We ate a plate of standard pork gyros, the chef's favorite! It was incredible.

I ordered pitas with Uber and they cost €15 each and were watery and tasteless. Totally overpriced. Previously (about 6 months ago) €9.80. And that wasn't cheap. But €15? But unfortunately the quality hasn't improved either. Too bad. They used to be really great.

This place was our saviour after a freezing cold tour in the city. The place is compact but the food is delicious! Definitely will grab even as a takeaway in the future. The guys are full of joy!

The food is good, but it is the equivalent of a plate of kebab that in Spain costs 7 euros, here it costs 20. The treatment is superior, the place is small. It's perfect for a quick meal.

I paid 1.50€ for extra goat cheese and fig jam. There was zero fig jam inside. I opened the pita and it was overloaded with onions, one small bit of tomato and two tiny cubes of cucumber. The tzatziki was good texture wise but the flavour was not there. You don’t taste any garlic to it. Very sad because this place’s gyros pita used to be so flavourful when Mano used to make it back in the day years ago. The meat was dry and overcooked like it had been shaved a while ago and the scraps were thrown into the pita. Underwhelming and VERY overpriced and doesn’t deliver good pitas anymore like it used to. At least the actual pita bread was like I remembered it.

Best place for Greek food in Amsterdam! Did not disappoint one bit. Ordered a wrap and every mouthful was delicious. The staff were super friendly and the service was great. Would highly recommend!

I am not of the same opinion as the previous ones. Everything was fresh, the bread was good but what is worth the few stars for me is the choice of meat (very limited) and we are left hungry. It's a shame

Unfortunately I can’t agree with other positive reviews as I found the quality of meat of the beef option highly underwhelming for the price of 19 euros (bowl option), I would have expected real meat for this price but ended up getting an pink processed sausage. The tzatziki also did not feel authentic either, lacked flavor. On a positive note, the salad was fresh as well as the feta with a surprising fig jam on top. Also, the service was pleasantly fast.

The Italian guys who work at Meat&Greek were really kind to us and the food was great. The portions are very generous and the price is right given the quality of the ingredients. We will definitely be back as we work at the top of the street. The place isn't very big but you can eat on site or it's an excellent takeaway. Must try!

A favorite quick lunch when shopping on the Utrechtsestraat. Friendly and quick service, fresh and delicious food, and a fair price. My only wish is for slightly larger interior to host more folks to dine in!

First of all, Greek pita is usually served with fries. The price is too high, and the meat was reheated.

When i saw the menu and the Restaurant name I expected a Greek pita like the ones you find in Greece and all over the world when you go to a Greek place. So I ordered a Greek pita but I did not get a Greek pita. Let me explain: The quality of the bread and meat was good. But thats about it. The meat did not taste like traditional Gyros The bread did not taste like traditional Pita The sauce did not taste like traditional Tzatziki. All it had in common was the way it was wrapped. So if you want a different kind of sandwich, this is your place. If you want a greek Pita - this is not it. Staff was friendly. Place was small but cute.

Massive portion sizes, fresh and full of flavor. Quite a small venue so if you plan to dine in, plan ahead!

A decent pita gyros but coming from a Greek person not a really original taste it's more "Europeanized", no actual Greek people work there and no Greek music that makes it feel less authentic.

I came here with my family and discovered a lovely spot run by some amazing and talented folks! We decided to try the two Greeky Freaky pitas and ordered a special dish for our little one. Since our child wasn’t too keen on eating veggies, the staff really went out of their way to help customize the dish, making it a much better experience for him. I can’t wait to come back again whenever I get the chance!

We were staying nearby here and were very hungry, so we stopped in this small, but cute Greek restaurant. The food was spectacular. I got the Mrs. Greek pita and the fig spread with the spicy feta was so good. I loved this place!

We had pita giros. Everything very tasty and freshly prepared at an acceptable price for Amsterdam. But the meat was cut very thick from the skewer. I would insist on a thin cut next time. Everything is ok in the small shop with a manageable interior. Hardly any seats. You have to be lucky. Very nice service and chefs. So it's highly recommended Deductions in the B grade

This unfortunately was some of the worst food 😕... in my top 2 list. I have maybe twice before ever written a negative review... that being said, We ordered from this restaurant this evening & it was unedible. We ordered "gyros", but some very unacceptable dry hard full link sausages whole, was the meat in the dishes, sloppily thrown on this pile of soggy white goo, served on cold pita, 🤮... tasted so incredibly bad, I absolutely can not believe this restaurant has a 4.6 rating!?!? 🤯 If someone knows anything about this restaurant's back story, post it someone. I can't believe that rating.

We took two special pitas, very good and generous in portion, we spent around €30 for two. The clerks were very quick and friendly. The place was clean enough but it's more eat-and-go than eat-and-stay.

We were looking for a good gyros in Amsterdam, and we were delighted, both with the food itself, and with the girl who served us, who was wonderful, and being also Spanish, she gave us a great time.

We were there at 9:00 p.m. and got the last 2 portions before “sold out”! Everything is freshly made and tastes very good, the staff is friendly and committed. At such a late hour, just before closing time, the delicious Greek yogurt with walnuts and honey was included for free! We'll be back!

This was the best gyro I've ever eaten. The onions and tomatoes were sweet and flavourful, feta cheese and yogurt also had a natural sweetness and complimented everything. The meat was SUPER tender and flavourful. This place is a true gem. We got the "chef's favourite" wrap and can vouch for it 💯

These guys can really cook! One of the best Gyros I have ever had (and I lived in Cyprus for 7 years so have had a lot of them). If you are in that area of Amsterdam it is well worth a trip there.

Really good fast food. I wouldn't say it tastes authentic Greek, but however food is great. From my point od view, nor meat or tzatziki tastes Greek, but still good quality ingredients. Good cherry tomato. No fries in it which is kind of rare to me, but there is more meat, so it doesn't taste grease. Quite ok nutritional value then. Good atmosphere and service.

Tasty and filling gyros. A bit expensive around 14€ but the serving size is huge with lots of meat. Hot gyros without cucumber and replace feta cheese with home made sauce. Try it and thank me later.

Very good, a good place but it’s very messy to eat!

The food, especially the salad, does not meet the quality standards. The preparation of the sauces is poor. The tzatziki (sauce) is not tasty. The salad just tastes like washed lettuce without any sauce.
