Quality dropped a lot. Service was great, the gentleman who came to our table was very polite. The food was terrible. My burger looked like a failed project. Sauce was dripping, too much lettuce, beef patty was cold. It was Just tastless. This was below McDonalds quality. The manager should pay more attention to the staff, food quality and the overall cleanliness of the restaurant. I will not not visit this location again. There are better options in Venlo.

We were waiting for the order almost 30 minutes and it’s not even full of people in here. This is something i would expect in high quality restaurant not in a fast-food. We also found out that order was not in the system. In total the service was really bad. Not satisfied and also not the first time something like this happened to me.

Genuinely one of the best McDonald's I've had, based on how "fresh" everything was. You can tell this at McDonald's by how hot, crispy, and salty the fries are.

Order 20 chicken nuggets with 7 sauces — I don't get any sauce, and the nuggets are cold. When I call, a stubborn employee says, "If you come here, I'll give you the sauces, but I can't do anything about the chicken nuggets." Seriously? I'm paying for cold nuggets and then have to drive myself to get the sauce? No apology, no solution, zero service. What a disgrace.

The experience was incredible. I had a really great time there. However, I have to deduct points for the overall experience. While the portion of mayo was huge, I had to pay extra for it in the meal deal—and I emphasize, in the meal deal. THAT'S UNACCEPTABLE! Also, the gaming area was out of order. Nevertheless, a good fast-food restaurant.

It wasn't really clean... the food was well made though.

The restaurant was really dirty. There was trash on almost every table. Trash cans were overflowing. And tables were filthy.

I can't say much positive about this McDonald's! None of the tables were clean, and the floor was filthy, making your shoes stick. The fries were cold, and both burgers were sloppily prepared! And to think there was nothing to do.

Well, the fries were lukewarm, and so was the Big Mac. They forgot mayonnaise twice and the napkins. They forgot salt, which I'd asked for extra. The bag wasn't neatly folded shut like they normally do, but twisted shut. I'm always polite and tip.

A 3.7 rating is too low for this Mac, so five stars to raise the average. I've been here a few times now, and the restaurant is spotlessly clean (which is a real plus considering how some customers leave their things behind), the staff is friendly, and the food is ready quickly. This is a great Mac. If you want a comparison of what a bad Mac looks like, try nearby Kaldenkirchen...

I had a quick bite here on the way back from Maastricht. We shouldn't expect great food here, of course, but this location is truly hopeless. First of all, my order was wrong. I ordered several things without anything else, but they were still on my food. Besides that, everything was either cold or too tough to eat. When I walked upstairs to the restroom, I saw three employees leaning against the wall. The restroom hadn't been cleaned, and there was no toilet paper in the holders (you'd think one of the three would have time for that). I walked over to the three disinterested employees to ask if I could get some toilet paper (if you have to, you have to). After a short wait, I was handed a toilet roll in the middle of the store. So I could easily replace the toilet roll myself. This allowed the young man to happily go back to his position against the wall. The conclusion is that the food was terrible and subpar. And the employees are too indifferent to lift a finger. I think it's the worst Mac I've ever been to

Closed earlier than was announced. Had to use Macdrive. Not so pleased.

Always really dirty. I think out of ten times, I had to go back downstairs eight times for something that was forgotten or incorrect. It's best to avoid restrooms.

Super McDonalds, terminals run quickly and smoothly. Very clean and tidy, children's area was closed when we visited. Gluten-free burgers available, you can choose at the terminal 🙏🏻

Too few staff, long waiting times

Hygiene is nowhere to be found. Tables and benches are downright filthy! It's been busy.

The burgers tasted completely different than what we're used to from McDonald's—very sour. The parking lot is filthy, and mice and rats are running around while you're eating. Not really recommended...

McDonald's, what can you expect?

Normally the food is standard, but here mine was cold at the drive-thru. I went inside to complain, and surprisingly, I was met with a huge backlash. I left the place disappointed and angry to avoid losing my patience and completely freaking out. So, I'll never go back.

Visited a McDonald's drive-thru. I paid partly with change and then turned in coupons. The amount after the discount wasn't mentioned; when I pointed it out, I was snapped at with, "I did tell you." When I pointed out I found him unfriendly, I was told, "I find you unfriendly too." He was already irritated by the coupons and the change, and he loudly called out, "Could the manager come help me count?" A very unfriendly experience for the customer.

Three ordering terminals were out of reach. We ordered food at the cash register, and it took quite a while to get our order. It turned out the cashier hadn't written our number on the receipt. The manager came to tell us the food was downstairs. Staff brought it back, cold, of course. We returned it and quickly received a new order. It was still warm this time, but it was the manager's fault for not checking the order. The tables and floor were clean.

Very dirty. Sticky floor, dirty tables (several empty), and the toilet was missing soap. Big Tasty had no bacon. I reported it, and they replaced it with two slices of cold bacon.

Dirty tables, staff (young guys) completely unmotivated, yawning, sighing, and doing very little. (Those who were walking around, they work harder behind the counter.)

Very poor hygiene. Yuck. Dirty tables covered in other people's sticky food. No toilet paper or soap in the restroom. Trash cans overflowing, so everything blows out and ends up on the floor. We'll drive to another McDonald's next time.

It's a McDonald's... But that's about it in Venlo. Not clean. Noisy. Strange behavior... Maybe it's because it's right on the border... But still. Not nice.

Unbelievably bad McDonald's, besides the fact that you often get half-warm food or the order is wrong multiple times. Today was the straw that broke the camel's back. You're standing in a terribly long line at the drive-through, finally get your turn (or so you think), only to see that the line on the left is letting no fewer than four cars through and order, and you still get no response. Then you drive all the way to window 1, and they casually tell you that the person working drive-through is talking to the manager... this is unacceptable! Last time we went, both for business and pleasure.

The restaurant wasn't clean. Tables were covered in trash. Food scraps and spilled drinks were on the floor. The empty tables were sticky. A staff member did clean the table immediately at our request.

Gluten-free options available. The food was brought to the table a few minutes after ordering at the terminal. Definitely recommended.

Upon arrival, you immediately saw the overflowing trash bins outside. Inside, it wasn't much better. Dirty floors, dirty tables and benches, and a filthy restroom. The food was okay, as always at McDonald's.

It's 9:26 PM on Saturday night, the restaurant is closed, only McDonald's. Why? Who knows...

Inside, it's always filthy and messy. Outside, the trash can be seen for miles around, even as far away as Zaarderheiken. This, incidentally, says more about the type of customers who come there.

I have been here several times and the waiting time is often very long. Also the toilets are often not clean and if you take the prices, you can almost go to a 'real' restaurant.

In itself fine youngsters throw the food you ordered on the table and say "enjoy your meal" when they have already walked 3 steps away. A bit friendlier is possible.

I was really pleasantly surprised by McDonald's in Tegelen - especially in terms of the atmosphere. The branch is spacious, very spacious and looks particularly inviting thanks to the light colours. You don't feel like you're in a typical fast food restaurant here, but rather in a modern, well-designed place to spend time. There are plenty of good seating options both inside and outside, so that you can find a relaxing seat even when it's busy. The toilets were a real highlight for me: extremely clean, pleasant and definitely the best I've experienced in a McDonald's so far. As for the food, you have to expect slightly longer waiting times every now and then, but the food usually arrives hot and of good quality. The staff is also - depending on the day - usually friendly and helpful. All in all, I am very impressed and can highly recommend McDonald's in Tegelen - especially if you value a nice and well-kept environment.

After waiting for about 10 minutes, the restaurant manager wanted to give us our food. However, this exact tray had already been packed and ready NEXT to the heat lamp for at least 5 minutes. The manager didn't care; he tried to force the food on us anyway. We refused, and 10 minutes later he brought us everything new - it was fine! The restaurant was dirty, with trays full of trash everywhere.

No toilet paper. Terrible. In the morning you had to wait a very long time for a cup of coffee.

Incredibly filthy Mcdonalds. Sticky floors, filthy toilet and my food was cold before we had a seat. Chicken wrap had two different sauces in it which also didn’t make sense and tasted….

Food like anywhere else, BUT super dirty, the floor covered in leftovers, the tables and chairs barely usable. Behind the counter, things just move along so slowly, nobody's stressing. I don't know.

We had a large order, it was brought by 2 gentlemen who were very friendly! There was some confusion about which cola zero was, but this was quickly picked up by the employees and they went to ask. Super nice that the play area was also open outside for the children

Good food, that's what we like! Service is also good, but mayo and spices were forgotten. We will forgive them for that. Ambience is reasonable, window panels are stuck, you can't adjust the light from outside. The floor is just like three months ago; dirty, yes, sticky. The mop is broken, or the cleaning agent is gone, or someone doesn't know that the floor also has to be HACCP-proof. This sounds very negative, but we will eat here again, because the slogan still applies: we like good food!

Much of the seating furniture was broken and the floor was very dirty with sauce and pieces of food. My coffee was made first without the food being ready yet, so my coffee had to be remade. In addition, the lady behind the counter almost forgot part of our order. The atmosphere in the kitchen was very chaotic even though there were only 3 people present. I think this McDonalds could pay some attention to the interior and the people who work there. I won't be coming back here anytime soon.

We were on the way back from the Mind Mystery (It's also worth it.). It's a McDonald's like there are plenty of in Germany, BUT in the Netherlands they can do gluten-free burgers!!! That was also the reason for the stopover.

What exceptional service and prompt processing! Where can you find such honest staff who will even send your wallet to you after an email consultation? CHAPEAU!!!
