! Dirt everywhere on tables and benches, mayonnaise on them, etc. They really should pay more attention to hygiene and clean the tables. The trash cans are overflowing.

Hangout for noisy, sleazy youngsters

Quality dropped a lot. Service was great, the gentleman who came to our table was very polite. The food was terrible. My burger looked like a failed project. Sauce was dripping, too much lettuce, beef patty was cold. It was Just tastless. This was below McDonalds quality. The manager should pay more attention to the staff, food quality and the overall cleanliness of the restaurant. I will not not visit this location again. There are better options in Venlo.

We were waiting for the order almost 30 minutes and it’s not even full of people in here. This is something i would expect in high quality restaurant not in a fast-food. We also found out that order was not in the system. In total the service was really bad. Not satisfied and also not the first time something like this happened to me.

Genuinely one of the best McDonald's I've had, based on how "fresh" everything was. You can tell this at McDonald's by how hot, crispy, and salty the fries are.

Order 20 chicken nuggets with 7 sauces — I don't get any sauce, and the nuggets are cold. When I call, a stubborn employee says, "If you come here, I'll give you the sauces, but I can't do anything about the chicken nuggets." Seriously? I'm paying for cold nuggets and then have to drive myself to get the sauce? No apology, no solution, zero service. What a disgrace.

The experience was incredible. I had a really great time there. However, I have to deduct points for the overall experience. While the portion of mayo was huge, I had to pay extra for it in the meal deal—and I emphasize, in the meal deal. THAT'S UNACCEPTABLE! Also, the gaming area was out of order. Nevertheless, a good fast-food restaurant.

I can't say much positive about this McDonald's! None of the tables were clean, and the floor was filthy, making your shoes stick. The fries were cold, and both burgers were sloppily prepared! And to think there was nothing to do.

Well, the fries were lukewarm, and so was the Big Mac. They forgot mayonnaise twice and the napkins. They forgot salt, which I'd asked for extra. The bag wasn't neatly folded shut like they normally do, but twisted shut. I'm always polite and tip.

A 3.7 rating is too low for this Mac, so five stars to raise the average. I've been here a few times now, and the restaurant is spotlessly clean (which is a real plus considering how some customers leave their things behind), the staff is friendly, and the food is ready quickly. This is a great Mac. If you want a comparison of what a bad Mac looks like, try nearby Kaldenkirchen...

I had a quick bite here on the way back from Maastricht. We shouldn't expect great food here, of course, but this location is truly hopeless. First of all, my order was wrong. I ordered several things without anything else, but they were still on my food. Besides that, everything was either cold or too tough to eat. When I walked upstairs to the restroom, I saw three employees leaning against the wall. The restroom hadn't been cleaned, and there was no toilet paper in the holders (you'd think one of the three would have time for that). I walked over to the three disinterested employees to ask if I could get some toilet paper (if you have to, you have to). After a short wait, I was handed a toilet roll in the middle of the store. So I could easily replace the toilet roll myself. This allowed the young man to happily go back to his position against the wall. The conclusion is that the food was terrible and subpar. And the employees are too indifferent to lift a finger. I think it's the worst Mac I've ever been to

Closed earlier than was announced. Had to use Macdrive. Not so pleased.

Always really dirty. I think out of ten times, I had to go back downstairs eight times for something that was forgotten or incorrect. It's best to avoid restrooms.

Super McDonalds, terminals run quickly and smoothly. Very clean and tidy, children's area was closed when we visited. Gluten-free burgers available, you can choose at the terminal 🙏🏻

The restaurant closes at 9 p.m., which is very early. The McDonald's drive-thru is still open.

The burgers tasted completely different than what we're used to from McDonald's—very sour. The parking lot is filthy, and mice and rats are running around while you're eating. Not really recommended...

McDonald's, what can you expect?

Normally the food is standard, but here mine was cold at the drive-thru. I went inside to complain, and surprisingly, I was met with a huge backlash. I left the place disappointed and angry to avoid losing my patience and completely freaking out. So, I'll never go back.

Three ordering terminals were out of reach. We ordered food at the cash register, and it took quite a while to get our order. It turned out the cashier hadn't written our number on the receipt. The manager came to tell us the food was downstairs. Staff brought it back, cold, of course. We returned it and quickly received a new order. It was still warm this time, but it was the manager's fault for not checking the order. The tables and floor were clean.

Visited a McDonald's drive-thru. I paid partly with change and then turned in coupons. The amount after the discount wasn't mentioned; when I pointed it out, I was snapped at with, "I did tell you." When I pointed out I found him unfriendly, I was told, "I find you unfriendly too." He was already irritated by the coupons and the change, and he loudly called out, "Could the manager come help me count?" A very unfriendly experience for the customer.

Very dirty. Sticky floor, dirty tables (several empty), and the toilet was missing soap. Big Tasty had no bacon. I reported it, and they replaced it with two slices of cold bacon.

Dirty tables, staff (young guys) completely unmotivated, yawning, sighing, and doing very little. (Those who were walking around, they work harder behind the counter.)

Very poor hygiene. Yuck. Dirty tables covered in other people's sticky food. No toilet paper or soap in the restroom. Trash cans overflowing, so everything blows out and ends up on the floor. We'll drive to another McDonald's next time.

It's a McDonald's... But that's about it in Venlo. Not clean. Noisy. Strange behavior... Maybe it's because it's right on the border... But still. Not nice.

Unbelievably bad McDonald's, besides the fact that you often get half-warm food or the order is wrong multiple times. Today was the straw that broke the camel's back. You're standing in a terribly long line at the drive-through, finally get your turn (or so you think), only to see that the line on the left is letting no fewer than four cars through and order, and you still get no response. Then you drive all the way to window 1, and they casually tell you that the person working drive-through is talking to the manager... this is unacceptable! Last time we went, both for business and pleasure.

The restaurant wasn't clean. Tables were covered in trash. Food scraps and spilled drinks were on the floor. The empty tables were sticky. A staff member did clean the table immediately at our request.

Gluten-free options available. The food was brought to the table a few minutes after ordering at the terminal. Definitely recommended.

It's 9:26 PM on Saturday night, the restaurant is closed, only McDonald's. Why? Who knows...

Has become outrageously expensive

Inside, it's always filthy and messy. Outside, the trash can be seen for miles around, even as far away as Zaarderheiken. This, incidentally, says more about the type of customers who come there.

The food is tasty and it is clean.

I have been here several times and the waiting time is often very long. Also the toilets are often not clean and if you take the prices, you can almost go to a 'real' restaurant.

In itself fine youngsters throw the food you ordered on the table and say "enjoy your meal" when they have already walked 3 steps away. A bit friendlier is possible.

Well, McDonald's is always good for a stopover on the way from Austria.

I was really pleasantly surprised by McDonald's in Tegelen - especially in terms of the atmosphere. The branch is spacious, very spacious and looks particularly inviting thanks to the light colours. You don't feel like you're in a typical fast food restaurant here, but rather in a modern, well-designed place to spend time. There are plenty of good seating options both inside and outside, so that you can find a relaxing seat even when it's busy. The toilets were a real highlight for me: extremely clean, pleasant and definitely the best I've experienced in a McDonald's so far. As for the food, you have to expect slightly longer waiting times every now and then, but the food usually arrives hot and of good quality. The staff is also - depending on the day - usually friendly and helpful. All in all, I am very impressed and can highly recommend McDonald's in Tegelen - especially if you value a nice and well-kept environment.

After waiting for about 10 minutes, the restaurant manager wanted to give us our food. However, this exact tray had already been packed and ready NEXT to the heat lamp for at least 5 minutes. The manager didn't care; he tried to force the food on us anyway. We refused, and 10 minutes later he brought us everything new - it was fine! The restaurant was dirty, with trays full of trash everywhere.

No toilet paper. Terrible. In the morning you had to wait a very long time for a cup of coffee.

Incredibly filthy Mcdonalds. Sticky floors, filthy toilet and my food was cold before we had a seat. Chicken wrap had two different sauces in it which also didn’t make sense and tasted….
